Breath of Life.......

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 37:4-6

God can restore whatever situation you are facing today. The Bible is filled with countless stories of restoration. Redemption is major theme in the Bible. God wants his people to trust Him and to live in total peace. There is nothing that He cannot do. I am sure you remember what He did for Joshua, Daniel and many more. Do you remember the story of Paul in the island of Malta? Paul was beaten by a poisonous snake? The people of the island thought he would die and started to speculate that perhaps he was a murder and later on they concluded he must be a god. Though your situation seems dangerous right now, it is not the end. Don't you worry! God wants to restore you. People maybe talking about you and laughing behind your back but God is about to lift you up for his glory. You have to stand firm and you have to hang on to the word of God. He promise to never forsake you and He will not. He is the promise keeper. He will do what He says. He can be trusted. He will restore health back in to you. He will restore your finances. Your love ones will come back to Christ."I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten--the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm my great army that I sent among you." Joel 2:25

How many times have you wished you can turn back to time and have a new beginning? How often have you wished you could get something back whether it is a health, wealth or a love one? With God every day is an opportunity for new beginning. Lamentations 3:23 says that His mercies are new every morning. God loves you so much that He chose to forgive and forget our sins and our past by the cleansing blood of Jesus. Why wouldn't He restore you? God wants you to know that He loves you. He is with you through high and low. He sees you. He hears you. He is a good Father. You are not an orphan. There will come a time when He will dry your tears and He will not allow you to be shamed and talked about anymore. This is the truth. The situation you are facing is temporary. God is going to show up in a major way.He will breathe new life into you.

Then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. Deuteronomy 30:3

Children Need Guidance.......

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

Truly, I was formed in evil, and in sin did my mother give me birth. Psalm 51:5

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Children need training. Psalm 51:3 tells us that inside every one of them is a sinful nature and it begins expressing itself almost immediately after birth. Parents have the responsibility to show them how to live right. Therefore, parents are not only challenged to teach children to do the right thing, they also have the obligation to punish them when they do the wrong thing. If parents do not punish their children when they are young, then the children will punish them for sure in the future. I see red when a parent let a child gets away with terrible behavior. A wise parent trains up a child in the way He should go. Not according to the parent's will for the child, but according to God's will. Children should be trained in ways that lead them to develop a hunger for God and are internally motivated. Parents must raise the children right. Parents who do not discipline their children because they don't want to make them unhappy are setting themselves up to be disappointed in the future and they are setting the children up for failures and worst of all, they are in disobedience to God. To train the children young is a command from God and not a suggestion.

The Bible offers 5 good reasons to discipline our children:
* To Remove Foolishness - Pro. 22:15
* To Rescue From Judgment - Pro. 23:13-14
* To Receive Wisdom - Pro. 29:15
* To Relieve Anxiety - Pro. 29:17
* To Reflect God's Character - Heb. 12:10-11

By following God's word we can raise children who avoid evil and serve God faithfully. Bible principles about child raising are very critical. The subject of raising children deserves careful study by almost everyone. Are you a young person, not yet married? Almost certainly someday you will be a parent or will work with children in some capacity. Acts 20:27 implies that Christians must teach "the whole counsel of God." That includes Bible teaching about parenthood. All of us need to learn this, no excuses. So if you have children or ever will have them, and even if you don't have them, as a Christian you need to know God's will. Allow me to remind you that it is far easier to build a child that to repair and adult and friend, please allow the Lord to help you to do everything in your power to be the best parents you can be to the children He entrusted you with, for His glory.

Praise the Lord!

The Lord is My Rock...........

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalm 18:2

www.bibletourwithjoline.com

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

God has a reputation of being everything to His people. He was David's fortress, Daniel's deliverer and my rock. The first time rock appeared as a metaphor for God was when Jacob blessed Joseph. He calls God “the Rock of Israel.” That is a powerful image of God. I grew up in a mountainous Caribbean islands and rocks are not easily moved and they are used to keep the villages safe. When I think of rocks when I think of a place of safety. When I was a child my mother was my rock. My safety, my go to person for comfort and when she unexpectedly died in her mid thirties my world also crumbled. I needed a new rock. I desperately needed someone I can turn to and someone who cares and could make things better. Fortunately my mother was a praying woman who lived by the Word of God. When nothing else made sense, I always found refuge in the Lord. When I was at my weakest point the Lord was my rock.

Thankfully, I was introduced to God as a child and I grew up knowing Him as my rock. I did not have to struggle with it as an adult. I was blessed to have experienced him as my rock, my stronghold and deliverer at an early age. Now as an adult, I realized that i have been through many changes. I have had high and low moments. I have lived many places. I have experiences certain level of success and I struggled in some areas but God has always been consistent. He remains faithful through my ups and downs. He remains my rock.

My dear friend, you too need a rock. You need someone who cares. You need someone who will always hear you. You need someone to shelter you in time of great danger. God is the ultimate rock. The One who will never leave you or forsake you. The beauty of it is that you do not have to ask God to be your rock. He already is your rock. When you are hurting and need a hiding place, go to him. When you are happy and need to share your joy, go to him and give him praise. He is the One who causes everything to work out for your good. He is a good father who only wants good for his children. You need God all the time. Invite Jesus Christ into your life and Let him be for you what he has been for many before you: A fortress, a stronghold, a refuge and a rock.

Praise the Lord!

Come To Me.........

Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint." Jeremiah 31:25

On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. John 7:37

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

I just can't comprehend why Christians insist on carrying their burdens. Jesus invite us to come to Him. We do not have to do anything alone. He is with us. He wants to lighten the load. Let us turn our worries to him and let us rest. People who believe in God experience peace. Worry comes from unbelief.It is unbelief that causes people to be/remain restless. Christians should spend a lifetime trying to believe. There must come a time when Christians surpass the point of unbelief and just believe. The above scripture invite us to come no matter what the need. You and I must learn to go to God for all of our needs. We must enter His rest. Christ died for our victory. We no longer have to strive. We can actually attain through Christ.

My dear friend, do you trust the Lord? Do you know that He loves you and He will bring you through? You do not have to worry about anything. Victory is yours. Do not panic. Do not spend your night crying and second guessing your decisions. Bring all your concerns to the Lord in prayer. At the end of the day it is all that matters. An eternity with him is worth getting excited even if nothing else ever happened in your life. You are already saved from eternal death and you have eternal life through his death and resurrection. You have a reason to shout. You have a reason to praise.

"Come to me" is an invitation you cannot pass on. You can continue to worry or you can go to him. The choice is yours. I pray that you will make the right choice and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 91

New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 91
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

God Loves You....

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." (Psalm 100:5).

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwihtjoline.blogspot.com

God's Father love for us far surpasses that of any human parent. God is the Father of those who accept and follow his Son (John 1:12). "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" (Matthew 7:9-11). The kind of love that God offers is unconditional and difficult to comprehend. We are too used to "Quid pro Quo". We are not used to unselfish love. God love so much that He sent his son to die to reconcile us with Him. The original sin separated us from God but God made possible through the sacrificial death of the lord Jesus Christ. You and I are loved! But you don't have to take my word for it. Look around and see God's love. Examine you own life and realize His love. Pray to Him and feel God's love. Each time you read the Bible I know you will be able to understand that God loves you. He does not require you to change in order for him to love you. He loves you as you are and his love will transform you.

So you you just received disturbing diagnosis from the doctor? Your spouse walks out. Your children are rebellious. The challenges are many but you have not lost it all. God loves you. He promised to always be with you and that nothing could ever separate you from him. You can still be joyful. You can still have a future. When you have God, you have everything. God never asked you to understand his love. All he asked is for you to receive it. No guilt, no second guessing and no mental anguish. His love is pure. it is available to you. There is no need to be skeptical. God has an excellent track record. He can be trusted. You can rely on his life changing love.

The Lord Jesus Christ offers each one of us a fullness of life that is impossible without him. He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6), and "I am the bread of life" (John 6:35), and He also indicated, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again" (John 3:3). Jesus' death, resurrection, and offer of eternal life is the greatest manifestation of God's love for you.

If you have not been born again (accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior) if you have not yet decided to become a Christian/ follower of Christ, let me officially invite you to come to him right now. The Bible says in Romans 10:13 "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." My dear friend, do not wait any longer. Do not waste another minute. Give your life to God by accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord right now. You also can be recipient of this great love. You can do what you have always done or you can try something different. "Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:8
It is so easy to do so right here, right now and in the privacy of your own office. yoou can say this simple prayer:

Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for this opportunity to approach you. Thank you for sending Jesus. I realize that I am a sinner. I also know that I need a savior. I confess Jesus is the living son of God who came and died for my sins. Please forgive my sins and accept me in your family. Be my Savior and the Lord of my life. I surrender all that I am to you. Take complete control. I thank you Lord. I praise you Lord. Amen!

Praise the Lord!

When the Devil Attacks your Joy......

He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. Psalm 91:15

and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Psalm 50:15

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Jeremiah 33:3

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

An area that the devil attacks is our joy. Christians don't always seem to recognize his work in that area as quickly as they should. By the time they realize his work, he had already done much damage. That is why the Bible urges us to be vigilant. I have learned from scripture that Satan is persistent. We have to be even more persistent when it comes to resisting and rebuking him. It is important for you and I to remember that when we let the devil steal our joy we are in disobedience to God. We lose our joy when we worry and choose to believe Satan's lies over God's truth. God says tells us not to fear. He says he will always be with us. He says to be of good cheer. God says he will never forsake you. You need to find strength in God's word.

Friend, you must remember that Satan will consistently try to take the circumstances in your life and turn them into an attack. (Psa 55:22) Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Satanic attacks are indeed burden and God wants us to cast that burden on Him since He knows our own strength is inadequate for the job of fighting Satan. Fighting the devil is a job that God is well-equipped to handle. Your job is to hand your burden over to God. To carry your burden is to disobey God.(2 Cor 13:8) For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. When you are under attack because of the devil's lies answer with truth just like Jesus did when He was tempted. Satan cannot handle truth and he can’t destroy truth. That is why it is imperative that you get familiar with the truth found in scripture. Read your Bible. It would be silly to go to war without weapons. Like wise, it is silly to handle your warfare without the full armor of God.

Friend, as first sign of sadness cut it off with the word of God and start praising God.So put on the full armor of God. Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7

Living According to His Will.......

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

To live the will of God, you must know what it is. The will of God is "what God intends to do in and through your life for His glory." Most of God's will is revealed in the Scriptures (Bible) and some of it is revealed piece by piece as you grow in faith and in your relationship with God ("In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.") Proverbs 3:5-6. As you seek God's will through your journey, He will reveal Himself to you. Glory! I promise you, it is the sweetest thing. When you realize God's presence in your daily living, you can truly live a life without limit. You can go from victim to victor. "I am the Lord, your God, who teaches you what is best for you!" (Isaiah 48:17) and Romans 12 tells us that God's will is "good." Do you think of the Lord's will as good? I don't know anyone who wants to keep repeating the same mistakes. God really wants the best for us when He gives us His will. You're on to something good when you find the will of God for you and when you start living in His will, your life will forever changed. God's will is the only plan for a SUCCESSFUL LIFE.

Friend, you can say you love God all day long but if you are not living a sacrificial life and start resisting temptation then how much do you really love him? Love come with certain sacrifices and you have to be willing to make them. The will of God comes from the heart of a loving heavenly father and therefore it cannot be anything but "good, pleasing, and perfect" for you and for me. You cannot run away when the going gets tough. God created us perfectly. We have what it takes to go through trials and come out of them victoriously. We have the Word of God which is His will. "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

Are you going through the same issues? Are you going in circle? I don't care what you are going through today, there is a way out. Christ lay His life down so you and I can have access to the perfect will of God. Let's pray this simple prayer: Lord, make me think about your will the same way you do. I want to love the will of God, relish the will of God, embrace the will of God and Lord Jesus I want to submit to the will of God no matter what and Lord I believe you have the power to make it so. I trust you to be the Good Shepherd and I know you will lead me to green pastures. I love you and thank you." Amen!

Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, declares the LORD, and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.

Praise the Lord!

No Need to Fear....

Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught. Proverbs 3:25-26

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

There are a few passages in the Bible where God tell us to “Fear Not”. I found 31 verses, there could be even more, and that makes me wonder why the word of God discusses fear? God knew that our journey here on earth wouldn’t be easy and we’d have to face some challenging times and we may be tempted to fear, as the loving father that He is, He left us with certain guidelines to get through our temptations. Fear can paralyzed you and keep you fro praying and keep you from enjoying the life that God gave you. Well, fear is a powerful force that can keep your focus off of God, and that is the most dangerous aspect of fear. We tend to focus on our circumstances more than God, but Jesus died on the cross to take us from our circumstances. So many Christians today worry about things they have no business worrying about. The word God urges us to bring all our burdens to God. Not some of them, not the ones we can’t fix ourselves but all of them.

Fear should not be in the heart of the believer because it is rooted in unbelief. Faith and fear cannot co-habit. You either have faith or you don’t. If you are terrorized by the fear of what might suddenly happen to you, around you or in the life of your love ones than you are in disobedience because the word of God tells us not to worry because God is able to supply all of our needs. He has done it before and He will do it again. There are a lot going on today, from wars to national disasters, to numerous scary/devastating new diseases that keep coming out of no where. There are numerous natural disasters in every part of the globe, but we remain in faith because we believe in God’s ability to come through for us. We know whose children we are.

My friend, don’t worry. Whatever it is you are fighting right now is temporary. God is going to work it out. As a matter of fact, Christ already won the battle for you more than 2000 years ago. Whatever it is, as hard and hopeless it may seem in the natural, DON’T WORRY. It is already taken care of in the spiritual. God is the answer. He wants to help and He is able. Call on His name and invite in, tell Him about your trouble, He cares and loves you. Remain in faith and He will see you through it. There is no need to fear when you put your faith in God.

Be courageous and be fortified in Jesus name.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 3

A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom. You can also use it for any situation including sickness.

1 LORD, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
“God will not deliver him.”[b]

3 But you, LORD, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
4 I call out to the LORD,
and he answers me from his holy mountain.

5 I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.
6 I will not fear though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.

7 Arise, LORD!
Deliver me, my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.

8 From the LORD comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 27

The LORD Is My Light and My Salvation
Of David.
1The LORD is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold[a] of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?

2When evildoers assail me
to eat up my flesh,
my adversaries and foes,
it is they who stumble and fall.

3 Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet[b] I will be confident.

4 One thing have I asked of the LORD,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to inquire[c] in his temple.

5For he will hide me in his shelter
in the day of trouble;
he will conceal me under the cover of his tent;
he will lift me high upon a rock.

6And now my head shall be lifted up
above my enemies all around me,
and I will offer in his tent
sacrifices with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make melody to the LORD.

7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry aloud;
be gracious to me and answer me!
8You have said, "Seek[d] my face."My heart says to you,
"Your face, LORD, do I seek."[e]

9 Hide not your face from me.
Turn not your servant away in anger,
O you who have been my help.
Cast me not off; forsake me not,
O God of my salvation!
10For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
but the LORD will take me in.

11 Teach me your way, O LORD,
and lead me on a level path
because of my enemies.
12 Give me not up to the will of my adversaries;
for false witnesses have risen against me,
and they breathe out violence.

13I believe[f] that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living!
14 Wait for the LORD;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the LORD!

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 40

1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the LORD
and put their trust in him.

4 Blessed is the one
who trusts in the LORD,
who does not look to the proud,
to those who turn aside to false gods.[b]
5 Many, LORD my God,
are the wonders you have done,
the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you;
were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
they would be too many to declare.

6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire—
but my ears you have opened[c]—
burnt offerings and sin offerings[d] you did not require.
7 Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—
it is written about me in the scroll.[e]
8 I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart.”

9 I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;
I do not seal my lips, LORD,
as you know.
10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
from the great assembly.

11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, LORD;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
12 For troubles without number surround me;
my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see.
They are more than the hairs of my head,
and my heart fails within me.
13 Be pleased to save me, LORD;
come quickly, LORD, to help me.

14 May all who want to take my life
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.
15 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”
be appalled at their own shame.
16 But may all who seek you
rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who long for your saving help always say,
“The LORD is great!”

17 But as for me, I am poor and needy;
may the Lord think of me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
you are my God, do not delay.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 38

A psalm of David. A petition.

1 LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger
or discipline me in your wrath.
2 Your arrows have pierced me,
and your hand has come down on me.
3 Because of your wrath there is no health in my body;
there is no soundness in my bones because of my sin.
4 My guilt has overwhelmed me
like a burden too heavy to bear.

5 My wounds fester and are loathsome
because of my sinful folly.
6 I am bowed down and brought very low;
all day long I go about mourning.
7 My back is filled with searing pain;
there is no health in my body.
8 I am feeble and utterly crushed;
I groan in anguish of heart.

9 All my longings lie open before you, Lord;
my sighing is not hidden from you.
10 My heart pounds, my strength fails me;
even the light has gone from my eyes.
11 My friends and companions avoid me because of my wounds;
my neighbors stay far away.
12 Those who want to kill me set their traps,
those who would harm me talk of my ruin;
all day long they scheme and lie.

13 I am like the deaf, who cannot hear,
like the mute, who cannot speak;
14 I have become like one who does not hear,
whose mouth can offer no reply.
15 LORD, I wait for you;
you will answer, Lord my God.
16 For I said, “Do not let them gloat
or exalt themselves over me when my feet slip.”

17 For I am about to fall,
and my pain is ever with me.
18 I confess my iniquity;
I am troubled by my sin.
19 Many have become my enemies without cause[b];
those who hate me without reason are numerous.
20 Those who repay my good with evil
lodge accusations against me,
though I seek only to do what is good.

21 LORD, do not forsake me;
do not be far from me, my God.
22 Come quickly to help me,
my Lord and my Savior.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 6

LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger
or discipline me in your wrath.
2 Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am faint;
heal me, LORD, for my bones are in agony.
3 My soul is in deep anguish.
How long, LORD, how long?

4 Turn, LORD, and deliver me;
save me because of your unfailing love.
5 Among the dead no one proclaims your name.
Who praises you from the grave?

6 I am worn out from my groaning.

All night long I flood my bed with weeping
and drench my couch with tears.
7 My eyes grow weak with sorrow;
they fail because of all my foes.

8 Away from me, all you who do evil,
for the LORD has heard my weeping.
9 The LORD has heard my cry for mercy;
the LORD accepts my prayer.
10 All my enemies will be overwhelmed with shame and anguish;
they will turn back and suddenly be put to shame.

Thank you Jesus for your victory! I am healed mind, body and soul.

Praise the Lord!

In the midst of Grief......

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.” Isaiah 43:2

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

How should we deal with grief? The world seems to be a very dangerous place. Natural disasters alone are enough to keep people running scared. There are more kidnapping than ever before and numerous gun-related shouting. Child abuse does even shock us anymore, it is part of our current event, but how do we deal with all of it? Do we run to the pharmacy for Valium like the world does? Should we sleep through life or should we face our grief head on? A friend told me the other day that he was thinking of moving somewhere safer than here. A place where there will be no hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquake, tsunami, ect. God is Omniscient, Omnipotent, Beginning and End. He is everywhere at the same time. We cannot escape His presence. He is able to protect us wherever we are. We don’t have to run scared and stay up all night. He who watches over us does not sleep. This is no time to be half-consecrated and some what dedicated. This is the time to go all the way with God, to give Him your whole life. This is the time to start relying on His might totally.

One of the lessons I recently learned is that we have to put the Word of God to good use. It’s nice to read it and to know the truth but you won’t really get excited about the Word of God until you realize that it’s more than just a collection of inspired stories and that it’s actually guideline provided by our heavenly father to carry us from victory to victory when we apply it to our life. The same power that raises Jesus from the dead is available to us. We are children of God. He is in us and us in Him. When dealing with grief we must call on God’s power. Naturally, our flesh cannot take much grief, but we do have the. God has everything in abundance and He wants to give us everything abundantly. It’s all at our disposal. He loves us too much to force anything on us, but when we ask, we do receive. Praise the Lord!

The Word God in the above scripture didn’t say we wouldn’t pass through the waters, but it did promise to be with us when we do. Glory! When you go through the fire, you will not be scorched, so why are you afraid? You already know the outcome. When all is said and done, you are going to be alright. So how do you deal with grief? You do it with courage and faith, holding to God’s promises and by continuing to praise Him through it all. You are not another ordinary, lonely person. You are a special, extraordinary, legitimate son/daughter of the Living God. Stop trying to believe in God. Take it up to the next level by actually putting your faith in Him. It’s time to stop being a spectator, watching God work wonders in other people lives. It’s time to be part of it all and claim your inheritance. Once you do that, changes will start to take place in your life. I am so excited this morning, Are you excited? You and I have nothing to fear. We are never alone. In the middle of a month full of bad news God gives us a reason to smile, to hope and to move forward. Love, serve and praise God with your whole heart. Walk closely with Him in the good times and through your grief. Remember, God will not take your cares away from you. You have to give them to Him. As hard as it is, you are the one responsible to keep your thoughts under control, but you can do it, “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” 1 John 4:4

Praise the Lord!

4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

Let Not Your Heart Be Discouraged....

How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 36:7

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

David was a very spiritual man. God said "a man after my own heart"). He admitted he had challenges and expressed them through song in his psalms. The reality is there are so many people struggling through life with one form of challenge or another. I think what happens is that when we go through hard times, somehow we feel like we are the only one going through it. We tend to feel like no one else has been through this or even see the vulnerable places of our heart and can relate to what’s going on in your life. We tend to forget that we still have God on our side, and He is the one who really matters. God wants us to trust Him. He does provide for those who put their trust in Him. When He wanted to provide for Abraham, He tested his faith by asking him to sacrifice his only son (we know that God did not spare his own son for our salvation). God wants us to trust Him. He does provide for those who put their trust in Him. When He wanted to provide for Abraham, He tested his faith by asking him to sacrifice his only son (we know that God did not spare His own son for our salvation). A man of God has this to say about faith "Faith isn’t believing in God in spite of evidence but it is obeying in spite of consequences."

Christians still count on their own ability. When in trouble, they get discouraged if they are unable to see a way out. They worry time and again and finally, in absolute frustration and when they have exhausted all they know to do, they finally surrender and declare that it's now "in God's hands?" Friend, God should not be your last resort. He is our first and only hope, God will really provide for those who trust in and understand that He is indeed Jehovah Jireh. After analyzing my life, from childhood to today and after reading my Bible thoroughly, I am convinced that is NOTHING that cannot do. God can do all things. "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist" Colossians 1:16-17. As believers in Christ, you and I must trust the Lord. When troubles come, we must trust that God it all under control and that He has our best interest at heart. The True Believer does not ask why he should trust God; instead, he asks, "How can I trust God more fully?" The true believer does not ask why this and that has happened or haven’t happened to me, he instead invite God to use him as He sees fit.

God loves us and wants to help us with ALL our problems (from a broken nail, loss of employment, to our struggle with Diabetes, Cancer, High Blood Pressure, to our broken relationships and our emotional trials). All we have to do is let Him in. He wants to help. He wants to be in our lives. He wants us to experience His peace but we need to read and meditate on the Word to know him better. We can only trust someone we know. Friend, get to know God. Let Him be to you what He already is: Your creator, your provider, your healer, you joy, your peace, your salvation and your everything. Let not your heart be discouraged. He is able!

No weapons of disease, no weapons of death, no weapons formed against you shall prosper. Trust God. the adversary cannot win.

Be saved! Be healed! Be delivered!

"The fear of man brings a snare: but whoever puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe" (Proverbs 29:25)

Praise the Lord!

Health & Healing Psalms (Confession)

Let the Word of God speaks louder than anyone else. All of God promises are yes and amen. They are yours. Receive them.

“I refuse to fail!” That what you need to tell the devil and every challenge in your life! No matter what storms come against you, the Greater One lives on the inside of you & He will empower you to live in victory in every area of your life. It is time to speak life over your situation! Take authority and establish a word of victory over your body. All enemies are conquered before you ever face them. Jesus defeated them at the cross. Cancer, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Dementia, Multiple sclerosis don't have any power over you. Healing is yours in Jesus Holy name. Confess this today “I simply refuse to become agitated anymore; I am holding on to my peace at all costs. Reject fear, and embrace faith. Let your heart remain fixed trusting in Jehovah.

1. Psalms 118:17 “I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of Jehovah.”

2. Psalm 6:2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am weak: O Lord, heal me, for my bones are vexed.

3. Psalm 30:2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

4.Psalm 103:1-3 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all thine iniquities, who heals all thy diseases.

5. Psalm 102:1-2 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee. Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

6. Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

7. Psalm 73:26 My body and mind may waste away, but God remains the foundation of my life and my inheritance forever.

8. Isaiah 54:17 “no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD.

9. Psalms 91:1-16 - Friend, this is a glorious psalm. Confess it, pray it.
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.

My God is AWESOME at problem-solving ... He IS the Problem-Solver.

11. 1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

14. James 5:14-16 “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. ”

15. Matthew 21:21 “Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith,and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”

16. Jeremiah 30:17
"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the LORD.

17. Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Father how grateful I am for your love! You are my everything. I am at a crossroad. I totally depend on you. You are my healer. You are the One I turn to for help in moments of weakness and times of need. I ask you to be with me in this illness. Psalm 107:20 says that you send out your Word and heal. Please send your healing Word to me. In the name of Jesus, drive out all infirmity and sickness from my body. Thank you for healing me mind, body and soul in Jesus name.

Are you praising your Heavenly Father for what He has already done for you? You are healed, made whole and disease free. Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus.

Psalm 30

1 I will exalt you, LORD,
for you lifted me out of the depths
and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
2 LORD my God, I called to you for help,
and you healed me.
3 You, LORD, brought me up from the realm of the dead;
you spared me from going down to the pit.

4 Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people;
praise his holy name.
5 For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.

6 When I felt secure, I said,
“I will never be shaken.”
7 LORD, when you favored me,
you made my royal mountain[c] stand firm;
but when you hid your face,
I was dismayed.

8 To you, LORD, I called;
to the Lord I cried for mercy:
9 “What is gained if I am silenced,
if I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise you?
Will it proclaim your faithfulness?
10 Hear, LORD, and be merciful to me;
LORD, be my help.”

11 You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12 that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
LORD my God, I will praise you forever.

Today is the Best Day of Your Life

Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord. Always give thanks to God the father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:20-21)

It takes an instant for the situations of our daily life to change. I prefer to enjoy God today, by praising Him, and thanking Him for his grace, his mercy and unconditional and unmistakable love for me while I still can.

Are you one of these people who are waiting until things are going well in "all areas" of your life before you enjoy your life? News flash: tomorrow may never come for you. Take this moment to thank God for all He's done so far and praise Him in advance for the coming blessings.

Are you one of these people who feel that you have nothing to be thankful for? Think of salvation. God sent His son Jesus Christ to die for you, a humiliating death, on Calvary in order for you to inherit eternal life. You don't need anything else. Life is the best gift you will ever receive, if you haven't done so yet, pray this prayer now: Heavenly Father, I refuse to wait until I get good news before I thank you, help me be aware of all my blessings today, before tragedy strikes. You are a wonderful father, the best caretaker I could ask for. I submit my destiny, my will, my entire being to your capable hand today; Do unto me, as you will. I thank you for all my past, present, and future blessings; and I thank you most of all, for sending Christ Jesus to die for the forgiveness of my sins and it is by His Holy name I pray. Amen.

Friend, make it part of your daily routine to praise and thank the Lord for your many blessings, whether you recognize it or not, you are constantly being blessed, protected and loved by God.

Be happy today, and always! You are loved.

Praise the Lord!

Exercise Your Authority

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed". Isaiah 53:5

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

I often hear Christian say that it is the will of God for them to be sick. God is probably teaching them a lesson when they get ill. You need to know this and act on it today. It is not the will of God for His children to be sick and poor but the devil's. He has convinced people into believing that God is putting them to a test. Jesus bore our sicknesses so we wouldn't have to be sick. There's authority in the word of God and we must act on it. Christians don't know that they must apply the word of God in their lives. The Bible is not for the early Christians only; it is as valid today as it was 2000 years ago. You have to apply the Word of God to your life.

When you get sick or facing a financial challenge you have to cast it out by speaking the word of God. You have to fight with the Word and that is why it is so important that you know the Word, People perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Jesus didn't suffered sickness on earth until He received every disease that could affect mankind on the cross. "He took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). We don't have to beg for Healing. We are children of the most High God, and He already provided the medicine to our diseases and it up to us to exercise the power and claim the victory and rebuke the devil for we have the authority in Jesus name. As Jesus hung on the cross, He said, "It is finished" (John 19:30), it meant that God's plan for redemption was done. Jesus was the sacrifice. The work is done. You can have your miracles financial and physical and emotional; it is the will of God for you. The word of God is the will of God.

"Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick."(Luke 9:1-2)

"And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease." (Matt. 10:1)

Praise the Lord!

My Soul is Thirsty for God......

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1

One thing I ask from the LORD,this only do I seek:that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. Psalm 27:4

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

Have you ever been thirsty for God? Really thirsty for His presence? When a person is thirsty nothing else matters. He does everything he can to crunch that thirst. The Bible give us a few examples of people who were thirsty for God. We know for sure that David was thirsty for God. He said so. He wrote and sang about it. God satisfy his thirst and even called him a man after His heart. In Luke 8:43-47, we meet the woman with the issue of blood. She suffered for twelve years. Yes, she was thirsty and she heard about Jesus. “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” She pursued Jesus, touched him and she was instantly healed. Who can forget Paul passionate words in Philippians 3: 7-10 "But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death." Wow! Paul was thirsty.

when a person thirst for God, prayer, fasting, praise, worship and even going to church are feverishly pursued. You can be completely honest with God. Tell Him how you really feel. "I am thirsty as well Lord. I need you Father. Everything is upside down. I don't know where to go. I don't know what to do. I just looked in the mirror and I did not recognized the person who was starring back at me. I am seeking you face Lord. Do not turn from me. Who do I have but you? I need you more than I ever needed you before. Everything seems grey. Don't hide you face from me." He will hear you. He will touch you.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. Psalm 32:8

Father in the Holy name of Jesus I come to you today. I want to thank you being a good father who cares a great deal about me. I repent for ever putting anyone or anything above you. From now on you are all that I need Father. My soul longs for you. My soul is thirsty for you. Reveal yourself Father. Step in and take control. I surrender to you. I praise you. I honor you for only yo are holy and worthy. Amen!

Praise the Lord!

My Soul Longs for God.......

My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all the day long,
“Where is your God?” Psalm 42:3

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Does God care? If so, why don't I experience any sense of his presence? I am sure you have been there? Do you know what I am talking about? This feeling of deep sadness, despair, inner torment, lack of peace, afflicted, sense of loss, anguish, intense loneliness, anxiety, heartbroken and feelings of abandonment in this world. You know God loves you intellectually but you feel unloved and forsaken. You fast, you pray, you cry, you plead and all seem useless and fruitless. You feel as tough God is not listening and you receive no guidance from the Holy Spirit. Do you know what I am trying to express? It is loneliness to the deepest level. The kind that makes one weep to no end. It is the time when one longs for God and yet He seems distant and unmoved.

I have experienced such moments more often than I care to share. If you look into my eyes, you would be able to discern my past sorrows but I hope you would also see hope (Let all that I am, wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him). -Psalm 62:5. I carry scars just like any soldier. You and I are soldiers in the army of Christ but we don't encourage each other like other soldiers do. If you have been in the church long enough, you would know that we do not share our discouragements due to fear of judgments. Believers are quick to point the finger and accuse each other of sinful living. So we keep quiet and we suffer in silence. So what is the cure for such horrible condition? I found out that the cure lies in faith. When you feel alone, down, out and misunderstood and you have nowhere to turn is actually the time when you need to hang on to the truth. You need need to hold on to the promises of God. You need to remember that God promised to never leave you and forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). He promised to be with you until the end of age (Matthew 28:20). regardless of what you see and feel, you must remember that "the just shall live by faith" (Hebrews 10:38). My dear friend, faith is not about how we feel. It is about acknowledging the faithfulness of God despite what we feel. GOD IS REAL and whether we sense His presence or not, does not change the truth: He is real and He is Omniscient and Omnipresent. He sees everything. He is everywhere. He knows you. He knows your situation and He cares. Praise the Lord!

Satan is a deceiver. He will try to make you believe that no one cares and you are alone. My dear friend, just because your telephone stops ringing does not mean you are alone. The friends you thought you had turned their backs on you and yet you are not alone. Your spouse walked out, you children moved away, you lose your job, and all sources of income, you are hungry, you lost your home and you are sick in your body and mind but you life still has a purpose. It is not over yet. You are still here. God is not through with you. Hallelujah! God is able. He is bigger than your circumstances. When it hurts so bad that you can put your feelings into words, turn your face to the wall and start praising God. He is working it our for your good (Romans 8:28). You may not understand it. You may not see how it is going to work out but I assure you it will. Do not let you circumstances distract from what you know to be true: God loves you (John 3:16).

I really did not want to share this with you today but I sense that the Holy Spirit is ministering to somebody and maybe He is ministering to you. God wants you to know that He has not forgotten about you. You are not alone. He loves you. Regardless of the reasons for the condition you find yourself in, the solution is and will always remain in God. Have faith in God. Refuse to let go no matter what you see and no matter what you feel. Persistent and unshakable faith in God is what will carry you to the next level. Have faith and God will lift you up and restore you to the rightful place of blessing. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4 If you sin against God, pray, repent and come back to Him and like the prodigal son, He will restore you and He will satisfy your soul with His holy presence and fill you with joy as no one else or anything can.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Oh Father how grateful I am for your unconditional love! Thank you for being so patient with me. I am a difficult child but you have not forsaken me. Thank you for revealing your true nature through scripture. Thank you for lifting my heavily burdened heart and filling it with renewed joy and hope. Thank you Father for remaining you when I go through my stages of confusion. Thank you for being my strength in times of great pain. I praise you. I adore you because only you are Holy. Only you are worthy and only you are God. In the name of Jesus Christ, your son, I pray. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

I Could Sing of God's Love Forever......

I will sing of the LORD's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. Psalm 89:1

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. Psalm 59:16

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

Do I truly believe that God loves ME and has a plan for ME? Absolutely. There is no doubt in my mind that the living God David experienced and wrote about is real. He is my Creator. He loves me and he has a (good) plan for my life. I live by it and will be willing to die for it. There is no way that God does not love me and there is no way anyone can make me believe that my existence is meaningless. Despite my many heartbreaks, losses, sickness, pain and setbacks God has been faithful. He loves me and He loves you.

How do I know God loves us?

He says it Himself.
Jeremiah 31:3: The LORD appeared to us in the past,saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness."

He demonstrated His love
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
1 John 4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Friend I don't wrestle with truth. The Lord says it, that settles it. I accept God's truth. Even if it was not written anywhere I would still know of his love because I experience it in my own life daily. There isn't a day that goes by without the revelation of God's love in my life. The older I get, the more alert I am in recognizing His love. I would take me a few hours to talk about all of the wrong in my life but I could talk about God's love forever.

1 John 5:13 "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." When it all said and done, victory is yours. Time on this earth is not long even if you and I live to be 120 years it is still nothing compare to eternity. You and I will get to spend eternity with God. You should be encouraged right now. Sickness, disease, pain, lack, loneliness, loss, rejection, humiliation are all going to end. They will not last forever. God's love makes it possible. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

You maybe discourage right now because the challenges are many and they are great but you know in your heart that God loves you. Examine your life and be honest with yourself and you will see that everything that you have gone through has prepared you for this season of your life. You may not understand it but you know it is going to work out for your good. Friend, you have a purpose to fulfill and a dream to follow. Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are facing, God knows. He cares and He loves you.

Father how grateful I am for your unconditional love! You are a good father who only wants the best for me. Thank you for the comfort of your Word. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ your son to die for me. Thank you for the assurance of eternal life. I praise you father God. I honor you and I give you glory for only you are worthy. Only you are Holy and only you are God.

Praise the Lord!

God is the Promise Keeper

Again, I say to you, that if two of you are in agreement on earth about anything for which they will make a request, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. Matthew 18:19

Does God really mean such promise? The only way we can grasp the meaning of a promise like this or any of His promises is if we have real wisdom, "and if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him". (James 1:5). Why would He make such promise? He did simply because He loves us. God is love. He is motivated by love. It is almost impossible to trust His selfless love because we are not familiar with it here on earth. Now, "Quid Pro Quo", you do this for me, and I will do that for you is something we understand. We are always looking for motivation hidden behind a behavior. You and I should understand that God is dependable. He has power to keep His promises. He doesn't lie. He doesn't change. People chosen by God who accomplished something for Him chose to believe His promises. You can and should rely on His love and His infinite Wisdom. Moses trusted God and knew Him well because he said "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" (Numbers 23:19). What did God say in the last book of the Old Testament? "I the Lord do not change" (Malachi 3:6).

Now, the promise of giving you what two of you agree on is a promise that God will keep because God is the “Promise Keeper” and He keeps all of His promises. If you don't have anyone to share this promise with, ask God to send someone to you. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive" (Matthew 21:22) Pray with them for their specific need. They'll pray for yours. You may count us at Bible Tour your prayer partners, too, if you wish. His promises are powerful, because of His love.

Trusting is not something that comes naturally to us. It has to be attained. We go through life experiencing certain hurts and disappointments (cause by those who are supposed to love us), and they leave certain scars and a bad taste in our mouths. These disappointments need to be recognized and be released if we are to learn to trust.

Can we all trust God? Really trust Him? Can we trust Him with our hearts, our resources, our relationships? our lives and our souls? Absolutely! There was nobody before Him and there will be nobody after Him. He is the Alpha and The Omega. He had no predecessor. He will have no successor. He is the source of all things. He is all things. He is the giver of life. He is life. He is the joy out of every sorrow. He is the light of every darkness. He's the peace that passes all understanding. He is the giver of every good and perfect gift. You can trust that He will keep all of His promises. Friend, you can and should trust God. He will keep His promise to you. He is He Promise Keeper.

Praise the Lord!
