To live a life of blessing, we have to make our words agree with what God says all the time. Not just for a few hours or a few days, but always.
If you've ever done that, you know it's not easy. As time wears on and the circumstances around you appear to be stubbornly determined not to change anytime soon, it becomes increasingly harder to keep believing and speaking God's word, and it become easier to speak word of discouragement and unbelief, but you have to continue on believing and that's the key that will unlock the blessings.
Ask any bride and groom and you will confirmation on how difficult the waiting period really is. While you are waiting on God the devil doubled is efforts to get you off track, to get you to doubt or to justify the reason you shouldn’t wait. He will try to tempt you in every way but you have to stay attached to God's word and believe that God can do anything but fail. He will see you through according to His word. Amen. Friend, it you are facing your waiting period you need to be vigilant, don’t doubt and don’t give up.
Don't let discouragement keep you from enjoying the life of blessing that God wants to give you right here on this earth.
. Maybe you are in a job situation that's really tough to endure and you are waiting and hoping that conditions will change for the better.
. Maybe you are without a job and waiting for news on an application.
. Maybe you are in a challenging relationship and waiting on your mate to change
. Maybe you are waiting to meet your mate
. Maybe you are waiting for a love one to start taking God seriously
It doesn't matter what you are waiting for, God is able and willing to do it, all He needs is your faith. The Bible speaks a great deal about waiting
"Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers will be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land." Psalms 37:7-9
The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him. Lamentations" 3:25
"The eyes of all look to Thee, and Thou dost give them their food in due time." Psalms 145:15
"And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in Thee." Psalms 39:7
Psalms 52 and 62 speak of waiting. Read them over and over again when you are going to your waiting period, keep the faith and watch the Lord work. (For an entire list of verses on waiting, drop me a note and I will promptly send it to you).
Friend, remember that the word of God is the will of God.
Praise the Lord!
