Read the Word of God............

Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. (Proverbs 4:23)

My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. (Proverbs 4:20)

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)

"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits .Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." I recently read this somewhere and I thought it was so interesting because I believe that very few Christians have been taught how important it is to pay close attention to what they think about. There is a reason why the Bible urges to meditate on Gods word. Did you know that you are what you are right now because of what you think about in your heart and what you meditate on? Consequently, the things that you allow your heart to dwell on today are building what you will be for tomorrow and the day after that.

Meditation is a function of the mind and the heart. It is what we think about in our hearts. Whether we realize it or not, we all spend a great amount of our time in some form of meditation. My concern is what we meditate on may or may not be worth while. In fact, what we habitually think about is frequently unhealthy for our growth as Christians and often it is sinful. So, technically, you are living the life you imagine (meditate on/ thought that you could have). Imagine that! LIVING A LIFE OF DEFEAT, DESTRUCTION OR A VICTORIOUS, HEALTHY AND SUCCESSFUL LIFE IS UP TO YOU. I believe that we can (and must) train ourselves to have a pure thought life. If we do this, we will start to see changes in our attitude and behavior. Our hearts will start to become pure and we will enjoy the pleasure of the Lord.

Your mind and your heart are both like clay being shaped and formed with each passing thought every day. So pay attention to what you think, the television shows and movies you allow yourself to view. Pay attention to what you read and the people interact with. It is very important to surround yourself with believers. Do not let anyone contaminate your heart with the seeds of unbelief (in God and His Power) and defeat. Run away from negative thinkers. The Bible isn't something that you should just read once in your life, but something that you need to read, re-read, meditate on, speak out, listen to, read it all over again and study as long as you live.

The truths in the Bible become clearer and alive as you read them again, and they work their way into your spirit and heart where they give life and hope, and where they build faith. When you stay in the Word of God, you will know what God's will for your life is and you become familiar with His promises and you will become stronger at resisting the devil. If you meditate on the word of God, you'll already know what to do when you are tested on your faith. The fact is if you don't have enough faith in God's word you won't be able to please Him enough to get all of His promises, rewards and blessings. All you have to do is start believing that you can meditate on the promises from the Bible and that it will be most beneficial to improving your life. If you want the best for you and your family, then you will meditate on the promises from the Bible.

"If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." John 15:7

Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8
Meditate on the word of God and be blessed.

Psalm 110

 The LORD says to my lord

“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”

2 The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”
3 Your troops will be willing
on your day of battle.
Arrayed in holy splendor,
your young men will come to you
like dew from the morning’s womb.[b]

4 The LORD has sworn
and will not change his mind:
“You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek.”

5 The Lord is at your right hand[c];
he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
6 He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.
7 He will drink from a brook along the way,[d]
and so he will lift his head high.

Psalm 135

Praise the name of the LORD;
praise him, you servants of the LORD,
2 you who minister in the house of the LORD,
in the courts of the house of our God.

3 Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good;
sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.
4 For the LORD has chosen Jacob to be his own,
Israel to be his treasured possession.

5 I know that the LORD is great,
that our Lord is greater than all gods.
6 The LORD does whatever pleases him,
in the heavens and on the earth,
in the seas and all their depths.
7 He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth;
he sends lightning with the rain
and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

8 He struck down the firstborn of Egypt,
the firstborn of people and animals.
9 He sent his signs and wonders into your midst, Egypt,
against Pharaoh and all his servants.
10 He struck down many nations
and killed mighty kings—
11 Sihon king of the Amorites,
Og king of Bashan,
and all the kings of Canaan—
12 and he gave their land as an inheritance,
an inheritance to his people Israel.

13 Your name, LORD, endures forever,
your renown, LORD, through all generations.
14 For the LORD will vindicate his people
and have compassion on his servants.

15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold,
made by human hands.
16 They have mouths, but cannot speak,
eyes, but cannot see.
17 They have ears, but cannot hear,
nor is there breath in their mouths.
18 Those who make them will be like them,
and so will all who trust in them.

19 All you Israelites, praise the LORD;
house of Aaron, praise the LORD;
20 house of Levi, praise the LORD;
you who fear him, praise the LORD.
21 Praise be to the LORD from Zion,
to him who dwells in Jerusalem.

Praise the LORD.

Blessed & Highly Favored.............

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times; having all that you need, you will abound in every good work".
2 Corinthians 9:8

God repeats His Old Testament promise to bountifully bless the cheerful giver (Malachi 3:8-10). Our father got all that we need and He wants to give it all to us in abundance when we give cheerfully and when we remain faithful in tithing. For some unclear reason believers do not like to give but enjoy receiving from the Lord. Scripture tell us clearly that our tithes open the flood gate of heaven.
We all want to be blessed beyond measure, but not all are generous with our giving. People say they don't know what to give or how much to give. Well, start being faithful with your tithes and then give according to your heart. God established the principle of Seed and Harvest”; it didn't say how generous your giving should be but it says "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" Luke 6:38. If I were you I would start giving generously if you want to receive abundantly. The word of God is the will of God that is why it is important to spend time in the word. There's life and blessing in every word of God. "The word I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" John 6:63. The will of God is in His Word, the Bible.

People tell me all the time that they are not getting enough from God and I always reply that the choice is yours. If you are not satisfied with what you are reaping, check on the seed you are sowing. Remember to sow lots of good seed cheerfully and don't forget your tithes and your harvest WILL HAVE TO COME. Seed and Harvest has been God's way of doing things since creation, I can't stress this enough. "While the earth remains, Seed and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." Genesis 8:22

Friend, our heavenly Father is a great God. He is a more than enough God. It is His will that you should have all that you want, good health, prosperity, peace, love and joy. Come to Him, live according to His will as revealed in His word, the Bible, and start reaping the advantages of living in His will. Take your rightful place as His loving child. Let Him be your father.

Be encouraged, and be blessed in Jesus name.

Praise the Lord!

Trust the Unfailing Love of God........

jesus christ on the cross photo: Jesus the Christ! Jesus-cross.jpg

How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 36:7

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

David was a very spiritual man. God said "a man after my own heart." He admitted feelings of loneliness and expressed them through writing and song, in his psalms. The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone." (Genesis 2:18)` The reality is there are so many people struggling through life to make sense of it all. There are tons of people who have gone through a divorce and heart ache, some with the same story that you or I might have. I think what happens is when we go through hard times, somehow we feel like we are the only one going through it. We tend to feel like no one else has been through this or even see the vulnerable places of our heart and can relate to what’s going on in your life. This may be true, but even so, we still have God on our side, and He is the one who really matters. God wants us to trust Him. He does provide for those who put their trust in Him. When He wanted to provide for Abraham, He tested his faith by asking him to sacrifice his only son (we know that God did not spare his own son for our salvation). God wants us to trust Him. He does provide for those who put their trust in Him. When He wanted to provide for Abraham, He tested his faith by asking him to sacrifice his only son (we know that God did not spare His own son for our salvation). My favorite preacher put like this: "Faith is not believing in God in spite of evidence but it is obeying in spite of consequences."

Christians still count on their own ability, and when in trouble, they get discouraged if they are unable to see a way out. They burden or worry time and again and finally, in absolute frustration and when they have done all they know to do, they finally throw up their hands and declare that it's now "in God's hands?" Friend, God should not be your last resort. God will really provide for those who trust in and understand that He is indeed Jehovah Jireh. God can do all things. "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist" Colossians 1:16-17. As believers in Christ, you and I must trust the Lord. When troubles come, we must trust that God it all under control and that He has our best interest at heart. The True Believer does not ask why he should trust God; instead, he asks, "How can I trust God more fully?" The true believer does not ask why this and that has happened or haven’t happened to me, he instead invite God to use him as He sees fit.

God loves us and wants to help us with ALL our problems. All we have to do is let Him. Even our minor concerns matter to Him. He wants to help. He wants to be in our lives. We need to read and meditate on the Word to know God better. We can only trust someone we know.

"The fear of man brings a snare: but whoever puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe" (Proverbs 29:25)

Praise the Lord!

Prince of Peace.......

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!" Mark 4 39-41

Friend, sometimes we have to face storm. There are some very painful storms. This world in which we live can be a sad and lonely place filled with storms of heartaches, disappointment, disillusionment, and pain. I am talking about the kind of storms that arrive when you find out that someone who promised to love you never meant it or had changed his/her mind. Sound familiar? I’m speaking of the kind of storms you face when you come home and the person you love the most is waiting with bags packed but is not taking you with him/her. I am referring to the kind of storm when the doctors are unable to make eye contact or when they are shaking their head negatively. I am speaking of the kind of storm when a stack of bill is waiting to be paid and you arrive at work to find out that you no longer have a job. My friend, the good news is: when we have Christ onboard we can rest assured that our storms will pass. Praise the Lord!

You are probably in the middle of a storm right now? Please know that it is not by accident but by design. Jesus most likely wants you to experience His peace. You may feel alone but you are never alone. You may not see Him or feel His presence at times, but I assure you, He is still with you. Like me, you probably don’t want to encounter any storm. You probably want to live a boring and unpredictable life with everything unshaken. Or you may want your storm to disappear just as soon as it comes. But I do not believe we can manipulate God into avoiding the storms or somehow making them suddenly disappear. The above scripture teaches us that sometimes we have to face storms whether because we were disobedient to God or even because of our obedience. It is through our storms that we see the glory of God.

My dear friend, if you are like me, what you fear is what you are unable to control. We cannot force anyone to love us or to be loyal to us. We do not have the power to protect ourselves or the people we love every minute or everyday. But Jesus has the power. Why not trust Him to calm our storms? It is His presence, His love, His power, and his tranquility that brings us peace. The prophet Isaiah called Him the prince of peace because of His ability to offer peace. If you are in the middle of a storm at this moment ask Jesus to bring peace to your heart and mind. Remember that Jesus is the One who holds your future. Trust that He will answer the worries, the fear and the uncertainties of tomorrow. Remember, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3 Jesus knows about the pain that is ravaging your heart, the pain that torments you and keeps you up at night. Ask him to bring you His peace and He will.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27

May you experience the presence of the Prince of Peace in your life today and always!

Teach our Children the Joy of Serving God.............

These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:6-9

John 12:25-26 (NIV) "The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me."

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

Teach them early. Teach them about His love, his grace, His infinite goodness. Teach them the importance of servanthood  Children do not belong to the parents, but to God and while here on earth, they have the responsibility to raise them in manners that honor God. In Mark, it is stated that Jesus told his disciples to "Let the children come unto me." Jesus valued children and He understood their potential to further the kingdom.When you do things God's way, you receive the benefits of that relationship. As you develop your relationship with Christ, you can be free from worry and anxiety, addictions, and many other problems that seem to consume young people. It is beneficial to the parents in many different levels to teach the children how and why we choose to serve the God. First of all it was not a suggestion, it was an order. Second, we already know that everything that God does is for our own good. God is a loving Father. He is love. We can rely on His love. When God commands us to do so something we can be assured that disobedience of any kind will cause us unnecessary hurt whereas obedience will be a blessing. God wants to keep us from harm. He wants to enjoy full life. That is why He guides us. That is why He sent Christ to die for us. God the ultimate lover. The ultimate Father. Because He created us He understands the needs of our hearts and zHe and He alone (listen up) God and God alone knows what is truly best for us.

When you do things God's way, you receive the benefits of living in obedience. You should be motivated to teach your children right not only because you love them and want to spare them unnecessary hardship, but also because of your desire to please God. It does not matter how challenging it is, God will guide you and lead you as you care for them. Give children spiritual values and not only material thing that have no lasting power. Teach children to be responsible at an early age. Teach them on the importance of living a Christ centered life. Teach them the fear of the Lord. It does not matter how they feel about it. Seek God’s approval instead of children’s. Childhood is not a time of indulgence and a time to satisfy selfish desires, but a time to train and inspire your precious ones and to develop them into mature responsible adults who value ethics, peace, and God. Choose to please God above all else. Your love to your children is secondary to your love for God. Establish God authority over your home. Your fear and love for God must be a daily reality in your homes. Be the right type of influence and be blessed.

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Psalm 127:1

1 Cor 6:19-20 (NIV) ...You are not your own; you were bought with a price...Rom 14:8 (Jer) If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord, so that alive or dead we belong to the Lord.

Gal 5:13 (Jer) My brothers, you were called, as you know, to liberty; but be careful, or this liberty will provide an opening for self-indulgence. Serve one another, rather, in works of love.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 33

Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous;
it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
2 Praise the LORD with the harp;
make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
3 Sing to him a new song;
play skillfully, and shout for joy.
4 For the word of the LORD is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does.
5 The LORD loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of his unfailing love.

6 By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,
their starry host by the breath of his mouth.
7 He gathers the waters of the sea into jars[a];
he puts the deep into storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD;
let all the people of the world revere him.
9 For he spoke, and it came to be;
he commanded, and it stood firm.

10 The LORD foils the plans of the nations;
he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
11 But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
the people he chose for his inheritance.
13 From heaven the LORD looks down
and sees all mankind;
14 from his dwelling place he watches
all who live on earth—
15 he who forms the hearts of all,
who considers everything they do.

16 No king is saved by the size of his army;
no warrior escapes by his great strength.
17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance;
despite all its great strength it cannot save.
18 But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
19 to deliver them from death
and keep them alive in famine.

20 We wait in hope for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.
21 In him our hearts rejoice,
for we trust in his holy name.
22 May your unfailing love be with us, LORD,
even as we put our hope in you.

When you do things God's way, you receive the benefits of that relationship. As you develop your relationship with Christ, you can be free from worry and anxiety, addictions, and many other problems that seem to consume young people.

When you do things God's way, you receive the benefits of living in obedience. You should be motivated to teach your children right not only because you love them and want to spare them unnecessary hardship, but also because of your desire to please God. It doesn’t matter how challenging it is, God will guide you and lead you as you care for them. Give children spiritual values and not only material thing that have no lasting power. Teach children to be responsible at an early age. Teach them on the importance of living a Christ centered life. Teach them the fear of the Lord. It doesn’t matter how they feel about it.

Psalm 127:1

Word of God .......

“And how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy: 15-17

Friend, whatever you are looking for in life, it starts with God. He is the Source. People tend to forget who God is when they are going through the tough times, in reality, when facing challenges we must always focus on the word of God. It is absolutely critical that we, as the people of God, be firmly, unshakably, anchored in His truth. The world is looking at us. Our lives must reflect the power of the living God. For some reason, God's people constantly want to drift. Christ promised to never leave us alone, but we worry when facing adversity. David said, "I esteemed your words more important to me than my daily food, more precious than riches of gold and silver." We can only acquire spiritual strength by meditating upon the word of God. The psalmist said in Psalm 119:105 - a verse that many of us have memorized - "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." The word of God sheds light to enable me how to live, how to proceed. There cannot be darkness in the presence of God.

Are you going through a confusing and challenging time? Lean on God and meditate on His word. Joshua was going through a tough time, but he stood firm because God told him he would have success as long as he meditated on the book of law. He was told not to let it depart out of his mouth. He was told to stay focused on it. Uncertainty and confusion can only set in when we lose our focus on the word of God.

It is through reading God’s Word that we come to acknowledge His righteousness and that which He requires of us; friend, study the Bible for that is where you'll learn of God and His plans.

Praise the Lord!

You Can Change............

Strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)

Striving for the kingdom of God means to always stand for what’s right, but it is a difficult thing to accomplish; it takes determination, because when you are in the process of changing, the opposition is going to come from unlikely places. Your family and friends may turn their backs on you. People fear the unknown and the person you’re becoming is unknown, a stranger to them and they will be afraid and they may even call you a few names such as weirdo, goody two show, and extremist, just to name a few. The truth is you will also be puzzled by the transformation. You will lose interest in certain familiar things because you are “under construction”. The old you will start dying in order to make room for the new anointed you. It can be a very lonely place to be but I am urging to keep on and move forward by continuing to follow God. It may be confusing now but it’s going to make sense soon. You are going to find out that you are indeed an extremist: extremely blessed, extremely prosperous, extremely smart, extremely excited and extremely changed and anointed child of God.

When you are saved, turn your life over to Christ (born again), the Holy Spirit begins to work within you and brings the best out of you. Your perspective on life changes because you will learn to walk by faith and not by sight. It will not matter what the situations of life is, you will learn to trust the word of God and you will always have peace in the midst of great challenges. It is an exciting transformation and the people who are close to you may become intimidated because as you spend more time reading the word of God and growing spiritually, you end up spending less time with your family and friends and it’s going to take some getting used to. You have to find a way to communicate to love ones what’s happening to you and hopefully they will understand, but if they chose to forsake you or ridicule you, don’t panic. God has a way of accepting those who are forsaken and He certainly bless those who put Him first. When you give God’s word your full attention you will find true happiness and fulfillment you never thought possible and you can be assure that you will never face another lonely day in your life because the Holy Spirit will always be with you. Friend, embrace who you are becoming in Christ Jesus. Enjoy the person God created you to be, and savor the transformation, don’t resist it. Find balance in the word and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

Sowing and Reaping.........

Do not deceive yourselves: God is not mocked; for whatever a man shall sow, that also shall he reap. Galatians 6:7

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.2 Corinthians 9:6

As I have observed, those who plow evil and those who sow trouble reap it. Job 4:8

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Your actions of today determine your future. If life, death, healing, sickness, poverty and prosperity, insecurity, confidence and protection are in the power of the tongue, than you can surely determine whether you are going to be prosperous or live in poverty. You can also decide whether or not I enjoy perfect health. If you confess or speak the word on healing, prosperity, long life, protection and believe in your heart, that the word has already done, what it says it would do, you will be healed, prosper, live long and be protected. If you confess or speak sickness, poverty, death and insecurity and believe in your heart, that those conditions will occur in your life, you will stay sick, poor, die prematurely and live a life of insecurity. The choice is yours.

It is true that people only say it when they want to manipulate or instill fear but to reap what you sow is actually uplifting news for those who sow good deeds, but real bad news for those involved in sinful and ungodly activities. Think about it for a moment: You cannot harvest apple when you sow orange. The principle of seeds and harvest is God's law therefore irrevocable; there is no escape, either for the believer or for the unbeliever. It is a law of life. So what are you sowing today? Are you sowing pride? Have you been sowing the word of God? Are you sowing love? Have you been sowing words of discouragement? Are you supportive? Can your friends count on you? Are you sowing joy? What would your friend say about you? Are you one of these people who changes so much that your friends don't even recognize you sometimes? Do you even have friends? Remember that you are a soldier of Christ Jesus. He should be your example in every way. God keep all of His promises. God is true. His Word of Promise is sure. In all His relations with His people God is faithful. No one ever yet really trusted Him in vain. We find this precious truth expressed almost everywhere in the Scriptures. God's people need to know that faithfulness is an essential part of the Divine character. It is the basis of our confidence in Him. But it is one thing to accept the faithfulness of God as a Divine truth, it is quite another to act upon it and applying it in our lives. God has given us many promises, but are we counting on His fulfillment of them? Are we actually expecting Him to be true to His Word?

Be one of these people friends turn to first when in need. Don't hide from your friends because you suspect that they might be in needs. Don't wait until they have called you numerous times to be there for them. Sow seeds of friendship, sow seeds of love, and sow seed of joy and comfort. Sow seed of kindness. Sow peace. Sow loyalty and harmony. Do not run at first sign of trouble. Be an encourager. Sow seed of limitless patience. Sow the word of God and be blessed.

God and God Alone...............

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5

I don't believe that God is in the business of wasting time. Obviously, He created the universe in less than one week. I believe that God is purposeful and He says what He means and He means what He says. I also believe that every word of the Bible is God inspired. In the Old Testament and again in the New testament, God commanded us to love Him wholeheartedly. He initially said it, and then later Jesus reinforced it by repeating it.

Friend, God wants ownership of our hearts. He wants to dwell in our hearts. God does not wish to be our last love. He wants to be our first and greatest love and every time we do not put Him first, we are in disobedience. God did not suggest that we love him. He commanded us to do so. I know for certain that heartbreak follows each time someone or something takes precedence over God in my life. As recently as recently as this year I experienced multiple mishaps due to the fact that(unknowingly)I have put certain things ahead of God. I (unknowingly) started to see someone else as my source and it took me a moment and lot of unnecessary painful days to come to this realization. The Bible urges us to be vigilent. You and I must make sure that nothing is more important than God. We must give him His righteous place. He deserves it.

Friend, you must know by now that when we rely on others we get disappointed and we fall, but the more we claim GOD as our source and recognize that HIS abundance is ours, the sooner things work out for the best. My dear friend, wee constantly have to submit to the guidance of THE HOLY SPIRIT, and constantly affirm "not my will by thy will" GOD'S plan for us is perfect full of joy that translates into ecstasy. OUR FATHER is fine.Psalm 145:8 says that the LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. Remember that the first sin entered the world was when mankind separated himself from God by doing something forbidden and from that sin all the others follow.

Constant sadness, envy, fear, doubt, loss of enthusiasm, diminished hope, insecurities, hopelessness and lack of confidence are signs that we have taken our minds off of GOD. None of those can inhabit a heart in which God resides because God is love, joy, peace and abundance. An overflowing Heart can not experience loneliness and feeling of inadequacy. It is imperative that you and I keep our hearts and mind fix on God. Listen, the Bible says in James 1:17 that Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. it is great that God bless us with companionship and some treasures but nothing should replace God.

Friend, focus your mind, heart and spirit on OUR FATHER, pray that HIS will be done and submit to it completely and all things will be added....

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 28

 To you, LORD, I call;
you are my Rock,
do not turn a deaf ear to me.
For if you remain silent,
I will be like those who go down to the pit.
2 Hear my cry for mercy
as I call to you for help,
as I lift up my hands
toward your Most Holy Place.

3 Do not drag me away with the wicked,
with those who do evil,
who speak cordially with their neighbors
but harbor malice in their hearts.
4 Repay them for their deeds
and for their evil work;
repay them for what their hands have done
and bring back on them what they deserve.

5 Because they have no regard for the deeds of the LORD
and what his hands have done,
he will tear them down
and never build them up again.

6 Praise be to the LORD,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.

8 The LORD is the strength of his people,
a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.
9 Save your people and bless your inherit

Great God!

Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead? Acts 26:8

Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God--I say this to your shame.1 Corinthians 15:34

www.bibletourwithjoline.com

Why does it seem incredible to any of you that God can raise the dead?Friend when was the last time you thought of all the things God has done? I promise you, when you make Jesus the focus of your life, you will become a person of praise for He is worthy to be praised. It is important to understand that in Hebrew the phrase hallelu yah (halal) is in the imperative form which is a command. Thus, when you read the words "Praise the LORD" at the beginning and conclusion of many Psalms, including one of my favorite, (Psalms 113), you should understand that the psalmist is telling “you” personally to praise the Lord by opening your mouth, and start singing to God. Do you trust in God’s mercy regardless of the situation you’re living in? Are you depending on Him in everything (good, bad and ugly)? Are you praising Him daily for His mercy and sufficient grace? You need to start praising God.

Dear friend, God deserves and merits our praise in big assembly, but He will accept our praise anytime and anywhere. (Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. Psalm 96:3). Our Father in heaven deserves our praise. If there is anything in your life keeping you from enjoying a relationship with The Incredible God, repent and confess it to God and invite The Holy Spirit to help you change so that you can become the son/daughter God created you to be; and if there is anyone you know who does know The Incredible God yet, make the decision to share the good news of Christ with him/her as soon as possible.

God has always been great. He deserves praise. Praise God from whom all blessings flow; praise him, all creatures here below; praise him above, ye heavenly host: Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen! (Thomas Ken, 1674)

Praise the Lord!

Comforter........That's who Jesus is to me

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

The Holy Spirit is a real person who came to reside within the believer on the day of he/she is saved. He is considered to be the third member of the Godhead. He is a person equal in every way with God the Father and God the Son. "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper that He may be with you forever; the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." (John 14:16-18)

The Holy Spirit is not an impersonal force; He is God's way to give us rest in our time of needs. "The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you." (John 14:26).

It is not a sin to be weary. Again, God knows that there would be time when we would need to be comforted. There certain things that we go through no body is able to understand, there are time that we cannot even express what we feel but God understands. He made us, He knows where to touch, and He knows exactly where the hurt is. He knows are to access our ":CPU".

Come to me" is an invitation, He will not intervene unless you invite Him in. We tend to tell our friends everything about our lives but we tend to be too polite when it comes to God. We don't want to bother Him; we pray for a few second, we don't spend the time to tell Him about all that is in our heart. He is omniscient, all knowing but you still need to tell me about your trouble because only God can give the rest, the comfort that you are looking for.

I can't say it enough, come to God, and stop telling the people who are unable to help. Call on the true comforter, the Holy Spirit and get the real comfort. He will build into our lives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), in addition to God real comfort.

Take some times today to talk to your comforter; in fact, make a daily date with Him to build your relationship and be blessed.

Be comforted in Jesus name.

Praise the Lord!

Help Lord!

Fear not; for I am with you. Be not dismayed; for I am your God. I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

Do not be afraid or terrified; be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:2).

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

We often forget that Jesus experienced pain also. As Jesus was about to raise His friend Lazarus from the grave, the Bible reported that He cried. (John 11:35). He feels your loss and pain too because He loves you so much. Jesus sadness was equally apparent the night before His arrest, Do you remember that He asked His father to change the future, but only if God was willing. He knew what the future held and yet He had the courage to fulfill His mission. (Praise God!). He had the courage to face the tough times and fulfill His purpose. He will also give you courage as you are going through your difficulties as well.

Where is God when it hurts? Frankly, He is right next to you sometimes; and other times holding your hands, cheering you on, comforting you and whispering Isaiah 54:17 to your hears "No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me" and Romans 5:3-5 ...We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love. Dear friend, Jesus is the Prince of Peace and when you invite Him in, He come along with His peace.

To be courageous is a command, and to not being courageous is to be disobedient to God. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, do not be terrified; do not be discouraged for I will be wit you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9). "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us," Paul said "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:37–39).

Friend, there's no greater joy and peace then to surrender your being to the Lord and trust that is more than capable of taking care of you. Surely His arm is not too short to save nor His ear too dull to hear (Isaiah 59:1). Just put your trust in Him and go to Him with all of troubles. In pain, grief and love, God is always near. In our dark and lonely moments we may not have a complete understanding and we may not answers to the questions of suffering, but we can surrender ourselves into the hands of the one who made us, the one who does have the answers, and who will faithfully walk with us and lead us through the dark valley.

Be courageous, be fortified, and be blessed in Jesus name.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 122

 I rejoiced with those who said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
2 Our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem.

3 Jerusalem is built like a city
that is closely compacted together.
4 That is where the tribes go up—
the tribes of the LORD—
to praise the name of the LORD
according to the statute given to Israel.
5 There stand the thrones for judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love you be secure.
7 May there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels.”
8 For the sake of my family and friends,
I will say, “Peace be within you.”
9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God,
I will seek your prosperity.

Why do Christians get burdened and weary? Do they understand who the Holy Spirit is and what He does?The Holy Spirit is a real person who came to reside within the believer on the day of he/she is saved. Have Faith in God!

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Matthew 28:18

He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. (Mat.10:1, 5:23-24).

Why don't we pray anymore? Christians don't believe in the power of prayers and fasting anymore. When someone we love gets sick, whether it is the common cold, diabetes, or cancer, I want you to know that it did not come from God. We are too quick to accept affliction and diseases as the will of God. Scripture tells us that the will of God is for His people to be well and to live long prosperous lives and to help win souls for His Kingdoms. It would be impossible to accomplish that from the grave. In fact, most wonders of the devil in the gospels are to produce all kind of sicknesses and diseases. Jesus gave us the power to heal the sick and to cast out demons. The demon-possessed boy was healed by the faith and prayer of the father. The best thing we can give to our relatives is our faith and prayer, to our spouse, children, and grand-children, and even our neighbors. We don't have to run to anyone, you can pray for your family. Some people never even try. Jesus says "Everything is possible to those who believe" Mark 9:23, and then He says: if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Mt.17:20).

"Faith in Christ" is the most powerful force of the universe, able to heal the body, to stop storms, to move the mountains of hatred and doubts, and most specially to fill us with love, with Jesus in our hearts, the seed of the love, joy, peace, and security that nothing or nobody can take away (Rom.8:37-39). Faith in Christ" is something very simple and yet powerful, when we trust God, amazing things happen:The father of the boy above believed and Jesus healed his son, by the faith of the father. The woman in Mark 5 believed Jesus could heal her if she just could touch him she touch him, and she was healed, she stopped the bleeding she had for 12 years.
Jairus, in the same chapter, thought Jesus could resurrect his daughter, and Jesus resurrected her! Glory to God!

The Syrophoenician Woman in Mark 7:25-30/Matthew 15:21-28 believed Jesus could heal the epilepsy of her daughter and the daughter was healed, by the faith of the mother.
And the same goes on and on with the leper, the blind Bartimaeus, another pagan and again another miracle. Nowadays for you and me to have "faith in Christ" is the same. God is no respecter of man, what he did before, He has the ability and the will to do again.

Are you facing a difficult season right now? Release your disappointments, your heartbreaks, your hurt, your pain, your failure, your bills, your lack, your loneliness and all other burdens to God in prayers. Trust Him to take care of your needs and He will. God is able and willing, and all He needs is "your" faith. Only in one occasion in all Gospels Jesus "could not" make miracles, and it was in His own town of Nazareth, (Mark 6:5). Not even Jesus "could" make miracles when there was no faith! It is faith that allows God to work miracles in your life.

Would you put your faith to work today?

Praise the Lord!

The Living Word of God

Faith and Prayer

Psalm 41

 Blessed are those who have regard for the weak;
the LORD delivers them in times of trouble.
2 The LORD protects and preserves them—
they are counted among the blessed in the land—
he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.
3 The LORD sustains them on their sickbed
and restores them from their bed of illness.

4 I said, “Have mercy on me, LORD;
heal me, for I have sinned against you.”
5 My enemies say of me in malice,
“When will he die and his name perish?”
6 When one of them comes to see me,
he speaks falsely, while his heart gathers slander;
then he goes out and spreads it around.

7 All my enemies whisper together against me;
they imagine the worst for me, saying,
8 “A vile disease has afflicted him;
he will never get up from the place where he lies.”
9 Even my close friend,
someone I trusted,
one who shared my bread,
has turned[b] against me.

10 But may you have mercy on me, LORD;
raise me up, that I may repay them.
11 I know that you are pleased with me,
for my enemy does not triumph over me.
12 Because of my integrity you uphold me
and set me in your presence forever.

13 Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting.
Amen and Amen.

The Lord is with You!

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

When we apply God's word to situations and circumstances in our lives, God will meet the need! No matter how big the need or high the mountain, we serve a God that is a Need Meeting God! We sometimes forget or don't realize that the God we serve is a big God, He holds the world in his hands and there is no problem too complex for our God to solve. What seems impossible for man is possible for God. If we stop complaining and feeling sorry for ourselves, abut start confessing the Word of God, and Thanking God we will see God move in our lives like never before. God's word is sharper than any two edged sword; It accomplishes that which it is sent to do. Friend, confess the word about the need, Thank God for his favor, and wait with expectancy! God is waiting for the opportunity to meet your needs if you would only call on his name.

Everyone has been through a valley experience! A valley experience is when you are misunderstood and at your lowest point, heart wrenching disappointment, or penetrating loneliness, deep hurt. Your heart may have been broken, you may have been rejected by someone who promised you forever, your bills may be due and no money in the bank, no foreseeable job, One thing after another, it seems like you get over one problem just to face another; or you may be cornered by all kind of challenges, friend, you are in your valley. We often want to hurry or run through our valley, or wish we could sleep through it because it's an uncomfortable place, but God allows us to walk through the valley to teach us, to make us, and to show us his awesome power in our lives! How would you know God was a deliver, if he's never delivered you! How would you know he solves problems if you never have any? How would you know he heals if you never been sick? How would you know that he provides if you never have a pressing need? How would you appreciate His love if you never been abandoned without any clear explanation? And how would you know He picks up the pieces if you never been broken?

God is a God of timing. God works according to his time table not ours. We sometimes don't want to give God the time to work things out. We want it right now! In the storm (waiting time), it seems too difficult to hold on but God will come through in due time. Don’t go ahead of God. Why don’t you just hold on a little longer? Hold on and trust God and know that he is a God will that work it out just in due time.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 44

We have heard it with our ears, O God;
    our ancestors have told us
what you did in their days,
    in days long ago.
With your hand you drove out the nations
    and planted our ancestors;
you crushed the peoples
    and made our ancestors flourish.
It was not by their sword that they won the land,
    nor did their arm bring them victory;
it was your right hand, your arm,
    and the light of your face, for you loved them.
You are my King and my God,
    who decrees[c] victories for Jacob.
Through you we push back our enemies;
    through your name we trample our foes.
I put no trust in my bow,
    my sword does not bring me victory;
but you give us victory over our enemies,
    you put our adversaries to shame.
In God we make our boast all day long,
    and we will praise your name forever.[d]
But now you have rejected and humbled us;
    you no longer go out with our armies.
10 You made us retreat before the enemy,
    and our adversaries have plundered us.
11 You gave us up to be devoured like sheep
    and have scattered us among the nations.
12 You sold your people for a pittance,
    gaining nothing from their sale.
13 You have made us a reproach to our neighbors,
    the scorn and derision of those around us.
14 You have made us a byword among the nations;
    the peoples shake their heads at us.
15 I live in disgrace all day long,
    and my face is covered with shame
16 at the taunts of those who reproach and revile me,
    because of the enemy, who is bent on revenge.
17 All this came upon us,
    though we had not forgotten you;
    we had not been false to your covenant.
18 Our hearts had not turned back;
    our feet had not strayed from your path.
19 But you crushed us and made us a haunt for jackals;
    you covered us over with deep darkness.
20 If we had forgotten the name of our God
    or spread out our hands to a foreign god,
21 would not God have discovered it,
    since he knows the secrets of the heart?
22 Yet for your sake we face death all day long;
    we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.
23 Awake, Lord! Why do you sleep?
    Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever.
24 Why do you hide your face
    and forget our misery and oppression?
25 We are brought down to the dust;
    our bodies cling to the ground.
26 Rise up and help us;
    rescue us because of your unfailing love.
