Protection In My Father's Arms

LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. Psalm 16:5

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident. Psalm 27:3

I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Psalm 27:13

There is protection in our Father's arms. Nothing can harm us against God's will. In fact, God planned every step you would take and every breath you would take before you were formed in the womb. Ever string of hair on your head is placed by design. Satan's desire to destroy you is nothing to God. He does not worry about it. God is never taken by surprise and He knew what problems you would have to face before you were born. He knows the beginning and the end because He is Omnipresent. In the book of Job, Satan needed permission from God before he attempted to harm Job. Listen, God has the authority over all creation and all that is within creation. He is the Creator. God is able and willing to protect those who are His own. Until you have finished the race, there is no power in heaven or earth that can take you out of this life and away from your Father's arms. Though you will not know when you finish the race, you know that God does and you can trust Him. you are safe in His arms.

The promise of keeping us safe is a promise you can rely on. In fact, you can rely on all of God's promises. He loves you. He can't lie. It is against His nature to tie. He is the truth. My friend when trouble comes your way, you can trust that your heavenly Father will bring you out safely. You will not die but you will live for His glory. Amen. Nothing should scare you, and definitely not sickness, disease, pain and lack. God has it all under control. He is the giver of life. He can repair you or He can build you all new. You are never too broken to be fixed. There is nothing that He cannot do. I don't care what you see, what the doctors say and what it looks like. You can trust God. This period of your life is for His glory. You can totally, peacefully and joyously rest in your Father's arms. He will not drop you and He will not let anything snatch you away and that is for sure. You can have joy through this pain. He is able!

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy. Jude 1:24

Safety Oh Lord............

Psalm 16

Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge.

2 I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.”
3 I say of the holy people who are in the land,
“They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more.
I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
or take up their names on my lips.

5 LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
nor will you let your faithful[b] one see decay.
11 You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Praise the Lord!

God is Enough!

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

In the midst of trials it is almost impossible to see the hand of God, but He is always present. You may not have any one else to stand by you but God is enough. He is the Almighty. He is able and willing to be all that you need. He is your healer. He is your provider and He is your joy, peace, and victory. God can restore like no other and He can create from scratch. You have everything when you have God. He can do for you in an instant what no one else can do in a lifetime. Why do people complain so much about being alone? Because the majority of Christians don't know God in all of His magnificence and sufficiency. They want God plus something else. They forget that He is The Alpha and the Omega. Friends who is better off, a person who has God and wealth, and who is in great health or a person who has God alone and who is in poor health? Friend, they are both equally well off. They both have God. Rather wealthy and healthy, in poor health and in great needs, When you have God, you have it all. Listen, God owns it all. He is the giver of all things good. He is the maker of heaven and earth. He is your creator. He can do all things and He is all things.

My dear friend be grateful, happy, satisfied and fulfilled with God. Truly He is all that you need. He is enough and nothing else is better. God should come first in your life. He does not want anything in your life to be more important than Him. Sure you don't have any one in your life to show you love but you have God and He is enough. You maybe in poor health but God send Christ and by His stripes you were healed. You were made whole. There is no need to complain anymore because greater is He who that is in you and with you. He is the way, the truth and the life, and when you have Him, you have it all. He is enough.

Friend, do not allow the devil to trick you into being unhappy with God and His plan for your life. He is a good Father who is able and willing to do exceedingly and abundantly for you. If you don't know God yet, don't worry. You can meet Him right now by inviting Jesus Christ His son into your life. He will not turn you away. He would love to welcome you into the family. He would love to be all that you need.

Let us pray: Father how grateful I am for you unconditional love. I realize that through the ages, you have been faithful. Thank you for sending your son to save me. I receive Him into my life as Lord. I submit and commit my life into His Kingship now and forever. It is in His name I pray. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

God is Faithful #2

Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. Lamentation 3:23

He is “a faithful God.” Deuteronomy 32:4

“And God is faithful.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

“He is faithful.” 1 John 1:9

“Your faithfulness surrounds you.” Psalm 89:8

We live in a world of broken promises. People don't mean what they say and they don't say what they mean. When they do say something they are going to do, they do not deliver on the promise. That is one of the reasons why there are so many active wars around the world. I have some great people in my life but neither one has been fully reliable at all times. The only One I know know who has been reliably persistent, consistently dependable, good and faithful to me is God. I am not trying to insult the people in my life. I am simply expressing a fact. They all have failed me one way or another because they are not perfect. The truth is I expected people to be dependable when I was younger. I used to require it or else I will cut people out of my life. It never occurred to me that I was asking for the impossible. I was asking for something I couldn't offer. Friend no matter what people say or do, they are not perfect. Despite good intentions they will let you down. I assure you.

In John 14:6 Jesus Christ said, “I am the truth.” and later on in John 18:37 he told Pilate, “I came into the world, to testify to the truth." Friend, because He is the truth, You can count on Him. You can be assured that He will do all that He says He would do. Listen, God will not fail you because He cannot fail, change, forget or disappoint. The only person you know who can meet every qualification is God himself. He alone is 100% faithful all the time. You can place your trust in others who undoubtedly will fail you or you can choose to trust the only One who cannot let you down. It is against His nature to lie. He is the truth.

Friend, if there was ever a time to rely on God it is now. The world is in chaos.The stock market keep taking in dive. The economy is not improving. People are dying of hunger all around us and there are many active wars all over the globe. Jesus Christ is the only shield.Thrust Him. He is faithful. Have you ever accepted Him as your personal Savior and trusted him as your Lord? I can assure you that inviting Christ into your heart is the single most important decision you could ever make. Dear friend, I am asking you to rely and trust the only trustworthy person I know.

And Father how grateful I am for your love! I am in awe of you. You are a faithful Father. Thank you for never let me down. Thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to save me. It is in His holy name that I pray. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

My Help In Every Situation...............

My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

In the day that I called you, you answered me, and you have increased the strength of my soul. Psalm 138:3

When I was growing up, my mother used to say that God was her own personal God. She knew He loves humanity but they had such personal relationship that she really believed that God only loved her. My mother only referred to God as "My God" In every prayer. Her relationship with God is something she treasured. It is amazing how many times and in how many ways God gets me out of situations that my disobedience or ignorance had created. God is good and faithful. He is slow in anger and abounding in love. When you place your trust and your hope in Him you can be certain that you will come out victorious. As recent as this morning, God came through for me in a big way. I was having a serious problem and nobody offered help.Granted,I did not ask anyone, but I knew God would open a door and surely enough He did. He manifested His might in a way I could not foresee. The more I trust God, the more He shows His glory. My friend it is true that God is able to do exceedingly and beyond what you can think. God is able.

Listen, the immature Christian that I used to be would worry about the issue that I had to deal with last night. I would have rallied the troops. I would have called a family meeting or conference call. I would have asked for help and I would be disappointed and discouraged and I would most likely stayed up all night before deciding to tell God about it. But I have learned to trust Him. I have finally learned to talk to Him first and now I am reaping the harvest of our relationship. Giving God first place in our lives means we live, follow, and obey His will concerning every situation we face. When we do that, we give permission to operate in our situations. There is nothing sweeter than the fruit of answered prayer. God honors faith. He is faithful! My dear friend, have you committed yourself to walking in fellowship with God through life? Because this is where the Christian life must begin. Like my mother, you must be aware that "God is my God." You must be committed to the relationship. You must be on fire/Gung-Ho/enthusiastic when it comes to living for the glory of God. He will reward your dedication and devotion. God will not take you for granted.

God promises grace to help us in time of trouble and He will deliver on his promises. My need last night and this morning was material but often times our needs are not material and they are rather pressing. In times of great needs it is easy to be discouraged and there is always the temptation to despair, bitterness, and depression, but it is in the midst of our trouble that God shows Himself. Glory! It is during the times when no one seems to care, and when we at the end of our rope and that God will hear and meet us in our needs and that is why a relationship with God is so fulfilling. He always near. He always willing to help. He cares.

My friend, you must learn that God is your help for every need. No matter the stress (spiritual, emotional, financial, physical), and no matter how tremendous/overwhelming the pressures may be to keep maintain the faith,the Lord will meet all your needs that is His promise to you. God really cares. Try Him. You will not be deceived. Invite God in your daily routine and you will soon experience the difference. You will worry less. You will speak less. You will sleep better. You will rest easy knowing that your help never fail. Your help is mighty . Your help is able! Psalm 34:8 says, Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

And Father I thank you for being all that I ever need. In Jesus name my Lord I pray. Amen.
Praise the Lord!

He Deserves Praise & Worship...........

Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Psalm 145:2

"Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. Daniel 2:20

From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother's womb. I will ever praise you. Psalm 71:6

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

Believers love God because He publicly demonstrated His love for them by sending His son Jesus Christ to die for them. His great desire was to renew His relationship with His people and because they have been redeemed by Christ, those who believe can have an intimate and forever secured relationship with The creator and that is enough to be grateful and it is worth a lifetime of praise.
“I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” (I Timothy 2:8)

Friend, there are many ways to praise God and it does not really matter how you praise God. He clearly deserves our praise because He is worthy to be praised. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods" (Psalm 96:4). God inhabits the atmosphere of praise. Psalm 22:3 says, But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel. And when we praise God, we are actually reminding ourselves that Of His goodness, mercy, grace and power. When we praise God, we are actually using the most powerful weapon against the enemy and his kingdom of darkness. In addition, when we praise God, our faith gets strengthened and we know that is faith that moves the hand of God and nothing else. Hebrews 10:38 says "The just shall live by faith." Praise and worship establish in us God's undefeated power, authority, anointing,and changes our circumstances. Our praise set in motion a circle of power, faith and victory. Praising God benefits us.

Friend, everything that God commands us to do is for our own benefit. He is that good of a Father. He loves us unconditionally. We were created to love and worship our God, for our benefit, not His own. Worship is not singing at church for a few minutes or singing in the morning and before bed. Praising God is a lifestyle. You can praise God by the way you carry yourself and by the way you treat your body that is His temple. "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship." Romans 12:1

When you treat another with respect and kindness you are also worship God. When you teach a child the way of the Lord you are praising God. He commands us to do so. Obeying God's instructions is worshiping God. When you do every and all the things God created you to do, that is worship to Him as well. People think that being a Christian is boring because some Christians cried when they are praising God. I don't know about others but I weep each and every time I think of God's goodness and His faithfulness. It is impossible not to do so when I think of my upbringing and my rebellious years. There is no way I should still be standing but God, (Allelujah!) God has been good. I know that God wants me to be happy and I am happy. My tears are tears of gratitude and overwhelming joy.

Friend, God wants you to enjoy your life. I believe the word He uses is "abundant" life. Playing, having fun with your family is God's will. He finds pleasure in your joy because your joy glorifies Him. He created the world and everything in it for your satisfaction and in return He asks for your praise. Is that too much for you to handle? My dear friend acknowledging that God is the One who is your provider,your victory, your healer, your fortress, your rock, your strength, your hope, your joy, and the giver of all that is good, and thanking Him for it, and praising Him for it and by doing so brings His blessings and favor upon your own life abundantly shouldn't be hard. It is a win/win situation. When you praise and worship God you win.

I don't know about you but I like to please those I love. God enjoys our praises. He wants to be worshiped and He deserves it for who He is and all He has done. I choose to praise and worship Him with my words, deeds, thoughts and body for as long as I shall live. Would you do the same?

Father how grateful I am for who you are! You are my healer, my provider, my joy and my all in all. I give you glory as you only deserve. You are holy and worthy forever. I honor you in Jesus holy name. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 44

1 We have heard it with our ears, O God;
our ancestors have told us
what you did in their days,
in days long ago.
2 With your hand you drove out the nations
and planted our ancestors;
you crushed the peoples
and made our ancestors flourish.
3 It was not by their sword that they won the land,
nor did their arm bring them victory;
it was your right hand, your arm,
and the light of your face, for you loved them.

4 You are my King and my God,
who decrees[c] victories for Jacob.
5 Through you we push back our enemies;
through your name we trample our foes.
6 I put no trust in my bow,
my sword does not bring me victory;
7 but you give us victory over our enemies,
you put our adversaries to shame.
8 In God we make our boast all day long,
and we will praise your name forever.[d]

9 But now you have rejected and humbled us;
you no longer go out with our armies.
10 You made us retreat before the enemy,
and our adversaries have plundered us.
11 You gave us up to be devoured like sheep
and have scattered us among the nations.
12 You sold your people for a pittance,
gaining nothing from their sale.

13 You have made us a reproach to our neighbors,
the scorn and derision of those around us.
14 You have made us a byword among the nations;
the peoples shake their heads at us.
15 I live in disgrace all day long,
and my face is covered with shame
16 at the taunts of those who reproach and revile me,
because of the enemy, who is bent on revenge.

17 All this came upon us,
though we had not forgotten you;
we had not been false to your covenant.
18 Our hearts had not turned back;
our feet had not strayed from your path.
19 But you crushed us and made us a haunt for jackals;
you covered us over with deep darkness.

20 If we had forgotten the name of our God
or spread out our hands to a foreign god,
21 would not God have discovered it,
since he knows the secrets of the heart?
22 Yet for your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.

23 Awake, Lord! Why do you sleep?
Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever.
24 Why do you hide your face
and forget our misery and oppression?

25 We are brought down to the dust;
our bodies cling to the ground.
26 Rise up and help us;
rescue us because of your unfailing love.

Praise the Lord!

Give Thanks to the Lord...

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness;come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16‑18

The Lord clearly have blessed us, His people and it is His Will for us to be thankful. Thanksgiving should not just be observed on one day of the year, but every day of our life. God deserves praise every day. What does this mean? It means no matter what we are facing, God loves us and He is still with us. He can be trusted. Romans 8:28: "For we know that all things work together for the good of them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." So my friend, giving thanks to and loving God go hand in hand. God deserves praise every day not only for all He already done for us but also for who He is. Personally, one thing I really like about God is His faithfulness. I can count on God today. He can do for me all of the things He has done for others in the past and the Bible says that God will never change.

The Bible also says that we should be grateful for His love because He loves so much that He sent his son to die for our salvation. "His love endures forever." That means God will keep loving you and I forever and ever. He will continue to love us no matter what we do. Frankly, I don't even understand that kind of love but I know it to be true. I have experience God's love personally. On this Thanksgiving day, I would like to invite you to begin a relationship with Christ if you haven't done so already. I want to invite to reaffirm your faith and recommit to God if you already know Him. God really loves you. Friend, give God thanks for who He is. Give thanks in all circumstances. Give thanks for everything. Give thanks at all times.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 104

1 Praise the LORD, my soul.

LORD my God, you are very great;
you are clothed with splendor and majesty.

2 The LORD wraps himself in light as with a garment;
he stretches out the heavens like a tent
3 and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters.
He makes the clouds his chariot
and rides on the wings of the wind.
4 He makes winds his messengers,[a]
flames of fire his servants.

5 He set the earth on its foundations;
it can never be moved.
6 You covered it with the watery depths as with a garment;
the waters stood above the mountains.
7 But at your rebuke the waters fled,
at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;
8 they flowed over the mountains,
they went down into the valleys,
to the place you assigned for them.
9 You set a boundary they cannot cross;
never again will they cover the earth.

10 He makes springs pour water into the ravines;
it flows between the mountains.
11 They give water to all the beasts of the field;
the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
12 The birds of the sky nest by the waters;
they sing among the branches.
13 He waters the mountains from his upper chambers;
the land is satisfied by the fruit of his work.
14 He makes grass grow for the cattle,
and plants for people to cultivate—
bringing forth food from the earth:
15 wine that gladdens human hearts,
oil to make their faces shine,
and bread that sustains their hearts.
16 The trees of the LORD are well watered,
the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.
17 There the birds make their nests;
the stork has its home in the junipers.
18 The high mountains belong to the wild goats;
the crags are a refuge for the hyrax.

19 He made the moon to mark the seasons,
and the sun knows when to go down.
20 You bring darkness, it becomes night,
and all the beasts of the forest prowl.
21 The lions roar for their prey
and seek their food from God.
22 The sun rises, and they steal away;
they return and lie down in their dens.
23 Then people go out to their work,
to their labor until evening.

24 How many are your works, LORD!
In wisdom you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures.
25 There is the sea, vast and spacious,
teeming with creatures beyond number—
living things both large and small.
26 There the ships go to and fro,
and Leviathan, which you formed to frolic there.

27 All creatures look to you
to give them their food at the proper time.
28 When you give it to them,
they gather it up;
when you open your hand,
they are satisfied with good things.
29 When you hide your face,
they are terrified;
when you take away their breath,
they die and return to the dust.
30 When you send your Spirit,
they are created,
and you renew the face of the ground.

31 May the glory of the LORD endure forever;
may the LORD rejoice in his works—
32 he who looks at the earth, and it trembles,
who touches the mountains, and they smoke.

33 I will sing to the LORD all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
34 May my meditation be pleasing to him,
as I rejoice in the LORD.
35 But may sinners vanish from the earth
and the wicked be no more.

Praise the LORD, my soul.

Praise the LORD.

Psalm 134

A song of ascents.

1 Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD
who minister by night in the house of the LORD.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary
and praise the LORD.

3 May the LORD bless you from Zion,
he who is the Maker of heaven and earth.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 103

1 Praise the LORD, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.

7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.

19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.

20 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the LORD, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.

Praise the LORD, my soul.

15 but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea;
His love endures forever.

16 to him who led his people through the wilderness;
His love endures forever.

17 to him who struck down great kings,
His love endures forever.
18 and killed mighty kings—
His love endures forever.
19 Sihon king of the Amorites
His love endures forever.
20 and Og king of Bashan—
His love endures forever.
21 and gave their land as an inheritance,
His love endures forever.
22 an inheritance to his servant Israel.
His love endures forever.

23 He remembered us in our low estate
His love endures forever.
24 and freed us from our enemies.
His love endures forever.
25 He gives food to every creature.
His love endures forever.

26 Give thanks to the God of heaven.
His love endures forever.

God Knows Better Than You and I

"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. Isaiah 55:8

"Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole
heart." Psalm 119:2

For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their craftiness," and again, "The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile." 1 Corinthians 3:19-20

When I lost everything a few years ago and found out that I had to move back in with my dad, I was devastated. I thought my life was over. For years I repeated that moving back home made the top five of the worst things that could ever happen to me. I tried everything not to go back, but God loves me too much to have let me missed out on the opportunity that would come with living at my father's house again. Looking back now, it was the best time ever. I got to know my father and I rediscovered God's mercy and goodness. The experience also brought me humility (something I desperately needed) as well as compassion for those in needs. God certainly knew best. Abraham and his wife conceived a son in their old age when everyone thought it would be impossible but God knew best. He later thought he would have to sacrifice his son, but God knew best. The king thought Daniel would die in the Lion's den but God knew best. I cannot wait to experience and witness what miracles God has in store for you and I. He certainly knows best.

People seem to forget that Christianity is a lifestyle. We must live according to God's instructions. Have you ever thought that if you lived according to God's laws that you were going to somehow miss out on fun? Truth is if you don't live according to God's laws you're going to miss out on something greater that fun! God's laws are for your well-being. God wants you to live the abundant life. You may not understand His plan but you can trust Him. God loves you. Every time God says "Thou shalt not," God is only saying, " Hey watch out! Don't hurt yourself. " And every time God says, "Thou shalt," God is saying, " Hey enjoy! Help yourself to happiness." God has a good plan for your life. Would you please trust Him?

Friend, you can rest easy. God is watching over you. This situation you are facing will soon be resolved. Trust that God knows better than you, rely on His might and live a life of peace.

Father how grateful I am for your love! Thank you for allowing me to know you for who you are. You are a good father who only wants good for me. Help me trust you more and more each day. In Jesus holy name I pray. Amen.

Where is God?

Where is God when it hurts?

Do not be afraid or terrified; be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:2).

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Jesus experienced pain as well. Even though He was about to raise His friend Lazarus from the grave, the Bible reported that He cried. (John 11:35). He feels your loss too because He loves you so much. Jesus sadness was apparent the night before His arrest, He begged His father to change the future, only if God was willing. He knew what the future holds and yet He had the courage to fulfill His mission. (Praise God!). He had the courage to face the tough times. He will also give you courage when you are going through difficulties.

Where is God when it hurts? Right next to you sometimes; and other times holding your hands, cheering you on, comforting you and whispering to your hears "do not fear, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10). Jesus is the Prince of Peace and when you invite Him in, He come along with His peace.

To be courageous is not just good advice, it is a command, and to not being courageous is to be disobedient to God. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, do not be terrified; do not be discouraged for I will be wit you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9). "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us," Paul said "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:37–39).

Friend, there's no greater joy and peace then to surrender your being to the Lord and trust that is more than capable of taking care of you. Surely His arm is not too short to save nor His ear too dull to hear (Isaiah 59:1). Just put your trust in Him and go to Him with all of troubles. In pain, grief and love, God is always near. In our dark and lonely moments we may not have a complete understanding and we may not answers to the questions of suffering, but we can surrender ourselves into the hands of the one who made us, the one who does have the answers, and who will faithfully walk with us and lead us through the dark valley.

Be courageous, be fortified, and be blessed in Jesus name.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 13

1 How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?

3 Look on me and answer, LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the LORD’s praise,
for he has been good to me.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 11

Psalm 11
For the director of music. Of David.

1 In the LORD I take refuge.
How then can you say to me:
“Flee like a bird to your mountain.
2 For look, the wicked bend their bows;
they set their arrows against the strings
to shoot from the shadows
at the upright in heart.
3 When the foundations are being destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”

4 The LORD is in his holy temple;
the LORD is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
his eyes examine them.
5 The LORD examines the righteous,
but the wicked, those who love violence,
he hates with a passion.
6 On the wicked he will rain
fiery coals and burning sulfur;
a scorching wind will be their lot.

7 For the LORD is righteous,
he loves justice;
the upright will see his face.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 10

Psalm 10[a] Why, LORD, do you stand far off?
Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

2 In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak,
who are caught in the schemes he devises.
3 He boasts about the cravings of his heart;
he blesses the greedy and reviles the LORD.
4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek him;
in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
5 His ways are always prosperous;
your laws are rejected by[b] him;
he sneers at all his enemies.
6 He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.”
He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.”

7 His mouth is full of lies and threats;
trouble and evil are under his tongue.
8 He lies in wait near the villages;
from ambush he murders the innocent.
His eyes watch in secret for his victims;
9 like a lion in cover he lies in wait.
He lies in wait to catch the helpless;
he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.
10 His victims are crushed, they collapse;
they fall under his strength.
11 He says to himself, “God will never notice;
he covers his face and never sees.”

12 Arise, LORD! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless.
13 Why does the wicked man revile God?
Why does he say to himself,
“He won’t call me to account”?
14 But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted;
you consider their grief and take it in hand.
The victims commit themselves to you;
you are the helper of the fatherless.
15 Break the arm of the wicked man;
call the evildoer to account for his wickedness
that would not otherwise be found out.

16 The LORD is King for ever and ever;
the nations will perish from his land.
17 You, LORD, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
18 defending the fatherless and the oppressed,
so that mere earthly mortals

Your Wisdom God.........

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. James 3:17

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

The word “wisdom” can be defined with the words, “know how.” Wisdom and knowledge usually go hand in the new Testaments: Luke 1:17; Romans 11:33; 1 Corinthians 1:24; 2:5; Colossians 2:3; Revelation 5:12; 7:12 and Even in the book of Jeremiah in the Old testament.

God is omniscient, meaning He knows everything about everything. He knows how everything starts and how everything will end. He has knowledge and wisdom. Therefore, God can do it all. He knows how to prevent and change things. The wisdom of God allow Him to formulate a carry plan in the most accurate manner. That is why it is vital to consult God before making any decision. Deuteronmy 34:9 says that Joshua was given wisdom to succeed Moses in leading God's people out of bondage in Egypt. Who can forget Solomon? The word of God in 2 Chronicles 1:7-12 says that Solomon asked for and received the wisdom and knowledge he needed to rule Israel.

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. James 1:5

Wisdom comes from God and has He says in the above scripture, God gives generously when asked. Friend, wisdom is both the power to see and the ability to choose wisely. the best and highest goal, together with the surest means of attaining it. Wisdom is finding the fullness of God that can be found in His word because God and God alone is divinely and naturally forever knowledgeable and wise.

Friend, when conflicted and you don't know which way to turn and what decision to make, turn to God. Ask Him for His wisdom and He will surely give it to you in abundance as promised. God is a covenant God. He will honor all His promises. You can rely on God now and always. He is all-knowing and infinitely good. He loves you. Invite Him in all your endeavors and you will have success. God does not want to see you go in circle. He wants to guide you. He wants to mentor you. Why do you think He sent His Word: Jesus Christ? Why do you think He provides you with the love letter: The Bible? He wants to be part of your life. God wants to be everything you need him to be. Receive His son Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Meditate on the Word of God continuously, trust him with every situation and be blesssed!

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 9

1 I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.

3 My enemies turn back;
they stumble and perish before you.
4 For you have upheld my right and my cause,
sitting enthroned as the righteous judge.
5 You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name for ever and ever.
6 Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies,
you have uprooted their cities;
even the memory of them has perished.

7 The LORD reigns forever;
he has established his throne for judgment.
8 He rules the world in righteousness
and judges the peoples with equity.
9 The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble.
10 Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

11 Sing the praises of the LORD, enthroned in Zion;
proclaim among the nations what he has done.
12 For he who avenges blood remembers;
he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.

13 LORD, see how my enemies persecute me!
Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death,
14 that I may declare your praises
in the gates of Daughter Zion,
and there rejoice in your salvation.

15 The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug;
their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.
16 The LORD is known by his acts of justice;
the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.[c]
17 The wicked go down to the realm of the dead,
all the nations that forget God.
18 But God will never forget the needy;
the hope of the afflicted will never perish.

19 Arise, LORD, do not let mortals triumph;
let the nations be judged in your presence.
20 Strike them with terror, LORD;
let the nations know they are only mortal.

Praise the Lord!

My Savior, My Lord and My Friend......

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. John 15:15

There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (I Timothy 2:5-6)

The word of God in John 15: 13 says, “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." Do you have a friend? Are you searching for someone who will alwways be there for you? Are you searching for someone who will never let you down? Like any relationship, True friendship involves commitment and trust. True friendship requires time together. You have to be willing to spend time in the word. You cannot know the heart of Christ unless you spend time with Him in prayer and by reading His word. He is a friend who heals. He brings joy and salvation.

Friend, if you do not know Jesus yet, why don’t you talk to Him now? He is waiting for you. He loves you. You can tell Him anyting. Ask him to forgive and save you and He will. He died just for you. He alone can be all that you desire: Savior, Lord and Friend.

Father how grateful I am for your love! You are a good Father. You love me so much that you send your son to die for me. He is my one true friend. I am no longer lonely. I found all that i need in Him. He is my Savior, my Lord and my friend. I praise you and honor you in His holy name. Amen.

Psalm 8

Psalm 8
1 LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
in the heavens.
2 Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?[c]

5 You have made them[d] a little lower than the angels[e]
and crowned them[f] with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their[g] feet:
7 all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
8 the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.

9 LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

God Reigns!

He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. Psalms 47:3

God reigns above the nations, sitting on his holy throne. Psalm 47:8

Our God really cares about what’s going on in the world and in our lives today. The circumstances we face have harden our hearts and consequently keep us from understanding exactly how deep God love to humanity really is. God knows all about what is happening and He promised to make it all right one day. You and I have the assurance that trouble will not last always. We should rejoive. Our God reigns and He cares. You and I must remember that we are in this world but we are not of this world. . we're going to have the opportunity to be raised from the and it should give us joy and confidence. confidence. we do have the promise of better days ahead. We have to set our eyes on the greater reward: Eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

My friend no matter what you are facing today, don't you be discouraged. Our God reigns and He is able to do far better things than we can imagine. He is able and willing to exceed our expectations. We hope for better financial situation. We hope for a better job. We hope for better health, better protection for our children, caring and god-fearing government, those are great hopes and our Father is able to provide it all, but is the hope of the resurrection that should thrill us. it is the assurance that we're going to rise from the grave, and we're going to stand in the kingdom of God along with Jesus Christ that we should focus on.

Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]--Ephesians 3:20

Psalm 7

Psalm 7

1 LORD my God, I take refuge in you;
save and deliver me from all who pursue me,
2 or they will tear me apart like a lion
and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.

3 LORD my God, if I have done this
and there is guilt on my hands—
4 if I have repaid my ally with evil
or without cause have robbed my foe—
5 then let my enemy pursue and overtake me;
let him trample my life to the ground
and make me sleep in the dust.[c]

6 Arise, LORD, in your anger;
rise up against the rage of my enemies.
Awake, my God; decree justice.
7 Let the assembled peoples gather around you,
while you sit enthroned over them on high.
8 Let the LORD judge the peoples.
Vindicate me, LORD, according to my righteousness,
according to my integrity, O Most High.
9 Bring to an end the violence of the wicked
and make the righteous secure—
you, the righteous God
who probes minds and hearts.

10 My shield[d] is God Most High,
who saves the upright in heart.
11 God is a righteous judge,
a God who displays his wrath every day.
12 If he does not relent,
he[e] will sharpen his sword;
he will bend and string his bow.
13 He has prepared his deadly weapons;
he makes ready his flaming arrows.

14 Whoever is pregnant with evil
conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment.
15 Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out
falls into the pit they have made.
16 The trouble they cause recoils on them;
their violence comes down on their own heads.

17 I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness;
I will sing the praises of the name of the LORD Most High.

Thank You Lord!

Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:13

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

There is always a reason to give thanks to the Lord. It is so easy to see what we don't have and yet we are blinded when it comes to noticing our blessings. During the times when I lived in my father's shed, I once woke up in the middle of the night crying and feeling sorry for myself. It was during a week that was particularly tough, but the day before I received two letters, one was another rejection for a job I was by all accounts qualify for and the other was a notice that my car was going to be taken away. There I was an adult sleeping in my father' shed, I was job less and soon to be car less.

Why me? Why was I the only one suffering? Why can't my life be the way I envisioned it and the way I prepared it to be? I have asked the same questions all nights until I fell asleep. God is so good! He woke me up and show me how blessed I was even in the midst of my job situation. I had a father who cares enough and invited me to his house. I was healthy, educated and I was fed daily, but beyond that, I thought I knew my father but it wasn't until my time in the shed that I really got to know him. In as much as I loved my mother and remembered everything about her, I have always wondered if I really knew her. What a privilege and a blessing to really know my father for the man that he is!

We often get caught up in what we want and we miss out on what we already have. What I have learned during my time of great needs is that God is good no matter what happens in my life. God is and will always remain a good father. He loves me so much that He sent His son Jesus Christ to die just for my salvation and now I have eternal life. lack may come. Famine may come. Sickness, disease, pain, humiliation and rejection may come but nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus and that is all that matters. "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2

Friend, when you receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior you become son/daughter of God. Your salvation is secured. It does not matter what happens from now on. You belong to God and that should be enough to give you joy and a thankful heart.

Thank you Father God for who you are. Thank you for opening my heart to your goodness. Thank you for loving me enough to send your son to die for my salvation. I will forever be grateful. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 4

Psalm 4

1 Answer me when I call to you,
my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;
have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

2 How long will you people turn my glory into shame?
How long will you love delusions and seek false gods[b]?[c]
3 Know that the LORD has set apart his faithful servant for himself;
the LORD hears when I call to him.

4 Tremble and[d] do not sin;
when you are on your beds,
search your hearts and be silent.
5 Offer the sacrifices of the righteous
and trust in the LORD.

6 Many, LORD, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?”
Let the light of your face shine on us.
7 Fill my heart with joy
when their grain and new wine abound.

8 In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, LORD,
make me dwell in safety.

Praise the Lord!

Be still.......

When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. Psalm 94:19

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

What does it mean to be still? The story of Elijah should really help us understand what it is to be still and let God. Elijah was discouraged and felt that God was not with him and he was left alone to do all this work. He decided to go to the mountains and waited for God. Then, there was an earthquake, a fire and a great wind, but surprisingly God was not in any of them. But then came “the sound of sheer silence.” And that’s when God spoke to Elijah.

Friend, in order to connect with God, you and I need that stillness. We need a time when we turn everything off and seek God quietly. You and I need to stop manipulating our circumstances and let God talk to us. If like me you get impatient easily then, you will miss out on communicating with God. You and I must learn to be still. As a teacher, I have learned that the greatest punishment is for my student to be still. They just can't do it.

When we are going through difficulties, we tend to want to overcome quickly without much enduring. As a result, we come up with our own solutions and ending up learning the same lesson time and again. We must learn to wait on God. Some challenges come to strengthen us. We must learn to wait on God's wisdom and guidance. To be still is to trust that God has our best interest in mind and He knows what He is doing. To be still is not passive. It is to wait with expectation. To be still is to know without a doubt that God is able and He will do what He says: He will be with you in times of trouble.

Father how grateful I am for your love and your patience! Teach me to wait on you Father. In Jesus holy name,I pray amen!

Praise the Lord!

More Than Conquerors....

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors (we will do even more than win!) through him who loved us. Romans 8:37

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

What does it mean to be a conqueror? It simply means that we can face anything the world has to throw at us (war can come, famine, depression, recession, illness, lack, rejection ect.). Friend listen, you just lost your job? You are more than a conqueror. The doctor just made his grim diagnosis? You are more than a conqueror. You have been rejected by love ones? You are more than a conqueror. Hard times ahead? You’re a conqueror. No matter what you see, hear, feel and whatever the enemy has thrown at you, you are a conqueror through Jesus Christ, the Lord. Victory is yours. When Christ said "It is finished" it was finished. There is nothing left to be done. The devil's work in the Garden of Eden was undone. You are now righteous and forgiven through Jesus Christ finished work at Calvary. Amen.

Listen, because of the cross, God will always be on your side. He wants you to succeed. God does not want you to be sick. It is definitely not God's will for you to be poor. His word says: "Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers." John 1:2 and "But thanks be to God! He always leads us triumphantly by the Messiah and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of knowing him." 2 Corinthians 2:14

Oh listen, if you are a believer, God is for you. No matter who you are. Regardless of what you have done or where you come from, God is for you. He is not against you. listen, you can be in the poorest country of the world right now, but God is for you. You maybe the most insignificant person in your family but God is for you. He loves you dearly. He wants you well in spite of where you may be in your walk with him. You maybe a new Christian, it does not make a difference. If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, you must know that God: Yahweh, Jehovah Rapha, Nissi, Elohim, Emmanuel, Adonai, the Lion of Judah, Emmanuel, Jesus the Christ, is for you. God is on your side. You are not alone on the battlefield of life. Allelujah! Listen, nothing can turn God against you. No mountains, no valley, no pain, no disease and listen up, no sin can keep you from the love of God. It is finished! Thank you Lord Jesus. I receive it. I accept it.

Listen, God has your back. He is walking with you through the foreclosure proceedings. God is with you as you are getting fired. He is with you at the doctor's office. He is going to be with you if you must go to the hospital, God is with you always. He is talking to you right now. Listen, if God is with you, who can dare be against you? Are you getting excited? You are more than a conqueror. Do you understand? He who is in you (came to live inside of you when you were saved) is greater than/has more power than ANY illness (yep! even Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer, Cancer of any kind, AIDS, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Migraine Headache, digestive ailments, loneliness, depression ect.). IT DOES NOT MATTER IF IT RUNS IN YOUR FAMILY. IT STOPS NOW. He who is in you is bigger than that financial and social situation. He will cause you to triumph. You are more than conqueror. You have victory in Jesus. Praise Him!

Friend, when you get a revelation of the truth about who God say you are in Christ you will walk just like Jesus walked on this earth, you would have a different attitude about life and your destiny. Circumstances would not define you. Jesus walked fearless and He exercised His authority humbly, and without arrogance or pride. You are the righteousness of God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus has authority that was given to Him by God the Father. Matthew 28:18 says "Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth." Through Him you also have dominion over sickness, disease, pain and lack. You have authority over your circumstances. You have victory over the job situation. You have victory over oppression. You have authority over hunger.

Listen, you have authority over your body. Start practicing your authority over little situations and move gradually. It does not matter if you are dealing with a big issue. He who is in you is BIGGER.....GREATER....He has more POWER! You can tell your body that it is going to be healed. You can tell your body that it is not going to yield to that doctor's diagnosis. It is not every time you feel something that you must look for that aspirin. Order your body to be well. Speak to you flesh to yield to holiness when tempted. Speak life over your children. Speak healing over your loved ones. Speak submission over that out of control child. You really have that much power through the blood sacrifice at Calvary. Jesus conquered death and now you too can have victory. You are more than a conqueror. Thank God for authority! Jesus walked this earth and always spoke with authority (not insolence and impertinence).

The truth is that you were destined to win. Truly you have stumbled along the way but God has not changed. He still loves you. You are not a conqueror through your own merit. You are more than a conqueror through Christ. A conqueror is a ruler. You can now rule over anything. Nothing should intimidate you. The truth is you don't even have to fight for anything. Nothing is hopeless. Jesus fought and won just for you. All that is left to do now is for you to embrace it. Remember that you are never alone. My prayer is that you will let the truth of Jesus Christ take roots in your heart and that you decide right now that you will never feel defeated another day of your life because the common enemy, Satan, has been defeated more than 2000 years ago. Through the blood of the Savior and Lord Jesus Christ you shall be more than conquerors. Amen.

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

I Walk by Faith.....

For we walk by faith [we [a]regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.2 Corinthians 5:7

Walking by faith and not by sight is a short and yet fully loaded description of what a real Christian's walk should be. The Bible says in Hebrews11:6 "Without faith it is impossible to please God." Romans 14:23 says "Whatever is not of faith is sin." Faith is major deal. God wants us to have Faith in Him. In order to have, the Christian must know what faith is. "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old received divine approval." (Hebrews 11:1-2) "Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith." (Habakkuk 2:4) My favorite scripture on faith has to be Psalm 127:1, "Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain." How many nights have I stayed up wondering what country I should move to and what city? What college to attend and what degree to pursue? Who to marry? What to wear? what to eat? I have learned in my walk that every time I move on my own and act in pride and impatience, I lose. I can't tell you how many times I have to go back to "point A" just because I did not want to walk by faith and because I wanted to make things happen for myself instead of waiting on God's providence.

"Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." How true and how relevant is this verse! Friend, the world says, "Seeing is believing." God says, "Believing is seeing." Who are you going to listen to? Walking by faith involves obeying God even when you do not understand and when you don't even feel like doing so. Living by faith involves accepting God's will even when it does not match your will and and plans. Walking by faith involves staying still when God seems silent. Walking by faith is thanking God before receiving. Walking by faith is accepting healing while still in pain. It involves calling yourself healed while the lump is still visible and while the doctor is saying nothing has changed. Walking in faith involves smiling when the bank send the last foreclosure notice. Faith is believing the promises of God, even when there is nothing to show for it and no reason to believe. Walking by faith is standing firm while some are laughing. Walking by faith is believing the word of God not matter what you see, no matter you hear and not matter what the doctor says. Faith means taking the next step in front of you and leaving the rest in the capable hands of God. Walking by faith can be hard on those who think that they can move the hand of God. In reality nothing but faith will move the hand of God. It is in acting in faith that we will see the glory of God.

He Provides.....

As the two walked on together, Isaac spoke to his father Abraham. "Father!" he said. "Yes, son," he replied. Isaac continued, "Here are the fire and the wood, but where is the sheep for the holocaust?" "Son," Abraham answered, "God himself will provide the sheep for the holocaust." Then the two continued going forward. Genesis 22:7-8

Friend, God does not see into the future. He knows it. Abraham trusted God to provide a lamb for the sacrifice, and just when he was about to kill his only son, God stepped in and offer a substitute. God is indeed our provider and we should trust Him to take care of all of our needs. I absolutely love the way God steps in my own life. Every time I think that it is over, every time I think that I am at the end of my rope, He releases another inch of his ever-long rope. "My son God will provide" was Abraham reply to Isaac and in due time God did provide, and then Abraham honored God by calling Him the provider.

God had provided for him in the time of his extremity, so He will provide for all of those that put their trust in Him. The God of Abraham is alive, and let His name be praised, and let us rest assured that, as certainly as Abraham, Jacob and Daniel in distress, the Lord appeared for them and was seen, God shall be with you and I when times of extreme pressure come. We shall all be tried and tested, but in our utmost need God will see to our deliverance, if we would just trust Him. The Lord is the Provider of men. Friend, I pray and long for all of us to get this truth firmly planted in our hearts. I pray that you let yourself be reminded of Abraham and all of those before us who trusted God to be their provider and were not even once deceived.

God is no respecter of man. What He's done for one, He certainly can and will do for all of his children. You just have to put your faith in His ability to provide for all of your needs. We know God is our provider because He says that He is. "So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him" (Matthew 6:8). The problem is that most of us don't have patience. We don't often wait for God; we get in more trouble and delay our blessings by making our own ways. Our Father does not know lack, He knows abundance. He wants to give you everything more abundantly. Romans 8:32 tells us that God shall supply our needs according to His riches and that we cannot have a need too great for God to supply. Glory!

So friend, what is your pressing need this morning? Whatever it may be, God's has unlimited supply of it. His unfailing, uncompromising and ever living word should satisfy your mind now and for all of eternity. God's wealth is at your disposal; His healing (emotional, physical and spiritual) is at your disposal. Don't continue to torture yourself by refusing to take God at His word. You are His child, His creation. You are His personal property, and He desires to give you His perpetual care and complete attention. I want to remind you that The God of Abraham, Daniel and Jacob is still in perfect control. He is able and willing to do all things. You must take the initial step to believe His word and you need to remind yourself every morning that you serve Jehovah Jireh.He provides. Allelujah!

Praise the Lord!
