Recognizing the Lord

Recognizing the Lord

and run to Him

But when the day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. John 21:5

www.bibletourwithjoline.com

This miracle took place after Jesus resurrected. He revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea. They went fishing and couldn't catch anything all night, and at the end of the day, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was He. Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any fish?" They answered him, "No." He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they did as he said it, and now they were not able to haul it in, for the quantity of fish, 153 all together. The disciple whom Jesus loved, John, said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his clothes, he was stripped for work, but the other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, they were not far from the land. When they got out on land, they saw a fire there, with fish lying on it, and bread. Jesus was waiting and said to them, "Bring some of the fish that you have just caught and come and have breakfast." Now none of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. This was now the third time that Jesus revealed himself to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.

The one thing that touches me the most is Jesus’ love for the disciples. He cared about every aspect of their lives. He knew they were sad after His death. Because by the time this story took place, He had already appeared to them twice before but yet they were still depressed; they went back to doing whatever they were doing prior to meeting Jesus. This apparition was exactly what they needed. John was the first to recognize the Lord and Peter jumped off the board and ran toward Him. It must have been an exciting experience. Jesus knew what they needed and He gave it to them…hmmm. What is your need? I wonder what miracle God will perform in your life at the right time?

Do you run to the Lord when you encounter challenges, sickness and pain disappointments and recognition, joy and sorrow? or do you run further away from Him? The Lord is always ready and willing to renew our faith and to give us hope in His promises. There are great rewards when you recognize and acknowledge the Lord's presence. It was after recognizing the Lord that Jesus said to Peter that he would be 'catching people" for the kingdom of God. What a great revelation! Who knows what miracle God will perform in your life when you finally recognize Hi, and run to Him?

Praise the Lord!

Joy and Obedience

"And Jesus said to him, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Matthew 22:37

Visit: www.bibletourwithjoline.com

I hear people say that they are unhappy all the time and I wonder why God's people are so unhappy. We are the children of the King of kings, we have an inheritance that is worth living for and yet we have no joy. I realized that joy is closely related to obedience. One cannot be joyful when living a life of disobedience. It is only when we are walking with God and seeking His will to our lives that we can find peace and joy. Why do we have to obey God? Do children have to obey their parents? Naturally they do not have to obey their parents, but they ought to do so by design of relationship. Like wise, Christians ought to obey God not only because of His mercy and grace and we should be consumed with love for God not because we need to take advantage of the love in order to get what we need from Him, but because of who He is.

Throughout the Bible there are countless miracles that happened as a result of obedience. Jesus told the crippled man to get up and go, and soon he started walking. Obedience is the key that unlocked blessing and joy. We would be much happier if we simply do what the Lord tells us to do and we can finally have our miracles.

I urge you to start a life of pure joy and victory by simply changing the things that destroy your joy. Obey the word of God and rely completely on Him to change your circumstances. He is able and willing to take control of your life if you just let Him take charge. It is only in His capable arm that true and complete joy can be found. Let go of yourself and hang on tight to the Lord. He can be trusted. He will not let you down.

Praise the Lord!

God is Good

God is Good

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Hebrews 11:11

visit: www.bibletourwithjoline.com

We often speak of Abraham's faith and yet forgot about the difficulties of Sarah's faith, which must have been great at the beginning. God made her a promise to have a child when she was very old. She must have laughed at the promise, as though, she doubted God's ability to turn the impossible into great possibility, considering she had gone out of the way of her duty through unbelief, by asking her husband to have a child with her maid Hagar. A sin that probably made it more difficult to act by faith because sins naturally produce unbelief but God can do anything but failed, amen. Sarah conceived a delivered a child as promised despite her actions.

God is our maker and the maker of the world; He is the author of all things; and he made the world by his word and by his active will, saying, Let it be done, and it was done,(Ps. 33:9).The world was framed out of nothing, contrary to the claimed maxim, that "out of nothing, nothing can be made.” God can call things that are not as if they were, and command them into being. These things we know, understand and accept by faith. The Bible gives us the exact account of the origin/creation of the world, we are not to argue and doubt the Word of God.

Friend, nothing is impossible to God, even the situations you are going through right now. God has the power and the compassion to change your sorrow into joy. He is willing to bring the solutions of your problems today, but He needs your cooperation, He needs your faith. You need to stop manipulating the situation and let God work. If you can just let worries go, let unbelief go, and let doubts go you would see the glory of the Lord. God promises and plan for your life will come to pass. Do not worry. Put your mind and soul to rest. Slow down and give God an opportunity to jump in and enjoy the ride.

For years you hear about the power of God, do not leave this earth without experiencing it. Living by faith is really better. Why do you have to worry when your heavenly father wants to provide for you? As you are starting this new week , make the choice to release your faith a day at a time and sit back, relax and experience God's provision at its best.

My prayer is that you will experience the limitless goodness and faithfulness of God every day of your life starting now.

Praise the Lord!

You Have Authority

in the Name of Jesus

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" 1 Peter 5:8

visit: www.bibletourwithjoline.com

I was terrified by this verse when I was growing up. The thought of the devil walking around looking for prey was not an idea that gave me great comfort. I grew up in a country where people believe in the power of evil because they witness first hand some of his destruction. As I mentioned many times before, faith comes by hearing and fear comes also by hearing. I heard so much of the devastating work of devil, that I become afraid of its power even though I was raised in a Christian home. All around me outside the home, the voice of evil sounded louder than the voice of God. I knew that God was the Almighty but I also knew that the devil had some power as well. I am glad to report that now I know that "Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" John 4:4.

Right after I got baptized, I was about ten years old and I heard a man of God pray. I was very familiar with praying in the name of Jesus, but that man’s prayer was different. He never once asked God to do anything. He was ordering the spirit of evil, the spirit of disease to come out in Jesus name. I though that was a pretty cool thing. It was the first time I heard such powerful prayer. I didn't know until then that I had the power to order the devil out of my life. It took a few more years for me to fully understand my authority as a child of God but it was a major and wonderful revelation. We can resist the devil and when we do, he has to flee as reported in James 4:7

Christ is seated at the right hand of the father and we're right there with Him. We died with Him and rose with Him. Our victory is guaranteed. It is a done deal. Christ's resurrection is the source of the authority. Your battles are already won. Your diseases are already healed and your financial challenges resolved, and your broken relationships repaired. Praise God!

Exercise your authority and claim the victory in Jesus name. You have the ability through Christ to remain undefeated by putting on the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation along with the sword of the Holy Spirit and no power of the enemy can ever hurt you, because you will be prepared to win every attack, rather emotional, physical or financial. You have authority in the name of Jesus.

Praise the Lord!

God Wants to Bless You Abundantly

Your Father has all that You Need

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times; having all that you n
eed, you will abound in every good work".
2 Corinthians 9:8

For more resources visit: www.bibletourwithjoline.com

God repeats His Old Testament promise to bountifully bless the cheerful giver (Malachi 3:8-10). Our father got all that we need and He wants to give it all to us in abundance when we give cheerfully and when we remain faithful in tithing. For some unclear reason believers do not like to give but enjoy receiving from the Lord. Scripture tell us clearly that our tithes open the flood gate of heaven.
We all want to be blessed beyond measure, but not all are generous with our giving. People say they don't know what to give or how much to give. Well, start being faithful with your tithes and then give according to your heart. God established the principle of Seed and Harvest”; it didn't say how generous your giving should be but it says "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" Luke 6:38. If I were you I would start giving generously if you want to receive abundantly. The word of God is the will of God that is why it is important to spend time in the word. There's life and blessing in every word of God. "The word I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" John 6:63. The will of God is in His Word, the Bible.

People tell me all the time that they are not getting enough from God and I always reply that the choice is yours. If you are not satisfied with what you are reaping, check on the seed you are sowing. Remember to sow lots of good seed cheerfully and don't forget your tithes and your harvest WILL HAVE TO COME. Seed and Harvest has been God's way of doing things since creation, I can't stress this enough. "While the earth remains, Seed and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." Genesis 8:22

Friend, our heavenly Father is a great God. He is a more than enough God. It is His will that you should have all that you want, good health, prosperity, peace, love and joy. Come to Him, live according to His will as revealed in His word, the Bible, and start reaping the advantages of living in His will. Take your rightful place as His loving child. Let Him be your father.

Be encouraged, and be blessed in Jesus name.

Praise the Lord!

What a Mighty God we Serve!

God Loves "you"

"Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water. When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah). So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, "What are we to drink?" Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet". Exodus 15:22-25

Visit www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp

Now we know the story of how God took the Israelites from slavery out of Egypt victoriously and miraculously (there were the ten plagues and the crossing of the Red Sea), and yet His people still did not completely trust Him. After only three days in the wilderness without water they started to turn against Moses, they started to lose faith because they needed water to stay alive. They wanted to go back to Egypt. Moses cried out to God for help and what did God do? He came through for them once more. He gave Moses instructions, praise God, and the bitter water turned sweet. It would have been so easy for God to turn His back on them, but again, He gave them an opportunity to see His glory.

This story touched me in many ways:
. First, the Israelites cried out to Moses, but Moses Cried out to God. We need to know who to cry out to in our times of need. Moses could have gone to Miriam or Aaron to find refuge when the pressure was on, but instead he went to the One who had the power to help. Praise God!
. Second, the story makes me think of the importance of obedience. Moses threw the piece of wood in the water just as God instructed and the water turned sweet. Friend, let's learn to turn to God and not away from God in time of great distress.

Sometimes God is waiting on us to take a minor step before He intervenes in the situations we are facing and He will gives us hint: we go to church we hear about it. We turn on the television we hear about it. The car in front of us in traffic carries the same messages on their bumper stickers. The Holy Spirit tries to lead us to the right path and yet we refuse to change and we complain and wonder why we don't get our victory. We need to learn to be more sensitive to the voice of God and live in obedience. We are serving a great God who has the power to change any situation. There are perks to walking in obedience. There is healing, and deliverance in walking in obedience to the word of God. Get acquainted with His Word. Read your Bible until you understand God so well that trusting Him is no longer an option but the only choice.

Friend, learn to trust God. It is a choice worth making. Rely on His might and power and soon the situation of your life will have to change. God is waiting for you to take that simple step of faith. Will you come to Him today? Will you let Him help you? Will you accept His love? I pray that you do.

Praise the Lord!

Jesus is our Intercessor

"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it". John 14:12-14

Visit: www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp

Whatever we ask in Christ's name, He shall give it to us. To ask in Christ's name, is to plead intercession, and to depend upon that plea. It is to know without a doubt that we will receive whatever we ask for He will give it to us. Which means, once asked, we need to stop worrying. We need to be able to rest in peace and in the knowledge that Jesus is able. The word intercessor means counselor, monitor, and comforter. When we become born again, our faith is strong and we believe in our untested faith, we are ready to move mountains and we do believe that we can overcome any trial or temptation; yet when faced with a real problem, we all too often cave in under the pressures of the situation and the influence of others with little faith. I know how intense the pressure of life can get, from financial disaster, to repeated rejection, to acute pain and illness, and to constant mistakes and failures, but Jesus died to take away all of our troubles. He cares about every area of our lives. It saddened me that most people never experienced true love and as a result, they struggle with accepting the love of God, but my dear friend, God truly does love you and this is the kind of love you can depend on.

Jesus is ALIVE in Heaven and makes intercession for us constantly; when we have a need (small or enormous) and we call on His name, we have the assurance/guarantee that He will answer our prayers, and for that there shouldn't be any reason to worry. As we get older, our faith should get stronger and not the other way around. As we experience God's goodness we have to let go of ourselves and faithfully let Him take the lead. As we experience the saving power of Christ, we need to be able to settle in God's given peace. I was thinking of Abraham and David earlier this morning, as I go through my own trial, and I thought both of those men had great faith in God but they did not have the advantages of having Christ as intercessor. They knew without a shadow of a doubt, from their close relationship with God, that He was real and that He keeps all of His promises. Trusting God was a way of life. We now have a Bible with countless accounts of miracles, with testimonies of God's infallible word. We have countless literature and a variety of Christian television stations proclaiming the Good News of Christ and yet we still struggle with our faith. We need to learn to stand (firmly) on the Word.

Let's get back to basic today. Let's believe that Christ is alive, sitting at the right of the father at this moment, pleading our cases (big and small). Let's believe that we already won our battles through His death on Calvary. Let's accept the healing (of all diseases) and emotional wholeness that His death brought us. Let's understand that our well-being is a priority to Him. Let's trust Him to keep us safe in this scary and fragmented world. Let us know without a doubt that God He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will do for you and I what He's done for others. Believe Him to care about your situations today (all of them) and soon your harvest, your victory that you already have on the super-natural will manifest itself in the natural. Remember, you are not alone. You have an intercessor in Christ. Rely on Jesus, Rely on is immutable, unconditional love and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

El Deah-God of Knowledge

"O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? Or who has given a gift to him, to receive a gift in return? For from him and through him and to him are all things. Romans 11:33-35

www.bibletourwithjoline.com

I was thinking of all the names of God this morning and ", El Deah, the God of knowledge" came to mind and I realized something of extreme importance: If I am serving a God who knows all, who has the power to see my situation right now, He can see the middle of it and He already knows the end of it, the outcome of it all, then I have no business telling anyone else about it. I should only talk to Him because not only He knows the outcome, He also has the power to change it, amen. He knows everything. God inhabits eternity. God sees it all at one time. God is all-knowing - He can't learn anything new. God knows everything that's going to happen. He knows the future.

If you're saved, God knew that you would accept the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart. There have been many situations this past month lone that took the world by surprise. Let’s face it we are living in a strange world, but nothing takes God by surprise. God never says, "Ooops". I never thought of that" or “I didn’t see this one coming.” So my God of knowledge is able to change everything and He is able to do all things. He even has the power to change the outcome of things, so I shouldn't fear anything. I am His child, He already promised to take care of me every day of my life. He already told me that He has a plan for me, and His promises include good health and prosperity; therefore, I am not to worry when it seems as though I am so far off His plan. All I have to do is call on His holy name and trust Him.

God is full of surprises, and just like any father He delightts in His children happiness. Since I turn my life to Christ no two days have been alike. Just when I am ready to throw in the towel, Go comes through with something amazing and miraculous and today was no exception. My friend, when you wake up, pray and expect great things. Expect a miracle, expect God to touch you. Expect a word from God and He will come through for you.

Friend, if you are a curious person, you often fast forward to the end of an intriguing movie, or read the last chapter of a suspenseful book in order to relax while watching or reading it, but you miss out on the excitement of the plot, and our lives can also be as exciting, the only thing is we don't know the outcome, but fortunately, our creator knows and promises that it's all going to work out and since we trust Him, we accept it by faith. Unlike a movie there's no need to sneak a peek to the future because the Bible tells us that our Creator holds our future securely in His capable hand. Brace yourself and enjoy the journey. Don't give up and don't let your financial situation, your emotion and your physical symptoms confuse you. It's all going to work out fine.

When you going through a difficult time just imagine coming out of it victoriously just like you have done many times before in other circumstances; God does not change. He brought you through before and He will continue to do so every day of your life. It is possible that this situation seems harder than the last one and may seem more difficult to handle, but you didn't bring yourself out that last one, amen. God saw you through and He will do it again. He has not changed and He is still able to do great things. Nothing is impossible to El Deah. Know it, believe it and rely on it and be blessed.

What is impossible to men is possible to God.

Praise the Lord!

Your Prayer Life

Praying is important tool

Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints Ephesians 6:18

Visit: www.bibletourwithjoline/com

Have you ever been frustrated with the weaknesses of your flesh? Have you ever decided never more to succumb to a particular sin, yet when the temptation came, you fell easily right back into it? It's happened to all of us, even the disciple Peter who spent a lot of time with Jesus and he swore he would never deny Jesus, but he did it anyway, time and time and time again. There is something we can do to keep from falling prey to temptations like that. We can pray and be vigilant by making a constant effort to stay away from the things we have trouble resisting. God knew we'd be tempted at times, that's why we sent the Holy Spirit to help us fight this battle of the flesh. Who knows you better than the One who created you? Who cares more for you than the One Who died for you? Who leads you more carefully than the One Who knows the end from the beginning? Our loving Father gives us a way to deal with temptation. As usual, He provides for all of our needs. Praise God.

Romans 8:26 tells us, the Spirit comes to our aid and helps us in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we supposed to, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf".
You can know security because the One Who loves you are compassionate, caring, and courageous. Jesus knows you. He cares for you. He wants to lead you into the abundant life.

Friend, when fighting a battle (whether the battle against the flesh, or you battling against a certain disease), you don’t just pray. You have to remain in constant communication with God. The believer is instructed to pray without ceasing ((1 Thessalonians 5:17) regardless or needs and wants. Let's bring the weaknesses of the flesh under the Holy Spirit's control and experience the victory you never thought possible.

Praise The Lord!

The Word of God

Spend time in the Word.

Your word is a lamp to walk by and a light to illumine my path. Psalm 119:105

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp

In common parlance the phrase the Word of God, or often simply the Word, means the Bible. This is standard terminology among all who believe in the inspiration and authority of the Bible.

The first place we look for the will of God is in the Word of God, the Bible. This is the known, sure, absolute, revealed will of God. There's no doubt about it. This is it! If God never tells you another thing than what He has already written, if you operate according to the Bible, you'll get along great.

What is exactly the Word of God and how I can use it?
1. In Salvation, Romans 10:17
2. For my Growth, 1 Peter 2:2-3
3. It gives me Boldness, Psalm 119:42 (confidence)
4. It provides Guidance, Psalm 119:105
5. It gives Power, Jeremiah 23:29
6. It brings Conviction, Hebrews 4:12
7. The Word enables or facilitates Fellowship, John 15:7
8. The Word Cleanses, John 15:3
9. The Word brings Victory, Matthew 4:3-4
10. The Word brings Success, Joshua 1:8
11. The Word brings Satisfaction, Psalm 119:20
12. Joy comes from the Word, Jeremiah 15:16
13. Life is given through the Word, John 6:63
14. Wisdom is found in the Word, Psalm 19:7
15. The Word brings about Conversion, Psalm 19:7
16. The Word gives us Warning and Great Reward, Psalm 19:11

Everything you need is in the Word. Would you spend some times in the Word today and reconnect with God? There's only one way to build faith, and that is through hearing and meditating on the Word of God. The will of God is also reveal is the Word. Spending time in the Word is just a vital part of a Christian life.

Spend time in the Word today and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

God is Good

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
Psalm 34:8

Visit:www.bibletourwithjoline.com

When was the last time you thought about all of the great things that God has given you?
We tend to think about the stuff we need and can't have and often forget to praise God for what He freely gives us David knew of God's goodness and depended on it. David's prayers helped silence his fears; there were many others besides David who have looked unto the Lord by faith and prayer, a decision brought them much needed comfort. In reality, when we look to the world, we are confused and worried. It is only when we look upon God in His glory and majesty that we find peace. David was an ordinary man and he had lived quite an eventful life, but his faith in God, turned him into an extra-ordinary man.; and because of his faith, the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. One of the things I admire the most about David is the fact that his most passionate psalms of praise were written before he experienced any victory. He was able to foresee the outcomes of his trials because He knew of God's goodness.

Friend, tap into God's goodness and experience its comfort. You have to focus on the Kingdom. You cannot allow yourself to dwell on the things of the world, or you will risk going insane. The local and national news are always devastating. Friend, God is good and you cannot begin to enjoy Him until you acknowledge His goodness. He has the power to change the ordinary into the extraordinary. Take the time today to Praise God for His mercy, grace and goodness and you will be blessed. Do you feel alone with no source of comfort? God is the answer. Are you searching for someone who can take care of your heart needs and wants? Who else can understand your heart better than the one who made it? The maker always knows his creation. I urge you to look deeply into yourself today and really make that special connection with God and you will find a peace you never thought possible.

Praise the Lord!

The Miracle Worker

He is Still at Work

Soon afterward he went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him. As he drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow, and a considerable crowd from the town was with her. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep." Then he came up and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, "Young man, I say to you, arises." And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother. Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us!" and "God has visited his people! Luke 7:11-16

This is the grace of God in action! I don’t know if you ever meditated on the passage before, that widow was on her way to burry her only son. It was over by all accounts; and she got an unexpected miracle. We are serving a God full of compassion for His people. He rewards us when we least expect it, that is why it is so important to seek His Kingdom first. We can trust Him to take care of our dearest needs. Jesus told her "Do not weep" and He is also telling the same thing this morning. He hears your cry, He loves you. He wants to touch your situation. You have been crying long enough. You have been carrying this pain way too long. Would you put it on God capable hand this morning? His compassion has not changed. He loves you just the same. What He did for the widow, He is still willing to do for you. Will you please trust Him this morning? Bring your trouble to Him once and for all, and leave it at His feet. Your days of sadness, fear and worry are over, praise God; we are serving a compassionate, living God.

Our Miracle worker has not yet retired and nothing is impossible to Him. He cares about the mountains of your life as well as the little disturbances. He wants you to have the victory in all circumstances. You may bring all of your trouble to Him. He cares about your soul, he cares your health, and the math exam you are about to take, as well as your loneliness. His plan is for you to walk in victory, praise God!

As you leave home for work this morning, I pray that you feel highly favored and victorious in Jesus name, because you are indeed blessed, victorious, son/daughter of the Almighty. You don't have any trouble; all you need is faith in your maker, your father.

Praise the Lord!

As you leave home this morning, I pray that you feel highly favored and victorious in Jesus name, because you are indeed blessed, victorious, son/daughter of the Almighty. You don't have any trouble; all you need is faith in your maker, your father.

Praise the Lord!

It Shall Be Done!

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7

Christians often forget that the Lord Jesus Christ urges us not to worry because if they let Him (hangout with them) live inside of them, then they can ask for anything and it will have to happen, it will be done. Praise the Lord! To really understand this verse, you have to go back and read the 13th chapter of John. Jesus was approaching His sacrificial death for you and I, and it must have been a difficult time because He loved the disciples, He knew He was about to leave them and He also knew that both Judas and Simon would betray Him, and yet He seizes the moment for some much needed teaching. It is one of the most beautiful chapters of the Bible. Jesus wanted to be sure that the disciples would not despair and know what to do once He was gone. That’s how much Jesus loves us! He wanted you and I to know, even though He is no longer living as a man among us, we can still have access to everything He is and everything He has to offer. The disciples did not understand it at the time, but you and I have to realize that there is no need in our lives bigger then God. Let’s read the text again, Jesus, Our Lord and savior did not ask us to bring (some, a few) of our requests to Him, but He said ask for “whatever’ ‘anything’ and it will be done. Now, if this does not encourage you, I don’t know what will.

I understand that the church makes the word of God to difficult to grasp but there is nothing sophisticated about it. We don’t need a theology degree to understand that Jesus promises to grant all of our requests, as long as we let him lives inside of us. There is no trick about this. It is really quite simple, but can one abides in Christ unless he/she is saved? No! To start enjoying a loving relationship with Christ, you have to admit that you are a sinner. Therefore, unless you believe in Jesus Who died in your place, you will spend eternity in Hell. If you believe on Him as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith. It is really this simple. The beauty of it is that you can make this decision right where you are now. Friend, don’t let another day go by, make the decision now. This week alone a few notable people have left this earth suddenly. Even if you were to be blessed with many more years on this earth, wouldn’t you want to live with Christ? Don’t you want to experience this burden free relationship? My relationships with people have always been complicated from childhood to my adulthood, the only reliable, secure relationship I have known is the one with Jesus Christ and you too can start this incredible journey by making the decision to let Jesus Christ into your life right now. There is no waiting period, you make the decision and instantly become part of God’s family and the heir of the greatest kingdom, the Kingdom of God, and Jesus will now reside in you and you in Him and whatever you ask him shall be done.

Praise the Lord!
