Restore me Lord!

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 37:4-6

God can restore whatever situation you are facing today. The Bible is filled with countless stories of restoration. Redemption is major theme in the Bible. God wants his people to trust Him and to live in total peace. There is nothing that He cannot do. I am sure you remember what He did for Joshua, Daniel and many more. Do you remember the story of Paul in the island of Malta? Paul was beaten by a poisonous snake? The people of the island thought he would die and started to speculate that perhaps he was a murder and later on they concluded he must be a god. Did Paul die? Though your situation seems dangerous right now, it is not the end. Don't you worry! God wants to restore you. People maybe talking about you and laughing behind your back but God is about to lift you up for his glory. You have to stand firm and you have to hang on to the word of God. He promise to never forsake you and He will not. He is the promise keeper. He will do what He says. He can be trusted. He will restore health back in to you. He will restore your finances. Your love ones will come back to Christ."I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten--the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm my great army that I sent among you." Joel 2:25

How many times have you wished you can turn back to time and have a new beginning? How often have you wished you could get something back whether it is a health, wealth or a love one? With God every day is an opportunity for new beginning. Lamentations 3:23 says that His mercies are new every morning. God loves you so much that He chose to forgive and forget our sins and our past by the cleansing blood of Jesus. Why wouldn't He restore you? God wants you to know that He loves you. He is with you through high and low. He sees you. He hears you. He is a good Father. You are not an orphan. There will come a time when He will dry your tears and He will not allow you to be shamed and talked about anymore. This is the truth. The situation you are facing is temporary. God is going to show up in a major way.He will breathe new life into you.

Then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. Deuteronomy 30:3

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
    nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
    nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
    and see the punishment of the wicked.
If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.
