The Lord Provides!

As the two walked on together, Isaac spoke to his father Abraham. "Father!" he said. "Yes, son," he replied. Isaac continued, "Here are the fire and the wood, but where is the sheep for the holocaust?" "Son," Abraham answered, "God himself will provide the sheep for the holocaust." Then the two continued going forward. Genesis 22:7-8

Friend, God does not see into the future. He knows it. Abraham trusted God to provide a lamb for the sacrifice, and just when he was about to kill his only son, God stepped in and offer a substitute. God is indeed our provider and we should trust Him to take care of all of our needs. I absolutely love the way God steps in my own life. Every time I think that it is over, every time I think that I am at the end of my rope, He releases another inch of his ever-long rope. "My son God will provide" was Abraham reply to Isaac and in due time God did provide, and then Abraham honored God by calling Him the provider.

God had provided for him in the time of his extremity, so He will provide for all of those that put their trust in Him. The God of Abraham is alive, and let His name be praised, and let us rest assured that, as certainly as Abraham, Jacob and Daniel in distress, the Lord appeared for them and was seen, God shall be with you and I when times of extreme pressure come. We shall all be tried and tested, but in our utmost need God will see to our deliverance, if we would just trust Him. The Lord is the Provider of men. Friend, I pray and long for all of us to get this truth firmly planted in our hearts. I pray that you let yourself be reminded of Abraham and all of those before us who trusted God to be their provider and were not even once deceived.

God is no respecter of man. What He's done for one, He certainly can and will do for all of his children. You just have to put your faith in His ability to provide for all of your needs. We know God is our provider because He says that He is. "So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him" (Matthew 6:8). The problem is that most of us don't have patience. We don't often wait for God; we get in more trouble and delay our blessings by making our own ways. Our Father does not know lack, He knows abundance. He wants to give you everything more abundantly. Romans 8:32 tells us that God shall supply our needs according to His riches and that we cannot have a need too great for God to supply. Glory!

So friend, what is your pressing need this morning? Whatever it may be, God's has unlimited supply of it. His unfailing, uncompromising and ever living word should satisfy your mind now and for all of eternity. God's wealth is at your disposal; His healing (emotional, physical and spiritual) is at your disposal. Don't continue to torture yourself by refusing to take God at His word. You are His child, His creation. You are His personal property, and He desires to give you His perpetual care and complete attention. I want to remind you that The God of Abraham, Daniel and Jacob is still in perfect control. He is able and willing to do all things. You must take the initial step to believe His word and you need to remind yourself every morning that you serve Jehovah Jireh. He provides. Allelujah!

Speak Truth!

Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. Mark 11:23

A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Proverbs 18:20-21

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Faith pleases God. Circumstances are subject to change at any minute, but God will never change what He has said. He says, For "I am the Lord, I do not change."When we hold on to our faith in God's Word, circumstances will change. Jesus says to speak to our mountains. He never says to call thy best friends and every family member to talk about thy mountain. Christians just don't understand and sometimes, it costs them dearly. When you discuss your situation with you friend for example, you form a silent agreement. He or she starts feeling sorry for you and then they telling you who else faced similar challenges and did not make it and before long it becomes clear that you also might not make it. Unknowingly, you are in agreement with the devil.

Friend remember, the devil is already defeated. When you speak words that are not in agreement with the Word of God you are acting as Satan's agent. You are releasing it to the spirit realm. You are giving the devil authority to act in your situation by you using your power against you. Remember that life and death are in the power of the tongue. By discussing your situation over and over again in negative light you are causing negative outcome to come to pass. You must learn to take authority over the words of your mouth. Speak in agreement with God. Speak life. Speak victory or remain quiet.

Friend when you have a problem, you cannot run to your friends and all the people you think might be able to help you. You need to learn to take authority (as per Christ command and speak to it). For instance, you cannot tell anyone how sick you are all day long and expect healing; however, you must remind your body what you need it to do: Body you are healed. By His stripes you were healed. You are blessed coming in and you are blessed coming out. No weapons form against you shall prosper. You shall be the head and not the tail. the Lord will cause your enemy to come one way but flee seven way. I will live and not die. ect." You have to be in agreement with the Word of God.

The same goes for any situation. If you are looking for a job you cannot confess how hard it is to find employment in this economy. You must remember that you are not living according to today's economy. Hebrews 10:38 says, "The just shall live by faith." Instead of complaining about the economy, focus on victory. Speak to your finances and the situation will change. Friends pay attention to your words.
Most Christians just speak to God about the mountain, instead of following Jesus' directions and speaking directly to the mountain. Listen, instead of seeing yourself defeated the knowledge and blessing covenant allow yourself to see the problem defeated by speaking the Word of God. Friend, God is faithful. Do things according to His instructions and go from glory to glory.

Dear friend, what is the mountain in your life today? What stands in the way of
your victory? Could it be the words of your mouth? Remember victory is not coming to you. It was already given. Listen, whatever the circumstances of your life today, speak God's Word to that mountain. Speak to sickness and pain and order them to go. Friend, speak to doubt, fear, worry and unbelief tell them to go. Speak to debt and financial lack and tell them to be removed from your life and your entire family as a matter of fact, you have power to do so. Oh the blood of Jesus!

Our Father, and our God, we love you. Thank you for loving us and giving us clear instructions on victory. We praise you for you are worthy of our praise. Strengthen us Father in our daily living so we can represent you well in all that we do. In the name of Jesus your son, we pray, Amen.

Thank You Lord!

Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:13

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

There is always a reason to give thanks to the Lord. It is so easy to see what we don't have and yet we are blinded when it comes to noticing our blessings. During the times when I lived in my father's shed, I once woke up in the middle of the night crying and feeling sorry for myself. It was during a week that was particularly tough, but the day before I received two letters, one was another rejection for a job I was by all accounts qualify for and the other was a notice that my car was going to be taken away. There I was an adult sleeping in my father' shed, I was job less and soon to be car less.

Why me? Why was I the only one suffering? Why can't my life be the way I envisioned it and the way I prepared it to be? I have asked the same questions all nights until I fell asleep. God is so good! He woke me up and show me how blessed I was even in the midst of my job situation. I had a father who cares enough and invited me to his house. I was healthy, educated and I was fed daily, but beyond that, I thought I knew my father but it wasn't until my time in the shed that I really got to know him. In as much as I loved my mother and remembered everything about her, I have always wondered if I really knew her. What a privilege and a blessing to really know my father for the man that he is!

We often get caught up in what we want and we miss out on what we already have. What I have learned during my time of great needs is that God is good no matter what happens in my life. God is and will always remain a good father. He loves me so much that He sent His son Jesus Christ to die just for my salvation and now I have eternal life. lack may come. Famine may come. Sickness, disease, pain, humiliation and rejection may come but nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus and that is all that matters. "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2

Friend, when you receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior you become son/daughter of God. Your salvation is secured. It does not matter what happens from now on. You belong to God and that should be enough to give you joy and a thankful heart.

Thank you Father God for who you are. Thank you for opening my heart to your goodness. Thank you for loving me enough to send your son to die for my salvation. I will forever be grateful. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

Walk with God

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. Hebrews 11:8

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Ephesians 4:1

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith. Hebrews 11:7

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogsot.com

Friend, we must walk with God and not the other way around. God created us to freely choose Him. It is expected of us to walk with God but not forced upon us. The Bible tell countless stories of people who walk with God and how their lives were transformed. If we would just walk with God daily, spend time in prayer, Praise and worship instead of complaining and make an effort to live holy lives and sharing the good news of Christ with the dying world, you and I would go a long way pleasing God. Our objective is to please God by living a life pleasing to him. I can't even tell you how many times I have asked God to show me His glory by doing whatever I needed. I prayed, fasted, begged God to do certain things in my life and in return I would promise Him my devotion forever. In reality, I should start living the promise and God will meet me and not the other way around. As children of God through our Savior Jesus Christ, we do not have to beg God for anything because 2 Corinthians 1:20 says "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God." What a fool I was! I didn't understand God yet. It is through my walk with Him that He gradually reveals Himself and He continues to do so today.

Walking with God is actually one-sided. It is always His way or no way. We do not get to bargain or choose how to walk. God is the One who dictates the rules.God is Spirit and He requires those who walk with Him to do so in Spirit and in truth. Walking with Him involves us getting in agreement with Him and not Him with us. He is Sovereign whereas we are nothing without Him. You and I must long for God. We must strive for a closer walk with God. We must pursue the things of God. We must focus on things of above because that is where our father lives. To walk with God the way Enoch walked and the way Jesus walked requires that we simplify our lives. The pursuit of material things often keeps us from walking with God. To walk with God requires that we do His will no matter the cost. It demands that we forget ourselves and it entails an attitude of submission. When Christ was facing the loneliest time, greatest and deepest agony, He was submissive to His Father. He is our example. Like Him, we must submit to God and we will know the greatest victory.

Praise the Lord!

Not Alone!

And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another that He may be with you forever. John 14:16

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

What a wonderful promise! John 14 is one of the most compelling and my favorite scriptures of the New Testament. Jesus explained in great details what was to occur in the future. That’s how good God is! Jesus was facing Calvary and yet, He was concerned about the disciples. He knew the ordeal and the complications they would have to face, He took the time to prepare and to assure them that though He was going away, there was going to be another (someone just like Him). One who would be to them everything He was. Glory! The Lord Jesus Christ wasn’t thinking about the cross, He didn’t care about His own suffering to come; He was planning the disciples’ future.

In John 14, Jesus promised the gift of the Holy Ghost. Who is the Holy Spirit? He is a full member of the Trinity. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a Person, a Being with a mind, emotions, and a will. He is God. The Holy Spirit makes decisions according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). The Holy Spirit thinks and knows (1 Corinthians 2:10). The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30. As God, the Holy Spirit can truly function as the Comforter and Counselor that Jesus promised He would be (John 14:16,26; 15:26). This gift is bestowed upon the Disciples of Christ only, and not on the entire world. This is the favor God bears to His chosen. As the source of holiness and happiness, the Holy Spirit will abide with and in every believer forever. He was given to live inside those who believe in Jesus, in order to produce God's character and to build into their lives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23).

Friend, have no fear when it seems like the ground all around you is crumbling. You are not standing on the sinking sand of this earth but on the promises of the Rock, my savior and yours, Jesus Christ who will hold you and keep you standing while those around you are perishing. You are standing on the strength of the Holy Spirit whose primary role is to comfort and strengthen you. You have the Trinity on your side. You are a conqueror. Even though you are in the midst of the trial of your life right now, the devil will not win this battle because it was already won on Calvary. I don’t know who has abandoned you and left a deep void, (a parent, maybe a spouse or your children). I don’t even want to know who has left those ugly scars in your heart. I guarantee you the void was filled on Calvary and the scars were healed on the cross. You are not broken. You are wholesome in Christ Jesus! The Promise Keeper gave you His word: you are never alone. All believers are given a future with promise and a plan to succeed in all that God has called them to do. The Holy Spirit is not just with you but within you. He has been there since you made Christ your Lord and Savior and He will NEVER leave you ALONE.

Thank You Lord!

Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord. Always give thanks to God the father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:20-21)

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

It takes an instant for the situations of our daily life to change.  I prefer to enjoy God today, by praising Him, and thanking Him for his grace, his mercy and unconditional and unmistakable love for me while I still can.

Are you one of these people who are waiting until things are going well in "all areas" of your life before you to enjoy your life?  News flash: tomorrow may never come for you. Take this moment to thank God for all He's done so far and praise Him in advance for the coming blessings.

Are you one of these people who feel that you have nothing to be thankful for? Think of salvation. God sent His son Jesus Christ to die for you, a humiliating death, at Calvary in order for you to inherit eternal life. You don't need anything else. Life is the best gift you will ever receive, if you haven't done so yet, pray this prayer now:

Heavenly Father, I refuse to wait until I get good news before I thank you, help me be aware of all my blessings today, before tragedy strikes. You are a wonderful father, the best caretaker I could ask for. I submit my destiny, my will, my entire being to your capable hand today; Do unto me, as you will. I thank you for all my past, present, and future blessings; and I thank you most of all, for sending Christ Jesus to die for the forgiveness of my sins and it is by His Holy name I pray. Amen.

Friend, make it part of your daily routine to praise and thank the Lord for your many blessings, whether you recognize it or not, you are constantly being blessed, protected and loved by God.

Be happy today, and always. You are loved.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 120

1 I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me.
2 Save me, Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.
3 What will he do to you, and what more besides, you deceitful tongue?
4 He will punish you with a warrior’s sharp arrows, with burning coals of the broom bush. 5 Woe to me that I dwell in Meshek, that I live among the tents of Kedar!
6 Too long have I lived among those who hate peace.
7 I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.

Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. Psalm 113

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

God is looking for men and women who are going to be consistent and persistent in their faith-walk. People who are going to praise Him, regardless of their situations; can He count on you?

There are times in our lives that are so difficult that we’ll be tempted to believe that our efforts are vain, and we may be tempted to get discouraged, but those would be the time to trust God, and take Him at His word. Spend quiet time in meditation to find out what He has to say about your situations. The Bible says. “If we endure with Him, we will also reign with Him”. 2 Timothy 2:12; “Being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience and joyfully giving thanks to the father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.” Colossians 1:11’12

Praise the Lord friend, praise God because He commands us to do so, He desires our praise and He most definitely deserves our praise. God is Sovereign He is the Alpha and the Omega; He is “just” in all His ways. Praise Him through your hardships; praise him through your victories. He takes pleasures in his people praise (Psalms 149:4). He takes pleasure in those who fear (honor/respect/trust) Him and those who hope in His steadfast love. (Psalms 147:11). He fulfills the desire of all who fear Him; He also hears their cry and saves them. (Psalms 145:19.

Are you going through a storm today? Look upon God and not around you. We are serving “The living God.” He is willing and able to change your situation if you just let Him in. Open the door and the eyes of your heart and He will come in. The presence of the Lord always brings change. Your situation will have to change.

For more on the subject of perseverance read: Romans 8:25; Galatians 6:9; Hebrews 3:14 Psalm 37:7-9; Hebrews 10:36; James 1:2-4 and 12; Romans 5:3-4 ; Revelation 21:7; 2 Timothy 2 ;12-13 .

Be fortified, be courageous and please be patient, in Jesus name!

Praise the Lord!

God's Plan for Success #2

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2

for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Philippians 2:13

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

Most people would tell you that success is about how much money they have earned and how many degrees they have gathered, and others would argue that success is about how long they have been married and how many kids they have. Is that real success? Having your career and relationship dreams come true? Getting all you ever want? Earning enough money so that you never have to work again? Allow me to tell you that tell that real success is more fulfilling than wealth. Success is the realization of the will of God for your life. It's not how much money you have at the bank or under your mattress. It's not how healthy you are. It's not how many friends you have or how many cars, planes, houses and yachts you have acquired. Success is nothing more and nothing less, than the realization of the will of God for your life.

Friend, you cannot know success unless you pursue the will of God. Most people do not know the will of God before they never asked him what His will was for their lives. They don't ask because they are not ready to do it. They are afraid to ask because they do not want to be accountable for doing His will. The Bible say in Matthew 7:7 "Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." Do you want to know God's will? Do you want your heart's desire to come true? Ask God to direct your path. He will do it through His Word. The Word of God is the Will of God. Also, do not forget to pray. Prayer works. Prayer is still the best tool when it comes to communication with God.cFriend, when you completely rely on God, He will direct your path and only then will you know real success.

Let God lead you. Let God show you His plan for your success. Depend on God and know a peace you never thought possible.

Praise the Lord!

God's Plan for Success #1

This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.” Joshua 1:8

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

People work really hard in their pursuit of a specific goal, but they don’t work hard enough when it comes to acquiring the wisdom of God. If you really want to get the wisdom of God, if you want your word to speak wisdom, if you want to make all the right move, and go all the right way you have to do more than showing up to church on Sunday. You are going to have to get into the word. You’re going to have to seek the word of God. You might have to cut down on your leisure time time. Put yourself on “training mode”. You have to be dedicated, unreasonably focus and determined. God created all things through His divine Word. He spoke, and all things came to existence, both the heavens and the earth, both spiritual creatures and material creation. This same Word, who is the eternal Son of the Father, is called the Wisdom of God. God created us with a longing for wisdom, the only problem is that we rely on our own ability as a result we continue to go in circle, fighting the same battle, the same sins and dealing with the same issues.

Would you like to see results? Do you want to experience success on a different dimension? You have to do whatever it takes to be completely filled with the Word of God. You have been trying the same old tricks for many years, why don’t you try something new? Let God takes the lead for a change. Find out what God wants you to do and refuse to be distracted by the devil. God has experience in child rearing. He’s been raising sons and daughters for thousands of years. He will not interfere unless you invite Him in; remember that He created you with free will; you have to give Him permission. God can do it without you, but He enables you to have fellowship with Him and teaches you to depend upon Him. Will you give Him the opportunity to make a success out of you? The choice is yours. Choose wisdom, choose God.

Praise the Lord!

God Can Restore it All................

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 37:4-6

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

God can restore whatever situation you are facing today. The Bible is filled with countless stories of restoration. Redemption is major theme in the Bible. God wants his people to trust Him and to live in total peace. There is nothing that He cannot do. I am sure you remember what He did for Joshua, Daniel and many more. Do you remember the story of Paul in the island of Malta? Paul was beaten by a poisonous snake. The people of the island thought he would die and started to speculate that perhaps he was a murder and later on they concluded he must be a god. Did Paul die? Though your situation seems dangerous right now, it is not the end. Don't you worry! God wants to restore you. People maybe talking about you and laughing behind your back but God is about to lift you up for his glory. You have to stand firm and you have to hang on to the word of God. He promise to never forsake you and He will not. He is the promise keeper. He will do what He says. He can be trusted. He will restore health back in to you. He will restore your finances. Your love ones will come back to Christ."I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten--the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm my great army that I sent among you." Joel 2:25

How many times have you wished you can turn back to time and have a new beginning? How often have you wished you could get something back whether it is a health, wealth or a love one? With God every day is an opportunity for new beginning. Lamentations 3:23 says that His mercies are new every morning. God loves you so much that He chose to forgive and forget our sins and our past by the cleansing blood of Jesus. Why wouldn't He restore you? God wants you to know that He loves you. He is with you through high and low. He sees you. He hears you. He is a good Father. You are not an orphan. There will come a time when He will dry your tears and He will not allow you to be shamed and talked about anymore. This is the truth. The situation you are facing is temporary. God is going to show up in a major way.He will breathe new life into you.

Then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. Deuteronomy 30:3

Praise the Lord!

Trust God...............

Therefore do not worry, saying what will we eat? Or what will we wear? For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things". Matthew 6: 31-32

bibletourwithjoline.com
bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Putting your faith in God DOES work. I am talking from experience. I know exactly what it is like to toss and turn all night long and then take a pill the next night to sleep, and another pill or caffeine drink to keep awake through the day. I have known the fear of not having enough to pay my bills, the fear of losing house and my job, the fear of getting sick, the fear of marrying the wrong person, and the fear of letting the right person go. I have known the endless fear of living alone and dying alone. I have been tormented and challenged in every area of my life. I WAS LOCKED UP IN A PRISON OF WORRY AND FEAR FOR A LONG TIME.

One day, not even that long ago, prompted by the Holy Spirit, I opened my Bible to Matthew chapter 6 and I have been leading a different life ever since, (Praise God).
Matthew 6 is God's provision for a worry-free life. In that chapter, what our loving Father is really saying is, don't worry, I got your back. I got you covered. It is a summary of all that He is as told in various verses in the Bible. He is saying:
I am Jehovah Shalom, The Lord your peace (Judges 6: 21)
I am Jehovah Rapha, The Lord who heals you (Exodus 15:26)
I am Jehovah Jireh, The Lord who provides for you (Genesis 22:14)
I am Jehovah Rohi, The Lord your Shepherd who takes great care of you (Psalms 23)
I am Jehovah-Elyon; The Most High Lord, who sees all and can do all (Psalms 7)
I am Jehovah Sabaoth, The Lord of Armies who fights your battles (Isaiah 44:6, Malachi 3:7, and Psalms 46:7)
I am Jehovah-Nissi, The Lord Your Banner (Exodus 17:15).
Obviously when you have Jehovah on your side, there isn't a need to worry.
Besides, the word of God says "which of you can add a single hour to span of life by worrying? (Matthew 6:27).

Friend, if worrying is sign of little faith; then putting an end to worry could be the stepping-stone to building your faith up.
Make the decision to trust God. Ask Him through prayers to help you trust Him. "Ask, and it will be given to you" (Matthew 7:7)

Friend, don’t let worry and fear paralyze you for another minute. Unlock the prison door. Break free. Jesus died for you freedom. Claim that freedom in His name. Read Matthew chapter 6:25-34 and get on the road to recovery.

Praise the Lord Almighty! Praise Him Forever. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

Praise God!

Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. Psalm 113

God is looking for men and women who are going to be consistent and persistent in their faith-walk. People who are going to praise Him, regardless of their situations; can He count on you?
Will you have the courage to praise him when your spouse of twenty years walked out on you for no apparent reasons?
Are you going to praise Him when everyone around you is being blessed with material things while you were just fired?
Can God count on you when you are starting to go gray and all of your friends are married and having children and you have yet to meet your soul mate, and everyone at church and in your own family whispers loudly behind your back?
Will God be able to count on you when the world seems to be against you and all doors seem to be closing at once?
Should He count on your praise when the doctor looks at your loves ones and shake his head while telling you there is nothing else possible that he can do?

Are you going through a storm this morning? Look upon God and not around you. We are serving “The living God.” He is willing and able to change your situation if you just let Him in. Open the door and the eyes of your heart and He will come in. The presence of the Lord always brings change. Your situation will have to change.

Praise The Lord!

Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. Psalm 113

God is looking for men and women who are going to be consistent and persistent in their faith-walk. People who are going to praise Him, regardless of their situations; can He count on you?

Psalm 110

The Lord says to my lord:
“Sit at my right hand
    until I make your enemies
    a footstool for your feet.”
The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”
Your troops will be willing
    on your day of battle.
Arrayed in holy splendor,
your young men will come to you
like dew from the morning’s womb.[b]
The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
“You are a priest forever,
    in the order of Melchizedek.
The Lord is at your right hand[c];
he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.
He will drink from a brook along the way,[d]
and so he will lift his head high.

The God of All Comfort.............

No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Joshua 1:5

It is hard to admit that we are lonely because religious people would assume is because we are living in sins. David, a man after God’s heart had moments of loneliness. Jesus was lonely the night of his arrest, that’s why he asked the disciples to stay with him. Friends, make no mistake, the reality of the matter is that we have all experienced moments of intense loneliness. I am going to be candid with you; there were times in my life when my loneliness was so intense and severe that it hurts. That’s right, loneliness is not a fun feeling, it can reduce us to tears and despair. There are times in our lives when we longed to see or hear those we love. Other times we longed for the company of those we love and most of the times those we love do not want to be with us. That is why rejection and loneliness go hand in hand. It is a reality that we have to face at one time or and other. Why is a God who loves so much that He sent his son to die would let us be lonely? Why would a God who says that His thoughts towards us are greater, higher and more glorious than we can ever comprehend let us feel such extreme pain? Why wouldn't God make the entire world fall in love with us? He should at least make sure that those we love feel the same way about us, right? Wrong!

Friend, God wants to be the desire of our hearts. He wants to be the one we are desperately longing for, and our first real love. He wants us to love one another but He wants to be our number one love because He loves so much that He promised that not even death could separate us from His love. He wants to be our passion. Contrary to what people think, loneliness is not necessary results of sins. We tend to get preoccupied with the daily obligation of living that we neglect God, but He loves so much that He creates opportunities for us to run to Him, but what do we often do? We run to our love ones and our friends. There have been times in my life when I ran to friends and they were not available, or they simply didn't care about my struggle of the hour, after all they were going through their own challenges. There are marriages that are destroyed because either or both parties didn't feel totally satisfied and fulfilled with the other. Friend, your spouse was not created to play God in your life. Only God can fulfill all of your needs.

The word of God in Exodus 20:5 reminds that God is a jealous God and He does not wish to be an after thought. He wants to be everything that we need (source of joy, peace and love). God loves us so much that He created us with the need for him but when we decide to fill that void with other things, we soon realize that there are no alternatives to the comfort of our heavenly Father. We are too passionate about the wrong thing, the wrong relationships and the wrong people. Start your day with a word of prayer. Spend time in worship before you go out in the world and if you must get up 15 minutes early, than that is what you need to do. If you wake up 1 hour early to exercise, I don’t think 15 minutes out of your day is too much to give God out of 24 hours. My dear friend if you start your day with God, and spend time in prayer and meditate on his word, you will find never have to be lonely another day of your life.

Praise the Lord!

Bold Faith..........

I shall be with you," the LORD said to him, "and you will cut down Midian to the last man." Judges 6:16

You may already know the story. God wanted to use Gideon for something great God wanted to use him to deliver the Israelites from the power of Midian), so God appeared to him and share the news with him, but Gideon did not embrace the news. He made many excuses instead, even though he already knew the glory and the power of God. They were just brought out of Egypt, He was still afraid to go, then The LORD turned to him and said, "Go with the strength you have and save Israel from the power of Midian. It is I who send you." His reply was: "Please, my lord, how can I save Israel? My family is the meanest in Manasseh, and I am the most insignificant in my father's house". Again, God said go, I will be with you, but Gideon replied, if you are with us why are we going through so much? (Remember the Israelites were under the power of Midian for seven years by then). Again God say go. Does this story sound familiar? What has God call you to do? What other source of courage do you need? Who else do you need when you have the protection of the Almighty?

The problem with Christians today is that they don't seem to understand that going through is part of the process. God did not promise that they wouldn't go through stuff. He promised that He will be with them through it all. God promised victory, but Christians don't want to endure. They don’t want to be soldiers in the army of the Lord Jesus Christ. They all want to go to heaven, but they want to go our way. They want to have victory on earth but unwilling to fight. They just want to live an uneventful/boring time on earth. Victory is for fighters. I can relate to why people don't want to fight because most of the time they don’t know the outcome, but we have the promises of God to be with us. He already told us the outcome. We have the victory, the battle is won. We have the Almighty on our side. Glory to God!

Friend, trouble is going to come your way, it’s inevitable, but you are a child of promise. You have to learn to believe God’s Word. At one point or another (hopefully today) you have to start trusting Him. You have to take a step forward. you must not and cannot remain baby Christian forever. You have to grow in godliness. At one point or another, you must decide to take God seriously. Take Him at His word. Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it." (Jeremiah 1:12). God is looking for people who know His Word and live by it. He is waiting to execute. He is longing to give you the victory but you are not working the Word. We are not the first generation on earth. (the Israelites did not take God at His word after he took them out of Egypt and another 40 years in the wilderness), but wouldn't it be great if we were the generation that believes, the generation that lives without limits under the guidance and the banner of the King of kings and the Lord of Lords?

Friend, you have the victory in Jesus name, no matter what it looks like, no matter what the situation you are facing this morning. You don’t have a job? Your spouse walked out? You’re having trouble conceiving a child? You can’t seem to find the right mate? Your love ones are not saved? Are you sick in your body? The doctor refuses to make eye contact because he knows that the situation is dangerous? But friend I am telling you it’s not over until God says it is so, Glory! Friend experience God to the fullest. Put His word to work and you will know a life of possibility, a life without limit: a victorious life. You are serving a God who can do anything but fail. You are serving The God of possibilities.

“With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

Does God Care?

He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me. Psalm 144:2

As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God! Psalm 40:17

People often ask: Why is it that  God does not always deliver His people as soon as they ask? What do people suffer through horrible diseases? Why didn't God stop the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting? Why do we have national disasters such as the 2010 earthquake in Haiti? Where is God when people are suffering? Granted, people throughout the ages have experienced God's delivering power from pain, diseases, and all kind of troubles. But why do we still hurt? Did God promise relief from all troubles in the next world, but relief from only SOME troubles in this life? Why does it take long suffering before God makes a move? Didn't He promise to never forsake us? Didn't He promise us the abundant life?

Assuredly, we are never nearer to God than we are in pain. He is always near. God does not work as we do. Remember, the Word of God in Isaiah 55: 8 says ""For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD." We have to learn to lean on God and not our own understanding. God has a plan/purpose for each one of us and we must learn to yield to God. We cannot live the abundant life by resisting God. It is only when we submit to God that we will see His glory.

Some questions will never be answered here on this earth. But what I know for sure is that God  is true to His Word. He promised that He will always be with you than rely on it. Faith in God is the only way to get to the abundant life that God wants you to enjoy. Whatever you are going through, you can be sure that God is with you. He is the One who is helping you through it. You will get to the next level. You will overcome. Listen, pain may come. Sickness and disease may come, but the love of God will last always. He created you. He knows intimately. He loves you completely, and He is committed to you eternally. He will never leave you. God cares. He is concerned about every area of your life.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38

Psalm 139

Psalm 139

You have searched me, Lord,
    and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue
    you, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand
when I awake, I am still with you.
19 If only you, God, would slay the wicked!
Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!
20 They speak of you with evil intent;
    your adversaries misuse your name.
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord,
and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?
22 I have nothing but hatred for them;
    I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
