Security in Jesus!

When we are weak He is strong.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalms 91:1

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

You are probably wondering how to escape some of the attacks orchestrated by the devil. He attacks both our bodies and minds. We are really in a war. The devil disguises himself sometimes as a friend or a family member. You never know where he’s coming from and to escape from falling victims to his attacks, we have to be on constant alert; but being alert is not enough; you and I need divine protection.

Our Loving Father had already made provision for our attacks. He provided the blood of Christ. I don’t think Christians make proper use of His blood. Most of us accept our eternal life but that is about it. There is no limitation in Jesus. His blood gives life, security, and defense against our every attack. That is why it is so important to continuously ask God for His protection. You and I live in a world filled with people who indulge in satanic activities and people who don’t know about Christ. We are constantly exposed to their evil influences. When they talk to us these evil influences will manifest in subtle ways, and it’s almost impossible to detect. You may not know that it is happening because you cannot know from which background these people come from. Being alert is great but you and I need the blood of Christ. You have to stay close to God. That’s what dwelling in the shelter of the Most High means. You have to choose to remain covered by the blood. No evil can touch you if you are under the protection of Jesus’ blood. Such is the power of the blood shed by Jesus on the cross. Do you understand?

God protected His children through the blood of the Passover lamb when He struck down the firstborn of Egypt and the same protection is available to us today. The Bible offers us this protection as the way to overcome Satan and his evil forces: Let’s look at some scriptures:

1. “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 12:11
2. “It is the blood that puts away sin” (Heb. 9:26).
3. “First of all, the blood of Christ is a propitiation for sin”. In Romans 3:25
4. “Take away, then, the old leaven, so that you may be a new mass, even as you are without leaven. For Christ has been put to death as our Passover”. 1 Cor. 5:7
5. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Rev. 13:8
6. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace”. Ephesians 1:7
7. “but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin”. 1 John 1:7

None of us is immune to the devil’s attack but we have a secret weapon in our battles: we have the blood of Christ. Glory! The blood of Christ regains for us all that Adam lost by sin, and brings us much more than we lost. We have eternal security. We have power over sins. We have protection against the devil’s attack and we have victory (in every area of our lives) through the blood of Christ. Start gaining access to all of the benefits of your coverage provided by the Blood of Christ and be blessed.

Live by the Word!

We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Do your children believe that the most important in thing in your life is your relationship with God? Do you tell them to live a certain way and yet you live another? Surprisingly, most people do just that. They spend a life time teaching right from wrong and yet the children take the road of self-destruction. They often wonder the cause and the answer is simple: They simply do as you do and not as you say and taught. Your actions speak louder than our words. It is nice to teach your children but they learn the most by watching you. They handle situations as you do. Are you emotional, always ready to lose your temper? Are you a person who thinks before speaking or divulge everything that comes to mind? Do you pray over each and every meal or do you just dig in? There are a million little things that we do that affect our surrounding and we don't even realize. It doesn't matter how many times we tell our children not act as we do because they will most likely do it anyway.

We have a responsibility to teach our children to be good soldier of Christ. Serving God is not a grown up thing. It is not something that they would eventually grow into. It is something you need to teach them as early as possible by both your words and actions. It is the will of God. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) This tremendous forewarning and promise is for parents, prospective parents, grandparents, relatives, and anyone else who has a heart for children. It is absolutely reliable, since "all the promises of God in him are. "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God" 2 Corinthians 1:20. The true and living God, who cannot lie, will keep this promise; our responsibility lies in the first word, train. But before we get to that, we must consider the way. Training also includes examples.

Be adults who put God first by your words and actions. Don't fall apart when trouble come, fall down on your knees instead. Let your children see that you believe in God's promise to take care of all of your needs. Spare your children the pain that comes with unbelief, lead them right. Spare them the hurt you experience by resisting God's will for too long. Don't let them go astray, spare them the iniquity. Be a great leader in your family and community by allowing your actions to speak louder than your words and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

God Heals!

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.James 5:16

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

I don't now what you have heard but I know for a fact that my Father still heals. Just last night I was touched with His healing hand. I am a living testimony of God's healing power and I am not referring to just the physical. He also touch the emotions and the finances. God can touch any are of your life if you invite Him into your situation by praying and trust Him to do what only He can. He is able. He is willing.

Religious people follow every sentence with "If it's God's will" or "I'll just leave it up to God" or "God willing" but Christians know that when it comes to their well-being, God is always willing. 3 John 1:2 "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." God's help is always within reach through prayers. He wants us to pray to him for help. In Luke 18:1 Jesus told his disciples that they "should always pray and not give up." and then Jesus asked "...will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night?" People say that miracles don't happen anymore but I am reminding you the power of God is still manifesting. Pray to God from your heart for healing and all of your other needs. Don't ever stop. Don't ever give up. God wants you well.

The Healing ministry of Jesus Christ covers about 1/4 of the Gospel. Jesus taught the disciples how to pray and heal. He sent them to carry on His work. Wouldn't Jesus want His followers to pray for healing today? I truly believe He would. Friend, you need to continue to pray for healing and we (believers) need to pray for each other's healing. The bible is filled with healing scriptures:
James 5:14-15 "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elder the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven."

James 5:16 we are asked to "confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." and then told that "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."

Mark 11:23-25 Jesus further instructs to forgive when we pray "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, `Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."

My dear friend, be assured that God wants you well, that prayers work and that miracles still happen. Don't you ever give up. Don't you ever stop praying.

Father in the name of Jesus touch my mind body, soul. Heal me from head to toes. Heal my broken heart. Repair my relationships. Heal my finances. Open the doors for that new job, but most of all Father, help me stand on your word. Help me be more like you each day. My heart's desire is to always put you first. Thank you for all you are about to do. Thank you for my healing. Thank you for that new job. Thank you for the revival of my finances. Thank you for the renewal of my relationships. Thank you for the salvation of my loved ones. I praise you and I adore you for only you are holy. Holy you are worthy and only you are God.

Keep your Focus on God!

For our present trouble, which is only for a short time, is working out for us a much greater weight of glory; (2 Corinthians 4:17)

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp

Matthew 9:28-29 tells the story about how Jesus asked these blind men, "'Do you believe that I am able to do this?'" What did they say? "'Yes, Lord.' Then he touched their eyes and said, 'According to your faith will it be done to you,' and their sight was restored.'" The Bible is full of God's promises, but unlike the promises that we make, God's promises are true and he fulfills every one. Abraham believed God's promise that he would be the father of many nations. He did not waver through unbelief but was made strong as he believed in the promise of God, because he knew the one who promised it was able to perform it. You have to rest assured that God is still able to perform miracles. He is able to hear and answer your prayers. God gives us grace every time we pray. God is able to answer your prayer, and if you are born of God, He will most certainly answer it. Contrary to popular belief, God does not only answer prayers about our great needs. He gets involved in our minor troubles as well. He is a loving and concerned father. He cares about everything about us. You can trust Him and go to Him with all your complications.

Jesus Himself lived like that, in daily unhindered communion with the Father, He went to Him all the time so that He could say to His Father and our Father, "I knew that you hear me always" (John 11:42). And all the teaching of Jesus about prayer shows that we too can have communion with God. Friend, the normal Christian life is a life of regular, daily answer to prayer. It is perfectly normal for an obedient child to ask God for things in prayers and get it, get all he wants. "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" (Matt. 7:11). Trust God, He will not fail you. Dare to be a Daniel. Read your Bible for the better you know God, the easier you'll find it to trust and obey Him. And the more you'll sense how deeply God cherishes you, and how desperately He wants to answer your prayers. So learn more about God each day. Grow closer to the glorious God who treasures you beyond your wildest dreams. You can trust Him.

Focus on God. Focus on His love. Focus on His plan for your life. Focus on Him and be blessed!

Walk in Victory!

"Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, so that your words may give grace to those who hear". Ephesians 4:29

"In all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us". Romans 8:37.

I said it before on Bible Tour, and I am saying again: Christians have to be careful when speaking. Our vocabulary must exude confidence in God and a life of victory. We have no business claiming that circumstances are keeping us down. No matter what it looks like and no matter the pain, Christians must trust God. Faith honors God.

Jesus died to change our circumstances. He died to provide us a victorious living. Our words and attitude should reflect His glory. He died to give strength to those who are weak, and to give sight to the blinds, to give victory over sins and "our Circumstances, our issues".

You and I have to start walking and talking with power given to us by the resurrection of Christ, by his great victory of death and sins. Somehow when tragedies strike, we tend to forget what we got in Jesus. Listen, we have a provider, healer, a friend, and a miracle worker in the Lord Jesus Christ. When He is with us , nothing, I said nothing (cancer, diabetes, hypertension, multiple Sclerosis, dementia, liver and kidney disease), not even our debts should scare us. We have Christ. He is able and willing to do it all. Listen, it human to feel weak at times, but we cannot dwell on the sorrows. We have to learn to stand in faith and claim the victory we got in Jesus.

Christ victory on Calvary enable us/you to live a victorious life. You are no longer in bondage. Don't let your aches and pains and your daily circumstances keep you from claiming the victory already given to you two thousand years ago. You must start living and talking in victory for you are a victorious and loved child of God.

Watch your words when speaking. Encourage each other and build each other's faith. Remember that "faith comes by hearing the word of God" Romans 10:17.

In John 14, Jesus promised the gift of the Holy Ghost. Who is the Holy Spirit? He is a full member of the Trinity. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a Person, a Being with a mind, emotions, and a will. He is God. The Holy Spirit makes decisions according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). The Holy Spirit thinks and knows (1 Corinthians 2:10). The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30. As God, the Holy Spirit can truly function as the Comforter and Counselor that Jesus promised He would be (John 14:16,26; 15:26).This gift is bestowed upon the Disciples of Christ only, and not on the entire world. This is the favor God bears to His chosen. As the source of holiness and happiness, the Holy Spirit will abide with and in every believer for ever. He was given to live inside those who believe in Jesus, in order to produce God's character and to build into their lives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23).

Friend, have no fear when it seems like the ground all around you is crumbling. You are not standing on the sinking sand of this earth but on the promises of the Rock, my savior and yours, Jesus Christ who will hold you and keep you standing while those around you are perishing. You are standing on the strength of the Holy Spirit whose primary role is to comfort and strengthen you. You have the Trinity on your side. You are a conqueror. Even though you are in the midst of the trial of your life right now, the devil will not win this battle because it was already won on Calvary. I don’t know who has abandoned you and left a deep void, (a parent, maybe a spouse or your children). I don’t even want to know who has left those ugly scars. I guarantee you the void was filled on Calvary and the scars were healed on the cross. You are not broken. The Promise Keeper gave you His word, you are never alone. All believers are given a future with promise and a plan to succeed in all that God has called them to do. The Holy Spirit is not just with you but within you. He has been there since you made Christ your Lord and Savior and He will NEVER leave you ALONE.

You Can Lean on God!

In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free.In my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. Psalm 18: 5-6

God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. Psalm 66:19

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjolne.blogspot.com

I remember when I was a little I never used to worry about anything. My mother made it abundantly clear that I should come to her with every problem (big or small). I trusted her completely because she knew how to ease my pain and relieve my burdens. Not once did she let me down. She took every complaint to heart. I remember waking up at nights to the sound of her voice praying over me and my siblings. It was a real comfort to me. After she passed away I had to learn to go to God myself. I had to learn to lean on God. I did not know it then but I realized later in my childhood that I leaned heavily on my mother. She was my rock. There is nothing wrong with a child leaning on a parent. The problem was that I trusted her more than God.

Searching for a person that would fill the void my mother left in my life lasted from childhood to adulthood. My search led to many unnecessary heartbreaks. Over the years I have learned that I am left disappointed each time a person or something takes precedence over God in my life. Despite the best intentions, people, at some point will let me down. The truth is people have their own burdens. Over the years, God has taught me to come to Him with my burdens. It is a lesson that I had to learn the hard way. It wasn't easy but I finally learned to make God my first stop and not my last after all else failed.

That is the way that it is supposed to be with God. We should be relying on Him for everything (support, help, joy, peace, and protection). God should part of ever decision we make. When we are faced with those tough situations that we don’t understand, we should go to God and lean on Him. We can’t trust in our own ability to solve our own problems. It is easy to think that we have all the answers. If we trust in our own abilities to solve problems, then we are going to get ourselves into trouble. I know this for a fact. I have gotten in more trouble than necessary by trying to fix things. Do not be impressed with who you are, your education, your upbringing, or what you know. Leaning on your own understand brings stress and discontentment, but learning to lean on God brings peace, joy health and success

My friend, abandon yourself to His trust. He is worthy. Your parents, spouse, and friends will fail you. God will never fail you. His love endures forever. He will not get tired of hearing from you. He will not hide when you need Him the most, and He will not discuss you with others. Friend, failure comes from following our own plans for our own lives. Stress comes from doing our own thing and planning our own way. Success comes from leaning on God.

Praise the Lord!

We often discussed the things that made the Devil feel at home in our lives. The list is quite long, but You understand by now, that anything that does not glorify God in your life attracts the Devil.

You can pray, you can fast, you can ask people to lay hands on you and cast the Devil out of your life, but I nothing will change until you repent and make the quality decision to stop Satan's influence over your life. You have to be willing. Now it does not matter what area of your life need the change, it can be victory over sins, it can be restoration of your mind and soul, or physical health, it can be emotional wholeness, nothing will change until you make the cautious decision to get "your" victory. Remember, Jesus had asked the man at the pool of Bethesda, wilt thou be whole? (John 5:6). He did not ask him would you like to be well. The man had to be willing in order to receive healing.

God sent Jesus to the cross to carry our burdens, to give us victory over sins and to make us whole. He bore our sicknesses, He carried our diseases, and He already won every battle "you are facing by His death on Calvary, but it takes decision from your part to receive the victory you are searching for. It requires determination on your part before you can actually achieve victory. Decide to be free today.

God Answers Prayers!

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work within us." Ephesians 3:20

God is still in the business of answering Prayers. You can and should bring all of requests to Him. It makes absolutely no sense to carry your burdens when you can just easily take all to Him in prayers. All things are possible to God, and through the blood of Christ on Calvary, all things were made possible to you. Believe in God's word, don't limit Him or yourself.

You can do all things through Christ which is in you. (Philippians 4:13).
You can heal, and be healed. You can be delivered; you can prosper in Jesus name. You
can be set free out of the mess your life has become. (Mark 16:17)
The power of the blood of Christ is limitless.
You can have it all. Everything is possible for who believes (Mark 9:20 and Mark 10:26).

Friend, the word of God will not fail you and you have to believe it. Oh!!! How I wish I could believe for you. You have to believe for yourself. Your have to meditate. You have to keep the word of God alive in your heart, soul and Spirit. You have to go for it with all that you have. You have to cling to the word of God, when you're going after your miracles. You have to be persistent. God will strengthen you as you grow in faith.

Jesus Saves!

In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.Psalm 18:6

We often speak of salvation and I wonder if Christians understand what salvation really is. Most Christians know that God has promised not only to save the person from sin, but to keep him saved. Heb 7:25 "Therefore Jesus is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them." We can rest secure in Christ because Jesus is both "the author and finisher of our faith". Heb 12:2.

Now, since the work of salvation is finished, it was was completed more than 2000 years ago, We only need to trust Him for it. There is nothing left to be done. Jesus did it all. He has given His word that He will be with us always. We need someone to be by our side for support. The Bible tells us that we are not alone. God has promised never to leave us. Heb 13:5 "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Believers know they are saved because God has the power to keep the believer from falling. God promises that He will do so.

But was Jesus' sacrifice on the cross limited? Salvation is limitless. If Jesus sacrifice can save you from eternal death, you can certainly be healed today. Which is greater salvation or healing? Surely eternal life is greater. My friend Jesus wants you well. Do not worry. AT the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. Cancer, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and all the others shall bow at the name of Jesus. You don't have to worry. Place your faith in God and be healed. I do understand the daily trials and the pain of physical ailments but I know from experience that Jesus still heals. He still saves. He can and will touch you if you ask Him to do so, He is always willing. It does not matter what it looks like and it does not matter what the doctors are saying. Put your faith in God and be healed.

Praise the Lord!

God Provides!

And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
Matthew 6:30

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.com

The difference between mankind and all of God's creation is obviously the connection with God. He ordered everything to existence (Gen 1:11), yet with man He made his body from the dust of the earth, but his spirit and soul were immediately from his Creator, "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" (Gen. 2:7). The very essence of who we are is part God. He breathed part of Himself into us, the part that gives life because He is the God of the living. He promotes life and not death. "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. God is not the God of the dead, but of the living" (Matthew 22:32). The God who gives us life also knows how to preserves it while we are here on earth. God is not a father who worries about our soul alone, but of the body also. That fact is made clear in the above scripture. Our creator made 2 interesting points in Matthew 6:25-34. First, he made sure that we know our place in the order of creation (we are number 1-He cares for us way more), and second, He promised to take care of all of our needs.

So why do Christians worry? My favorite preacher's most quoted verse answer the question perfectly; "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" Hosea 4:6. They don't know God because He reveals Himself in His Word and unfortunately they don't read the word. There are some professing Christians who say that faith is a supernatural principle, a Divine gift from God; therefore, it is not their fault that they are still struggling with faith. They claim that it is outside their power and province to do anything in order to obtain an increase of it. Consequently they go through an entire life continuously defeated and never experience the victorious power of the Word of God. Such passive way of life is in no way honoring or pleasing to God. The Bible tells us that the way to get more faith is to put to work the measure which we already have and to use the means God has appointed. (HIS WORD). Your duty is to read daily God's Word, to meditate thereon, and lay the Divine promises on our hearts, to urge our souls to believe, to strive and fight against doubts and distrust. Have you ever noticed how some people never get to read the Bible with us during church services? It doesn't matter how long the chapter, some people will take the entire time flipping through pages, disturbing those of us who are reading because they don't know where anything is. They are not familiar with any of the books for the simple fact that they don't read. If you want to please any one, you need to know their like and dislike, you have to spend time with them. A relationship with God is no less important. You must play your part. You must seek Him and He will embrace you.

The Christian must fight against evil thoughts of lack and complaints and must hold on the Divine promises of God and assure himself (constantly) that the "Lord will provide".

Get familiar with God by reading His word and you will never have to be anxious another day of your life.

My God is Omniscient!

Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. Psalm 121:4

he LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever- Psalms 138:8

God will not let you down. Have you ever felt alone? We need someone to help us get through the tough times, don't we? I don't know about you but for me, there never seem to be anyone capable of being around for me at all times. People are preoccupied with their own issues. I was looking back on my life and I realized that through all of my difficulties in my early adult life, I have never had anyone to support or guide me through and no matter how tough the situation might have been, nobody has ever offered support. It might be hard to believe considering that I am a "people person". I am also from a large family and I have attended large churches most of my life. I often had to seek the help, and on more than one occasions, my search had led me to the wrong people (you know, the people with hidden agenda). Seems depressing, doesn't it? I know from experience that it does get lonely in this world. But you know what? My comfort finally came from the realization that no matter how difficult those situations were, I always come out of them because God was with me and if I were weak He was always strong. I never needed to beg for His help. He willingly came to my rescue each and every time, the only problem was that I did not always want His help. I wanted Him to send someone else to help. It took time to understand and accept that God is all that I ever needed and all that I will always need.

If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. Psalm 139:8

Dear friend, the Bible says that God will never leave you nor forsake you. He is Omnipresent, which means He always there and He is everywhere at the same times. He is with you always. He is with you through times of great blessings and through adversity. When you are going through your difficulties and no one seems to care, do not go to the wrong people and don't be dismayed, He is with you. Praise the Lord!

Personally I used to run to the same people when I am in trouble and predictably, they always let me down because people have their own agenda and challenges. It is very important to learn to count on God. He alone can provide the comfort that you so desperately seeking. The sooner you learn this lesson, the better. You will spare yourself a broken heart if you can learn to turn to God first. Don't wait until you run out of option. God should be the first and only option. If need be, He will send the right people in your life but relief come from Him. Amen.

God is our Father, and a good One. He does take care of His children. You can come to Him. He will not turn His back when you need him the most and that is a guarantee. Trust Him and you will experience His glory. He wants to "WOW" you. Would you give Him a way in? He wants you to feel safe. He wants to sit you on His lap and assure you that everything is going to work out fine. Would you let Him? He got the world in His capable hand. He created the world, but nothing is as valuable to him as you are. GLORY! He is already your Father, please, make the choice to be His child and be blessed. Count on His love and be blessed!

God is Always There. You Can Count on Him.

Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord. Jeremiah 23:23-24

Undeniably and Indisputably Loved.

“Now my soul is deeply troubled. Should I pray, 'Father, save me from this hour'? But this is the very reason I came! John 12:27

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibleourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.com

The word "love" is so misused and overused in our society that we hardly know what to think and how to receive it when someone says, "I love you." People seem to be on a constant quest to find new love of the week because their kind of love is temporary and base on performance. But Jesus came to show us love at its best. He came to show us God kind of love. Nothing made us attractive to God! The original sin made us  despicable to God. But despite our shortcomings it was God's pleasure, it was God's will to predestine us to be adopted as His children. Praise God! I don't know about you, but this truth is freeing to me. In personal relationships, even those with our spouses, are sometimes tricky.  We have to consistently remain on our toes or else we face the consequences.

Friends, it brings me great joy and peace to know that I don’t have to worry about being perfect. I don't have  to be on my best behavior at all times while looking over my shoulder, wondering if God is going to shut the door or abandon me because I blew it yet again by doing or saying the wrong thing. God loves us as we are, imperfect and all.  It is okay to be us. We do not have to put on an act for God. We do not have to worry that God might change His mind about loving us  because of poor performance or because of tendency to be less than perfect or even because of our controversial past. This the way I see it: God already knows the worst about me -- and He chose to love me! God's love is unconditional. God loves me!My dear friend,  God loves you! He loves us both despite our imperfections, quite a delight contrary to temporary, and "Quid Pro Quo" earthly love.  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Roman 5:8

Only love has the power to drive Jesus to accomplish what He did on that cross. Only those of us who have loved someone deeply can begin to understand what Jesus was going through during His last week on this earth. I don’t know about you, but I have great difficulty being away from those I love. I don’t enjoy separation. As stated earlier, In this world we tend to love on the basis of performance (we love people who stimulate and challenge us), and yet love still tend to be beautiful, enjoyable, and something worth finding. But Romans 5:6-8 tells us that God's love is not based on our performance! God's love, instead, is unconditional. So Jesus and the Father are one and Jesus knew that time had come and He also knew that death would separate Him completely from the Father. No wonder He felt troubled! It would have been so easy for Him to ask the Father to spare Him and the above scripture clearly tells us that the thought had crossed His mind but He was caught between a rock and a hard place. He loved the Father and He also loved us. He opted to  go with the original plan, the Father's will. He went for His Father's plan of redemption. Jesus chose to save us in accordance to God's will.

Friend, if like you are longing for love and complete acceptance, seek no further. God will not reject you because He loves you too much.  Praise God! The Cross of Christ is the clearest, loudest, most powerful "I love you!” ever proclaimed. Jesus loves us so much that He stretched out His arms so wicked people could nail Him to a cross. That's how much He loves us. When speaking of Jesus' love the only question that comes to my mind is why does He love us so much? I do not know about you but I am as imperfect as it gets. The Bible does not elaborate on the reason but it makes it clear that Jesus does because He is love. Jesus died on the Cross to take our (yours and mine) place and make complete payment for our sins so that we could spend an eternity with Him forever in heaven! He chose to die for us rather than live without us. Wow! We are absolutely, totally, completely, and indisputably loved!

Father I thank you for your love. Thank you for opening the eyes of my heart so I can receive your love. Thank you for continuing to perfect what has concerned me for so long. Thank you for the sacrifice of the cross. Thank you for your son Jesus Christ, my savior and Lord!

Praise the Lord!

I Surrender....

"Be alert, your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8

Praise the Lord!

Jesus Is My Healer!

Jesus said to him, I will come and heal him" Matthew 8:7

Psalms 30:2 NKJV) O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.

(Psalms 6:2 NKJV) Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.

(Psalms 103:1-4 NKJV) Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! {2} Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: {3} Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, {4} Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,

(Psalms 107:20 NKJV) He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

While meditating on this verse, the first thing I realized is that Jesus did not hesitate. When he was told about the Centurion's servant, His instant reply was "I will come and heal him". There was no debate, no hesitance on his part. He was able, willing. Jesus hasn't changed. He is the same yesterday and forever (Malachi 3:6).

There is good news for you today. Whatever you're facing: emotional, physical or spiritual trial, Jesus wants to heal you. He is able and willing. His answer for your problem is" I will come and heal you, "I will come and bless you". The same word of healing that came out of His mouth so many years back, are still being spoken on your circumstances today. Spend times meditating on God's healing promises and remember that His desire is for you to be well and nothing is impossible to God and He loves you. Your well-being is a concern to God. The Holy Spirit is with you right now, helping you through whatever it is you may be going through right now, align your thought-life with His ability to heal you right now and get your healing in Jesus name.

Stay away from people who don't believe in miracle because they still happen every day. God is a working God. He doesn't stop. When you go to sleep He is still working. Keep on praying and "Expect" your miracle. Don't underestimate your prayers. There is power in the prayer of faith (James 5:14-15), Power to destroy any mountain, restore broken lives and rise up those who have fallen. Have a praying man/woman of God agree with you in prayer. Have a parent intercedes on your behalf. Go after your miracle with all that you got and "EXPECT" to receive it.

Praise the Lord!

About Fear.................

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

"I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear? Isaiah 51:12

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day. Psalm 91:5

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Fear can keep people in deep bondage. I believe that the dominant fear that people have is the fear of death. Friend, Jesus came to die and rise in order to defeat the devil and take back the keys of hell and death forever. Now, if you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, then you do not have to fear death because you know for a fact that even when the body dies, you will continue to live on. You have eternal life. My dear friend if your greatest fear is death, you may rejoice because there is no reason to fear death, and if you not afraid of death because you know you will be with Christ, then why should you be afraid of anything else or anyone else, ever again for that matter? Jesus told us to not be afraid of man or any devil. God is the One whose opinion counts; He is the One we should respect and honor; He is the One whose word will last forever.

Let us confess the word of God concerning fear from the Old to the new testament.

1. Genesis 26:24, That night the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham."

2. Deuteronomy 3:22, That night the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham."

3. Deuteronomy 31:6, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

4. Deuteronomy 31:8, The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

5. 1 Chronicles 22: 13, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.

6. 1 Chronicles 28:20,
"Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you."

7. Psalm 56:4, In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

8. Psalm 112:17, They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.

9. Isaiah 12:2, Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation."

10. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

11. Isaiah 41:13, For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

12. Isaiah 43:1, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine."

13. Isaiah 54:4, "Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated."

14. Isaiah 54:14, In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you.

15. Jeremiah 17:8, He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

16. Jeremiah 46:7, "Do not fear, O Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, O Israel.

17. Daniel 10:12, Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

18. "so now I have determined to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid.

19. Matthew 14:27, But Jesus spoke to them at once. "Don't be afraid," he said. "Take courage. I am here!"

20. mark 5:36, But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid. Just have faith."

21. Luke 12:7, Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

22. Luke 12:32, "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

23. John 14:27, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

24. Hebrews 13:6, So we can say with confidence, "The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?"

25. 1 John 4:18, There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

26. revelation 1:17, When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.

Friend, if you are saved (You have made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior) you would never have to fear. He is always with you. He is with you now in this economy. He is with you during this health crisis. His with you through all your hardships and He will never forsake you. You can count on His great love.

Praise the Lord!

God Keep His Promises

Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name. When they call to me, I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them. With long life I will satisfy them, and show them my salvation. (Psalm 91:14-16)

Promises are the most important parts of relationships because they have to do with trust, and without trust there cannot be a relationship. Promises are the foundation of a relationship. This election season as well as the fall of a public figure this week have me thinking about promise keepers. When I was a child it was easy for me to trust. I only interacted with my parents and there wasn’t any reason to doubt their commitment to the family. My siblings and I knew that they had our best interest at heart; therefore, they did not have to sign a contract, we took them at their words. Our experience with them indicated that they were deserving of our trust and respect. Now as an adult, sincerity and integrity are conditions to trust. It is hard for me to have confidence in people, unless I have some experience in dealing with the person. The integrity of the one making the promise is the factor that makes the promise valuable. It is actually sad because integrity is not even popular in our culture. It is not a well-used or understood word. We use contracts as way to force people to keep their promises and even then amendments are made to modify or cancel the contract all together.

The newspaper are loaded with headlines concerning some of our most popular political, corporate and even religious leaders, and their statements always filled with awesome promises that never bring fruits. The fact is that promise-keepers are rare .

Friend, I know a promise keeper worthy of your trust. His record speaks for itself. Abraham and Sarah (as God renames them) were made a promise. They were promised a son and the Lord promised that Abraham’s name would become great and that a nation would come from his descendants. God also promises to bless him so that he may be a blessing. Both Abraham and Sarah were old but in due time Isaac was born, (many years later) but still at the right time just as the Lord promised, and finally, The promise was fully and finally realized in Jesus Christ. When God gives us his word on something, He will keep it no matter what. He is The Promise Keeper. It doesn't matter how impossible it seems to be, He will do what He says.

Friend, something has already been done to earn that trust. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay our sin debt in full. You have to trust God when He says He will answer your prayers. When He says He will be with you in time of troubles, He means it. He is the Promise Keeper.

Praise the Lord!

Count on God!

How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 36:7

www.bibletourwithjoline.com/dailydevotions.asp
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

David was a very spiritual man. God said "a man after my own heart"). He admitted he had challenges and expressed them through song in his psalms. The reality is there are so many people struggling through life with one form of challenge or another. I think what happens is that when we go through hard times, somehow we feel like we are the only one going through it. We tend to feel like no one else has been through this or even see the vulnerable places of our heart and can relate to what’s going on in your life. We tend to forget that we still have God on our side, and He is the one who really matters. God wants us to trust Him. He does provide for those who put their trust in Him. When He wanted to provide for Abraham, He tested his faith by asking him to sacrifice his only son (we know that God did not spare his own son for our salvation). God wants us to trust Him. He does provide for those who put their trust in Him. When He wanted to provide for Abraham, He tested his faith by asking him to sacrifice his only son (we know that God did not spare His own son for our salvation). A man of God has this to say about faith "Faith isn’t believing in God in spite of evidence but it is obeying in spite of consequences."

Christians still count on their own ability. When in trouble, they get discouraged if they are unable to see a way out. They worry time and again and finally, in absolute frustration and when they have exhausted all they know to do, they finally surrender and declare that it's now "in God's hands?" Friend, God should not be your last resort. He is our first and only hope, God will really provide for those who trust in and understand that He is indeed Jehovah Jireh. After analyzing my life, from childhood to today and after reading my Bible thoroughly, I am convinced that is NOTHING that cannot do. God can do all things. "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist" Colossians 1:16-17. As believers in Christ, you and I must trust the Lord. When troubles come, we must trust that God it all under control and that He has our best interest at heart. The True Believer does not ask why he should trust God; instead, he asks, "How can I trust God more fully?" The true believer does not ask why this and that has happened or haven’t happened to me, he instead invite God to use him as He sees fit.

God loves us and wants to help us with ALL our problems (from a broken nail, loss of employment, to our struggle with Diabetes, Cancer, High Blood Pressure, to our broken relationships and our emotional trials). All we have to do is let Him in. He wants to help. He wants to be in our lives. He wants us to experience His peace but we need to read and meditate on the Word to know him better. We can only trust someone we know. Friend, get to know God. Let Him be to you what He already is: Your creator, your provider, your healer, you joy, your peace, your salvation and your everything. Let not your heart be discouraged. He is able!

No weapons of disease, no weapons of death, no weapons formed against you shall prosper. Trust God. the adversary cannot win.

Be saved! Be healed! Be delivered!

"The fear of man brings a snare: but whoever puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe" (Proverbs 29:25)

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 51

Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.
5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
you taught me wisdom in that secret place.

7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
so that sinners will turn back to you.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
you who are God my Savior,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 Open my lips, Lord,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is[b] a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise.

18 May it please you to prosper Zion,
to build up the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,
in burnt offerings offered whole;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.

Healing.....................

Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am weak: O Lord, heal me, for my bones are vexed. Psalm 6:2

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me with thy free spirit. Psalm 51:10-12

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Psalm 51:17

Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. Psalm 61:1-4O

Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. Psalm 30:2

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Psalm 42:11

God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Psalm 67:1-2

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all thine iniquities, who heals all thy diseases. Psalm 103:1-3

Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee. Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily. Psalm 102:1-2

Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. Psalm 7:9

I have set the Lord always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope. Psalm 16:8-9

The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins. Psalm 25:17-18

Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. Psalm 26:2

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:18-19

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. Psalm 73:26
My soul longs, yea, even faints for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh cries out for the living God.  Psalm 84:2

The proud have forged a lie against me, but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart. Their heart is as fat as grease, but I delight in thy law. Psalm 119:69-70

Let my heart be sound in thy statutes. Psalm 119:80

Too Harg for God?

Nothing is too hard for God.

Father I am grateful for all that you have given me. Thank you for blessing me with parents who taught me about you. I am grateful that you are the only God who can do all things. I trust you with my destiny. I praise you and honor you in Jesus name.

Happy birthday to the most important person in my life! I love you.

Praise the Lord!

Oh Mighty God!

"These are only glimpses of what he does. We only hear a whisper of him! Who can understand the thunder of his power?" Job 26:14

God is the great (only) source and Originator of all power. The power of God is His ability to bring to pass whatsoever He pleases, whatsoever His wisdom may direct, and whatsoever the purity of His will may resolve. God's power is like Himself, eternal, incomprehensible and magnificent; it cannot be restrained, nor corrected. Meaning that God's power is like Himself, self-existent, self-sustained. God cannot be manipulated. We cannot force Him into doing what we want. He does whatever pleases Him, according to His timing and purpose.

The election season was quite interesting to me. It doesn't have anything to do with the pursuit of love and justice for all, my friend, who alone has the power to reconcile the world unto Himself, not counting their trespasses against them (2 Cor. 5:19)? Who alone has the power to be both just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus (Rom. 3:26)? Who alone has the power to forgive sins (Mark 2:7)? Who alone has the power to reckon an ungodly man righteous apart from works (Rom. 4:5)? And, who alone has the power to raise the dead to new life and then seat them in the heavenly places in Christ (Eph. 2:5-6)? We have all these spiritual blessings and more through the selfless and unfathomable power of the cross of Jesus Christ.

Do you want to see some real power? Then look upon the cross of Jesus Christ. Don't look forward in anticipation of something God is going to do. First and foremost, look back at what He has done. The testimony of the cross is the power of God. Here is where all the power you will ever need to smell, taste, touch, hear, or see can be found anytime through faith. In it, the gospel itself, there is supernatural power that is personified in Jesus Christ

Let us begin this New Year by leaning on the One who really has power. The One who demonstrated His power by dying on the cross for your sins, resurrected and ascended to heaven where He's making room for you, and soon, real soon, He will return to take you with Him, and you will experience His power, His joy and His love for all eternity. Christ is the gospel, both the subject and the substance of it and the gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Rom. 1:16) and one day, all mankind will acknowledge that Jesus is Lord.

Make a point to praise God daily and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
