Fully Rely on God.........

He answered: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:27

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5

I don't believe that God is in the business of wasting time. Obviously, He created the universe in less than one week. I believe that God is purposeful and He says what He means and He means what He says. I also believe that every word of the Bible is God inspired. In the Old Testament and again in the New testament, God commanded us to love Him wholeheartedly. He initially said it, and then later Jesus reinforced it by repeating it.

Friend, God wants ownership of our hearts. He wants to dwell in our hearts. God does not wish to be our last love. He wants to be our first and greatest love and every time we do not put Him first, we are in disobedience. God did not suggest that we love him. He commanded us to do so. I know for certain that heartbreak follows each time someone or something takes precedence over God in my life. As recently as recently as this year I experienced multiple mishaps due to the fact that(unknowingly)I have put certain things ahead of God. I (unknowingly) started to see someone else as my source and it took me a moment and lot of unnecessary painful days to come to this realization. The Bible urges us to be vigilant. You and I must make sure that nothing is more important than God. We must give him His righteous place. He deserves it.

Friend, you must know by now that when we rely on others we get disappointed and we fall, but the more we claim GOD as our source and recognize that HIS abundance is ours, the sooner things work out for the best. My dear friend, wee constantly have to submit to the guidance of THE HOLY SPIRIT, and constantly affirm "not my will by thy will" GOD'S plan for us is perfect full of joy that translates into ecstasy. OUR FATHER is fine.Psalm 145:8 says that the LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. Remember that the first sin entered the world was when mankind separated himself from God by doing something forbidden and from that sin all the others follow.

Constant sadness, envy, fear, doubt, loss of enthusiasm, diminished hope, insecurities, hopelessness and lack of confidence are signs that we have taken our minds off of GOD. None of those can inhabit a heart in which God resides because God is love, joy, peace and abundance. An overflowing Heart can not experience loneliness and feeling of inadequacy. It is imperative that you and I keep our hearts and mind fix on God. Listen, the Bible says in James 1:17 that Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. it is great that God bless us with companionship and some treasures but nothing should replace God.

Friend, focus your mind, heart and spirit on OUR FATHER, pray that HIS will be done and submit to it completely and all things will be added....

Praise the Lord!

My Awesome God!

I will sing of the LORD's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. Psalm 89:1

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. Psalm 59:16

Do I truly believe that God loves ME and has a plan for ME? Absolutely. There is no doubt in my mind that the living God David experienced and wrote about is real. He is my Creator. He loves me and he has a (good) plan for my life. I live by it and will be willing to die for it. There is no way that God does not love me and there is no way anyone can make me believe that my existence is meaningless. Despite my many heartbreaks, losses, sickness, pain and setbacks God has been faithful. He loves me and He loves you.

How do I know God loves us?

He says it Himself.
Jeremiah 31:3: The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness."

He demonstrated His love
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
1 John 4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Friend, I don't wrestle with truth. The Lord says it, that settles it. I accept God's truth. Even if it was not written anywhere I would still know of his love because I experience it in my own life daily. There isn't a day that goes by without the revelation of God's love in my life. The older I get, the more alert I am in recognizing His love. I would take me a few hours to talk about all of the wrong in my life but I could talk about God's love forever.

1 John 5:13 "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." When it all said and done, victory is yours. Time on this earth is not long even if you and I live to be 120 years it is still nothing compare to eternity. You and I will get to spend eternity with God. You should be encouraged right now. Sickness, disease, pain, lack, loneliness, loss, rejection, humiliation are all going to end. They will not last forever. God's love makes it possible. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

You may be discouraged right now because the challenges are many and they are great but you know in your heart that God loves you. Examine your life and be honest with yourself and you will see that everything that you have gone through has prepared you for this season of your life. You may not understand it but you know it is going to work out for your good. Friend, you have a purpose to fulfill and a dream to follow. Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are facing, God knows. He cares and He loves you.

Father how grateful I am for your unconditional love! You are a good father who only wants the best for me. Thank you for the comfort of your Word. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ, your son, to die for me. Thank you for the assurance of eternal life. I praise you father God. I honor you and I give you glory for only you are worthy. Only you are Holy, and only you are God.

Praise the Lord!

Trust that God Provides!

And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
Matthew 6:30

The difference between mankind and all of God's creation is obviously the connection with God. He ordered everything to existence (Gen 1:11), yet with man He made his body from the dust of the earth, but his spirit and soul were immediately from his Creator, "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" (Gen. 2:7). The very essence of who we are is part God. He breathed part of Himself into us, the part that gives life because He is the God of the living. He promotes life and not death. "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. God is not the God of the dead, but of the living" (Matthew 22:32). The God who gives us life also knows how to preserves it while we are here on earth. God is not a father who worries about our soul alone, but of the body also. That fact is made clear in the above scripture. Our creator made 2 interesting points in Matthew 6:25-34. First, he made sure that we know our place in the order of creation (we are number 1-He cares for us way more), and second, He promised to take care of all of our needs.

So why do Christians worry? My favorite preacher's most quoted verse answer the question perfectly; "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" Hosea 4:6. They don't know God because He reveals Himself in His Word and unfortunately they don't read the word. There are some professing Christians who say that faith is a supernatural principle, a Divine gift from God; therefore, it is not their fault that they are still struggling with faith. They claim that it is outside their power and province to do anything in order to obtain an increase of it. Consequently they go through an entire life continuously defeated and never experience the victorious power of the Word of God. Such passive way of life is in no way honoring or pleasing to God. The Bible tells us that the way to get more faith is to put to work the measure which we already have and to use the means God has appointed. (HIS WORD). Your duty is to read daily God's Word, to meditate thereon, and lay the Divine promises on our hearts, to urge our souls to believe, to strive and fight against doubts and distrust. Have you ever noticed how some people never get to read the Bible with us during church services? It doesn't matter how long the chapter, some people will take the entire time flipping through pages, disturbing those of us who are reading because they don't know where anything is. They are not familiar with any of the books for the simple fact that they don't read. If you want to please any one, you need to know their like and dislike, you have to spend time with them. A relationship with God is no less important. You must play your part. You must seek Him and He will embrace you.

The Christian must fight against evil thoughts of lack and complaints and must hold on the Divine promises of God and assure himself (constantly) that the "Lord will provide".

Get familiar with God by reading His word and you will never have to be anxious another day of your life.

Praise the Lord!
