Nothing too Hard for God!

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work within us." Ephesians 3:20

God is still in the business of answering Prayers. You can and should bring all of requests to Him. It makes absolutely no sense to carry your burdens when you can just easily take all to Him in prayers. All things are possible to God, and through the blood of Christ on Calvary, all things were made possible to you. Believe in God's word, don't limit Him or yourself.

You can do all things through Christ which is in you. (Philippians 4:13).
You can heal, and be healed. You can be delivered; you can prosper in Jesus name. You
can be set free out of the mess your life has become. (Mark 16:17)
The power of the blood of Christ is limitless.
You can have it all. Everything is possible for who believes (Mark 9:20 and Mark 10:26).

Friend, the word of God will not fail you and you have to believe it. Oh!!! How I wish I could believe for you. You have to believe for yourself. Your have to meditate. You have to keep the word of God alive in your heart, soul and Spirit. You have to go for it with all that you have. You have to cling to the word of God, when you're going after your miracles. You have to be persistent. God will strengthen you as you grow in faith.

Praise the Lord!

Loving God.............

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Follow your Heart & believe in yourself” is common advice but the Bible tells us that the heart cannot be trusted "The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). We hear it so often that we assume that it is sound biblical advice but the Word of God urges us to believe otherwise (He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, Proverb 28:26 and “And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me" (Jeremiah 16:12). Following the heart can work to rob us of God's grace and send us blindly down the road that leads to spiritual death.

Believe in oneself is the beginning of disaster. It is dangerous to lean on our own LIMITED ability and it is even more so to be away (OUTSIDE HIS WILL)from God. The Bible calls us to believe in the Omnipotence of God, but can we believe the Bible promises? If you are a believer in Christ, God has everything working for you, and sometimes life challenges may tempt us to believe otherwise but just when we think it is over then “wow” you are lifted up and taken higher. God is faithful and just because we can’t see Him does not change the fact that He is working for us, ordering our steps and making ways to lead us to the next step that will take us to our destination. The Bible gives us countless examples of people who believe in God, and not once was either one of them deceived. Many have tried to separate God's people from Him in many different ways possible but they never succeed because He says, "I will be with him in trouble" (Psalm 9:9, And He was. Men have left their country to follow God (Abraham for example). Some were thrown in the fire (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego). Others were thrown to the lions (Daniel) but God has brought them out successfully through it all. "Our anchor holds." Glory!

Can you believe? God is the same yesterday, today and forever (For I the Lord, I change not, Malachi 3:6). Every believer has the right to claim this promise and live with confidence that God will keep His Word as He always does. (Salvation through Christ carries a lot of weight and privileges. My friend, hang in there with the assurance that whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you have done, God sees you and cares for you. He is able and willing to pull you through whether fulfilled today or in the next few years, there is nothing but success and victory waiting for those who place their trust in the Lord. When the challenges come, as they often do, and you see absolutely no way out, think miracle, think God’s Omnipotence, think God’s promises, and think God's victory. He has a good track record, you can trust Him. He will not leave you. He loves you so much that He can’t help but saving you. Put your trust in Him. You can and you should believe in God's ability to save both in times of great blessing and adversity. Your future is secured. He doesn’t make mistakes. He is working it out, just wait and you will see His glory.

You can believe that God’s Plan for your Life (is a good one) in the midst of adversity.

Praise the Lord!

Psalms of Healing

Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am weak: O Lord, heal me, for my bones are vexed. Psalm 6:2

Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. Psalm 30:2

The proud have forged a lie against me, but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart. Their heart is as fat as grease, but I delight in thy law. Psalm 119:69-70

Let my heart be sound in thy statutes. Psalm 119:80

The Gift of Self...................

"Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you". Luke 6:38

Why don't we just give? In fact, let's just give without an expectation of getting something in return. People don't give because they believe that they have nothing to offer. Our society thinks of giving in terms of money. In reality we have so much to offer. We can give our love, our time, our services, our talents and ourselves.There are those who will abuse it but do not let anything stop you. Be a giver. Christ is our example and He was the ultimate giver. He gave His life. What a gift!

Are you a parent who help your children with their homework daily, but your next door neighbors don't know how to read or write? Then invite their kids over and tutor their children along with yours. Are you a person with distinguished business sense? Then help your friends who seem to fail at every business venture. Are you a married couple who have had success in keeping the peace in your marriage? Then help your friends who are struggling with their relationships. You always have what it takes to give of yourself. For in every situation, there is something valuable and positive that you can offer.

Do you have a family? Then invite a few single friends over to dinner after church instead of talking behind their back. Your invitation may keep them from making a mistake. The best gift you can give is to give of yourself. Your time, your attention, your love and caring are far more valuable than anything that could be wrapped up in a brightly colored box with a bow on top.. When you give of yourself you discover how very effective you can be. When you give of yourself someone else receives great benefit, and so do you.

I am sure you would find something to give, if you try hard enough. I am sure your help will be appreciated. The gift of "self' is the best gift one can ever give or receive... God Himself has given us the gift of life through His son Jesus Christ.

God is the ultimate Giver. He expects nothing less than for us to follow His example. I challenge you to give away something every day of your life. You may think you won’t have anything left if you do that, but if you give as the Lord leads you to do, soon you will receive so much that you will have to figure out where to put it all. God gives you bread to eat and seed to sow (See 2 Corinthians 9:10). Some things that God sends your way are given as seed for you to sow into the lives of others. Ask God to show you what He wants you to give away. Step out today, and look for a way to give. God will bless and prosper you as promised.

Praise the Lord!

God Still Answers Prayers

1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b]
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.

May the LORD grant all your requests.

6 Now this I know:
The LORD gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
9 LORD, give victory to the king!
Answer us when we call!

Oh the Blood of Jesus.....

I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy.Psalm 116: 1
The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer. Psalm 6:9

Answer my prayers, O LORD, for your unfailing love is wonderful. Take care of me, for your mercy is so plentiful. Psalm 69:16

People don't always believe it but The enemy really tries to dominate and control everything. From our thoughts, to our actions and ultimately our entire life. However, the good news is that Jesus has control over him, Hallelujah! The enemy has to submit to the authority of Jesus. Jesus went about healing all that were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). Jesus came, and died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day for our freedom. The devil no longer have any power over those who are in Christ. As Christians, you and I have been crucified with Christ and He now lives inside of us. When we cry He hears us. We do not have to ask Him to hear us. He cares. He is paying attention. He watches over us continuously which means He does not stop. He is actively watching, protecting, delivering and loving His people. You and I are under 24 hours 7 days a week, around the clock surveillance. We paid nothing for it. Jesus paid it all with His blood. Praise Him.

Psalm 34:17 says "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."  When we cry out to Him, He hears us and He actually delivers us. The devil's effort to attack your body and your finances are vain. His efforts were nullified at Calvary. The enemy may try to prove he has legal rights to attack but his arguments are voided. Oh, the blood of Jesus! He is able and WILLING to save completely those who come to God through him. Even before Satan attacks the end result was already known: Victory is yours! The enemy has no legal rights or authority over those who have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. Listen, because every child of God belongs to Jesus nothing (diseases, pain, lack) has the right to separate you or keep you from experiencing the love of God. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Mathew 28:18

Friend submit to God. Accept His forgiveness through the Blood of Jesus Christ His son and you will never have to wonder if He hears you another day of your life.

I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.Psalm 118:21

Faith and Prayer

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Matthew 28:18

He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. (Mat.10:1, 5:23-24).

Why don't we pray anymore? Christians don't believe in the power of prayers and fasting anymore. When someone we love gets sick, whether it is the common cold, diabetes, or cancer, I want you to know that it did not come from God. We are too quick to accept affliction and diseases as the will of God. Scripture tells us that the will of God is for His people to be well and to live long prosperous lives and to help win souls for His Kingdoms. It would be impossible to accomplish that from the grave. In fact, most wonders of the devil in the gospels are to produce all kind of sicknesses and diseases. Jesus gave us the power to heal the sick and to cast out demons. The demon-possessed boy was healed by the faith and prayer of the father. The best thing we can give to our relatives is our faith and prayer, to our spouse, children, and grand-children, and even our neighbors. We don't have to run to anyone, you can pray for your family. Some people never even try. Jesus says "Everything is possible to those who believe" Mark 9:23, and then He says: if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Mt.17:20).

"Faith in Christ" is the most powerful force of the universe, able to heal the body, to stop storms, to move the mountains of hatred and doubts, and most specially to fill us with love, with Jesus in our hearts, the seed of the love, joy, peace, and security that nothing or nobody can take away (Rom.8:37-39). Faith in Christ" is something very simple and yet powerful, when we trust God, amazing things happen:The father of the boy above believed and Jesus healed his son, by the faith of the father. The woman in Mark 5 believed Jesus could heal her if she just could touch him she touch him, and she was healed, she stopped the bleeding she had for 12 years.
Jairus, in the same chapter, thought Jesus could resurrect his daughter, and Jesus resurrected her! Glory to God!

The Syrophoenician Woman in Mark 7:25-30/Matthew 15:21-28 believed Jesus could heal the epilepsy of her daughter and the daughter was healed, by the faith of the mother.
And the same goes on and on with the leper, the blind Bartimaeus, another pagan and again another miracle. Nowadays for you and me to have "faith in Christ" is the same. God is no respecter of man, what he did before, He has the ability and the will to do again.

Are you facing a difficult season right now? Release your disappointments, your heartbreaks, your hurt, your pain, your failure, your bills, your lack, your loneliness and all other burdens to God in prayers. Trust Him to take care of your needs and He will. God is able and willing, and all He needs is "your" faith. Only in one occasion in all Gospels Jesus "could not" make miracles, and it was in His own town of Nazareth, (Mark 6:5). Not even Jesus "could" make miracles when there was no faith! It is faith that allows God to work miracles in your life.

Would you put your faith to work today?

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 149

1 Praise the LORD.

Sing to the LORD a new song,
his praise in the assembly of his faithful people.

2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
3 Let them praise his name with dancing
and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
4 For the LORD takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory.
5 Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor
and sing for joy on their beds.

6 May the praise of God be in their mouths
and a double-edged sword in their hands,
7 to inflict vengeance on the nations
and punishment on the peoples,
8 to bind their kings with fetters,
their nobles with shackles of iron,
9 to carry out the sentence written against them—
this is the glory of all his faithful people.

Praise the LORD.

Psalm 134

 Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD
who minister by night in the house of the LORD.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary
and praise the LORD.

3 May the LORD bless you from Zion,
he who is the Maker of heaven and earth.

Psalm 68

1 May God arise, may his enemies be scattered;
may his foes flee before him.
2 May you blow them away like smoke—
as wax melts before the fire,
may the wicked perish before God.
3 But may the righteous be glad
and rejoice before God;
may they be happy and joyful.

4 Sing to God, sing in praise of his name,
extol him who rides on the clouds[b];
rejoice before him—his name is the LORD.
5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling.
6 God sets the lonely in families,[c]
he leads out the prisoners with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

7 When you, God, went out before your people,
when you marched through the wilderness,[d]
8 the earth shook, the heavens poured down rain,
before God, the One of Sinai,
before God, the God of Israel.
9 You gave abundant showers, O God;
you refreshed your weary inheritance.
10 Your people settled in it,
and from your bounty, God, you provided for the poor.

11 The Lord announces the word,
and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng:
12 “Kings and armies flee in haste;
the women at home divide the plunder.
13 Even while you sleep among the sheep pens,[e]
the wings of my dove are sheathed with silver,
its feathers with shining gold.”
14 When the Almighty[f] scattered the kings in the land,
it was like snow fallen on Mount Zalmon.

15 Mount Bashan, majestic mountain,
Mount Bashan, rugged mountain,
16 why gaze in envy, you rugged mountain,
at the mountain where God chooses to reign,
where the LORD himself will dwell forever?
17 The chariots of God are tens of thousands
and thousands of thousands;
the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.[g]
18 When you ascended on high,
you took many captives;
you received gifts from people,
even from[h] the rebellious—
that you,[i] LORD God, might dwell there.

19 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
who daily bears our burdens.
20 Our God is a God who saves;
from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death.
21 Surely God will crush the heads of his enemies,
the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins.
22 The Lord says, “I will bring them from Bashan;
I will bring them from the depths of the sea,
23 that your feet may wade in the blood of your foes,
while the tongues of your dogs have their share.”

24 Your procession, God, has come into view,
the procession of my God and King into the sanctuary.
25 In front are the singers, after them the musicians;
with them are the young women playing the timbrels.
26 Praise God in the great congregation;
praise the LORD in the assembly of Israel.
27 There is the little tribe of Benjamin, leading them,
there the great throng of Judah’s princes,
and there the princes of Zebulun and of Naphtali.

28 Summon your power, God[j];
show us your strength, our God, as you have done before.
29 Because of your temple at Jerusalem
kings will bring you gifts.
30 Rebuke the beast among the reeds,
the herd of bulls among the calves of the nations.
Humbled, may the beast bring bars of silver.
Scatter the nations who delight in war.
31 Envoys will come from Egypt;
Cush[k] will submit herself to God.

32 Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth,
sing praise to the Lord,
33 to him who rides across the highest heavens, the ancient heavens,
who thunders with mighty voice.
34 Proclaim the power of God,
whose majesty is over Israel,
whose power is in the heavens.
35 You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary;
the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.

Praise be to God!

Psalm 102

Psalm 102

1 Hear my prayer, LORD;
let my cry for help come to you.
2 Do not hide your face from me
when I am in distress.
Turn your ear to me;
when I call, answer me quickly.

3 For my days vanish like smoke;
my bones burn like glowing embers.
4 My heart is blighted and withered like grass;
I forget to eat my food.
5 In my distress I groan aloud
and am reduced to skin and bones.
6 I am like a desert owl,
like an owl among the ruins.
7 I lie awake; I have become
like a bird alone on a roof.
8 All day long my enemies taunt me;
those who rail against me use my name as a curse.
9 For I eat ashes as my food
and mingle my drink with tears
10 because of your great wrath,
for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.
11 My days are like the evening shadow;
I wither away like grass.

12 But you, LORD, sit enthroned forever;
your renown endures through all generations.
13 You will arise and have compassion on Zion,
for it is time to show favor to her;
the appointed time has come.
14 For her stones are dear to your servants;
her very dust moves them to pity.
15 The nations will fear the name of the LORD,
all the kings of the earth will revere your glory.
16 For the LORD will rebuild Zion
and appear in his glory.
17 He will respond to the prayer of the destitute;
he will not despise their plea.

18 Let this be written for a future generation,
that a people not yet created may praise the LORD:
19 “The LORD looked down from his sanctuary on high,
from heaven he viewed the earth,
20 to hear the groans of the prisoners
and release those condemned to death.”
21 So the name of the LORD will be declared in Zion
and his praise in Jerusalem
22 when the peoples and the kingdoms
assemble to worship the LORD.

23 In the course of my life[b] he broke my strength;
he cut short my days.
24 So I said:
“Do not take me away, my God, in the midst of my days;
your years go on through all generations.
25 In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
26 They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing you will change them
and they will be discarded.
27 But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.
28 The children of your servants will live in your presence;
their descendants will be established before you.”

Psalm 145

1 I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.

3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
4 One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
5 They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.[b]
6 They tell of the power of your awesome works—
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.

9 The LORD is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.
10 All your works praise you, LORD;
your faithful people extol you.
11 They tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your might,
12 so that all people may know of your mighty acts
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.

The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does.[c]
14 The LORD upholds all who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.
16 You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.
18 The LORD is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.
20 The LORD watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.

21 My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD.
Let every creature praise his holy name
for ever and ever.

Harvest...............

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up. Galatians 6:9

When we apply God's word to situations and circumstances in our lives, God will meet the need! No matter how big the need or high the mountain, we serve a God that is a Need Meeting God! We sometimes forget or don't realize that the God we serve is a big God, He holds the world in his hands and there is no problem too complex for our God to solve. What seems impossible for man is possible for God. If we stop complaining and feeling sorry for ourselves, abut start confessing the Word of God, and Thanking God we will see God move in our lives like never before. God's word is sharper than any two edged sword; It accomplishes that which it is sent to do. Friend, confess the word about the need, Thank God for his favor, and wait with expectancy! God is waiting for the opportunity to meet your needs if you would only call on his name.

I think it is reasonable to assume that everyone has been through a valley experience. It is when one is at his/her lowest point, heart wrenching disappointment, penetrating loneliness, deep hurt. Your heart may have been broken, you may have been rejected by someone who promised you forever, your bills may be due and no money in the bank, no foreseeable job, One thing after another, it seems like you get over one problem just to face another; or you may be cornered by all kind of challenges, friend, you are in your valley. We often want to hurry or run thru our valley, or wish we could sleep through it because it's an uncomfortable place, but God allows us to walk through the valley to teach us, to make us, and to show us his awesome power in our lives! How would you know God was a deliver, if he's never delivered you! How would you know he solves problems if you never have any? How would you know he heals if you never been sick? How would you know that he provides if you never have a pressing need? How would you appreciate His love if you never been abandoned without any clear explanation? And how would you know He picks up the pieces if you never been broken?

God is a God of timing. God works according to his time table not ours. We sometimes don't want to give God the time to work things out. We want it right now. In the storm (waiting time), it seems too difficult to hold on but God will come through in due time. Don’t go ahead of God. Why don’t you just hold on a little longer? Hold on and trust God and know that He is a God will that work it out just in due time. You will harvest in due season.

There is a time for sorrow and a time for joy. There is a time for sowing and a time for harvesting. There is a time for sickness and pain and a time for healing. There is a time for lack and a time for abundance. God will faithfully guide you and take you to each season. He will never forsake you. You can rely on His presence through each season and in due season God will show up in a big way.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 149

1 Praise the LORD.

Sing to the LORD a new song,
his praise in the assembly of his faithful people.

2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
3 Let them praise his name with dancing
and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
4 For the LORD takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory.
5 Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor
and sing for joy on their beds.

6 May the praise of God be in their mouths
and a double-edged sword in their hands,
7 to inflict vengeance on the nations
and punishment on the peoples,
8 to bind their kings with fetters,
their nobles with shackles of iron,
9 to carry out the sentence written against them—
this is the glory of all his faithful people.

Praise the LORD.

My God is Greater!

"For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs." Zephaniah 3:17

The LORD has taken away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. The LORD, the King of Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm. Zephaniah 3:15

It is well known that we are all involved in spiritual warfare and the war only intensifies as believers become more effective in their fight for the cause of Christ. The more we strive for the kingdom, the more we get tested. The good news is that we do not have to worry because the God who watched over the nation of Israel then is still watching over His people today. He is actively watching us now. He will certainly deliver His people again. No matter what is going on in your life today /God is able and willing to help. He is Almighty. We often look at our situations and imagine the worst. We often forget to take into consideration the fact that God has already done everything He is going to do to deliver us from that very situation. He already sent His son Jesus Christ to save us. We no longer have nothing to fear. We are more than conquerors through Christ. Hallelujah!

Dear friend, God is Mighty. He is mighty to bring salvation to defend, deliver, bring victory and save. He is able to do all things. Nothing is too hard for Him. Jesus revealed His might and power by the way He lived among us. He endured temptation. Like us He was tempted in every way but He did not sin. His strength was much greater than ours. It is in Him through Him that I strength is perfected. It is no good relying on our own power. Rely on His might. My God is bigger than all the diseases in the world today. You can trust Him with your challenges. Bring Him your heartaches, your illnesses, your lack and your pain. He will change your sorrow in joy. Fiend, recognizing Jesus as the Mighty God is essential to true faith. God might is infinite. No matter how much we take from it, it will never end. God will forever be Mighty.

"Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me." Psalm 50:15

Thank you Father God for who you are and who you continue to be in my life and in the lives of my loved ones. I rely completely on your might for healing mind, body and soul. I turn all my burdens (sickness, pain, lack, rejection, loneliness) over to you. I will wait patiently for your rescue. I trust that you will deliver me as you have always done for your people through the years. I love you and I honor you, in Jesus holy name I pray. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 64

1 Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint;
protect my life from the threat of the enemy.

2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,
from the plots of evildoers.
3 They sharpen their tongues like swords
and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.
4 They shoot from ambush at the innocent;
they shoot suddenly, without fear.

5 They encourage each other in evil plans,
they talk about hiding their snares;
they say, “Who will see it[b]?”
6 They plot injustice and say,
“We have devised a perfect plan!”
Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.

7 But God will shoot them with his arrows;
they will suddenly be struck down.
8 He will turn their own tongues against them
and bring them to ruin;
all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
9 All people will fear;
they will proclaim the works of God
and ponder what he has done.

10 The righteous will rejoice in the LORD
and take refuge in him;
all the upright in heart will glory in him!

Going through my Valley........

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.” Isaiah 43:2

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

How should we deal with grief? The world seems to be a very dangerous place. Natural disasters alone are enough to keep people running scared. There are more kidnapping than ever before and numerous gun-related shouting. Child abuse does even shock us anymore, it is part of our current event, but how do we deal with all of it? Do we run to the pharmacy for Valium like the world does? Should we sleep through life or should we face our grief head on? A friend told me the other day that he was thinking of moving somewhere safer than here. A place where there will be no hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquake, tsunami, ect. God is Omniscient, Omnipotent, Beginning and End. He is everywhere at the same time. We cannot escape His presence. He is able to protect us wherever we are. We don’t have to run scared and stay up all night. He who watches over us does not sleep. This is no time to be half-consecrated and some what dedicated. This is the time to go all the way with God, to give Him your whole life. This is the time to start relying on His might totally.

One of the lessons I recently learned is that we have to put the Word of God to good use. It’s nice to read it and to know the truth but you won’t really get excited about the Word of God until you realize that it’s more than just a collection of inspired stories and that it’s actually guideline provided by our heavenly father to carry us from victory to victory when we apply it to our life. The same power that raises Jesus from the dead is available to us. We are children of God. He is in us and us in Him. When dealing with grief we must call on God’s power. Naturally, our flesh cannot take much grief, but we do have the. God has everything in abundance and He wants to give us everything abundantly. It’s all at our disposal. He loves us too much to force anything on us, but when we ask, we do receive. Praise the Lord!

The Word God in the above scripture didn't say we wouldn't pass through the waters, but it did promise to be with us when we do. Glory! When you go through the fire, you will not be scorched, so why are you afraid? You already know the outcome. When all is said and done, you are going to be alright. So how do you deal with grief? You do it with courage and faith, holding to God’s promises and by continuing to praise Him through it all. You are not another ordinary, lonely person. You are a special, extraordinary, legitimate son/daughter of the Living God. Stop trying to believe in God. Take it up to the next level by actually putting your faith in Him. It’s time to stop being a spectator, watching God work wonders in other people lives. It’s time to be part of it all and claim your inheritance. Once you do that, changes will start to take place in your life. I am so excited this morning, Are you excited? You and I have nothing to fear. We are never alone. In the middle of a month full of bad news God gives us a reason to smile, to hope and to move forward. Love, serve and praise God with your whole heart. Walk closely with Him in the good times and through your grief. Remember, God will not take your cares away from you. You have to give them to Him. As hard as it is, you are the one responsible to keep your thoughts under control, but you can do it, “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” 1 John 4:4

I am Forgiven!

Blessed is the one whose sin the LORD does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit. Psalm 32:2

who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24

Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18

Do you believe in the forgiveness of sin? Some people carry burdens for a long time. Even Christians carry guilt for many years. They believe God for healing and yet when it comes to the forgiveness of sins, however, they find it difficult to believe that God forgive all their sins (past, present and future). In reality, forgiveness is God's nature. The forgiveness of sin is the very reason why Christ came. I think is is vital that you and I remember that Christ died for our salvation from eternal death. When we accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, we are forever saved from eternal condemnation. We are forgiven. It is done. We serve a remarkably loving God who choose to forgive us each time we sin against Him as long as we recognize we are sinners and need forgiveness, confess our sins and repent, and also forgive others. It is a pretty good deal. It is a win/win situation. Even professing believers forget at times the true nature of God. Our God forgives. Friend listen, whatever you have done in your life,however horrible and shameful it was, God would like to simply take it away and wipe it away. There is absolutely no need to carry any burdens with you. You can actually come boldly to the throne of grace and give them all to your loving and forgiven Father. His mercies are new every morning. You can start anew right now. It will not count yesterday against you. We are forgiven, hallelujah!

Listen, there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ. There is no wall between you and God. The only existing barrier is the one you build yourself. Jesus Christ died to break down the wall. You are forgiven. There is no more shame. You are forever an accepted child of God. Listen, this is actually great news. You and I are going to go to heaven someday. Meanwhile, we are waiting patiently holding a one-way ticket, until such day comes. It is a done deal. The forgiveness which you and I have received through Jesus Christ is eternal. We cannot lose it. God will not take it away. If that make you want to shout I do not know what else would. You are forgiven. Hallelujah!

Dear friend Christ blood covers all your sins, even those which cause great embarrassment. When you accept what He did on the cross, then you will be able to accept His forgiveness for everything and you will be able to forgive yourself.
What sin are you struggling with? What have you done years ago and yet unable to find peace? What is your stronghold? Is it adultery? Is it abortion? Is it anger? Is it fornication? Is it drunkenness? Do you have a deceiving tongue? The blood of Jesus can set you free. Release it all to God. Receive His forgiveness and be free!

Father God I accept your forgiveness for all of my sins (past, present and future) in Jesus name. Amen.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9

About Christians...........

Then Jesus said to the disciples, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must put aside your selfish ambition, shoulder your cross, and follow me. Matthew 16:24

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

To be a Christian means to be a follower of Christ and to turn over our will and desire to Him. The first thing that we are supposed to learn when we become Christians is that we are now owned by Jesus Christ. This is what we call, "Lordship. We don't just call Him Lord. He really is Lord of our entire lives. Many people don't want to come to Christ because they believe that the sacrifice of self is too big of a price to pay, when the truth is yielding completely to the Lord won't cost you anything. It will only cause you to live life to its fullest. Jesus came for you to have life, more abundant life (John 10:10). Most people don't believe that God said what He meant and meant what He said.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" Hosea 4:6. When you turn over your being to the world, you are trading your diseases, your, lacks and worries for a life of health, prosperity and peace. How important would a lifetime of pleasure seem when compared to an eternity separated from God and all the blessings of life with him? How foolish will it be to seek comfort and riches of the world while ignoring the issue of our soul's eternal salvation? Some people want to wait until they are older to follow Christ but the truth is some of us don't get to grow old. People die at all ages, waiting for tomorrow might be the biggest mistake one can ever make; besides, it is better to start living in perfect harmony with Christ now, if we are going to spend eternity with Him, it is wise to develop a relationship with Him right here on earth. While Jesus called his followers to deny themselves, take up their crosses, and follow, He also promised awesome rewards:
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." (Matthew 16:24-25)

God is such a Great Father. He sent His son to die for our salvation. He is the creator of all. He has it all, but your life is the only thing that God cannot have unless you give it to Him. God gave you life so that you would have something valuable to give to Him. I don't want you to give up your life for opportunities. Give up your self simply because you love Him. Look into yourself and decide once and for all to follow Christ.

Praise the Lord!

I am Healed!

Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. Jeremiah 17:1

Psalms 103:2-3 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits — who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.This Psalm has been quite popular in my family for as long as I can remember. My mother particularly loved it and used it in her prayers daily. I memorized it when I was perhaps 4 years old. As an adult, it is a constant reminder that the greatest of the Lord’s “benefits” is that He forgives all our sins, and it is also a reminder of another of the Lord's benefits: He is my healer. He is able to heal all of my diseases. Praise Him! He does not heal some and unable to heal others. The Lord heals ALL diseases, even Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer of all types, Diabetes, Dementia, High Blood Pressure, Heart disease, Liver and Kidney issues, as well as chronic digestive issues and migraine headache. He heals all diseases.

"All" means all. No disease is so great that the Lord cannot heal it. Just last Friday I experienced God's healing power. I was in the middle of teaching a class when I felt this awful, and teeth clenching pain in my stomach and I bent over and started sweating in complete agony. As I tried to make it to my desk to get to the bottle of pain reliever in my purse, I remembered the above scripture as well as something Gloria Copeland said during a recent healing meeting. She said, "Do not yield to sickness, take authority and do not reach for the aspirin every time you feel something and always pray first." So I prayed and the pain left just as quickly as it started. Though God healed me multiple times before, I was so astounded with the speed of the recovery that I spent the rest of the day feeling my stomach, pressing it and looking for the pain but it was gone to never return. Hallelujah!

I get really impatient when people say that God does not do certain things anymore, considering that God said in Malachi 3:6 that He is immutable. God is still at work. He is still doing the things He always has done. He has not retired and His magnificence surrounds us. Healing is not just something that God “does.” Healing is part of God’s very nature. Gos still heals. Friend, Approach God in faith with boldness and experience His healing power. Listen, No disease is too hard for Him. When God said "all diseases" It dis not make any exception. No illness is excluded from this great “benefit.” Therefore, whatever disease you or a loved one may have, it falls right under God’s authority and promise to “heal all your diseases.” You and your loved ones can be healed. In fact, the word of God in 2 Peter 2:24 says "by His stripes, you were healed." Friend, You are healed!

God said Himself “I AM the Lord who heals you.” You and I must remember that we serve a healing God who has declared that He has noble intentions towards you. He said it in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome." He said in Exodus 23:25-26 "Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span". God is truth. He cannot lie. Lying is against God's nature. When He said "I will give a full life span" He meant it. Healing is yours. Hold on to God's truth. Trust that He will keep His promises and experience God's healing power.

-Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, his wife and his slave girls.
-Moses prayed in Numbers 12:13, “O God, please heal her!” in reference to leprous Miriam, and God healed her.
-David prayed and God healed.
People have been praying for healing for centuries. Do you think they would continue to do so if God did not heal? My friend, as I stated above, every disease and sickness in under God limitless power. Do not hesitate to bring any healing need, yours or loved ones, to God. Follow God instruction on healing. Have faith in God, Pray and meditated regularly, have elders pray over you and anoint you with oil, pray for others who are sick and decide to believe God no matter you hear and see and soon you will be healed. The lepers in Luke 17 did not get healed right away. In obedience to Jesus, they were healed “as they went” to show themselves. Friend, you too will receive your healing. Do not get frustrated if it is taking long and if the doctors are not optimistic. Do not doubt. Hang on to the truth: God heals. God will come through for you.

Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages). Hebrews 13:8

This I Know!

1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

He said in Exodus 23:25-26 "Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water.

I am the Lord Who heals you. Exodus 15:26

Psalm 101

Psalm 101

1 I will sing of your love and justice;
to you, LORD, I will sing praise.
2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life—
when will you come to me?

I will conduct the affairs of my house
with a blameless heart.
3 I will not look with approval
on anything that is vile.

I hate what faithless people do;
I will have no part in it.
4 The perverse of heart shall be far from me;
I will have nothing to do with what is evil.

5 Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret,
I will put to silence;
whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart,
I will not tolerate.

6 My eyes will be on the faithful in the land,
that they may dwell with me;
the one whose walk is blameless
will minister to me.

7 No one who practices deceit
will dwell in my house;
no one who speaks falsely
will stand in my presence.

8 Every morning I will put to silence
all the wicked in the land;
I will cut off every evildoer
from the city of the LORD.

Closer to God!

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. Hebrews 11:8

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Ephesians 4:1

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith. Hebrews 11:7

Friend, we must walk with God and not the other way around. God created us to freely choose Him. It is expected of us to walk with God but not forced upon us. The Bible tell countless stories of people who walk with God and how their lives were transformed. If we would just walk with God daily, Spend in prayer, Praise and worship instead of complaining and make an effort to live holy lives and sharing the good news of Christ with the dying world, you and I would go a long way pleasing God. Our objective is to please God by living a life pleasing to him. I can't even tell you how many times I have asked God to show me His glory by doing whatever I needed. I prayed, fasted, begged God to do certain things in my life and in return I would promise Him my devotion forever. In reality, I should start living the promise and God will meet me and not the other way around. As children of God through our Savior Jesus Christ, we do not have to beg God for anything because 2 Corinthians 1:20 says "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God." What a fool I was! I didn't understand God yet. It is through my walk with Him that He gradually reveal Himself and He continues to do so today.

Walking with God is actually one-sided. It is always His way or no way. We do not get to bargain or choose how to walk. God is the One who dictates the rules. God is Spirit and He requires those who walk with Him to do so in Spirit and in truth. Walking with Him involves us getting in agreement with Him and not Him with us. He is Sovereign whereas we are nothing without Him. You and I must long for God. We must strive for a closer walk with God. We must pursue the things of God. We must focus on things of above because that is where our father lives. To walk with God the way Enoch walked and the way Jesus walked requires that we simplify our lives. The pursuit of material things often keeps us from walking with God. To walk with God requires that we do His will no matter the cost. It demands that we forget ourselves and it entails an attitude of submission. When Christ was facing the loneliest time, greatest and deepest agony, He was submissive to His Father. He is our example. Like Him, we must submit to God and we will know the greatest victory

Do Not Give Up!

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body” 2 Corinthians 4:8-10

A famous actress once said, “If you have made mistakes there is always another chance for you...you may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure’ is not the falling down, but the staying down.” When adversity comes, our first reaction is to give up, roll under a rock because it is such an easy choice but anyone who grew up with step parents would tell you that is not the smartest to do. If you have to crawl under a rock, you might as well be dead. You have to keep fighting. Besides, the word of God urges us not to give up for God is on your side. “The battle is the Lord” 1 Samuel 17:47

Like many before us, we are face with challenges that we cannot begin to understand but we have to accept them by faith and turning them over to the Lord. We cannot let our situations keep us from trusting God. Most people use the word “trust” without fully understand its meaning. Trust incorporates many things from knowing God’s will to not understand His decisions, to completely rely on His wisdom and His unconditional love for us. When adversity come you don’t wait to die, you call on the Lord, you get in the word and claim victory in Jesus name. You certainly cannot give up. God always has a reason for the things He allows in our lives. He is preparing us for a future which He alone knows. We accept by faith that everything happens in our lives for His glory. We cannot allow the setbacks we encounter to get us down, we should instead learn from everyday life as well as the inspired scriptures that success only comes through perseverance, by keeping on and getting up each time we are knocked down. We must learn to persevere.

When trouble comes, just imagine yourself sitting on your father’s lap and tell Him everything. Unlike your earthly father, god will listen. He will not get tired of you, nor will be upset if you call on him in the middle of the night. I promise He will listen. He is the God in the day time and the night time. He is a reliable father, nothing is more important to Him than your well-being. You can count on Him and you can talk to Him anytime.

Let’s pray together:

Father God, thank you for your promise to never leave us alone. Thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to die for us, and it is in His name that we pray that you will teach us to trust you and to love you. Help us learn to turn to you in time of trouble. Don’t let worry and fear take us away from your good plan for our lives. Help us hang on and never give up. We thank you in Jesus name. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

The Lord Jesus Christ!

"The person who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. The person who loves a son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” Matthew 10:37

Since we are celebrating the birth of Christ this month, allow me to ask you a few questions: Do you believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ? Is He your Lord and Savior? If you were in a position to renounce Him to save your life, would you do it?

You have to know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is the incarnated Son of God. He became flesh and blood, so that through His death, He might destroy the devil and gives life. Friend, when it comes to Christ there should be no questions and nor confusion. You must be absolutely sure that He is indeed Lord. You must love Him not only more than your family but more than your own life. The moment you become Christ’s follower, your old life as you knew it is forever changed. He trades your imperfections, your diseases, and your lacks for physical and emotional wholeness. The promise of eternal life should be enough motivation to choose Him above all. Jesus demand total allegiance (intellectual and emotional) commitment and you know what? He deserves it. Who do you know would give his/her life for you? There are only two ways to be saved: If you live a sinless life (which is impossible and accomplished only by Jesus) or by asking Him (Jesus) to take the payment of your sin for you (which He willingly did on the cross). “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 3:16 and John 3:16)

If you have conviction that then move to the next level of commitment in your life that reflects His Lordship. Start confessing that He is Lord. “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9) To believe and confess that Jesus is Lord means that you agree with God and consequently will tell others about Him without shame. Would like to have a successful 2008? Start proclaiming the Word to and in the world and declare the Lordship of Christ. “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19) It is a responsibility that must be taken seriously. Start the New Year right. Rededicate your life to Christ. Submit your relationships, your family and your business to Christ. Embrace your mission and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

Holy God!

"Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the LORD your God." Leviticus 1:7

"And they were calling to one another: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory." Isaiah 6:3

"For it is written, "You must be holy, because I am holy." 1 Peter 1:16

We often hear that God is holy, but what is holiness? It is simply moral perfection. We live in a world where morality is almost non-existent. The Bible urges us to be “holy” as God is Holy, and in Matthew 5:48,Jesus also said “Be ye perfect." You and I are to do our best with the help of the Holy Spirit to be attain perfection. Our sinful flesh is always resisting the spirit of God because it is prone to sin but we have to try to resist. If we are to be holy as God is Holy, then we ought to hate sin. “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil” (Proverb 8:13). Holiness is the quality of Our Almighty God. Dear friend, our God is holy and He wants us to also be holy. Jesus our Lord and Savior is Holy. Holiness is attainable with the help of the Holy Ghost.

We honor and obey God because He is holy. Our God deserves to be honored, obeyed, and praised because He is holy. God will not force to obey or to surrender to Him. He wants us to willingly give Him What He rightfully deserves. Why does God deserve our reverence? Because He is holy. Meaning He is morally perfect. Our purpose as believers is to progressively (little by little) resemble/become more like God. A person who continues to sin does not know God. He may go to church, pays his tithes but he is not saved. “No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.”(1 John 3:9) A believer cannot obliviously go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

Friend, awake to holiness and righteousness and put aside the unholy living and be blessed!

Praise the Lord!
