The Power of Christ.......................

Friend, there is nothing impossible to God. He is the author of all things. I cannot stress this enough. You can go to Him with all of your troubles not just some of them. He really cares about you. When you have a pressing need, you must be diligent by bringing it to the Lord in prayers. Being diligent does not mean to be consumed by finding a way to get out of your situation. Remember God is in control. He is waiting to deliver you. His plan for your life is a good one. Trust Him for complete victory.

Diligence means that you have to pray and read the word of God dealing with the issue. Let's say you need healing; then you must read and meditate on healing as often as you can. Your Bible should be your companion. Faith comes by hearing (understanding) the word of God. You must place yourself in a faith driven environment (read the word; listen to tapes and CD's). You might want to stay away from discouragers. You do the same thing when dealing with financial issues and so on.

Is the devil giving you trouble  today? Is he trying to torture you and shake you down? If so, It is time to turn the table on him.  You have the power to do it. You have the power inside of you to destroy his works, to heal, to deliver, to set the captives free, to reclaim you peace of mind, your emotional wholeness. An anointed man of God once said that believers have so much power in them that every time we wake up in the morning the devil worry and fear. The word of God says the devil should flee from us and not the other way around. (James 4:7) Jesus died to destroy the work of the devil (1 John 3:8). You need to understand what you have going for you (the power of the resurrected savior within you)

At this very moment, as you are reading this, the power of Christ is working within you. Align your thoughts with His might and you will accomplish great things. It does not matter what the situation looks like. You are to keep walking by faith and keep claiming victory. You are more than a conqueror in Christ. You are destined to win in Jesus Name.
Praise the Lord!

Psalm 19

   The heavens declare the glory of God;
 the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
    no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice[b] goes out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
    It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
    like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
    and makes its circuit to the other;
    nothing is deprived of its warmth.
The law of the Lord is perfect,
    refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
    making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
    giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
    giving light to the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is pure,
    enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
    and all of them are righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold,
    than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
    than honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned;
    in keeping them there is great reward.
12 But who can discern their own errors?
    Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
    may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
    innocent of great transgression.
14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
    be pleasing in your sight,
    Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Love Like Jesus Christ!

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14

It is fair to say that all of us have the need to love and to be loved. Whether we wish to admit it or not, we all wish for someone who love us, honor, fuss about us, take care of us, and shower us with attention. The truth is true love is worth finding.

Is It possible to love like Jesus? Is it really possible to love our neighbors like ourselves? Are we capable of love so true? I personally have tried to love others deeply but sooner or later I always give up. Either because it took too much energy or because I did not get enough in return. No matter how hard I have tried in the past, in the midst of a disappointment, arguments or/and frustration, I always come to the inevitable conclusion that it was not worth the energy and my best efforts or noble intentions just would not cut it. I want to love and be loved like Christ. To love others like we love ourselves is an order that came directly from the mouth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 Is it possible to love so truly? Why do you think there are so many single people in the world? All are searching for the one thing they are not even able to offer. Some even believe that they will never find true love and others think they are not worthy of love. I have learned from growing up at church that most people want to be compassionate, good, generous, kind and loving towards each other but only on a "good day." As some point their patience always run thin because the human side of us is intolerant and that can be a major obstacle. My own conclusion is that I can love. I am able to love. I have loved and I love now very deeply. The problem is I am not able to love perfectly. My love tend to diminish or mutate completely when faults, weakness, stubbornness, and imperfections surface. My human instinct (as a person who has previously endured imperfect love) is to run when relationships seem to take a not so pretty turn. Like me, you probably don't like to make yourself vulnerable. I don't want to hurt and refuse to be hurt again and it is that fear of POSSIBLE hurt that makes people hold back and keeps them from experiencing perfect love.

Friend, no matter what you have done and no matter who has told you differently, you are significantly loved. The most magnificent, awesome, loving, caring and thoughtful being to ever existed is interested in a relationship with you and  He's got good intentions. He is  promising marriage. How about that! He knows you completely, and yet He loves you perfectly and eternally. He love you so much that he made himself vulnerable even though he knew for CERTAIN that his love will cost him his life. Jesus did not ask us to do anything He did not do first. He wants us to love as He loves: unconditionally. How are we suppose to do something so impossible? Jesus tells us exactly how to love so truly: With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27. He is saying that it is impossible for us to love like that on our own but it is possible through Him. He explains it clearly in the parable of the vine and the branches. He says that He is the vine and we are the branches and it is only when attached to him that we will be able to bear fruits. As we mature in faith, we will gradually let go of self and hang on to Christ more. As we trust Christ, we will become more like him and we will become more patient and compassionate with others. Then and only then, we will be able to love truly and unconditionally as Jesus loves.

And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment. The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31 (Amplified Bible)

Father, it's not always easy for me to love others. Thank You for your wonderfully perfect love for me. I pray you will enable me to love others just as you have loved me. Amen!

Praise the Lord!

My Refuge in Times of Great Needs!

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord rescues them from them all. (Psalm 34:17-19)

Anyone who says that life will be a walk in the park once you become a Christian is a liar. To be honest, more trouble seems to come to those who accept Christ. It’s inevitable. Each one of us is going through something, I am certain of it because the past two years have been my most challenging yet. But why is there always so much opposition? As Christians we have a real enemy. He wants us to turn away from Jesus in order to hinder our sanctification and to make us doubt our salvation. He wants to blind us and lead us into sin to make us think that we can never be forgiven again. He wants us to feel alone, depressed and oppressed. He ultimately wants in hell, forever separated from God. This enemy is Satan. He is a well-known liar. It is important to know his nature. In times of need, we have to remember that the Lord is on our side, that He loves us unconditionally and that He renews the strength of those who hope in Him; so should we worry when going through the hard times? Those who believe that God is everything He says He is and that He can what He says remain firm in trouble for they knew every problem is an opportunity to see the glory of God. Every though situation is a privilege to see God do what He does best: taking care of His children. When all doors seem to be closing at once and I have no where to turn, I find a hiding place in God.

Recently my family experienced an especially difficult week, but God supernaturally gave each one of us the strength to pull through and God also opened up my eyes to understand that whether painful or hurtful, somehow it fits His plan for my protection and for a secure future, and that peace came only when I surrendered after having searched for alternatives comfort. There, in the privacy of a small office, my God came rushing in and only under the shadow of His sweet embrace that I felt at peace and safe. Not surprisingly, He has promised to keep each one of us safe, holy, separated unto Himself; and He is a promise keeper (glory!). “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.” (Psalm 46:1-3) I realized today that God will always choose the hardships that best prepare us for the future challenges. It may not look or feel like it at the time but as we rest in Him, it becomes abundantly clear that it accomplishes its purpose and that in His chosen time and place He always comes. “My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” (Psalm 62:1-2)

Friend may you rest peacefully in His plan and provisions. Don’t be foolish to turn away from such deep love. Trust your Shepherd to lead you to green pastures. May you know without a doubt that God’s hand is never too far off to save! May you live in perfect union with Him. May you know that in Him alone you are safe so that you can be still, and unshaken in His divine presence and more importantly, may you know that He is God, your only hiding place forever!

Meditate on the verses below: (email me for the complete list)
Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. (Exodus 14:13-14)

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. (Psalm 9:9-10)

My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. (Psalm 119:50)

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me. (Psalm 138:7)

Praise the Lord!

Thank you Jesus!

Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord. Always give thanks to God the father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:20-21)

It takes an instant for the situations of our daily life to change.  I prefer to enjoy God today, by praising Him, and thanking Him for his grace, his mercy and unconditional and unmistakable love for me while I still can.

Are you one of these people who are waiting until things are going well in "all areas" of your life before you to enjoy your life?  News flash: tomorrow may never come for you. Take this moment to thank God for all He's done so far and praise Him in advance for the coming blessings.

Are you one of these people who feel that you have nothing to be thankful for? Think of salvation. God sent His son Jesus Christ to die for you, a humiliating death, at Calvary in order for you to inherit eternal life. You don't need anything else. Life is the best gift you will ever receive, if you haven't done so yet, pray this prayer now:

Heavenly Father, I refuse to wait until I get good news before I thank you, help me be aware of all my blessings today, before tragedy strikes. You are a wonderful father, the best caretaker I could ask for. I submit my destiny, my will, my entire being to your capable hand today; Do unto me, as you will. I thank you for all my past, present, and future blessings; and I thank you most of all, for sending Christ Jesus to die for the forgiveness of my sins and it is by His Holy name I pray. Amen.

Friend, make it part of your daily routine to praise and thank the Lord for your many blessings, whether you recognize it or not, you are constantly being blessed, protected and loved by God.

Be happy today, and always. You are loved.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 102

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
    Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 89

will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lordlike unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

12 The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.

16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

17 For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

18 For the Lord is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

38 But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

39 Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.

40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.

41 All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

42 Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

43 Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

44 Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.

45 The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.

46 How long, Lord? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

47 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

48 What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

49 Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?

50 Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;
ached, O Lord; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

52 Blessed be the Lord for evermore. Amen, and Amen.

Praise the Lord!
