Use Your Spiritual Eye/Part 2

For we live (regulate our lives) by faith (convictions, not by sight what we see/appearance). 2 Corinthians 5:7

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen (spiritual) for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthian 4:18

How do you see with your spiritual eye? You do that by the words out of your mouth. You can discipline the eye by words and casting out imagination and distractions. You have to be diligent when going after your miracle, Every time your physical eyes fall on the illness, you will have to remind yourself of 1 Peter 2:24 or Isaiah 53:5 and make it personal “But he was pierced for my transgressions, he was crushed for my iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds I am healed”. All Bible promises are yours. Whatever the situation is you (continuously) confess the word of God concerning it, that is why it so important to know the Word of God. Heaven and earth were created with Words. The ones coming out of your mouth have the power to make or break you. People confess illness and poverty all day long and pray for the contrary in the evening. Friend, your words must be in agreement with your spiritual eyes. You should only confess what you want to happened and not what you fear might happen. I cannot tell you how many times I tell people to pray the solution and not the problem. Confess the end result and not the actual situation.

You have to close your natural eyes and refuse to see the impossible. If Abraham worried about his age and Sarah’s he wouldn’t have seen God’s glory. He refuses to calculate on human terms, he believed God’s promise instead. Using your spiritual eye involves believing in the omnipotence of God. He can do anything and nothing is impossible to Him. It is amazing to me that some Christians sing about how "God makes a way where there seems to be no way" and that "He holds the whole world in His hand" and yet they put limitations on Him. They believe that God can do certain things and not some other things. Friend, guard your heart and mind from going by what you see. You have to have the courage to look the other way when doubts and emotions want to set in. The devil knows how to bring something to your attention to trouble your peace but you have to keep confessing God’s truth. It takes a consistent Christian to live a life of victory. It takes constant efforts and resistance against the physical eyes to be victorious. Do not let the pressure, emotions and fear shake you up and move your faith; when challenges come remember that God is faithful. He will do for you what he has done for others and everything is done before, He can do well and He is able to do again. He’s been raising sons and daughters for years. I assure you that your situation is not a new one. He dealt with it before. He knows how to fix it. Keep your eyes on Him.

Friend, Peter knew how not to see with his physical eye. He was able to sleep like a baby the night before his scheduled execution. He remembered Christ promise concerning his old age and he held on to it in prison. Everything in the natural pointed to his imminent demise but he held on to the spiritual. Whatever you going through right now (sickness, disease, pain, lack, loneliness, rejection) I urge you to go to the promise and the revelation of the word of God just like Abraham and Peter you will experience your breakthrough and receive your miracle. Friend, if you can train yourself to use your spiritual eye you would move mountains. You would have a life without fear and limitations.

Father How grateful I am for who you are! You are a Father who keeps His word. You are faithful. Help me use my spiritual eye so I can trust you through my good days and the challenging ones. I believe that all of your promises in the Bible belong to me. I am waiting patiently and excitedly to experience the breakthrough and your glory in Jesus holy name. Amen!

Praise the Lord!
