It is a TRICK & not a TREAT..

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. John 3:19

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5:11

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, Colossians 1:13

Do you know what Halloween is about? Do not be embarrassed if you don not. In fact, most people are ignorant of what Halloween really celebrates and actually they don't even care to know. Some parents suspect that they should not celebrate it but refuse to find out for sure. They don't want the accountability, but the truth of the matter is parents will be held accountable by God, whether they like it or not. Children are placed under their care for a reasons. Children do not belong to the parents. Psalm 127:3 says, "Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward." parents have the responsibility before God to train the children well and early in life. After all, they will appear in judgment before God one day. Parents will have to account for everything including the training of the children entrusted to their care. Raising children to the ways of the Lord is a serious honor with serious accountability. "Train a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not turn away from it." Proverbs 22:6

Parents must rear children with morals even in this immoral world. There is nothing innocent about dressing up for Halloween. The devil is the master of deception. Do not be deceived, Halloween is not of God. It is without a doubt a celebration of lie and darkness. Jesus is Truth and Light. Let us be honest, do the Jack O lantern mask, withches and black cats represent life or death? Do Skulls and a skeletons represent life or death? Is anything involving concealing your face represent God or the devil? Who is the master of disguise and deception? You do not need to know much to understand that Halloween is not a celebration of life and light. God is the giver of life and not the taker. The devil is known as the enemy, the liar, the thief and the king of darkness. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10

Is Halloween a TREAT or a TRICK? I can say without a doubt that Halloween is a trick and most definitely not a treat. The Bible says that every knee shall bow in worship to the name of Jesus Christ and the deceiver's objective is to get all to worship him one way or another. Friend, we cannot worship the devil. We worship only God. You and I must be vigilant and the Word of God instructs us to do so.

Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour. Peter I 5:8

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. 1Timothy 4:1

If you really are a professing Christian in words and deeds, a person who values the sacrifice of God on Calvary, a person who is grateful and understand the gift of salvation, you have absolutely no business, no reason, and no interest in celebrating Halloween. You have no need to dress up your kids in disguise for Halloween or any other times. You must not take part in the festivities that celebrate the devil. You cannot be part of this holy day of Satan. it does not matter if everyone else at your church, neighborhood and family is doing it. God will hold you responsible for what you do. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you remain strong and take away anything in you that is not of God. This Halloween I urge you not to participate in it and to rather pass the knowledge we just shared to someone else.

Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22

See Yourself As God Sees You.....

You are the righteousness of God!

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Cor 5:21

How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself umimportant, broken, poor, miserable, unlovable and rejected? God sees you differently. He holds you in high regards. He loves you so much that His sons had to die to save you. God pulled all the stops to ensure that you have the abundant life He created you to have. Your heavenly father does not want you to have a bad day in your life. He wants you to have joy and peace. He wants you to enjoy life for His glory.

God cares about every area of your life. Sometimes we ignore certain health issues or certain situations in our lives because we find them minor but God pays attention to all areas of your life that is why He does not sleep. He is watching over you actively. You can sleep easily at night. you do not have to fear anything. "The LORD watches over you—the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Psalm 121:5-8

My friend you are important. Your life matters. God cares. He has a purpose for your life. You are a righteous son/daughter of God by grace through faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Don't feel left out ans cast out any longer. You are an accepted and loved member of the family of God. Trust what Christ has done for you on the cross made you righteous. See yourself as God sees you and be blessed!

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 42

Psalm 42

Longing for God and His Help in Distress...

1 As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so my soul longs for you, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God?
3 My tears have been my food
day and night,
while people say to me continually,
‘Where is your God?’

4 These things I remember,
as I pour out my soul:
how I went with the throng,*
and led them in procession to the house of God,
with glad shouts and songs of thanksgiving,
a multitude keeping festival.
5 Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my help 6and my God.

My soul is cast down within me;
therefore I remember you
from the land of Jordan and of Hermon,
from Mount Mizar.
7 Deep calls to deep
at the thunder of your cataracts;
all your waves and your billows
have gone over me.
8 By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life.

9 I say to God, my rock,
‘Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I walk about mournfully
because the enemy oppresses me?’
10 As with a deadly wound in my body,
my adversaries taunt me,
while they say to me continually,
‘Where is your God?’

11 Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my help and my God.

Praise the Lord!

I Need You Jesus!

Whom have I in heaven but you? and there is none on earth that I desire beside you. Psalm 73:25

I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." Psalm 16:2

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:5

There are times in my life when I know that I will not be able to take myself out of the hole I find myself in because it is just too deep and I do not have the resources needed to pull myslf out. Sometimes I wish that things would move themselves out of my life, but deep down I always knew that nothing will move without a push from God. Do you know what I mean? when the bills are past due, now I’m not just referring to one bill, but I am referencing to all of them (Insurance, car note, school loan, mortgage/rent, telephone, gas, electric). All of them are due and there is no money in the accounts or there is no bank acccounts. You find yourself needing God to move right now, and not later. You begin to pray, crying out and asking God to show up. Because you know, sometimes the need is pressing and cannot and will not wait until the morning. That is when you remember like David, you have an anchor in heaven. So you cry out to Him and tell Him that you need Him and you have no where else to turn.

One thing you and I often forget about God is that He does not move because we are under pressure. He will not move because He feels any anxiety. He is in control and knows everything before they even occur. He knew you were going to feel desperate. He was not caught by surprise. God only moves when we trust Him. It is faith that moves the hand of God. God ask us to call Him in times of trouble but He does not always have to move right away, but He will move. He often tend to dictate how God should move but He is the omnipotent God. He knows what to do. He may not work it out the way you would like (thankfully) but He will work it out. Sometimes God does not wait until morning. He often shows up in the midlle of the night and other times He shows up before the needs get desperate. The key is to trust that He will will work on our behalf when we bring a need to Him. You and I must learn to wait with expectancy and allow God to move in ways that He chooses. I have experienced incredible joy in my life when God moves in a way I did not expect. There is nothing sweeter than the fruit of answered prayer.

Friend,Jesus death and ressurection made it possible to have all of our needs met. Not just a few of them. You can ask God to move in any situation and He will. I want to remind you that you have an advocate in heaven. The Bible guarantees that when you turn to Jesus in faith, He will show up and He will deliver you. There is never a need to beg God. You can boldly approach the throne of Grace and He will hear you and work in your favor.

Call on me in times of trouble. I will rescue you, and you will honor me." Psalm 50:15

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.Psalm 107:13

For I am the Lord, I change not. Malachi 3:6

Expect Victory......

Be Joyful  & Be Still!

The LORD says: 'Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet. Psalms 110:1

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

What is it you are supposed to do while being persecuted? The Lord says to sit at His right and He will make your enemy a footstool for your feet. Never has He made it your victory clearer. Your enemies cannot win, as long as you sit at His right; being at His right means a powerful place, "Under your feet" means "where you have destroyed them". God knew that His people (old and young) were going to have opposition and that they would have enemies, but He guaranteed victory.

The enemies are not just people. They could be the circumstances of your life: Sicknesses and pain, inability to find a job. It can be loneliness or the inability to find a spouse. The enemy could be your or inability to conceive a child or it could be any type of financial challenge, but God already made you a promise of abundance and all you have to do is accept it. You can do that by meditating and believe that you received. All of His promises are yours to keep. If you are a believer, you are a descendant of Abraham, David and Jacob. God will lift up your head; you shall not be the tail. Praise the Lord! You may be going through right now but it will not last. It will have to stop; it is a promise of God to you.
Your neighbors are going to stop persecuting you. This situation with your boss is going to end. Your marriage is going to be restored and love ones are going to come to the Lord. It is done.

Let your mouth be filled with praise, have the knowledge that the evil doers and the circumstances of your life are temporary. God will restore you and put you back in place of honor and abundance. Align your thoughts and words with God words and soon, very soon the victory you already have in the supernatural will manifest itself in the natural

Live with expectation. We are serving a God who is full of surprises. You situation can suddenly change but if it takes a while, live with expectation. Be blessed! Be positive! your life is about to change, you are going to experience God limitless ability to change your circumstances. Be ready, your cup is going to be filled. It is a promise of God.

Praise the Lord!

Believe Without Seeing.....

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." John 20:29

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

Without faith we cannot please God. There are two worlds: The seen and the unseen. Which one are you going to believe? There are two teachers: Jesus Christ and the devil. Which one are you going to listen to? The choice is totally up to you. You can follow Jesus and live eternally and you can follow the devil and spend a life or torments and eternity in the lake of fire. The choice is yours. It is a simple choice but many choose not to have abundant life. Friend, looking out the unseen things will only be achieve by the word of God. the Word of God is the highest authority. The Word God should be ruling/dictating your life and not the word of man.

David and Abraham, for example, are two men who live by faith and how great were their rewards! The word of God is what validate your faith because faith comes by hearing the word of God. When you believe that you receive you will have it and we know we receive when we ask according to His will and we know that God is the giver of life and the giver of all good things. God wants you to be healthy and live and abundant life. You have victory over sickness, disease and pain. You can walk in victory no matter what you see, no matter what you heard and no matter what the doctors say. Our heavenly father have given us a blank check and all we have to do is deposited and start making withdrawals.

My dear friend, when you choose God you cannot lose. Choose God and you will win. It is is a win-win situation. You can live in constant fear or you can rely on God's word. You can believe that God will honor His word to heal you and live in expectation. It does not matter if the cyst is still visible, if you still feel pain and if the doctors say it is hopeless. God says it, and that settles it. You are healed. You are made whole. You will overcome this situation. Abraham believe God and become a father when he was 100 years old. It was impossible by all accounts. Sarah became a mother at 90 years old. I am sure she was told by all in her surroundings that it would be impossible. God is the God of possibilities.

God can do it all and the Bible says in Malachi 3:6 that God will never change. He still doing the things He has always done. He is capable of doing the things He has done in the past. He can heal your body, your mind, your emotion and your broken heart. He can give you that job you so desperately seeking. He is able and willing to work a miracle in your finances. He is able to restore that broken relationship. He is able to bring the loss child back home. He is able to help restore that child with the learning disability. He is able to lift you up. He is able to fill you with joy and a new hope for the future. He is able to give you wisdom about that big move you been wanting to make. HE IS ABLE. HE IS ABLE. HE IS ABLE!

My dear friend do not give up. Believe in God no matter what you see or hear. Believe without seeing. It does not matter if the tests remain unchanged. Hang on to His word and do not listen the teacher of defeat and lies. Choose the giver of life. Choose truth. Choose the Word of God and be blessed, be healed, be delivered, be made whole, and be set free!

I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27

Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You. Jeremiah 32:1

Faith in God will Move Mountains......

Yes. Even your mountains. Praise the Lord!

I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, "Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11: 23-24

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

The above words were spoken by Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus is the truth and the life. It does not get any clearer than this: When you pray believe you receive and you shall have it. The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is very important to God. The life of a believer is primarily a life of faith. The Christian walk is a faith-based walk. And how to do we reach God? By praying. The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to pray without ceasing. The Bible does not say that certain things are too big to ask for in prayer. Jesus said specifically that you will have whatever you ask for in prayer.

Friend, the prayer of faith will heal the sick and set captives free. Faith never makes a conclusion based on our bodies and how we feel and see. It does not matter if the pain is still there after you pray. When you pray believe that you receive. it does not matter if the pain worsen. Believe you receive. As a matter of fact, whenever I pray about a situation in my life it always seems to become worse right before my victory is manifested. If it is a sickness the pain intensify. If it a certain food or a certain sin I am trying to abstain from, my flesh aches for it to the point of tears, and if it is a broken heart, it becomes unbelievably more painful. It never fails. It happens all the time. When that occurs we must stand on the word of God. That is why it is vital that the believer lives by faith. It never matters what it looks like, what you see, what other people see, what the banks are saying and what the doctors say. When you pray believe that you receive and stead fast to your confession and hold on to the truth of God and you shall have victory. Faith works. Prayer works. Jesus will not fail you.

Let us pray: Father how grateful we are for another opportunity to praise you and give you the honor that you so richly deserve! We thank you for your grace and mercy. We thank you for being infinitely good. We thank you for remaining who you are through the ages. You say to come to you when heavily burdened and you will give us rest. Father here we are once again at your feet. We have no other place to go. We bring it all to you. Father we need you to ignite a fire in us for your kingdom. Fill us Father with compassion for those dying without you. Father we need healing in our bodies (be specific in the area of your body that you need to be touched). We need healing for our siblings (name the person). We need a breakthrough in our finances and our loved ones (specific-mortgage, car, tuition). Father we need that job we have been searching for so vehemently. We need our loved ones to be saved (names). We need a breakthrough in our love life. We need restoration of broken relationships and restoration of joy. We need our children to be obedient and to excel in schools (name the children). We trust that you will do just what you said you would do Father. We believe that we are healed. Our loved ones are healed and delivered. We believe a turn around in our finances. We believe that our children are being blessed and that our loved ones are saved in the holy name of Jesus your son who died and rose for our salvation. We thank you Father and we honor you for only you are holy. Only you are worthy and only you are God. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

What Does God Say About Fear?

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

"I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear? Isaiah 51:12

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day. Psalm 91:5

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Fear can keep people in deep bondage. I believe that the dominant fear that people have is the fear of death. Friend, Jesus came to die and rise in order to defeat the devil and take back the keys of hell and death forever. Now, if you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, then you do not have to fear death because you know for a fact that even when the body dies, you will continue to live on. You have eternal life. My dear friend if your greatest fear is death, you may rejoice because there is no reason to fear death, and if you not afraid of death because you know you will be with Christ, then why should you be afraid of anything else or anyone else, ever again for that matter? Jesus told us to not be afraid of man or any devil. God is the One whose opinion counts; He is the One we should respect and honor; He is the One whose word will last forever.

Let us confess the word of God concerning fear from the Old to the new testament.

1. Genesis 26:24, That night the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham."

2. Deuteronomy 3:22, That night the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham."

3. Deuteronomy 31:6, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

4. Deuteronomy 31:8, The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

5. 1 Chronicles 22: 13, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.

6. 1 Chronicles 28:20,
"Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you."

7. Psalm 56:4, In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

8. Psalm 112:17, They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.

9. Isaiah 12:2, Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation."

10. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

11. Isaiah 41:13, For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

12. Isaiah 43:1, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine."

13. Isaiah 54:4, "Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated."

14. Isaiah 54:14, In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you.

15. Jeremiah 17:8, He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

16. Jeremiah 46:7, "Do not fear, O Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, O Israel.

17. Daniel 10:12, Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

18. "so now I have determined to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid.

19. Matthew 14:27, But Jesus spoke to them at once. "Don't be afraid," he said. "Take courage. I am here!"

20. mark 5:36, But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid. Just have faith."

21. Luke 12:7, Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

22. Luke 12:32, "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

23. John 14:27, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

24. Hebrews 13:6, So we can say with confidence, "The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?"

25. 1 John 4:18, There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

26. revelation 1:17, When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.

Friend, if you are saved (You have made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior) you would never have to fear. He is always with you. He is with you now in this economy. He is with you during this health crisis. His with you through all your hardships and He will never forsake you. You can count on His great love.

Praise the Lord!

More of You Lord and Less of Me......

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

I looked in the mirror the other and I was amazed. I did not like what I saw. When did I become so full of myself? I pray day and night but always about myself and my needs. I realized that lately it has been all about me. It scared me. Didn't Jesus Christ command us to love each other and to be concerned about the kingdom of God? I do not want to be a selfish person. I would like to continue to be the person my mother raised with the fear of the Lord and a contagious fire for kingdom work. I want to be the servant I was trained to be and I would like to make myself more available to others. I want to turn my back on my selfish desires and pay more attention to my surrounding. More of you please God, and less of me.

My dear friend, let us be vigilant! Let us pay attention or else we will become like the world. we are in the world but we are not of this world. One of the things I noticed in my early Christian walk is that the enemy will try to overpower us with challenges in order for us to be so consumed that we would forget that the Christian walk is all about Jesus Christ. The truth of the matter is that the devil has no power. The victory at Calvary left him powerless.

Jesus was all about helping others. Throughout His ministry He healed the sick. He embrace and serve the poor. He saved the loss. He never worried about His own needs. Jesus always took time out to be with the Father even though they were always in constant communication. Jesus often spent many days praying and fasting. Jesus fulfilled His mission and His relationship with the Father without complaints. You and I have to strive to be like Christ on a moment by moment basis. The Bible says in the above scripture that when we seek Him diligently we will find Him.

Dear friend, there comes a time when you and I must decide to focus on God and His kingdom. There comes a time when you and I need to stop worrying about our health, our finances and all other earthly concerns. God promised to take care of us and He will. Let God be your shield. Let him do what He does best. Let Him take care of us as we seek His kingdom and righteousness. God will take care of you as promised. He is able to do all things. Stop living a life of defeat. You are victorious through the blood of Christ. The victory was won at Calvary many years ago. We are redeemed. There is no need to focus on our needs. We need to get back on offense and we will be able to kick the world in the butt. Friend, your life should be exciting and rewarding because you already won. If your challenges (sickness, disease, pain, rejection, lack) are holding you back you can ask God for healing, acceptance and breakthrough in your finances. Through prayer you will break strongholds and move forward by focusing on Christ and the kingdom.

Let us be more like Christ in every way!

Praise the Lord!

Let Go & Let God.......

"For he is the living God, enduring forever. His kingdom shall never be destroyed, and his dominion has no end. He delivers and rescues, he works signs and wonders in heaven and n earth." Daniel 6:26-27

www.bibletourwithjoline.org/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

You have probably heard the story of Daniel and the lions. Daniel grew up in Babylon, in the King's house and has faithfully served as an advisor to both King Darius and Nebuchadnezzar. Other advisors were jealous of his stature. They plotted and fooled Darius into outlawing prayer to anyone but the King, knowing full well that Daniel is a worshiper of the only true God. It was both a test of faith and an opportunity for Daniel to show his faith as well.

The first thing I admire is the fact that Daniel chose to obey God even though He knew the consequences of his actions. Daniel's prayer relationship with God was important enough to risk losing his life over. Second, Daniel put himself in danger for God sake, and he didn't ask God to rescue him, he knew that God would keep those lions in control. He did not seem to doubt God's ability to shield.

Friend, there has to be a time in your life when you have to get past the point of "trying" to trust God. You have to trust Him naturally. Trusting Him has to come without a struggle. That's why the Christian walk is called a journey. As you're walking you have to make progress, you have to advance until you reach your destination. You must reach a point of complete relliance on the omnipotence of God. How sad would it be to go through the journey of life and to never know God intimately? It's only when you know God intimately that you will learn to trust Him and walk through life without fear. Imagine life without the fear of dying, the fear of getting hurt at night and the fear of jumping out of your skin everytime something happens in the world. Imagine what the quality of your life would be with God in complete control!

Like Daniel, you and I face all kind of difficulties in our daily lives. Lions come in all shapes and like him we need to learn to make the difficult choices and take a stand for for righteousness. Daniel got a miraculous ending. He trusted God and as a result he benefited from God's faithfulness and mercy. Who knows what you will experience when you learn to let go of yourself and learn to trust God? It is through our adversity that our strength gets perfected.

God rescues His people. He is the same today, yesterday and forever (Malachi 3:6). God's character never changes. He never is "less than" who He used to be. He never gets better. He never improves because He is perfect. There is no room for improvement. God is as good, as perfect and and as merciful as it gets right now. Praise God! He is already perfect. God is always good and wise. He is always sovereign. he is always the loving Father. He is always just, always holy, always merciful, always gracious and indeed the Almighty. Whatever God was, He always is. There are no "sometimes" attributes of God. All of His attributes are "always" and "forever" attributes. He always is what He is and he desires to accomplish great things through you. He wants to take you to the next level. He wants to give you victory in all areas of your life. The question as you are approaching the weekend is will you let Him accomplish His will in your life?

Praise the Lord!

I praise you for never leave me alone even when I walk away from you. I praise you for comfort in the midnight hour. I praise you for joy in adversity. Father, I praise you for being my healer. You touch my body on a daily basis. You heal everything that concerns me. You care about every area of my life, even the area I try to keep away from in order to have my own way. I praise you for not playing favorite. You treat me as though I were your favorite child. I praise you for putting my enemies to shame when you delivered me. I praise you for being infinitely merciful.

My soul rejoice in you this morning Father. There is none like you. I find everything I need in you. When I need peace, you are near. When I need joy, there you are again. When I need love, who else but you? When I need comfort in the middle of a cold night, you hold me close and rock me to sleep. When I need healing father, you touch and restore me. When I cry you dry my tears. I praise you for never let my issues consume me. You always come through for me. I praise you Father for answered prayers that strengthened my faith and unanswered prayers that have kept me at your feet. I have experienced the fullness of your love and I am certain that you know what is best for me and I will forever depend on your wisdom.

I praise you Father for showing me your way when I don't know which way to go. I praise you Father for divine protection on the road when I continue to go in circle by driving one state to another and from one city to the next with no definite destination. I praise you for the heartbreaks caused by my stubbornness that you used to bring my back to you. I praise you Father for the opportunity to know you. It scares me when I imagine what my life would be like without you. I praise you Father for including me when so many have rejected me. I praise you Father for humiliations that kept me humble and reminded me that I have no control and that you are the captain of this ship. I praise you Father for being my rock and my fortress through this period of great suffering and uncertainty. I know that you will direct my path and bring me where you need me to be for your glory. I praise you Father for preparing the next crowning moment of my life. I trust you and will continue to really on your might and power every day of my life. I will continue to praise you and honor you until I see you face to face. Amen.

It's Already Done!

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. Ephesians 1:7

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” I peter 2:24

One of the things I realized is that whenever I start my day without confessing the truth about myself, my day gets challenging. you and I must confess who we are in Christ on a regular basis. Our faith is as strong as our confession. We have the responsibility to see ourselves as God sees us, and to remind ourselves who we are in Christ; Or else, the enemy will try to convince us otherwise. We need to be firmly planted on the Word of God to be able to resist the devil's attacks. If you are a person who struggles with certain things I suggest you write them down on a poster board and place them on your wall. A battle is something to take seriously and you and I are facing spiritual warfare. We really have a common enemy. We have already been redeemed. The blood of Christ already provided us with the victory. All we need is to accept it and confess it.

I am increasingly amazed at the number of Christians who do not understand redemption. We are redeemed by the blood of Christ.
To be redeemed means :
1) To place firmly in a desired position.
2) To cause to come to rest.
3) To put in order.

My favorite definitions include:
4) To atone for; compensate and acquit, reinstate, restore and save.

My friend, the blood of Jesus restored us. We were acquitted of wrong doing. We were eternally saved. We are reinstated in the family of God. Jesus Christ took our punishment and we became like Him. We now have the same power that raised Him from the dead in us. Jesus took our punishment on His body. Jesus took death in our place. We were healed. We were made Whole. We were forever changed. We were redeemed. Some Christians either do not believe it or cannot believe it because they think they are not worthy of such great love. They think that it could not possibly be this easy. But I tell them, you are right. It was not easy to die like Christ on that cross. He suffered a great deal. They are right in assuming that they were not worthy of eternal life but the blood of Christ redeemed/changed that and made us worthy. That is why Jesus Christ is called the redeemer. He offered us (Those of us who accept Him)eternal life. We have eternal life now. His death provided us salvation from eternal death. we now have abundant life. The abundant life isn't something we will have in the future. We already have it now. We receive it the moment we accept Christ as Lord and Savior.

Friend, your sins are forgiven. You have eternal life. It was done. You are healed. You are made whole. It does not matter what you hear, what you see, what people are saying and what the doctors are trying to tell you. The truth is Jesus died in your place. He gave you power to win. Fight the good fight of faith. Believe God's truth about you and hang on to it until you see Him face to face in Glory.

For though I am far away from you, my heart is with you. And I rejoice that you are living as you should and that your faith in Christ is strong. Colossians 2:5

God Makes A Way.....

"and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Psalm 50:15

"“You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD,“and my servant whom I have chosen, I, even I, am the LORD,and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—I, and not some foreign god among you.
You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "that I am God. Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?" Isaiah 43:10-19

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

I found out trough the study of Israel's history that God always made a way for His people. It was God who personally made a way to get them out of Egypt. He miraculously made a way for them to cross the Red Sea. He made a way for them through the crossing of the wilderness even though they were disobedient, and He also made a way for them to go into the Promised Land. God is faithful. I concluded that if God made a way for them, He is able and will make a way for you and I. In our wilderness God is the way to go. I do not know about you, but I am so glad I serve a God who is able to do great and miraculous things. Glory to God!

Malachi 3:6 says, "For I am the LORD, I change not." If God delivered them multiple times, He will also deliver us. It is as simple as that. Friend, if you encounter sickness, disease, lack and pain in your wilderness, don't you worry. God is able and willing to show up in a major way. he says in Psalm 91:15 "I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him." What else do you need? God assured you that He will be with you and that should be enough to give you hope and joy. You are not alone in your adversity. Spouse, family and friends may have walked away but you still have God on your side and He is enough. He is the all sufficient God. Praise Him!

My dear friend God will make a way for you if you trust him no matter what you here and no matter what you see. Habakkuk 2:4 "The just shall live by faith." and Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." I don't care what you are going through friend, trust God and you will have victory. The doctor gave you little hope but your faith is in God. The economy is not encouraging but God is your anchor. So you are not getting any job interviews, but God is your source. Your spouse walked away but God is your comfort. Your loves ones rejected you but God is your affirmation. He is your all and all. Life gets better when you keep your eyes on God. God will make a way.

Friend, I am thankful that I serve a limitless God. The only God who is able and willing to make a way out of the wilderness. My trust is in Him. How about you?

Praise the lord!

Your Steps Are Ordered.....

The steps of a man are established by the LORD, And He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

You are here for a purpose. if you are a believer, God wants you where you are right now for His purpose. Things may no be going the way you would like them to go but you must trust God and scripture took it a little further: We are told to delight and accept our position. You and I have to delight/enjoy our position. We may not understand why we are here and for how long God is going to keeps us here but we must still trust that when the time is right, He will reveal the plan. As a matter of fact, it does not even have to make sense why we are here. Faith in God is exactly what must keep us in position. Rest become easy once we understand that we belong to God and that our steps are ordered. We no longer murmur and complain about our situations. We know that all things work together for our good.

So to have our steps ordered by the Lord means that the Lord is the one directing us, guiding us and leading us. But in order for the Lord to direct our steps, there are some things we ought to do. First of all, we must have faith. The Bible says in Romans 1:17 "the just shall live by faith." and Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” Also,I Thessalonians 5:17 says "men should always pray and not faint." Perhaps, one of the most important reasons to pray is the fact that God says it.In Jeremiah 33:3, the LORD says, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."

Friends, if you are a believer and find yourself in a place of great challenges, don't you worry. God is with you. He will guide you safely out of the wilderness. Trust Him and you will see His glory. He loves you. He cares. He is able.

Praise the Lord!

God Delivers!

Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name. When they call to me, I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them. With long life I will satisfy them, and show them my salvation. (Psalm 91:14-16)

Promises are one of the most important parts of relationships because they have to do with trust, and where there is no trust there is no relationship. Promises are the foundation of a relationship. This election season has me thinking about promise keepers a lot. When I was a child it was easy for me to trust. I only interacted with my parents and there wasn’t any reason to doubt their commitment to the family. They didn’t have to sign a contract. My siblings and I knew that they had our best interest at heart. Our experience with them indicated that they were deserving of our trust and respect. Now that I am an adult, sincerity and integrity are conditions to trust. It is hard to have confidence in the one who is speaking, unless I have some experience in dealing with the person. The integrity of the one making the promise is the factor that makes the promise valuable. It is actually sad because integrity is not even popular in our culture. We use contracts because they are so convenient, and besides, we can always make amendments if we don’t like a clause and there is also the opportunity to void the contract all together.

Some of our most notorious political, corporate and religious leaders, make carefully prepared and well-delivered statements loaded with great promises. But most of those words are later proven meaningless as we found out that those who said them were not trust worthy. In recent years, there has been an epidemic of divorces and rumor of abuse in our churches due to the simple fact that people (church goers included) are unable to keep their promises because promises-makers and promise-keepers are hard to find.

Friend, I know a promise keeper worthy of trust. His record speaks for itself. Abraham and Sarah (as God renames them) were made a promise. He was promised a son and the Lord promised that Abraham’s name would become great and that a nation would come from his descendants. God also promises to bless him so that he may be a blessing. Both Abraham and Sarah were old but in due time Isaac was born, (many years later) but still at the right time just as the Lord promised, and finally, The promise was fully and finally realized in Jesus Christ. When God gives us his word on something, He will keep it no matter what. Every promise is an iron-clad promise. He is The Promise Keeper. It doesn’t matter how impossible it seems to be, He will do what He says. You have to trust God.

Are you sick? God said you are healed. You were healed 200 years ago. God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the bill for our salvation (those who believe). Jesus death and ressurrection set the captives free. He paid that bill in full with His blood. You have to trust God when He says He will answer your prayers. When He says He will be with you in time of troubles, He means it. He is the Promise Keeper.

You are anointed for warfare. (physical, spiritual, emotional, relational) you have what it takes to win all your battles. Don't be anxious about anything. Put your trust in God. He is able. He still delivers. He says what he means and he means what he says. You are healed! You are made whole. You are set free.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 35

1 Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me;
fight against those who fight against me.
2 Take up shield and armor;
arise and come to my aid.
3 Brandish spear and javelin[a]
against those who pursue me.
Say to me,
“I am your salvation.”

4 May those who seek my life
be disgraced and put to shame;
may those who plot my ruin
be turned back in dismay.
5 May they be like chaff before the wind,
with the angel of the LORD driving them away;
6 may their path be dark and slippery,
with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.

7 Since they hid their net for me without cause
and without cause dug a pit for me,
8 may ruin overtake them by surprise—
may the net they hid entangle them,
may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.
9 Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD
and delight in his salvation.
10 My whole being will exclaim,
“Who is like you, LORD?
You rescue the poor from those too strong for them,
the poor and needy from those who rob them.”

11 Ruthless witnesses come forward;
they question me on things I know nothing about.
12 They repay me evil for good
and leave me like one bereaved.
13 Yet when they were ill, I put on sackcloth
and humbled myself with fasting.
When my prayers returned to me unanswered,
14 I went about mourning
as though for my friend or brother.
I bowed my head in grief
as though weeping for my mother.
15 But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee;
assailants gathered against me without my knowledge.
They slandered me without ceasing.
16 Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked;[b]
they gnashed their teeth at me.

17 How long, Lord, will you look on?
Rescue me from their ravages,
my precious life from these lions.
18 I will give you thanks in the great assembly;
among the throngs I will praise you.
19 Do not let those gloat over me
who are my enemies without cause;
do not let those who hate me without reason
maliciously wink the eye.
20 They do not speak peaceably,
but devise false accusations
against those who live quietly in the land.
21 They sneer at me and say, “Aha! Aha!
With our own eyes we have seen it.”

22 LORD, you have seen this; do not be silent.
Do not be far from me, Lord.
23 Awake, and rise to my defense!
Contend for me, my God and Lord.
24 Vindicate me in your righteousness, LORD my God;
do not let them gloat over me.
25 Do not let them think, “Aha, just what we wanted!”
or say, “We have swallowed him up.”

26 May all who gloat over my distress
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who exalt themselves over me
be clothed with shame and disgrace.
27 May those who delight in my vindication
shout for joy and gladness;
may they always say, “The LORD be exalted,
who delights in the well-being of his servant.”

28 My tongue will proclaim your righteousness,
your praises all day long.

Praise the Lord!

Merciful God....

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. John 8:11

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

The above scripture should be very important to the believer it reveals Jesus true nature, His nature to forgive. He abstain from condemnation despite His knowledge of the truth. The adulterous woman was brought to Him in the hopes of condemnation but the Lord sent her away and ordered her to sin no more. The world did not know it yet, but the very purpose of Jesus was to forgive, heal, made whole, save, and to give abundant life. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly". (John 10:10) The Lord God loves us all. His love is not what we typically experience in this world. It is not a secret that His love for us is wrapped up with His goodness and mercy. Through the grace of the Holy Spirit, Who is ever-present with us, our soul and heart finds peace. Love and mercy go hand in hand. It is because of His mercy that he came to die for us.

God has always been and always will remain infinitely good and merciful toward His people. Because God is good, we may have comfort in communicating with Him,(Ephesians 1:6), His eyes are now upon the righteous, and His ears attentive to their cry (Psalm 34:15). It doesn't matter if you are rejected by your spouse and family. You will always have acceptance in God's loving arm: Isn't that beautiful!

Because He is merciful we can call on Him in ti,e of distress "Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I can desire beside thee?" (Psalm 73:25). As we consider our position in life, our condition, our bodies and spirit, in every respect, "I will praise thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14). It doesn't matter what our situation is, we have God mercy, goodness and salvation through Christ. Glory!

As you are enjoying the weekend, be positive and merciful. Know that God is with you. Don't start next week with the same old grudge. Let people know that you are a man/woman of God by showing forgiveness and mercy. It doesn't matter what happens last weekend, if you confess and repent our God of mercy will forgive you, so give your family, friends, and co-workers a break by being merciful in your dealings with them. Let God mercy and goodness remain alive in you.

Praise the Lord!

To Love & Trust...

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, letting it be seen that he is the strong support of those whose hearts are true to him. 2 Chronicles 16:9

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

We are called to trust in the God who is love. David was a man who loved God and talked often. He sought after God with passion. He cherished the time he spent in God’s presence. He never worried in time of trouble. David had faith in God. He knew with absolute certainty that when he prayed, something (good) was bound to happen. His undeniably love and his faith (in God and not his own ability) would not let him doubt. It was easy for him to trust God because they were in a loving relationship.

Some people don’t trust God because they don’t love Him enough. It is easy for the loving heart to trust. Children show their love through obedience. Friend, there isn’t a single event that can occur outside of God’s sovereign control. You can rest in the (Rock-solid) truth that God is in control, no matter what happens in your life and in the world around you. The word of God in the above scriptures tells us that God shows support to those, those who seek him diligently, those who put Him first and those who love Him.

Dear friend, there is a connection between love and trust. Both begins and ends with God. The call for faith and the call for love are really one.
God is the only One who is truly faithful and yet it is easier to trust people who break promises and/or don’t meet expectations. Your trust must remain focused on and in God versus them. When you are faced with major challenges, your spouse, parents and friend can only pray but they cannot take any of them away because they are human and fallible. God is Sovereign (Powerful, infallible, immutable, faithful, just, good and loving). He has the ability to change impossible situations. Trusting grows in relationships over time because as you spend time together with someone you build understanding, patience and trust. You gain insight into another person’s heart.

Unconditional love develops trust. You can trust God to renew your relationship with Him and others. (Loving God without loving others is impossible). God has the ability to change your heart and even give you a new heart that is perfect toward Him. "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. "I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other as He does for you!

Praise the Lord!

Pray & Praise Him.............

Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

It is our responsibilities to use the weapons of our warfare. God is a good God. He tells us what to do when we're in trouble. People say that He works in mysterious ways, but there is no mystery. Our loving Father is open with us. He let us know in the Bible, what to come, in order to get us ready for the occurrence. In Philippians, God is telling us what to do to get our peace restored. The Bible is God breathed (inspired) The Word of God is truth and peace. As long as we exist prayer and praise will work.

Money and social position don't produce peace. There are wealthy people all over the globe who do not have peace. They spend their time worrying or guarding their riches. There is power and deliverance in Prayer and praise. Are you burdened this morning? Are the worries of this world keeping you from enjoying the precious life that God gave you? There is no need to worry. I know, i know, and I know that you seem to have good reasons: your children are sick, your loved ones are lost, you can't find work, and you are sick in your own body. The issues are many and great but they are no greater than God. Allelujah! Get on your knees, start praising Him, bring all of your worries to Him "Come to me, all you who are troubled and weighted down with care, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28. Why do you insist on carrying your load alone? God promises to take your load off, why don't you let Him. We just started a new week let's face it with optimism and faith.

God has the whole world in His hand. His providence for us (the believers) is His word. Take the time to read His word. It is by reading the word that you will understand Him and that you will get to know Him more intimately. When you read His word, you will understand the intensity of His love for you. It is important to read His word. The thoughts come from the mind, and what our minds have been fed will determine how we will act. It will also determine our character and our attitudes.

Fill your heart and mind with God's word and God's wisdom, pray and praise the Lord constantly and walk from glory to glory.

Praise the Lord!

My Comforter......

Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. Isaiah 49:13

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

Where should you go in times of comfort? There are times in our lives when we need a word of comfort. What is the logical next step when in needs of comfort? I have a large family and I used to run to family members with all of my sorrows. I even have keys to my brothers and sisters house. I remember driving to their homes in the middle of the night. Being around my brothers and sisters and especially my nephews and nieces used to bring me peace during that period of my life. I quickly realized that the peace I felt by being around them was always short lived. Soon morning would come and all of them would leave to their respective jobs and/or their other responsibilities than I would find myself alone with my torments. Over the years, God has been faithful. He patiently worked with me in overcoming my fear of being alone in times of great needs. He has taught me to rely on Him alone. There is no doubt that my siblings love me but honestly I cannot think of one moment when either one of them solve any of my problems. Talking to them only delay the inevitable: I must tell Jesus.

Friend, you must learn to go to God. Let us be realistic, people have their own concerns and they are busy with their lives. Most of the times our calls go unanswered and we would spend day chasing after someone when we could easily get on our knees and talk to the only One who knows how to comfort us. Isn't that true? Scripture commands us to go to God when heavily burdened and he will give us rest. There is never a need to run right and left in search of comfort. your well-being and Comfort is important to God. Before He left, Jesus said "But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don't, the Comforter won't come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you" John 16:7

I don't think God would send a Comforter if He didn't think we would need one. Nothing is ever by accident with God. All is by design. Everything is set up to fit our needs. God is an excellent Father. He wants to be all that we need. My dear friend, stop running to family friends when you need answers and comfort learn to go to God. learn to lean on God. He really cares about you. He does not want you to face your difficulties alone. God is qualified to heal your body, dry your tears and calm your storms. He alone can answer those tough questions. He wants you healed. He wants you at peace. He wants you to have peaceful nights. He is able and willing to restore all that is broken and that include your physical body and your heart. Invite Him in, He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6), and lead you into everlasting life, (John 6:47). If you rely on Him, you victory is guaranteed. He will never leave you.

Don't wait for difficulties to develop the habit of talking to God. Talk to God continuously about everything and soon it will become a regular occurrence. What is keeping you awake at night? is it your health? Is it the safety of your loved ones and their salvation? Is it your next mortgage payment? Are you lonely? would you like to conceive a child? What is consuming you? Be consumed by and with God. He is the healer, Comforter, peace giver, and joy giver. God is the ultimate lover. He will answer your calls. You don't have to chase Him. In fact, He has been chasing you. He wants to give you His abundant life. He wants to heal you. He wants to touch you. He loves you. Let Him be your Comforter and be blessed!

"Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD. Jeremiah 1:8

Praise the Lord!

To my sister NP, let God be your comforter and source of joy in this time of need! This too shall pass.

Peace & Joy......

"You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy." Psalm 30:11

"I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!" John 15:11

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

I have always been concerned with the issue of peace and joy since childhood. Everytime I have gone to church for quite a while now, there has always been someone weeping or someone who appeared sad. Just last Sunday, the ladies to my right and left wept through the entire service. Why don't Christians have peace and joy? Jesus Christ said in John 14:1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me." He also said in John 14:27. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." So why do Christians worry? Is it a trust issue or is it possible that they do not believe that God is an all sufficient God? I think it is quite possible that Christians do not know God at all.

David knew God. He trusted God throughout his life. Sarah knew God. She was able to conceive a child when it seemed impossible. Daniel also trusted God and yet all of them did not have all the testimonies we have now. They did not have many books and materials from Joyce Myer, Kenneth Copeland, Charles Capps and many more. Our generation has more resources than any other and yet trusting God's ability to be a shield, a savior, a rock and a healer has been a struggle. What really puzzles me is the fact that people who do not know God seem to have great joy and live happy lives. I think people worry because they believe some situations are hopeless. They let the doctor's report affect them negatively. They let the next mortgage payment consume them. Friend, you must be consumed by God and God alone. He is able. Nothing is bigger than the Almighty, not even Cancer, Diabetes, HIV, MS, High Blood Pressure and many more. Your situation does not worry God. You must trust God. You must apply His word to your circumstances. You must walk by faith. "For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17

A few years ago, there was a man who attended the same church as one of my best friends. He seems poor by all appearances. He did not own a car. He did not have a house. He would not even buy a drink during lunch at work. He brought a lime and a cup of water to work every day. At the time of his death, he was renting a room in someone's house and the church took care of his burial fees. Imagine the church'surprise when they went to clean his room and found a small fortune under his bed. I am talking about a few dollars short of a quarter of a million dollars. The man lived in absolute poverty and yet he was sitting on a small fortune. Why did I tell you this story? Because in a sense Christians live just like that man. They sit on treasures and live miserably. Jesus took all their infirmities, pain, sadness, poverty and challenges. He put all on His body and died on their behalf. His ressurection power gives them abundant life (healing, wealth, wholeness, salvation of loved ones, personal salvation). When Jesus said on the cross "It is finished." It was done. You were healed. You had joy. You had peace. Before He went on to be with the Father, Jesus assured them that He left His peace. He commanded them not to worry and yet some live in constant lack, worry, anxiety, pain and defeat. They are sitting on treasure and yet they do not put it to good use. They do not enjoy it.

He is not a secret that Christians have joy and peace available through the blood of Christ and yet they choose not to enjoy it. Friends, peace and joy are available and could be yours if you choose to accept them. There is no reason why the world should be enjoying their lives more than you do. You and I have the hope of heaven. When it is all said and done, you and I will be with Jesus Christ FOREVER. This truth should be enough to fill us with joy. "So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy." John 16:22

I would like for you to decide this instant that joy is yours. Peace is yours. Healing is yours. The joy of the Lord is your strength. No disease, no pain and no challenge can ever rob you of God's peace. Jesus died for your peace and joy. God is all you need him to be. He is your healer. He is your protector. He is your constant companion. He is always with you. God is offering all that He is to you through His son Jesus Christ. Would you welcome him into your life? It is true that you know Him but is He your Lord? Jesus needs to be your Lord. Nothing else will do. It is only when you give Jesus Christ control of your life that joy and peace will become available.

Please, do not spend another minute worrying. Take all your trouble to Christ and embrace His peace and joy that He died to give you. Be healed! Be happy! Be Free! Have peace and have joy! He is able.

Praise the Lord!

Obey God......

"This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua 1:8

God wants you to succeed, it's up to you to meditate on His word day and night and He will do His part in return. People say that God works in mysterious way but the truth is He is an open book. He reveals Himself completely in the Bible. He gives distinct guidelines to have long lives and prosperity. The above scripture is well-known, but how many of us do what it says? I am sure we all want to succeed and to prosper, but no too many of us want to meditate and live according to the Word, consequently we go in circle without reaching our full potential on this earth.

What does it mean to meditate day and night? Meditation is not only thinking about a passage you may have read at the beginning of your day. To meditate is to live by biblical principles throughout the day. All our "say" and "do" should be aligned with the Word of God. It should be difficult at first, but will get easier with times. Take time to know God through His written Word. When you meditate the Word of God, you should also personalize the content of the Word, read and apply it as if it is written just for you. There is overwhelming evidence throughout the Bible that God wants His people to prosper. He wants us to have a relationship with Him. He wants to fulfill His plan in our lives but we must obey His word. Obedience is not a secret. It is revealed in the Bible as the key to many blessing including prosperity.

There is always a promise attached to obedience. God promised to make Abraham a great nation if he'd give up everything and go where He sent him. "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing". Genesis 12:1, and "If you live in accordance with my precepts and are careful to observe my commandments, I will give you rain in due season, so that the land will bear its crops, and the trees their fruit" Leviticus 26:3-4 (read the entire chapter). God always keep His promises. He will do for you what He has done for many others. Start living according to His word and experience health and prosperity beyond understanding, because God’s instructions to Joshua preparatory to entering the Promised Land, remains a proven formula to success for us today. It is the purpose of God to call us back to his Word so that the Holy Spirit can strengthen and bolster our faith. The renewed involvement with the Word of God (read/meditate/personalize) is the dynamic behind all awakenings, revivals, renewal and reformations. The Holy Spirit gives light. He opens our eyes to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and creates faith. Friend, there cannot be revival without changed lives. There are no changed lives without the Holy Spirit. And there is no working of the Holy Spirit apart from the Word of God.

Praise the Lord!

You Have Power

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.Luke 10:19

"I am the Alpha and the Omega" says the Lord God who is and who Was and Who Is to come, the Almighty". Revelation 1:8

Friend, there is nothing impossible to God. I cannot stress this enough. You can go to Him with all of your troubles and not just some of them. He really cares about you. When you have a pressing need, you must be diligent by bringing it to the Lord in prayers. Being diligent does not mean to be consumed by your situation. Remember God is in control. He is waiting to deliver you. His plan for your life is a good one. Trust Him for complete victory, and it doesn't matter if somebody you know went through the same situation and yet he/she didn't have victory. Don't measure God's ability by what is going on in somebody else's life.

Diligence means that you have to pray and read the word dealing with the issue you are going through. Let's say you need healing; then you must read and meditate on healing as often as you can. Faith comes by hearing (understanding) the word of God. You must read the word, listen to tapes and CD's. You must confess the outcome expected. You do the same thing when dealing with financial issues and so on.

Is the devil giving you trouble at every turn today? Is he trying to shake you down? If so, you have the power to turn the table on him. Start making him miserable for a change. You have the power to do it. You have the power inside of you to destroy his works, to heal, to deliver, to set the captives free, to reclaim you peace of mind, your emotional wholeness. An anointed man of God told my mother years ago that she has so much power in her that every time she wakes up in the morning the devil should worry and fear. The word of God says the devil should flee from us and not the other way around. (James 4:7) Jesus died to destroy the work of the devil (1 John 3:8). You have power through the blood of Christ.

At this very moment, right now, as you are reading this, the power of Christ is working within you. Align your thoughts with His might and you will accomplish great things. It does not matter what the situation looks like. You are to keep walking by faith and not by sight. You are more than a conqueror in Christ. You are destined to win in Jesus Name.

I command you to go give the devil some trouble today by acting the power you know you have (in Jesus) and by walking in faith and perfect peace. You are not alone. You have power in Jesus. You are powerful!

Praise the Lord!

Salvation Made Simple......

Are You Saved?

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Saved means SAVED! It means delivered from a fate that, without intervention, would result in injury or death. It means to be preserved from something. Even the dictionary will tell you that being saved, in the religious sense, involves deliverance or preservation/redemption. God says true salvation is being delivered from death, but this is not what is commonly believed.

What is salvation? I recently found out that there are people who have been going to chuch all of their lives and yet they are not saved. There are people who go to church weekly and yet they are not sure that they are saved. they still argue about destination after physical death. Sadly. people do not read their Bible. Friend, you can believe the plan of salvation and go to hell. You're not saved by the plan of salvation; You are not saved by going to church and do good. You're saved by the Man of salvation: Jesus Christ. His blood made salvation possible. You say, "Well, I believe if you live right, you'll go to heaven, "I'm a member of a good Bible-believing church." It's not any of these things. It's Christ. My pastor says to me when I was probably ten years old that Salvation is not believing something; it is receiving Someone: The Lord Jesus Christ.

Salvation is one of the promises of God to all believers: to be given the gift of eternal life. To be "saved" in the full sense of the word means to have received eternal life. The word salvation is also used to describe the process we go through before we can receive eternal life. (In a few scriptures "saved" refers to redemption, one of the steps in the process of salvation). The Bible exposes the life of Paul's epistles we can witness his struggle against his flesh upon accepting his salvation. You cannot be saved and continue the life you lived before, you cannot be saved and continue to lie or cheat or whatever your stronghold may be. Salvation must bring change. It's alright to struggle periodically but true salvation brings transformation.

We are all Spiritual beings. All of us will live eternally. The only question is where will each one of us will spend eternity? There are only two destinations and one simple choice today will decide your destination. it is that simple. Everyone will eventually face the death penalty. Since the wages of sin is death. You should be concerned. It is very important to know where you stand. Where you are going to spend eternity should be a major concern. You know your life better than anyone else. Look inside of you and answer these questions for yourself: Am I saved? Am I a work in progress? Am I changing or am I living the way I always lived? You may lie to your family and friends, and you may even lie to yourself but God is omniscient, all knowing, He sees everything, nothing escapes Him, Glory! It's time to get real and make the proper adjustment. Repent of your sins, accept God grace through Christ and start your new life: Eternal Life. Eternal life does not start after death. You can start it here on earth right now by choosing Christ as your lord and Savior. It is not as complicated as you have heard.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Salvation is only by faith through Christ. Nothing else will do: not your generosity and not your good heart. You can be sure of your salvation. You no longer have to wonder.

Praise the Lord!
