Persevere in affliction

You may be going through a difficult time now, but it didn't come to stay. The believer should not think like the world does.is a statement that should fill us with hope and joy. Most of us have been attacked by the devil so many times and we think that he cannot be defeated, but Jesus already defeated him more then 2000 years ago, Glory! Your only responsibility is to stand firm/strong in the word of God. Read your Bible my friend, get to know the will of God through His Word, faith-filled words, that's what will change your circumstances The Word of God moves mountains, split the red sea, turn sickness into health and more importantly turn sinners into saints. You must be aware of the healing power of the word of God. You cannot let yourself think and act like the world. The people of this world live without hope, but we keep our eyes on Jesus. Focus on God. Remain in prayer. Stand firm.
It is quite simple to let our thought life get out of hand. When you feel down, and your life seems to be falling apart and people you love and trust start looking down on you and treat you with disrespect, you may be tempted to think less of yourself. The key is to look up to Jesus and see yourself as He sees you: a beloved child of God. You are so worthy that He offers His life as substitute for yours. When you understand this truth, it won't matter what anyone thinks of you. The trials of this world will not scare you a bit and your faith will not be shaken down because your focus is on God. He will work with you but you have to do a few things. (Remember the principle of seed and harvest we covered it in our 7/11 devotion -Genesis 8:20-22
. First, you must sow the seed of the Word in faith, expecting it to grow. You must find promises from God in His Word; plant them in your heart and in your life, meaning that you cannot be confessing your problems all day long, speak the solution by confessing the Word of God concerning your situation instead.
Next, you must water the seed. Water it every day with praise. Water it with the spiritual water of the Word and those seed promises can't grow without it. If you have
When the weeds of doubt, fear, and discouragement try to enter your mind, you have to have the courage to keep them out. Remember to focus on God and don't slip to unbelief no matter what.
Pray and believe in God and His promises and living water shall flow out of you in due times. Stand firm, persevere and be blessed.
