The Lord Provides!

As the two walked on together, Isaac spoke to his father Abraham. "Father!" he said. "Yes, son," he replied. Isaac continued, "Here are the fire and the wood, but where is the sheep for the holocaust?" "Son," Abraham answered, "God himself will provide the sheep for the holocaust." Then the two continued going forward. Genesis 22:7-8

Friend, God does not see into the future. He knows it. Abraham trusted God to provide a lamb for the sacrifice, and just when he was about to kill his only son, God stepped in and offer a substitute. God is indeed our provider and we should trust Him to take care of all of our needs. I absolutely love the way God steps in my own life. Every time I think that it is over, every time I think that I am at the end of my rope, He releases another inch of his ever-long rope. "My son God will provide" was Abraham reply to Isaac and in due time God did provide, and then Abraham honored God by calling Him the provider.

God had provided for him in the time of his extremity, so He will provide for all of those that put their trust in Him. The God of Abraham is alive, and let His name be praised, and let us rest assured that, as certainly as Abraham, Jacob and Daniel in distress, the Lord appeared for them and was seen, God shall be with you and I when times of extreme pressure come. We shall all be tried and tested, but in our utmost need God will see to our deliverance, if we would just trust Him. The Lord is the Provider of men. Friend, I pray and long for all of us to get this truth firmly planted in our hearts. I pray that you let yourself be reminded of Abraham and all of those before us who trusted God to be their provider and were not even once deceived.

God is no respecter of man. What He's done for one, He certainly can and will do for all of his children. You just have to put your faith in His ability to provide for all of your needs. We know God is our provider because He says that He is. "So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him" (Matthew 6:8). The problem is that most of us don't have patience. We don't often wait for God; we get in more trouble and delay our blessings by making our own ways. Our Father does not know lack, He knows abundance. He wants to give you everything more abundantly. Romans 8:32 tells us that God shall supply our needs according to His riches and that we cannot have a need too great for God to supply. Glory!

So friend, what is your pressing need this morning? Whatever it may be, God's has unlimited supply of it. His unfailing, uncompromising and ever living word should satisfy your mind now and for all of eternity. God's wealth is at your disposal; His healing (emotional, physical and spiritual) is at your disposal. Don't continue to torture yourself by refusing to take God at His word. You are His child, His creation. You are His personal property, and He desires to give you His perpetual care and complete attention. I want to remind you that The God of Abraham, Daniel and Jacob is still in perfect control. He is able and willing to do all things. You must take the initial step to believe His word and you need to remind yourself every morning that you serve Jehovah Jireh. He provides. Allelujah!

Speak Truth!

Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. Mark 11:23

A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Proverbs 18:20-21

Faith pleases God. Circumstances are subject to change at any minute, but God will never change what He has said. He says, For "I am the Lord, I do not change."When we hold on to our faith in God's Word, circumstances will change. Jesus says to speak to our mountains. He never says to call thy best friends and every family member to talk about thy mountain. Christians just don't understand and sometimes, it costs them dearly. When you discuss your situation with you friend for example, you form a silent agreement. He or she starts feeling sorry for you and then they telling you who else faced similar challenges and did not make it and before long it becomes clear that you also might not make it. Unknowingly, you are in agreement with the devil.

Friend remember, the devil is already defeated. When you speak words that are not in agreement with the Word of God you are acting as Satan's agent. You are releasing it to the spirit realm. You are giving the devil authority to act in your situation by you using your power against you. Remember that life and death are in the power of the tongue. By discussing your situation over and over again in negative light you are causing negative outcome to come to pass. You must learn to take authority over the words of your mouth. Speak in agreement with God. Speak life. Speak victory or remain quiet.

Friend when you have a problem, you cannot run to your friends and all the people you think might be able to help you. You need to learn to take authority (as per Christ command and speak to it). For instance, you cannot tell anyone how sick you are all day long and expect healing; however, you must remind your body what you need it to do: Body you are healed. By His stripes you were healed. You are blessed coming in and you are blessed coming out. No weapons form against you shall prosper. You shall be the head and not the tail. the Lord will cause your enemy to come one way but flee seven way. I will live and not die. ect." You have to be in agreement with the Word of God.

The same goes for any situation. If you are looking for a job you cannot confess how hard it is to find employment in this economy. You must remember that you are not living according to today's economy. Hebrews 10:38 says, "The just shall live by faith." Instead of complaining about the economy, focus on victory. Speak to your finances and the situation will change. Friends pay attention to your words.
Most Christians just speak to God about the mountain, instead of following Jesus' directions and speaking directly to the mountain. Listen, instead of seeing yourself defeated the knowledge and blessing covenant allow yourself to see the problem defeated by speaking the Word of God. Friend, God is faithful. Do things according to His instructions and go from glory to glory.

Dear friend, what is the mountain in your life today? What stands in the way of
your victory? Could it be the words of your mouth? Remember victory is not coming to you. It was already given. Listen, whatever the circumstances of your life today, speak God's Word to that mountain. Speak to sickness and pain and order them to go. Friend, speak to doubt, fear, worry and unbelief tell them to go. Speak to debt and financial lack and tell them to be removed from your life and your entire family as a matter of fact, you have power to do so. Oh the blood of Jesus!

Our Father, and our God, we love you. Thank you for loving us and giving us clear instructions on victory. We praise you for you are worthy of our praise. Strengthen us Father in our daily living so we can represent you well in all that we do. In the name of Jesus your son, we pray, Amen.

Thank You Lord!

Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:13

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

There is always a reason to give thanks to the Lord. It is so easy to see what we don't have and yet we are blinded when it comes to noticing our blessings. During the times when I lived in my father's shed, I once woke up in the middle of the night crying and feeling sorry for myself. It was during a week that was particularly tough, but the day before I received two letters, one was another rejection for a job I was by all accounts qualify for and the other was a notice that my car was going to be taken away. There I was an adult sleeping in my father' shed, I was job less and soon to be car less.

Why me? Why was I the only one suffering? Why can't my life be the way I envisioned it and the way I prepared it to be? I have asked the same questions all nights until I fell asleep. God is so good! He woke me up and show me how blessed I was even in the midst of my job situation. I had a father who cares enough and invited me to his house. I was healthy, educated and I was fed daily, but beyond that, I thought I knew my father but it wasn't until my time in the shed that I really got to know him. In as much as I loved my mother and remembered everything about her, I have always wondered if I really knew her. What a privilege and a blessing to really know my father for the man that he is!

We often get caught up in what we want and we miss out on what we already have. What I have learned during my time of great needs is that God is good no matter what happens in my life. God is and will always remain a good father. He loves me so much that He sent His son Jesus Christ to die just for my salvation and now I have eternal life. lack may come. Famine may come. Sickness, disease, pain, humiliation and rejection may come but nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus and that is all that matters. "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2

Friend, when you receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior you become son/daughter of God. Your salvation is secured. It does not matter what happens from now on. You belong to God and that should be enough to give you joy and a thankful heart.

Thank you Father God for who you are. Thank you for opening my heart to your goodness. Thank you for loving me enough to send your son to die for my salvation. I will forever be grateful. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Praise the Lord!
