Jesus is my Victory!

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 15: 57

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. 2 Corinthians 2:14

I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Victory is yours. I don't think Christians realize that they do not have to fight for their victory today. Jesus already won. It is done. Once you have Jesus as Lord and Savior, no matter what happens in life, you can't lose. You already won through Jesus. I understand that it is hard to believe, especially in this culture, but you have to have a hang of this my friend. There is nothing else you need to do for your victory. Christ done it all. At Calvary, when Jesus said " it is finished" It was finished. Your job is to continue to give the glory and to serve Him feverishly. He deserves the praise and the honor now and forever.

Friend, I do not know what you are going through right now but I know that victory in Jesus is certain. I do not care how scary and dangerous your situation appears to be. Jesus fixed it many years ago at Calvary. Whatever it is you are facing was dealt with at the cross.  Jesus brought  hope. He is the only One who has never failed and will never fail you. You can count on Him.  But listen, if you are going to have victory you must be yielded to God's will. You have to let God lead you. Victory is yours, but you cannot do it alone.  The Holy Spirit is there to guide you and help.  "Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord Almighty." Zechariah 4: 6

Friend, you have to be optimistic. Jesus was never pessimistic. He is our example in every way. Jesus was able to remain optimistic because of his relationship with the Father. He trusted Him completely. You must have a relationship with Christ. He wants to have a relationship with you. He loves you. He already gave you His best by dying for you.  Listen, if Jesus gave his life for you, what else then wouldn't He give for you.  What is your pressing need my friend? Is it financial? Is an illness? Is it relational? Whatever it is you can hand it over to the Lord and let Him guide you to victory. He has done it many times before and He has the power and ability to do it again. He is always willing.  You can come to Him. He can be trusted. You can be healed. You finances can be restored. You relationships can be repaired.  You already have it all.  You have Christ. A victorious life is rooted in Christ. Victory is yours if you dare accept it.

'Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15: 57-58

And Father how grateful I am for your finished work at Calvary. Thank you giving me the victory. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 40

Psalm 40

I waited patiently for the Lord;
    he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
    out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
    and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
    a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord
    and put their trust in him.
Blessed is the one
    who trusts in the Lord
who does not look to the proud,
    to those who turn aside to false gods.[b]
Many, Lord my God,
    are the wonders you have done,
    the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you;
    were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
    they would be too many to declare.
Sacrifice and offering you did not desire—
    but my ears you have opened[c]—
    burnt offerings and sin offerings[d] you did not require.
Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—
    it is written about me in the scroll.[e]
I desire to do your will, my God;
    your law is within my heart.”
I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;
    I do not seal my lips, Lord,
    as you know.
10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
    I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
    from the great assembly.
11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
    may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
12 For troubles without number surround me;
    my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see.
They are more than the hairs of my head,
    and my heart fails within me.
13 Be pleased to save me, Lord;
    come quickly, Lord, to help me.
14 May all who want to take my life
    be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
    be turned back in disgrace.
15 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”
    be appalled at their own shame.
16 But may all who seek you
    rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who long for your saving help always say,
    “The Lord is great!”
17 But as for me, I am poor and needy;
    may the Lord think of me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
    you are my God, do not delay.
