Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself. you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

I have a heard the story of a person who eats 3 to 4 (12 serving cakes) each week. He is obese and obviously in dire need of changing his eating habits. When I asked if anyone try to help him, I was ridiculed. I was told that the man was an adult and He is free to live his life as he sees fit. What he does with his body is nobody's business. Really? Is that what living life to the fullest is about? Aren't we our brothers' keepers? Isn't our body the temple of the Holy Spirit? I think it is very sad to watch someone destroys his body and say nothing. It is morally and Spiritually wrong. I say it before here on Bible Tour and I will say it again: The believer does not belong to himself. He was bought for a high price: the blood of Christ. I have been purchased by the blood of Jesus, and it is not for me to live as I please. God has the authority to command, and it is for me to obey. Remember that friend, if you are saved, you are not your own, you belong to God. Your life must be used for His glory.
The longer I live the more I realize that people and even Christians do not fully understand the value of the blood of Christ. They think that is okay to get sick and that sickness is God's will. They forgot that they have victory over sickness and death. Some people want to go to heaven to be with God but they are reluctant to live a life pleasing to Him here on earth. Most people do not want to spend eternity in hell but they do not necessarily want to spend eternity with God. They do not like rules and regulations. Friends, do not be fooled. There is no middle ground. It is life or death. Heaven or hell. It is one or the other. I fear a lot of people who claim to be the children of God and heaven minded, have really missed the mark; they have failed to take into consideration that it was the blood of Jesus that purchased and set them free. Let us make it as personal as it was: Jesus died for "your" freedom. He shed His blood for "your" salvation. Why wouldn't you want to live for Him? If you cannot live for Him here and now, how then, will you be able to live with Him in eternity? Do not be hypocritical. It is either you are living the Christian life or you are not. You are fooling yourself if you think there is a middle ground. You are definitely not fooling God. Going to church once in a while and do good work will not fool God. Do not forget that God created you and He knows you inside and out. God cannot be fooled. He reads mind and heart.
My favorite preacher put it like this: "salvation didn’t cost you a thing but it was not cheap. It came with a gigantic price tag for it cost Heaven, Christ; God, His Son; and Christ, His blood." Salvation my friend is a major deal. Once you realize it, you will be able to live the abundant life. Once you get a revelation of the blood you will be able to live a limitless life and a life pleasing to God by deeds, thoughts and words.
Oh! Father I repent. I just realized how much you really do love me. Thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ. Thank you for the blood sacrifice that heals me inside and out. Thank you for your salvation. I promise to live according to your will from now on. I promise to live a discipline life. I will pay attention to my words and thoughts. I will be good steward of my body. I will not do anything that would defile your temple. I want to glorify you in every thing I do. I want to be more like you every day. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Praise the Lord!
