Who is Jesus?

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Someone asked me the above question this morning, my answer a little later, but we all know the correct answer to the question, but who is He (honestly) in your life?

• If you believe He is the son of God incarnated, why not serve Him? And if he is not God, why follow Him at all.

• If He is Almighty, then why not rest (find perfect peace) in His strong hand? Why not repose all of your trouble into His Mighty Hand? If He is not the Mighty God then how do you really think He will help you?

• If He is the Mighty God you should worship, serve Him and love Him with all your being, and if He is not the Mighty God, then stop pretending, stop reading our Bible and move on to something different.
• If He is the Mighty God, make time to adore and honor Him every day of your life from now on. If He is not, then use your time for more productive activities.

• If you believe He is who He says that He is then make Him a priority and let Him guide your every decision. If He is not the Almighty then continue on living as you please. : “I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides me there is no god I equip you, though you do not know me, that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the LORD, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:5-6.

The fact of the matter is, one cannot have an encounter with Christ and yet remains the same. The knowledge of Christ produces change. Once you meet Him, you can never be the same. The experience of Him is not comparable to anything or anyone. A life under His command (guidance) is exciting. In His presence there is hope, peace and love.

There are some “grey areas” about certain things in life but when it comes to Christ, it’s “black or white”: either you know who He is or you don’t, but if you know Him, you are in for an incredible journey, one worth taking. Who is Jesus to you? Be honest.

Jesus is my Savior. Knowing Him is the essence of my faith. It is extremely important that you understand that the Messiah the prophets spoke of, the little baby in the manger, the man who died on the cross, resurrected and gloriously ascended to Heaven where he is preparing a place for us (the believers), is indeed the Almighty Eternal God!

Who is Jesus? He is The Mighty God.

Praise the Lord!

Call on His Name

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Just because Jesus is no longer eating and walking among us in a physical body doesn’t mean that we cannot count on Him. Today’s Jesus is pretty much like yesterday Jesus. “For I am the LORD, I change not” Malachi 3:6; Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8. He is the miracle worker. He still saves. His compassion is the same. He still wants to bring you peace. You may not see Him in the natural but you must know, without a shadow of a doubt that He is with you.

So you are in trouble, the walls are closing in, call on His name. Don’t call on those who will not answer. Call on the one who will never be too busy for you. Most friends hide when they know you are in needs, when you are in pain. They just don’t know how to deal with you or what to do or say when you are going through the tough times, but Christ knows exactly how to comfort you because He’s been there at the bottom of the pit. Are you in pain? He went through pain. Are you rejected? He suffered rejection. Are they plotting against you at work? Oh how He understands plots! There is nothing that you may be going through today that He cannot related to. He understands firsthand the torments of this world and more importantly He knows how to get you out of there. Just because He died on the cross does not mean He is no longer powerful, if anything, by his resurrection, Jesus was exalted to the right of God and declared to be Lord of all, the King of kings in the sense that God has subjected everything to his power. He is the Christ of glory, the preferred "Son" of God. That is why we can count on Jesus!

You may feel lonely this morning, no where to turn, no one to call but I assure you Jesus is near , if you would just turn to Him, He would rush to your rescue, the only reason why you are still alone is by choice because He is alive. He is alive. He is alive. You hear me? He is now seated to the right of the Father waiting to plead your case. Waiting to fight for your causes, your battles, waiting (with pounding heart) for you to make the first move. Your victory is up to you. You may continue to fight alone or you may call on the One who never lost a battle. Glory! The choice is totally yours. You may not be able to see Him, but this presence and communion with Jesus is only possible by faith; if you do not have faith, you cannot experience his presence and glory in action. Jesus is the bridge toward God, for us Christians. Any access to God is by grace, gift of God, because God is inaccessible by nature; only by grace can men approach God. Only by the blood of Christ can we approach God.

Release your faith this morning. Let go of your pride. Put your faith in God; believe that He cares about you. He cares so much that He sent His son, Jesus Christ to be die for your sins, your salvation. His intention is for you to be saved in every sense of the word. He planned for you to be at the next level. This situation you are facing is temporary. It will be over soon. Just hang on tight to the word of God meditate on it day and night and soon you will enjoy perfect/complete victory. The victory you already have in the spiritual will manifest in the natural.

Praise the Lord!

Where is the Kingdom of God?

Is it in Heaven?

“Nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'there it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

The kingdom of God is not something that would come in the future in heaven. The kingdom is active right here, right now on earth. Let’s look at some verses that indicate the kingdom is already actively functioning. In Mark 1:15, John announced, "The time has come. The kingdom of God is near." Both these verbs are in the past perfect tense, which indicates that something has happened and its results continue. The time had come not just for the announcement but also for the kingdom.

We have already been brought into God’s kingdom (Colossians 1:13). We are already receiving a kingdom, (Hebrews 12:28). Christ "has made us to be a kingdom" (Revelation 1:6). We are a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9) already and currently a holy kingdom. The kingdom of God is here, Jesus said. His audience did not need to wait for a conquering Messiah. God is already ruling, and we should be living his way now. We don’t yet possess a territory, but we do come under the reign of God. The kingdom is relevant because it is our future reward, but also because it affects how we live and think in this age. We prepare for the future kingdom by living in it now.

Friend, don’t wait for the return of Christ to claim the kingdom. Start living today. You can live forever in paradise on earth in the name of Jesus, while waiting for His "glorious and imminent return"

Praise the Lord!

God is Good!

God is Good

.....And God is Faithful

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:11

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Nothing is impossible to God, even the situations you are going through right now. God has the power and the compassion to change your sorrow into joy. He is willing to bring the solutions of your problems today, but He needs your cooperation, He needs your faith. He needs space to work. You need to just get out of the way by releasing your faith. You need to stop manipulating the situation and let God work. If you can just let worries go, let unbelief go, you would see the glory of the Lord. God promise and plan for your life will come to pass. Do not worry. Put your mind and soul to rest. Slow down and give God an opportunity to jump in and enjoy the ride.

We often speak of Abraham's faith and yet forgot about the difficulties of Sarah's faith, which were very great at the beginning. God made her a promise to have a child when she was already old, she laughed at the promise, as if she doubted God's ability to turn the impossible into great possibility. She had gone out of the way of her duty through unbelief, in putting Abraham upon taking Hagar to his bed, that he might have a son. Now this sin of hers would make it more difficult for her to act by faith later. Sins will produce unbelief but God can do anything but failed, amen. Sarah conceived a delivered a child.

The maker of the worlds is God; He is the author of all things; God made the world with attention to details. and He made the world by his word and by his active will, saying, Let it be done, and it was done,(Ps. 33:9).The world was framed out of nothing, out of no pre-existent matter, contrary to the well-known scientific belief that "out of nothing, nothing can be made,'' which, though true of created power, can have no place with God, who can call things that are not as if they were, and command them into being. These things we understand by faith. The Bible gives us the truest and exact account of the originator of the world, we are not to argue and doubt the Word of God.

For years you have heard about the power of God do not leave this earth without experiencing it. Living by faith is really better. Why do you have to worry when your heavenly father wants to provide for you? As you are starting this new week make the choice to release your faith a day at a time and sit back, relax and experience God's provision at its best.

My prayer is that you will experience the limitless goodness and faithfulness of God every day of your life starting now.

Praise the Lord!

Forgiveness.....

For if you forgive others
their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.com

Has anyone ever hurt you so much that no matter how hard you try or pray you just can’t forgive? At one point or another most of us will be hurt, either intentionally or not. The key is to cultivate a forgiving heart. Why is it so important to forgive? Christ commands us to do so. The truth of the situation is that if you don’t forgive, you will not be forgiven. Think about the Lords prayer. “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” So what happens if you won’t forgive those trespasses?
The Bible has quite a few things to say about forgiveness:
Proverbs 20:22, Micah 7:18-19, Matthew 5:24, Mark 11:25 Matthew 5:44-45, Matthew 6:9-15, Matthew 26:28, Luke 6:35-38; 42, Luke 7:47-48, John 20:22-23, Acts 2:38, to mention just a few, but my favorite verse on forgiveness is found Matthew 18:21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times”.

Forgiveness is not as hard as we think. We don’t forgive because we choose not to. God often gives us choices but sometimes He points us in the right direction by exposing the consequences of each choice. In the case of forgiveness it’s very clear why we should forgive: so He can forgive us. I know what you may be thinking right now… but I can’t forgive, you don’t understand what was said about me or you don’t know what this person has done to me and I am telling you “yes you can”. I know exactly how you feel. I was angry for more than half of my existence, that’s a very long time. But I eventually realized that my anger was destroying my joy and keep me separate from God (couldn’t keep it going for long). I remember exactly when I started to get angry, and I remember exactly when God set me free from my bitterness and anger. It is important for Christians to understand that being unable to forgive has a lot to do with resentment/anger and both are from the deceiver, the devil. You have to be very careful not to give him a way in. He wants to destroy you and stops at nothing to do so. If it is hard for you to forgive, bring up your concern to the Lord in prayer. Choose joy, chose to be free from the devil’ strong hold. Choose the blood of Christ.

Perhaps you’ve been rejected or abused. In my case, the intense loneliness in my childhood and extreme anger in my adulthood came directly from the painful/terrible loss of my beloved mother at an early age. But now I help people overcome emptiness and loneliness. How is it possible you ask? Through Christ and Christ alone. When I think of what I lost in my natural life and think of what I have gained in the spiritual through the blood of Christ, it seems unreasonable not to smile, and dwell on my pain another minute. I had to release my sadness and forgive some people around me. Do I miss her? Every single day. Am I angry and bitter about it? Not anymore, not since I understood the power of the blood of Christ. My massive loneliness and deep pain are now replaced by pure joy. You can do this too. Release your anger and pain to God. Forgive those who have hurt you. Remember it is not about them. It’s all about Christ. Consider today, the first day of the rest of your joyful life and the first step in your spiritual growth and healing.

Forgive and be free.

Praise the Lord.

Be Committed!

It’s Time

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com,

Paul stated, “I have been crucified with Christ" I believe that he was referring to his conversion. (His change of life). He was teaching the Romans that knowing that their sins die with Christ on the cross should bring change and that they shouldn’t be slave of sins anymore. (Rom. 6:6). He was talking about the act of baptism. When we were baptized, we died to sin and thus (figuratively) “crucified” ourselves with Christ. As Christians, we cannot continue to live in the ways of sin (Rom. 6:1-2). We must live a life that the Lord and His will have dictated. Therefore, the next logical step is to be raised to live with Christ. The Christian life is lived through the power of God; if you are relying on your own ability you are setting yourself for failure. You will not be what God designing you to become without Christ. You must rely on the resurrection power of Jesus Christ working in and through you, which enables you to be a successful Christian.

“It is no longer I who live” How long have you been Christ? Can your family friends see a positive change in you? Here you can see what kind of commitment Paul had made to live for the Lord. You must understand that if you want to live as Paul lived, you have to surrender all that you are to the Lord, meaning that you are still free to make choices but you now make the right choices and continuously resist temptation; However, you will only be able to accomplish that by making the (obvious but very difficult choice) to obey the gospel to allow Christ to live in you. And the only way to do it is by allowing God’s Word to dwell in you. You must know the Word for it to dwell in you. Friend, I cannot stress this enough: You must read your Bible. You must know (intimately) the Lord you claim to love. You have to be totally committed to Him. What relationship you know that ever succeeded without complete commitment? A committed life to Christ will not come by accident. You must purposefully decide to live it, with all the highs and lows that come with the relationship, but unlike other relationships, at the end you will be with Christ eternally in heaven. The outcome is revealed in scripture. What a wonderful future to look forward to!

It’s time to get committed. It’s time to choose Christ by both your words and actions. This is the one relationship you must give your all to. Why is it easier for you to dedicate yourself to your family and friends and yet when it comes to Christ you tend to drag your feet? Your family life should be a reflection of your relationship with Christ. Decide to be crucified and bring all of Satan’ strongholds along with all your burdens/baggage to the cross. Let the light of the Word of God and the glorious resurrection power of Christ shine on you. Get committed and begin experiencing a life you never thought possible.

Praise the Lord!

A New Day!

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13-14

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

God does not only want us keep on talking about what He has done so many years ago. He wants us to talk about what He is doing today and what He will be doing tomorrow. How many times in life have we started a new year without realizing the goals we had set before us or even taken the time to evaluate why those goals weren't made? We cannot live on yesterday's blessings nor should we dwell on yesterday's failures and disappointments. This is a time to forget the past and move forward into the present and the future.

I believe that there is a dire need to say goodbye to things that are holding us back from fully experiencing God’s given life. What kinds of emotional, financial or spiritual clutter are we holding onto? What do we need to let go of in order to make room for new possibilities? What are some of the things we need to leave behind? I believe just saying that anything in our lives that keep us from fully focusing on the Lord should be left behind can sum it up. Being a Christian is a serious thing. It means to always be going forward. The Christian life is referred to as a walk. We talk about our walk in life; our walk of faith; and walk with the Lord. By its very nature, walking means putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward. . And as we move forward, we are always doing two things: We leave one place behind and step into another. It would be weird to see someone walking the other way around. As we walk (moving forward) let us leave behind those parts of ourselves that are hindering our spiritual growth.

Above our consciousness the Lord is gently guiding our thoughts and feelings. Our desire to start over and to do better comes straight from God. I believe it is always God's desire that we be filled with a sense of newness of what He desires and wants to accomplish through us. He desires greatly for us to be filled with a renewed sense of purpose and destiny. Every day in the Lord should be a day of new beginning. What kind of goals and plans will you make today? Will you choose to seek to serve Christ and His Kingdom in a greater way? While we are not au courant of it God is inspiring new ways of looking at life. The Lord is working with our spirits so that we are renewed every moment of every day. The fact is, there are new beginnings in our lives all the time. My dear friend, don’t let the enemy make you believe that it is too late. You can begin again this moment.

Friend, you can choose to feel trapped by the past, your mistakes, and failures or dulled by routines. Or you can make today your new beginning. A newness of life can be born in any situation any time, anywhere and especially now for “Today is the day of salvation” 2 Corinthians 6:2

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17

Praise the Lord!

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

We should praise God at all times, and not just when everything in our natural life seems to be going well. Christians tend to forget that they are in this world but they are not of this world and that the trials they face in this earthly life cannot compare to the glory that one day will be theirs when they are in Glory with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Once saved, you can live with a sense of eternal hope for the future. Don’t spend your energy worrying about shortcomings. Worship God instead and take the time to develop a real relationship with him despite the daily distractions that come with living in this world. Read Hebrews 11 and you will discover that Abraham is not the only one whose life was changed by devotion to God. Don’t focus on the things of this world. Keep your eyes on the Prize. Keep your eyes on God. He has prepared the same city for you.

Since Jesus Christ has saved you from your sins, you can enjoy heaven on earth as you worship and live your life for Him each day. You cannot waste precious time complaining about this and that. You have an omniscient father, who knows it all the beginning, the middle and the end of your situation. He does not panic and neither should you. He is got it all in control. No matter what it looks like your life is out of control. I don’t know what you have heard lately but I am reminding you that God is still on the throne. The Bible says in Psalm 121: 4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Imagine that, God will not go to sleep when you do. He continues to watch over you as you sleep. So why do you need to stay up obsessing over your issues? Friend, worship the Lord. It is in His presence that there is peace. In His presence there is joy. In His presence there is hope and in His presence we will live forever.

“Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies” Psalm 103:1-4

I Praise the Lord!

I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together! Psalm 34:1-334-

I praise my God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I praise him because He is a wise God: He has the ability to devise perfect ends by the most perfect means. He is a father who truly knows best. He is Sovereign: My God knows no limits. He is in control of everything that happens in my life. My God is holly; there is no sin or evil thought in Him. My God is omniscient. He is well aware of everything in my life. Nothing is hidden from Him. My God is Faithful. He keeps all is promises. My hope for the future rests upon God’s faithfulness. My God is immutable. He will not change and He cannot change.

My God is righteous. He is exactly as He should be. My God is omnipresent. He is everywhere. He is keeping an eye on me. Oh my God is merciful: He took upon Himself the judgment that was due me. He dies for me and he is working on my behalf write this moment. My God is full of grace: He grants merit where it is undeserved and forgives my sin debt that could not be repaid.

I praise my God for allowing me to experience his fullness another year against all odds. I praise my God for blessing me with earthly parents who knew him. I praise my God for surrounding me with positive people. I praise my God for always placing me in Bible believing churches where his Word is not compromised. I praise God for the lovely children in my life without whom life would be different: Keren-Happuch, Christina, Lynn-Iris, Jimmy–Lee, Gregory-Zidane, Patricia-Franztnie, Sarah, Sabrina, Ferna-Marie, Rachelle, Jolie-Luna, Esther, Frederick-Miccah and Jayden-Osteen. I praise God for creating me as I am (wonderfully and fearfully made). I praise God for not given up on me when I gave up on myself. I praise God for my trials and tribulations. I praise God for not sparing any hardship that is instrumental in perfecting me. I praise God for being Him: The Alpha and the Omega and the only Holy, worthy and only God.

Praise the Lord!

Happy birthday Patricia F.P., I look at you and my heart sings,my day becomes brighter and I remember how good God is. You are my blessing and a you are a joy. You are so precious to us. May you continue to grow under God's banner.

Your Treasures & Your Heart

Your Treasures & Your Heart

“But let your first care be for his kingdom and his righteousness; and all these other things will be given to you in addition.” Matthew 6:33

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Jesus says how we spend our times tell Him how much we love Him. Every day another 24 hours or 1,440 minutes or 86,400 seconds and Jesus says how we spend it is a good indication of where our heart is. Some of us spend a majority of our time looking for riches, getting an education, running around after our mate and children without any thoughts of the kingdom of God. Considering what Jesus says earlier in Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

It is not enough to ambitiously yearn to accomplish. It is not enough to attend church “Kingdom building” is a life style and according to Jesus, God's Kingdom and His righteousness are the very top priorities in all of life. Seeking God's righteousness is that important. The devil knows this and he try to blind us (those who let him), with complicated situations to keep us away from kingdom work. Our focus should be toward the end result. He gives this encouragement and admonishment to motivate us to understand and live all of life in relation to where it ends. Will life end in the Kingdom of God or in the Lake of Fire? That is a choice that each person makes. Even in the everyday things, eating and drinking, going to work, getting along with others, and so on, God wants His people to relate those daily experiences to their goal, the Kingdom of God. Since you and I have no doubts of our salvation, we have to work hard in helping others.

We have to be very careful when focusing on material thing. Always make time for God and His Kingdom. Be vigilant; make sure to keep the big picture in front of you. Be anxious for nothing. Let God lead you. Be hungry for Him. Be Hungry for His word and His Kingdom and watch all other situations fall under His control and experience His Glory.

Praise the Lord!

Happy Birthday Jayden P. What a pleasure it's been to watch you grow up. You bring joy to all of us. May God continue to bless you. May God remain your first love.

Filled to Overflow

“God makes a home for the lonely” Psalms 68:6

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

There are various books about loneliness because many are those who suffer from it. I was invited to be part of a conference on loneliness recently and there were many young married couple in attendance. They were all surprised to find themselves feeling lonely so early in their marriage. It was quite interesting because single people assume that marriage is the cure of their loneliness.

What is loneliness? Webster defines it to be a feeling of separation that comes when we feel disconnected from somebody or a group of people; it is extreme sadness resulting from being forsaken or abandoned.

I found out through my walk with God that loneliness is primarily a spiritual problem that begins with feeling separated from God. I feel the loneliest when I am not in obedience with the word of God. Loneliness begins when the first man and woman (Adam and Eve) sinned and lost their perfect union with each other and with God. When we choose to sin and go our own way, we disconnect ourselves from fellowship with Him and there’s no way a believer can find fulfillment away from God. He created us to be intimately connected to Him. He created us to be in perfect harmony with Him. He created us to have a need, a longing to be with Him and other people, when we hide away, we deprive ourselves from feeling His overflowing love.

Many couples fall into the same trap, they assume that they only need each other and they alienate everyone including God from their lives. I know the pattern very well. You married 2 of the most active members of a church and soon thereafter, they disappear. They will reappear when they are having trouble conceiving a child or when they are in need of a home or when they are going through typical adjustment period that come with living together. Now I am not saying that church attendance is the cause, but it is usually an indication of problems to come. When we are removed from our spiritual circle/our assembly, we are more vulnerable to the devil’s trap. We have a responsibility to remain alert because the devil is on a mission to bring us down. “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour”. 1 Peter 5:8. We need each other and we need God.

Whatever you are lacking or whatever is missing in your life today, Jesus wants to give it to you in overflowing measure. He wants to fill that void, the emptiness you have been feeling since your spouse walked away, since your parents died, since your fiancé chose yet again another over you. JESUS WANTS TO CURE YOU EVERYWHERE YOU HURT. He wants to restore your broken heart and re-establish the lines of communication between you and the Father that is why He gave His life. Go to Jesus with your emptiness, your need, hurt or loneliness. He is The Source, the Author and Finisher of all things, the Alpha and Omega. He wants to fill your heart to overflow. You will never experience the abundant life He wants you to have, the life He died to give you unless you are walking obediently with Him in an intimate and loving union.

There are many possible treatments for loneliness but I learn from experience that the most effective cure is to get right with God. Reconcile with your Heavenly Father through the blood of Christ. Repent and come back to His loving arm and never you will experience another lonely day in your life.

“May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in Him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit”. Romans 15:13

Praise the Lord!

The Comforter

The Comforter

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

The word “weary” means no vigor, no energy and exhausted in strength. We often feel weary because of everything that’s going on in this world. We often find ourselves looking for comfort, looking for peace in all the wrong places. But God design a system for us to get blessed and to find rest from our weariness. We have the Holy Spirit. God understands that at times we would be weary. Jesus must have been weary on His way to Calvary.

The Holy Spirit is a real person who came to reside within the believer on the day of he/she is saved. He is considered to be the third member of the Godhead. He is a person equal in every way with God the Father and God the Son.
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper that He may be with you forever; the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." (John 14:16-18)

“Come to me” is an invitation, He will not intervene unless you invite Him in. We tend to tell our friends everything about our lives but we tend to be too polite when it comes to God. We don’t want to bother Him; we pray for a few second, we don’t spend the time to tell Him about all that is in our heart. He is omniscient, all knowing but you still need to tell me about your trouble because only God can give the rest, the comfort that you are looking for.

I can’t say it enough, come to God, and stop telling the people who are unable to help. Call on the true comforter, the Holy Spirit and get the real comfort. He will build into our lives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), in addition to God real comfort.

Praise the Lord!

The Sacrifice

He has now, in His human body, reconciled to God by His death, to bring you, holy and faultless and irreproachable, Into His presence; Colossians 1:22

I never get tired of hearing about Jesus death and resurrection. This story can never get told too many times; most stories end with someone else living happily ever after; but the story of Christ ends with me living happily and forever next to the King of Kings; praise the Lord! What Jesus is reported to have done is not a tale or a lie; it is the truth. I don’t think people of our time understand the importance of such sacrifice because they are simply not used to put anyone’s interest before their own. We are “the looking out for #1 generation”. It is difficult to understand what Jesus has done. It is my belief that more people would come to Christ if they understood the sacrifice on Calvary.

In brief this is what Christ accomplished on Calvary: The King of kings, son of the Living God left His throne, lived among us as a man to show us God’s way and to offer Himself as a sacrifice (payment for our sin debt in full) in order to restore our relationship with The Creator and to give us access to eternal life. We were hell-bound, separated from God forever. We were condemned. Christ substituted His life for ours. Glory! We are now holy, faultless and irreproachable in God’s eyes, praise the Lord.

We have a responsibility to share the good news of Christ, in fact He commands us to do so: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit", Matthew 28:19

Some of our friends would be amazed to hear that we are Christians. Our actions/behavior and words should reflect our faith. Christians in many part of the world are still dying for their faith but we are blessed here in America, we can go to church and still preach the gospel openly. Let’s take advantage of it. Let share our beliefs and our hope to a condemned, hopeless and dying world. People need to hear about Jesus. I challenge you to tell one person about Christ today and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

Does your Child Have a Biblical Worldview 4?

These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:6-9

Parents strive to offer their children a better life than what they had. They try their best to leave a financial inheritance for them but fail to make provision for the one legacy of value: a love for God and His Word. It is the parents’ responsibility to provide children with things, but material things cannot substitute for faith in God. Children do not belong to the parents, but to God and while here on earth, they have the responsibility to raise them in manners that honor God. In Mark, it is stated that Jesus told his disciples to "Let the children come unto me." Jesus valued children and He understood their potential to further the kingdom. It is a mandate from God to instill biblical values in the children.

Children need to understand that when they do things God's way, they receive the benefits of that relationship. When they develop a relationship with Christ, the load lightened and become worry, anxiety free and addictions free, and so many other problems that seem to plague young people. Parents should be motivated to lead their children right not only because they love them and want to spare them unnecessary hardship, but also because they want to obey God and please Him. Parents, do right by the little ones and God will bless you. Teach them the word of God. Let them know that the world as they see it will pass away. Teach them to rely on God.

Give children spiritual values and not only material thing that have no lasting power. Teach children to be responsible at an early age. Teach them on the importance of living a Christ centered life. Teach them the fear of the Lord. It doesn’t matter how they feel about it. Seek God’s approval instead of children’s. Childhood is not a time of indulgence and a time to satisfy selfish desires, but a time to train and inspire your precious ones and to develop them into mature responsible adults who value ethics, peace, and God. Choose to please God above all else. Your love to your children is secondary to your love for God. Establish God authority over your home. Your fear and love for God must be a daily reality in your homes. Be the right type of influence and be blessed.

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Psalm 127:1

Does your Child Have a Biblical Worldview 3?

Many parents are too busy making a living to actual raise their children. They count on the day care centers, the schools, the teachers to do the teaching but the Bible instructs that it is the homes that should be the training ground. Although Ephesians 6:4 is a popular passage that speaks of the responsibilities of fathers, there are other passages addressing the mothers as well (2 Timothy 1:5, Titus 2:4, and 1 Timothy 2:15, 1 Timothy 5:14).
Don't leave it up to the ungodly education system to teach your children right from wrong for it is a mandate from God for you to handle the teachings. There is a reason why God places you in their lives. Being a parent is a big deal that comes with major responsibilities. The greatest one is showing them the love of God. Remember the main objective is to save their soul from “God's wrath or eternal separation from God or hell.

Friend, your children need a prayer life, a study life, a family life, and a life of service in the Lord to fortify them for the rest of their lives. Take them to a solid Bible believing church. Allow them to be taught by other godly adults and experience the joys of worship. Strengthen your children with the knowledge that they are not alone in their faith walk. They need to understand, through your teachings, that their lives have meaning and purpose in the kingdom of God, and they must learn this truth early. You must transfer your love for God and reliance upon Scripture to your children. There will be a time when you no longer be around but God’s Word is active, alive and will last forever and is an infinite resource of knowledge, hope, and insight for your child today, tomorrow, and forever.

Instill the love of God in your children’s heart. As a Christian parent, your greatest desire should be for your children to know and to love God and for your children to walk in His ways. Have devotional time with your family. Read the Bible with them. My heart aches when I meet with parents who don’t make the Bible a daily part of their children’s lives. They need to catch you reading your Bible and spending time in prayer. They must know that God is your first stop in the morning. They must know that God is your source. The best lesson is how you live your own life.

Praise the Lord!

Does your Child Have a Biblical Worldview 2?

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

“Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.” Deuteronomy 4:9

Education, upbringing, and the culture they live in, the books they read, the media and movies they watch, and other cultural influences form children’s worldview. Parents have to be vigilant and pay attention to what their children are exposed to.

Let’s face it, all parents want to train their children to be delightful, smart funny and just good kids, but the truth of the matter is that most parents forget that the purpose of training is to plant the soil of child's heart with an uncompromising love of God in order for them to seek him for themselves and be able to build a relationship that comes from the heart. The Bible refers to the heart as the place where good, bad, evil behavior come from and what we teach the children either by words or actions will determine whether he/she will bring forth good or evil.

Children cannot develop good behavior and develop a biblical worldview unless they understand that God exists (Heb. 11:6) and that He is the standard by which we measure everything else. God created everything that exists (Gen.1: 1) and he holds everything (Col. 1:17). We believe the Bible is God's divinely breathed/inspired Word, revealed to mankind (2 Tim. 3:16). We believe that the fullness of God came to earth and lived in the human body of Jesus Christ of (Col. 1:19). We believe that mankind rebel against God in the Garden of Eden and because of that one act of rebellion, sin and death entered the world (Rom. 5:12-14). We believe that believing in (John 3:15-19, 5:24), and obeying (Luke 8:21, John 3:20, John 14:21, 23-24), Jesus Christ is the only way to have eternal life or to be reunited with God (Acts 4:10-12). And salvation is a free gift (Romans 6:23) from God that cannot be earned because Jesus completed the work at Calvary (John 19:30). There will be a judgment day (Hebrews 9:27, Matthew 12:36 and Revelation 13:8).

Children need basic understanding of God's Word and the principles it teaches in order to have a biblical worldview. It is the responsibility of parents and all believers to embrace a Christian worldview in order to teach the children by words and examples. Confusion and division are rampant in our society. Our children need guidance. People who are anti-God are crushing family values that were once held in regards by our ancestors and unless our children receive sound teaching, they will not be able to stand firm when temptations come and they will not have biblical worldview.

Parents teach your children well and expose them to what is godly and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

Does your Child Have a Biblical World View?

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

What is a worldview? It is the basis from which people make sense of life and the world (how they see things). People who don’t know God believe that the material world as seen on television, books, Internet and other media is all that exists and all that living is about; whereas a person with a biblical world view knows that the primary reason of his existence is to love, serve, honor and glorify God.

A recent nationwide survey was completed and the results were astonishing! It was determined that only 4 percent of Americans had a "biblical" worldview and only nine percent of professing Christians had a biblical worldview. The stunning statistics worry me. Listen, if the adults’ percentage is so low, How about the children? The Bible instructs us to teach the children the way of the Lord at an early age. What are you doing as a parent? I will ask you again: does your child have a biblical worldview? Does your child understand that “live, love, laugh” is not the purpose of life?

I am not entirely surprised by the statistics considering that parents don’t bring their children to church. I often see parents in church parking lot and when asked about the children, most would say that either they wanted to sleep in or playing video game or whatever the excuse may be at the time. Some children may think that God is for the adults or people who are old and about to die. They may even believe that their youth is about living life to the fullest. But, can anyone live life to the fullest without knowing the purpose of life? Do your children know that life as lived by the Kardashians, and other reality shows should not be used as blueprint of their lives? The Bible offers clear warning concerning the believer’s way of life: "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2).

A biblical worldview is based on the uncompromising word of God. Do you read the Bible? Do you read the Bible to your children? Do you allow the truth found in the Bible to be the basis and the foundation on which you build your family life? Can you please take a moment to read the 12 questions below?

Is God real?

Is Satan real or a made up?

Is God the omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent creator of the world?

Is Jesus Christ the Son of God came, died, resurrected and ascended to heaven and one day will come back?

Did Jesus Christ live a sin free life?

Is there any other way to get to heaven but through Jesus Christ?
Is the Bible God or man inspired?

Do absolute moral truths exist?

Is salvation a gift from God that cannot be earned?

Once saved can one ever lose his/her salvation?

Does a Christian have a mandate to share his/her faith in Christ with other people?

Will there really be a judgment day and should you be concern about hell and heaven?

Do your children know the answers to the above questions? Do you know the answer to those questions? You should at least recognize where your family stands and if your family is not where it should be, it is your responsibility to do something about it quickly. The good news is that “Today is the day of salvation” 2 Corinthians 6:2

As we continue the study on children this week, we will reveal a few simple steps that can help get your family on track and gain a biblical worldview.

Let us pray: And father how grateful we are for your love. Thank you for showing us the truth about you. We thank you for constantly watching over our every move. We ask in the name of Jesus your son, to help us shape our families in ways that are pleasing to you. Thank you for a second chance to do it right. We want to be like you, for only you are Holy, only you are worthy and only you are God.

Praise the Lord!
