About Christmas

Merry Christmas!!!

"The virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel," which means "God is with us." Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:23

Immanuel is a Hebrew name that means "God with us." It is a promise that God Himself would appear as a human infant, Immanuel, "God with us." This baby who was to be born would be God Himself in human form. This child was to be the Messiah, the Anointed One who would redeem the people of God. This was no ordinary child, but "truly this was the Son of God" (Matthew 27:54). During this Christmas day celebration, let's pause for a moment to examine the supernatural/extraordinary life of Jesus Christ and marvel at God's undeniable/supernatural love for His people (As reported in the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John).

Jesus Christ had no earthly father; he was born of a virgin. A multitude of angels announced His birth, and a miraculous star led wise men to worship Him. Throughout His ministry, Jesus worked miracles of healing, of creation, of controlling nature, of casting out demons, and even bringing dead people back to life. Jesus willingly died on the cross for our sins but arose Three days later from the dead, just as He had promised. Later, Jesus ascended to Heaven while His disciples watched.
Without this rescuing love, none of us would have any hope of salvation.
What was Christ mission? He tells us Himself. "For truly the Son of man did not come to have servants, but to be a servant, and to give his life for the salvation of men." Mark 10:45

Unto us a child is born. Who is "us"? Was Isaiah referring to all of us in the world? I believe not. He was only referring to those who believe those who accept and those who rejoice in God (Isaiah 9:3). There is no Savior, no hope, no peace, no mighty power, and no wise counsel and definitely THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ETERNAL LIFE for those who DO NOT KNOW Jesus Christ. This Christmas, analyze your heart, and decide once and for all what/who you believe. My prayer is that you accept Christ and assure a sit in His kingdom. Your life will be forever transformed.

Let us pray "I am truly sorry Father God for being reluctant to accept your son Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I acknowledge that I have broken your laws and live a sinful life for way too long. Now I want to turn away from my past sinful life and turn toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I now believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, and is alive, He is sitting at you right and hears my prayer. I accept His invitation to become the Lord of my life, the only ruler in my heart from today on. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey you, and to do your will and to continue to guide my steps for the rest of my life for I don't want to ever live outside your will. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

The real miracle of Christmas is God's demonstration of love for His people through the Lord Jesus Christ. May His love fill your heart with peace and joy this Christmas and every day of your life! May the awareness of the resurrected savior bring you joy in the midst of your trials. May you continue to experience the warmth of His sweet embrace now and always!

Praise the Lord!

Merry Christmas!

"You will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end" (Luke 1:30-33.

Every person on earth has someone or something that he serves. Every person gives priority to something or someone in his/her life, and that someone or something becomes evident in the things each person looks for, lives for, works for and strives for daily. People give great importance to what they serve. There are some people, for example, who live for pleasure and so they seek it above everything else. They give it the highest priority in their life. They enter each and situation with only the objective of getting pleasure from it. To some is the search of a spouse that consumes them and those who are already married believe that such noble things as spouse, home, and children are the only thing to live for. They live for them, and constantly look for opportunities to improve the family life.

Some people live for the fine arts: theater, art, music, concerts, literature others live for food. To most, it is the endless pursuit of power, I know people who bend every effort into making a dollar. In their blind pursuit of things they are willing to sacrifice health, family, friendship, the church, and more importantly they sacrifice a relationship with God. I want you to answer a most basic question: Is He my Savior, do I acknowledge Him as God, do I submit to His rule? We are my being called upon to make a choice: between Jesus and the distractions of today's world. Let me ask you, who is your savior, your god, and your king? Or, to put in simple language whom do you serve? Whose kingdom are you a part of? If your answer is the Kingdom of God, then your life must be a reflection of His glory. God should be the dominant force over your life. Everything you are and do should be a direct result of being a child who honors his Father, the Almighty God.

The past couple of years have been tough one on Christianity. It's been difficult to even wish a "Merry Christmas" to people on the streets. We are told to wish them all a "Happy Holiday". The world is trying to take Christ out of Christ-mas. It is imperative that you decide right here and now, who the reason is for this season. It is time to stand for your convictions. "Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness" (Mt 6:33), was said by Jesus Himself. So allow me to ask you again, who are you serving? Who do you love the most? Who occupies the place of honor in your heart? Who shares your private thoughts? Who makes your heart sings? Who do you run to at first sign of trouble? Who's your secret weapon in the fights of your life? Who fills your heart with warm, comforting joy in time of extreme adversity? What if I were to ask the people closest to you, what would their answer be?

Before you hit the road this morning and start wishing a "Merry Christmas" here and there, let me ask you one final time, do you know what you are saying? You are saying that Christ is the most important, influential part of your life. You are saying that He is your Savior, your God, and your King. You are saying that He is the sweetest part of your existence. You are saying that He came to this world with the noble mission to save humanity and He fulfilled it to perfection. He died, resurrected and ascended to heaven, where He is right now, sitting at the right of the Father pleading your causes and preparing a place for you so that "YOU" yes "YOU" can be with Him in glory one day soon.

As you wish to all a "Merry Christmas" remember what a privilege it is to be able to say it and pleased remember whose sacrifice made it possible. You may not be perfect, God knows you and I have flaws, and we don't know much but we acknowledge without reservation that Jesus is indeed the reason for this season.

May the grace of Our Mighty Father be with you this Christmas season may the joy of the resurrected King of kings filled you to overflow! May the Hope of heaven be your comfort from now and eternally! May the awareness of CHRIST become or/and remain the driving force in your life! Have a blessed and Happy Christmas! God loves you.

Praise the Lord!

Dedicate your Life to God

Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence as clear as the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. Psalms 37:5-6 Visit:

What does it really mean to trust the Lord? It means that we completely trust in His ability to be all that we need, that we rely not on anything that we can do on our own strength, and that we turn over our physical and mental strength to His will. To trust is not a selective decision; it should be a life style. We have to trust in everything. God has not given up the throne; He is control regardless of what is going on in this world, He still saving, protecting and blessing those who love and fear Him.

To trust God is to stop asking why this and why that is happening to me, and to trust God is stop taking heed and lean not on your own understanding; let’s face it there are certain things in life that will never make sense to us. And it does not matter how long and hard we analyze and try to figure them out because we are limited in our understanding. When God becomes the center of our life we should live for Him and we should know that we could trust Him with our lives (the life He gave us). We didn't have a choice in coming to existence. He decided He is our maker; we cannot love the gift more than the gift giver, right?

Let's commit our lives, our being to its entirety, and our destiny to God today. The rest of our lives could be the best of our lives if we make this simple choice together. Let's stop struggling to turn things around, and let trust the only expert who is able and willing to do so. Let's make the choice to indeed becoming a child by letting Him be what He already is "Our Heavenly Father". The above scripture promise help and justice to those who trust Him. Let Him be what He's been trying to be all of your life, your provider and lover of choice. God knows exactly what you and I need in order to find fulfillment and joy in our lives. Let’s agree together to let Him guide us to green pastures.

Will you reconnect with your father today? Will you have the courage to trust Him? Dedicate your life to Him today and start experiencing a relationship like no other.

Praise the Lord!
