Be Filled!

May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation--the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ--for this will bring much glory and praise to God. Philippians 1:11

"God makes a home for the lonely" Psalms 68:6

Many couples fall into the same trap, they assume that they only need each other and they alienate everyone including God from their lives. I know the pattern very well. You married 2 of the most active members of a church and soon thereafter, they disappear. They will reappear when they are having trouble conceiving a child or when they are in need of a home or when they are going through typical adjustment period that come with living together. Now I am not saying that church attendance is the cause, but it is usually an indication of problems to come. When we are removed from our spiritual circle/our assembly, we are more vulnerable to the devil's trap. We have a responsibility to remain alert because the devil is on a mission to bring us down. "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour". 1 Peter 5:8. We need each other and we need God.

Whatever you are lacking or whatever is missing in your life today, Jesus wants to give it to you in overflowing measure. He wants to fill that void, the emptiness you have been feeling since your spouse walked away, since your parents died, since your fiancĂ© chose yet again another over you. JESUS WANTS TO CURE YOU EVERYWHERE YOU HURT. He wants to restore your broken heart and re-establish the lines of communication between you and the Father that is why He gave His life. Go to Jesus with your emptiness, your need, hurt or loneliness. He is The Source, the Author and finisher of all things, the Alpha and Omega. He wants to fill your heart to overflowing. You will never experience the abundant life He wants you to have, the life He died to give you unless you are walking obediently with Him in an intimate and loving union.

There are many possible treatments for loneliness but I learn from experience that the most effective cure is to get right with God. Reconcile with your Heavenly Father through the blood of Christ. Repent and come back to His loving arm and never you will experience another lonely day in your life.

"May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in Him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit". Romans 15:13

Praise the Lord!

Power!!!

"I am the Alpha and the Omega" says the Lord God who Is and who Was and Who is to come, the Almighty". Revelation 1:8

Fri
end, there is nothing impossible to God. He is the author of all things. I cannot stress this enough. You can go to Him with all of your troubles not just some of them. He really cares about you. When you have a pressing need, you must be diligent by bringing it to the Lord in prayers. Being diligent does not mean to be consumed by finding a way to get out of your situation. Remember God is in control. He is waiting to deliver you. His plan for your life is a good one. Trust Him for complete victory.

Diligence means that you have to pray and read the word of God dealing with the issue. Let's say you need healing; then you must read and meditate on healing as often as you can. Your Bible should be your companion. Faith comes by hearing (understanding) the word of God. You must place yourself in a faith driven environment (read the word; listen to tapes and CD's). You might want to stay away from discouragers. You do the same thing when dealing with financial issues and so on.

Is the devil giving you trouble  today? Is he trying to torture you and shake you down? If so, It is time to turn the table on him.  You have the power to do it. You have the power inside of you to destroy his works, to heal, to deliver, to set the captives free, to reclaim you peace of mind, your emotional wholeness. An anointed man of God once said that believers have so much power in them that every time we wake up in the morning the devil worry and fear. The word of God says the devil should flee from us and not the other way around. (James 4:7) Jesus died to destroy the work of the devil (1 John 3:8). You need to understand what you have going for you (the power of the resurrected savior within you)

At this very moment, as you are reading this, the power of Christ is working within you. Align your thoughts with His might and you will accomplish great things. It does not matter what the situation looks like. You are to keep walking by faith and keep claiming victory. You are more than a conqueror in Christ. You are destined to win in Jesus Name.

Praise the Lord!
