Come To Me.........

Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint." Jeremiah 31:25

On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. John 7:37

I just can't comprehend why Christians insist on carrying their burdens. Jesus invite us to come to Him. We do not have to do anything alone. He is with us. He wants to lighten the load. Let us turn our worries to him and let us rest. People who believe in God experience peace. Worry comes from unbelief.It is unbelief that causes people to be/remain restless. Christians should spend a lifetime trying to believe. There must come a time when Christians surpass the point of unbelief and just believe. The above scripture invite us to come no matter what the need. You and I must learn to go to God for all of our needs. We must enter His rest. Christ died for our victory. We no longer have to strive. We can actually attain through Christ.

My dear friend, do you trust the Lord? Do you know that He loves you and He will bring you through? You do not have to worry about anything. Victory is yours. Do not panic. Do not spend your night crying and second guessing your decisions. Bring all your concerns to the Lord in prayer. At the end of the day it is all that matters. An eternity with him is worth getting excited even if nothing else ever happened in your life. You are already saved from eternal death and you have eternal life through his death and resurrection. You have a reason to shout. You have a reason to praise.

"Come to me" is an invitation you cannot pass on. You can continue to worry or you can go to him. The choice is yours. I pray that you will make the right choice and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 91

New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 91
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
