God is Able

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20

God is still in the business of answering Prayers. You can and should bring all requests to Him. It makes absolutely no sense to carry your burdens alone when you can just easily take all to Him in prayers. All things are possible to God, and through the blood of Christ on Calvary, all things were made possible to you. Believe in God’s word, don’t limit Him or yourself. You can do all things through Christ which is in you. (Philippians 4:13).
You can heal, and be healed. You can be delivered; you can prosper in Jesus name. You can be set free out of the mess your life has become. (Mark 16:17)
Take the limits off of you today. Take the limits off of your circumstances today. You can have it all. Everything is possible for who believes (Mark 9:20 and Mark 10:26).
The power of the blood of Christ is limitless.

Friend, the word of God will not fail you and I cannot believe for you. Oh! How wish I could! You have to believe for yourself. Your have to meditate. You have to keep the word of God alive in your heart, soul and Spirit. You have to go for it with all that you have. You have to cling to the word of God, when you’re going after your miracle. You have to be persistent. God will strengthen you as you grow in faith.

Be blessed. Be strong. Be persistent in the Holy name of Jesus.

Praise the Lord!

Focus on the Blessings...

"Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great" Matthew 5:12

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Have you ever suffered through a situation that should have been a time of rejoicing? I have. For years I complained about having to work in an environment I detested but after I left, I started worrying about finding a new job and never actually enjoyed my newfound freedom. Sadly I overlooked my blessing. During that time when the problems seemed so great please take a deep look. And you will see that the blessings are even greater. The devil has a way of shifting your attention toward the negative to keep you from enjoying the positive and that is why God urges us to be vigilant. You already know, based on the Word of God, that there is no lack in the Body of Christ. Everything you could ever need is there, and the blood of Jesus has covered every problem you could ever face. It doesn't matter what the doctor says. It doesn't matter how much you are hurting right now. The situation will stop; it has to stop when the blood of Christ covers you. So there is no need to shed a tear and definitely no reason to spend a God given day worrying about a problem He solved more than 2000 years ago.

We want victory but we don't want to fight for it. We live in this "instant gratification" culture (fast food, fast relationship, fast breakups) where everything is fast and we carry that mentality in our relationship with the Lord. We measure God ability to deliver us based on how quickly our problems are solved. We refuse to invest the time necessary to develop a relationship with Him. We just want to get what we need and be on our way. God loves us too much to let us get away with it. He always comes up with ways to keep us at His feet. Children who trust their parents have no worries in their presence and "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" Psalm 46:1. So when trouble comes overlook your circumstances and focus on God's ability and willingness to help you through. Focus on the reward waiting in heaven. Meditate on the promises of God daily. You really do need to spend time reading the Word of God for it is the Will of God. One of my favorite preachers put it like this: "the Word of God isn't enough. You must continually feed on what it says. Get it out and read it. Feast on it Go to church and hear it preached". You don't live on the memory of yesterday's meal do you? The same goes for the word of God. You must feed it to yourself daily. Don't just sit around and let the devil beat you down. Remember that Christ already won the battle. It is done, finished. Praise the Lord!

Again, you are blessed and highly favored, so if you have been suffering through some tough times lately, I urge you to look around and wake up to the blessings that surround you. Pure joy can only come when you focus on you blessing and overlook the circumstances. Keep your eyes on the Lord and remember earth is the journey but the destination is heaven.

Praise the Lord!

You Have a Friend

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16).

Friend, God consider you to be His friend. One of the privileges of being His friend is the ability to reach out to Him anytime.

Some people don't understand the concept of friendship because they never experience it.

A natural friendship involves loving and being loved. It is involved the assurance (undoubtedly) that someone's always there for you, and want you to succeed in everything you do. A friend is someone you long to spend time with, and run to with bad and good news. More importantly a friend does not turn his back on you when you mess up or when things get tough. The only way you can be such friend is by investing the time necessary to develop it. You must work on it. You wouldn't just go to a friend when you need something, would you? You go to a friend with every subject affecting your life and you make time for your friend as well. It shouldn’t always be about you.

Developing a friendship with God is similar to develop one with someone here on earth, except for the fact that a relationship with God is much more important. It is the most rewarding friendship you can ever have. Lots of people want to be God's friend they just don't know how to achieve it. In reality, it is very simple. One needs go to Him in prayers. Unlike people here on earth, God will not turn anyone down. He's been waiting. He will NEVER forsake you and He is DEPENDABLE and FAITHFUL.

Are you alone right now? Are you searching for that friend that would never turn his back on you? Turn to God right now. Don't wait until you have a pressing need. The word of God says that He wants to be involved in every area of your life. You don't need a major situation to approach God. Above all, He wants to be your friend.

Thank you father God for being "my friend".

Praise the Lord!

You were Created in His Own Image

Walk in love!

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Do we look like God? Do we remind people of God’s goodness when they see us? Do we love like Him? Do we care like He does? In the very first chapter of the Bible, God lays the foundation for what will follow. If the foundation is not laid correctly, then the rest of the building is crooked right? God establishes our vision of what His purpose is and where we are headed with our lives, and being what we are, we need to have some insight into what He is. So He tells us immediately, in the first chapter of the Bible that we are made in His image and His likeness. God is clearly implying that He is reproducing Himself and that His purpose is that we will be exactly like Him when He is finished with us. Praise God!

To be like Him means that we would give to others; God is the “greatest Giver and Lover”. He loves so much that He gave His only Son (John 3:16).
Be like Him means that we were created with the power to change the world. We look like Him not just in our Physical forms but in our spiritual form as well. When we understand this concept, we will understand how much He really loves us and how much we can accomplish in this world.

We were created by a loving father who gave us dominion over all on this earth. The devil has no power over us. We can prosper, we can be healed, and we can be free. Praise God! When the world sees us, they need to recognize the power of the living God. Our life should reflect complete joy and contentment. We cannot look defeated when we are going through the tough times, we have power of the living God in us.

Friend, walk in love and godliness. Claim your power and face the world with unconditional love. Let the world see the love of God in you. Do not love in the ways of the world. Love truly and completely. Give selflessly and generously. Show enduring love just like God has been showing you. Give compassionately and without expectation of reciprocity.

God's love cannot fail. He is Almighty. He is good at all time. Walk in His goodness and His love. Claim your destiny and your inheritance as one His beloved child. Live in victory and love. Let the world know that you are the heir of the highest God by your actions and not just your words. Walk in love!

Praise the Lord!

The Word of God

“And how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy: 15-17

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

There are only two ways of living in this world: live according to the flesh which leads to death or according to the Spirit which leads to life. Unfortunately there is not an in-between alternative for those who like to be on the neutral side. It is one or the other. God is our source for spiritual abundance which inevitably manifests as physical abundance, health, financial, relationships and career; in order for this abundance to flow, we need to know the word of God. Knowing God intimately starts with reading His word.

Friend, whatever you are looking for in life, it starts with God. He is the Source. People tend to forget who God is when they are going through the tough times, in reality, when facing challenges we must always focus on the word of God. It is vital that we, as the people of God to be firmly and unshakably rooted in His truth. Our lives must reflect the power of the living God. For some reason, God's people constantly want to drift. Christ promised to never leave us alone, but we worry when facing adversity. David said, "I esteemed your words more important to me than my daily food, more precious than riches of gold and silver." We can only acquire spiritual strength by meditating upon the word of God. He added in Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." The word of God sheds light to enable me how to live, how to proceed. There cannot be darkness in the presence of God.

Are you going through a confusing time? Lean on God and meditate on His word. Joshua was going through a tough time, but he stood firm because God told him he would have success as long as he meditated on the book of law. He was told not to let it depart out of his mouth. He was told to stay focused on it. Uncertainty and confusion can only set in when we lose our focus on the word of God.

The Bible is our authority. It is through reading God’s Word that we come to acknowledge His righteousness and that which He requires of us. Friend, study the Bible for that is where you'll learn of God and His plans.

Praise the Lord!

Who's Controlling Your Mind?

And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

www.bibetourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravevjoline.blogspot.com

Jesus knows that our minds need to be kept. THE DEVIL MOVES THROUGH THE THINKING PROCESS. If you let him dominate your thought life, he can defeat you but you have power to fight him. You have power that most believers don't even know about. The Word of God tells us that "so at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth" (Philippians 2:10). Satan is a liar and he works carefully, he often starts with a thought. He may suggest that your headache could be something else. Next he will give you some suggestions of what he thinks they are and within minutes you may find yourself complete ill. Not too long ago, a group of us went to pray for someone who was convinced that she was dying. She confessed that she knew for a fact that the end was near. She was troubled, living in constant panic and afraid to go to sleep. It wasn't until months later that we found out she never actually went to the doctor. She diagnoses herself with the help of the deceiver (the devil). She lost a high paying job because of attendance issue. We kept praying for healing when we should have been rebuking the devil out of her mind. When the devil seems to take control of your mind you must run him out by calling on the name that is above all others, the name that gives life, the name of savior Jesus Christ. When you have peace in God in doesn't matter what the doctor says anyway. Remember that our Father is Jehovah Rapha. (Exodus 15:26).

JEHOVAH-RAPHA IS THE HEALER OF ALL OUR TROUBLES. God's healing power is not limited to the body alone. It covers the mind and every area of our lives and if you could get a hold of this, the devil wouldn't have any influence over your thoughts. One of the things I notice early on in life was that we pay more attention to the negative than the positive. For instance, when someone in my family gets a great position or finds a dream jobs none of us hear about it but when one loses a job! The whole world will know. We have to celebrate the positive. Why is it necessary to celebrate the works of the devil and not the multiple victories orchestrated by our Heavenly Father? Is it because we think of the devil more often and more highly than we think of God? We have to walk in the light of what we know. You can be release from oppression to your body and your mind. As a child of the Omnipotent God, you can exercise spiritual authority. You can order the devil out of your life by resisting him, and the word of God assures us that he would have to flee from us ( James 4:7). Praise the Lord!

It is quite alright to call on the name of the Lord. He will not get tired of you; however, there comes a time when the believer has to stop being a spiritual baby. There comes a point when you have to grow and take on your authority. Certain things happen in our lives because we let them. "Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven".(Matthew 18:18) What a wonderful promise! You can literally order prosperity and healing in every area of your life, Glory! And when you start exercising your authority nothing and especially the devil will not be able to have control over you because you will know the peace of God.

Praise the Lord!

Give Thanks To The Lord

Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. (2 Chronicles 16: 8)

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com

There are people who would have loved the opportunity to be here today but they are not. We have so much to be thankful for here in America. In the country I was born there’s a limited supply of clean water, and not everyone has access to it, and sometimes people have to travel by foot many miles to get to it. I woke up this morning feeling victorious because I have clean water running in three different areas and I live in a reasonably small but comfortable place.

There are people in many parts of the world where I have lived who have never seen a doctor their entire lives, but you and I run to the doctor at first sign of a common cold. In many places of the world people have to travel twenty to thirty miles by foot to get to a place of worship that has no ventilation systems but they make it there on time. Here, it is a matter of getting into our cars and yet we hardly ever get there on time. God forbid it should get cold or barely raining, we may not make to church at all. I can see the ocean from all corners of my place. Friends There is beauty all around us, and make the choice to notice it and enjoy it. There is always a reason to praise the Lord. God is a good Father. He only wants the best for His children.

God is looking for men and women who are going to be consistent and persistent in their faith-walk. He is looking for men and women who will praise Him, regardless of their situations; can He count on you?
Will you have the courage to praise him when your spouse of twenty years walked out on you for no apparent reasons?
Are you going to praise Him when everyone around you is getting blessed financially while you are facing bankruptcy?
Can God count on you when you’re starting to go grey and all of your friends are married and having children and you have yet to meet your soul mate?
Will you have the courage to praise the Lord when both natural and church families whisper loudly about your situation behind your back?
Will God be able to count on you when the world seems to be against you and all doors seem to be closing at once?
Should He count on your praise when the doctor looks at your loves ones and shake his head while telling you there is nothing else possible that can be done?

Friend, you have to keep trusting God through everything. He is your maker and He loves you. I do understand that there are times in our lives that are so difficult that we’ll be tempted to believe that our efforts are vain, and we may be tempted to get discouraged, but those would be the time to trust God, and take Him at His word. Spend quiet time and meditate on his words, and give Him praise; but, you have to know what the word is. Let’s look at a few passages:
“If we endure with Him, we will also reign with Him” 2 Timothy 2:12

“Being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience and joyfully giving thanks to the father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.” Colossians 1:11’12

For more on the subject of perseverance read: Romans 8:25; Galatians 6:9; Hebrews 3:14 Psalm 37:7-9; Hebrews 10:36; James 1:2-4 and 12; Romans 5:3-4 ; Revelation 21:7; 2 Timothy 2 12-13.

Friend, nothing should get in the way of your praise. Praise God always and in all situations and you will see His glory.

Be fortified, be courageous and please be patient, in Jesus name!

Praise the Lord!!!

Perfect Peace

"The man whose heart is unmoved you will keep in peace, because his hope is in you” Isaiah 26:3

www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
wwww.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Apostle Paul's advice
"Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another." (Romans 14:19).

"Pursue peace with all men, and, without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14

Jesus made us the promise of peace:
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (v.27).

The Greek word for peace is eirene which means to bring peace, to be at peace, to live in peace, and the Hebrew Scriptures used many words for peace, the main one is “shalom” which also means completeness, peace, to be at ease spiritually and emotionally, and to have a sense of internal well-being despite adverse circumstances. Peace is used over 265 times in the Old Testament and 95 times in the New Testament and this is the kind of peace God intended, and has made provision for those who trust in Him.

We are not living in a peaceful world. There is trouble in the Middle East, in Africa, Indonesia, Haiti and Japan, but the increase of crimes of violence in this country is discouraging. "I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world!" (16.32-33) We are not promised an easy path, but we can still have peace because of the One who is with us. We will be "insulted and persecuted and have all kinds of evil told falsely against us because of Christ" (Mt. 5.11). Yet we are to "love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us" (Mt. 5.44). The path that leads to life is narrow and hard and yet we can still experience God's perfect peace.

Jesus promises peace. Not the kind of peace given by the world. He promises a peace that is deep and enduring, a peace at the center of our being that no outward circumstance can take away. Jesus promised the kind of peace that surpasses all intelligence. Jesus could promise peace because He is the Prince of Peace. There can be peace in adversity with God and there should be no more conflict within ourselves and we need not to be afraid. We need to be able to sleep soundly because we have peace in Him.

Now charge your spirit up with the word of God and walk in victory by faith and you shall overcome. Praise God for His perfect peace. Be joyful my friend, the situations of your life are changing. It is God will and promise to you to experience perfect peace.

Praise the Lord!

The Promise Keeper

Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name. When they call to me, I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them. With long life I will satisfy them, and show them my salvation. (Psalm 91:14-16)

www.bibletourwithjoline.com

Promises are the most important parts of relationships because they have to do with trust, and without trust there cannot be a relationship. Promises are the foundation of a relationship. This election season as well as the fall of a public figure this week have me thinking about promise keepers. When I was a child it was easy for me to trust. I only interacted with my parents and there wasn’t any reason to doubt their commitment to the family. My siblings and I knew that they had our best interest at heart; therefore, they did not have to sign a contract, we took them at their words. Our experience with them indicated that they were deserving of our trust and respect. Now as an adult, sincerity and integrity are conditions to trust. It is hard for me to have confidence in people, unless I have some experience in dealing with the person. The integrity of the one making the promise is the factor that makes the promise valuable. It is actually sad because integrity is not even popular in our culture. It is not a well-used or understood word. We use contracts as way to force people to keep their promises and even then amendments are made to modify or cancel the contract all together.

The newspaper are loaded with headlines concerning some of our most popular political, corporate and even religious leaders, and their statements always filled with awesome promises that never bring fruits. The fact is that promise-keepers are rare .

Friend, I know a promise keeper worthy of your trust. His record speaks for itself. Abraham and Sarah (as God renames them) were made a promise. They were promised a son and the Lord promised that Abraham’s name would become great and that a nation would come from his descendants. God also promises to bless him so that he may be a blessing. Both Abraham and Sarah were old but in due time Isaac was born, (many years later) but still at the right time just as the Lord promised, and finally, The promise was fully and finally realized in Jesus Christ. When God gives us his word on something, He will keep it no matter what. He is The Promise Keeper. It doesn’t matter how impossible it seems to be, He will do what He says.

Friend, something has already been done to earn that trust. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay our sin debt in full. You have to trust God when He says He will answer your prayers. When He says He will be with you in time of troubles, He means it. He is the Promise Keeper.

Praise the Lord!

Jehovah Jireh

The Lord Provides

And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. Matthew 14:14

Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way." Mathew 15:32

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

When you are in need of something great, the devil will try to play with your mind, and cause you to doubt God's ability to provide. You must not let him win. You have to remain strong. Jesus has won the victory for you. Send those lies along with Satan back to the pit where they came from and claim the promises of God.

It is very important to remember that no matter what the need may be, God is the one who provides. He is able and willing to provide for his children. From the 2 scriptures above, Jesus demonstrated with a crowd of 5,000 and another of 4,000, that He is the God who provides. We do not like them but we need those difficult moments in life. There's nothing, that will bring you more face-to-face with God's ability to provide than when we find ourselves in desperate situations. When you are in a dark valley you are going to cling to His garments like the woman with the issue of blood, and hold onto His hand and His word. My friend, God word is forever true and His word is life. I thank God for those trying moments of my life that have forced me to run to him and hang on tight.

The power of Jehovah Jireh cannot come alive unless one of God's children has a need. When the most "responsible", "typical" reasonable and "natural" thing to do was to ask the multitudes to find their own food, Jesus turned to the supernatural power of God. I can only imagine the disciples' surprise when Jesus told them to feed the multitude knowing that there were no food on hand. When Jesus blessed the bread and the fishes, He was confident that God would multiply them. He did not seem to doubt the father's ability.

What is your pressing need? Can you trust God with it?

Are you praying for healing for a love one? Are you looking for a job? A mate? maybe you want to go to graduate school. You maybe physically ill or rejected by loves ones. The needs are many, but I am telling you this morning that Jehovah Jireh is still providing for those who trust Him (firm assurance that He is able). He wants to turn your situations around if you would just bring them to Him in prayers and rely on Him completely just like Jesus did when He lives among us. He is our example in every way.

We are serving a great God. Experience His goodness and might in your life. Bring Him something big, trust Him and watch Him work. There's nothing sweeter than the fruits answered prayers.
Learn to trust God my friend, He is Jehovah Jireh!

Praise the Lord!

Happy birthday Jolie-Luna! God bless you. May you grow up to know that God is all that you need!

A True Worshiper 4

I will praise you, my God and king; I will bless your name forever. I will always sing praises to my God while I am alive. Psalm 146:2

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Worship is an expression of love to the One who gives us more than we could ever ask for and definitely gives more than we deserve; we are called to worship God with your every thought and action every day of our lives. God is loving. He is holy and He is worthy of all our worship and devotion. God wants us to be like him and every way. HE even tells us how worship him in His Word. John 4:23 says, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks." In order to worship God in truth, we need to know that Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." So, before you and I can worship in the way that God desires, we have to develop a relationship with Him through faith in Jesus, His Son. God is the focus of our devotion in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. In Exodus 20:2-3, God says, "I am the LORD your God, you shall have no other gods before me." In Matthew 4:10, Jesus says, "Worship the Lord your God and serve him only." So, worship is not something superficial, it's a command from God throughout the Bible.

Our love to God and our praise to Him should be a daily matter (not a routine) and not an occasional occurrence. Every day God sends unnumbered blessings, and his children are covered with favor. God alone is worthy of our devotion, praise and worship. He is God, our Creator. He continuously gives us His best. He sent his son Jesus Christ to die and we are commanded to praise and worship Him. Psalm 96:9 says, "Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth." Psalm 29:2 says, "Give unto the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness." Worship…worship and worship God my friend.

Romans 12:1-2 states, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is his good, pleasing and perfect will." The Bible says that God inhabits in the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3). Meaning, God “dwells” in the atmosphere of His praise. This means that praise is not merely a reaction from coming into His presence, but praise is a vehicle of faith which brings us into the presence and power of God! Praise and worship is the “bridge” which allows us to enter the holy God's presence. David said “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name” (Psalms 100:4).

Friend, let us challenge each other to become a person of praise, and you will experience the release of the power of God!

Verses to remember:
Psalm 146, John 4:23, Exodus 20:2-3, Matthew 4:10, Psalm 96:9, Psalm 29:2, Romans 12:1-2, Psalms 22:3 and Psalms 100:4

Praise the Lord!

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will. . Acts 13:22; 1 Samuel 13:14

What is worship? Worship is the expression of our love affair with our wonderful Father. It really is the only the appropriate response to the God who created Worship is acknowledging the magnificence of the only living God. We worship God for who He is period: The Alpha. The Omega. The Beginning. The End. Worship isn't something observed at church or attended, it is something we are and do actively and voluntary. True worshipers know cherish God everywhere and at every place.

We do live in a culture in which leaders are more consumed with construction of the biggest auditoriums then seeking soul and sermons along with worship are designed to accommodate the audience and the attendees while pleasing God takes a back seat. Our church leaders are money-driven. They tend to forget what worship is all about. Friend, like David, we need to be people who are after God's own heart. We need to imitate Jesus Christ who glorified the father in Spirit and in truth when He lived among us as a man. the fervent desire for what is right in the sight of God should be our only focus.

God loves you and He wants you to praise him, to worship him. He is seeking your worship. God search for worshipers is a worldwide one and it isn’t limited to where you live. Meaning you have to take Him with you on vacation, at your job and every place you go. God rules over the whole earth and He sees you wherever you are; the call to worship is universal. He created man to worship and to love him, and that obligation could never be cancelled.

Friend, God speaks to you and says, “Worship me.” You may say God has enough of praise in heaven, what can He want on earth? You may say that there are plenty of people here on earth to worship God and your worship will not make a difference but you will be wrong. God cares about you personally and specifically; Will He be grieved if you refuse to worship Him? Will He notice your indifference? You better believe it. He has many other voices, but He longs to hear yours. He has countless children and yet He loves them all and He doesn’t want to lose any of them, especially “you”, that is exactly why He sent Jesus Christ to die on that cross. The family would not be complete without you and the worship not complete without your voice. You are special to your father’s eyes. He loves you that much. My favorite preacher put it like this “God really wants those perfectly made sweet lips of yours that perfectly shaped tongue of yours, and that tender and loving heart of yours. He wants them all for himself. Will you give your loving Father what He wants? My friend let us worship God in spirit and in truth! Let us decide today that our worship will take priority over our circumstances. Let us declare today a new beginning in our relationship with God. Let us become true worshipers!

"God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

Praise & Worship

Hallelujah! I will celebrate Jehovah with my whole heart, Let the Lord be praised among the upright, and in the meeting of the people. Psalm 111:1

www.bibletouravecjoline.com

Very often, praise to God is something that many people leave at church and other times they praise at an event when they come together with other Christians, and they are not aware that God can be praised in everywhere at all times. Some people will not even mention the name of the Lord in public. Others cannot help praising those they love, from their husband to their children, they cannot seem to stop boasting about their accomplishments but when it comes to praising God, they keep quiet by fear of being alienated.

Praise is not something we do once in a while or in secret but it is rather a believers lifestyle, an integral part of the believer’s prayer life. God can be and should be praise in private but also at work, in the car, at home in bed, or anywhere; David praise the Lord wherever he went because he knew that praise to the Lord brings the refreshing of the Lord’s presence, along with His power and anointing. “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalms 34:1). Praise is also an expression of faith, and a declaration of victory! It declares that we believe God is with us and is in control of the outcome of all our circumstances (Romans 8:28). Praise is a “sacrifice,” something that we offer to God sacrificially, not just because we feel like it, but because we believe in Him and wish to please Him. “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name” (Hebrews 13:15). It is no wonder that David remains, one of the greatest warrior of not just biblical time, but the greatest warrior of all time. Praising the Lord was part of his daily living.

“The true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:23). Praise and worship pleases the Lord. He delights in the love and devotion of His children. He created us for that purpose. According to the scriptures, the various expressions of praise bring blessing to the Lord. He eagerly awaits the fragrance of our affections, desiring to manifest His sweet presence and power in our midst. There are many ways to praise and worship God:

The most common biblical expressions of praise include:
Singing praise songs (Psalms 9:11
By lifting our hands (Psalms 134:2)
Declaring of thanks (Heb. 13:15)
By being still (Psalms 4:3-5, 46:10)
By being loud (Psalms 33:3, 95:1-6)
Clapping hands and shouting (Psalms 47:1)
Musical instruments and dancing (Psm. 150:4)
Psalms, hymns, & spiritual songs (Eph. 5:19-20)
Making a joyful noise (Psalms 98:4)

We must have a thankful heart. Friend, Do not wait until something good happens to praise God. The greatest thing has already be done: We are saved by grace through faith from eternal death. Let us praise the Lord always, since out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, if we make worship and praise our heart then it is Spirit Who will speak within us, God’ spirit.

Praise the Lord!

A True Worshiper

God, you are my God. And I want you so much. My soul and my body thirst for you, like a dry, weary land with no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, My lips will praise you. Psalm 63:1-3

www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

"My soul and my body thirst for you", what a wonderful line and what a delightful way to feel about God! What does it mean to be a true worshiper? In the conversation with the Samaritan woman, Jesus offers a few characteristics of a true worshiper: 1) A true worshiper worships the Father. 2) A true worshiper worships in spirit. 3) A true worshiper worships in truth. Jesus should know because He was a true worshiper. He worships in father in Spirit and in truth when He was living as a man among us. A true worshiper is also like David, meaning, he worships always through good and challenging times.

The Bible tells us David was a shepherd, he was a great warrior, he was a musician and to his downfall he was a ladies man. That is not to say that he did not read the Scriptures and mediate on God's word. We also know a few other things about David: He had many wives. We know that he was not always the best disciplinarian of his kids. In the story of Tamar for example, David did not do anything about the rape and his attitude concerning the rape almost cost him his life and his kingdom. We know that David committed adultery with Bathsheba and then try to cover it up ordered her husband's murder. David was not a perfect man who never sinned or never made a mistake.I would even say that he was bad to the bones; Yet God still called Him a man after His own heart. So what could be the reason? David always trusted God no matter what the situation and he praised God through everything in his life.

The above verse was probably written while David was in big trouble. He was on the run. His own son Absalom was after him; even though he was still king at the time, he humbled himself when it comes to God. David knew who the King of kings really was. In David we found a noble example of a loving, sensitive, gentle, self-analyzing soul, living in communion with God. He was an extraordinary man because in the middle of major misfortune (he was in hiding), he found time for God. In his hour of distress he looks up to heaven. In the middle of the midnight hour, he worshiped God. It is not without cause that God called him a man after His own heart. Acts 13:22; 1 Samuel 13:14

David understood that human existence is about God, not about selfish ambitions and hidden personal agenda. David accepted responsibility for his actions/choices, even when he did evil! David constantly stood ready to repent.

As far as worship,David was outstanding example for all of us. Many of the Psalms reflect David's passionate heart for worship. "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable (Psalm 145:3). It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your loving kindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night" (Psalm 92:1-2). I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised (Psalm 18:3). David was a man after God's own heart, because he truly glorified God in his heart! To truly worship God, we must know Him and not be ignorant of His good and glorious nature (Acts 17:23). Worship is to glorify and exalt God; to show our loyalty to our Heavenly Father.

God is looking for true worshipers. People who are not going to stop loving him just because they are hurt or sick, or just because their marriages come to an abrupt end, or just because they haven’t received the doctor’s report expected. God is looking for those who will remain faithful when tested. Can He count on you? This beautiful compliment, "a man after My own heart", is one that should characterize every one of us who calls Christ our Lord and Savior(Christians like you and I).

Praise the Lord!

The Gift

"The Gift of Yourself"

"Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you". Luke 6:38

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Why don't we just give? In fact, let's just give without an expectation of getting something in return. People don't give because they believe that they have nothing to offer. Our society thinks of giving in terms of money. In reality we have so much to offer. We can give our love, our time, our services, our talents and ourselves. There are those who will abuse it but do not let anything stop you. Be a giver. Christ is our example and He was the ultimate giver. He gave His life. What a gift!

Are you a parent who help your children with their homework daily, but your next door neighbors don't know how to read or write? Then invite their kids over and tutor their children along with yours. Are you a person with distinguished business sense? Then help your friends who seem to fail at every business venture. Are you a married couple who have had success in keeping the peace in your marriage? Then help your friends who are struggling with their relationships. You always have what it takes to give of yourself. For in every situation, there is something valuable and positive that you can offer.

Do you have a family? Then invite a few single friends over to dinner after church instead of talking behind their back. Your invitation may keep them from making a mistake. The best gift you can give is to give of yourself. Your time, your attention, your love and caring are far more valuable than anything that could be wrapped up in a brightly colored box with a bow on top.. When you give of yourself you discover how very effective you can be. When you give of yourself someone else receives great benefit, and so do you.

I am sure you would find something to give, if you try hard enough. I am sure your help will be appreciated. The gift of "self' is the best gift one can ever give or receive... God Himself has given us the gift of life through His son Jesus Christ.

God is the ultimate Giver. He expects nothing less than for us to follow His example. I challenge you to give away something every day of your life. You may think you won’t have anything left if you do that, but if you give as the Lord leads you to do, soon you will receive so much that you will have to figure out where to put it all. God gives you bread to eat and seed to sow (See 2 Corinthians 9:10). Some things that God sends your way are given as seed for you to sow into the lives of others. Ask God to show you what He wants you to give away. Step out today, and look for a way to give. God will bless and prosper you as promised.

Praise the Lord!

Where is God when it Hurts?

Where is God when it Hurts?

Do not be afraid or terrified; be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:2).

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Sometimes it hurts really bad and to be honest sometimes I do not know how to go on. Where is God? Why won't He stop the pain? He promised He would give us rest? Where is His peace that surpasses all intelligence? Doesn't He care about me and my suffering? Why won't He lift my burden? Jesus experienced pain as well. Even though He was about to raise His friend Lazarus from the grave, the Bible reported that He cried. (John 11:35). He feels your loss too because He loves you so much. Jesus sadness was apparent the night before His arrest, He begged His father to change the future, only if God was willing. He knew what the future holds and yet He had the courage to fulfill His mission. (Praise God!). He had the courage to face the tough times. He will also give you courage when you are going through difficulties. Trust Him and keep on trusting Him. Soon it will get easier.

Where is God when it hurts? Right next to you sometimes; and other times holding your hands, cheering you on, comforting you and whispering to your hears "do not fear, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10). Jesus is the Prince of Peace and when you invite Him in, He come along with His peace.

To be courageous is a command, and to not being courageous is to be disobedient to God. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, do not be terrified; do not be discouraged for I will be wit you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9). "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us," Paul said "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:37–39).

Friend, there's no greater joy and peace then to surrender your being to the Lord and trust that is more than capable of taking care of you. He is the Almighty. Surely His arm is not too short to save nor His ear too dull to hear (Isaiah 59:1). Just put your trust in Him and go to Him with all of troubles. In pain, grief and love, God is always near. In our dark and lonely moments we may not have a complete understanding and we may not answers to the questions of suffering, but we can surrender ourselves into the hands of the one who made us, the one who does have the answers, and who will faithfully walk with us and lead us through the dark valley.

Come to Him and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

Power of Prayer

Jesus Gave us Authority

He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. (Mat.10:1, 5:23-24).

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.biletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Why don't we pray anymore? Christians don't believe in the power of prayers and fasting anymore. When someone we love gets sick, whether it is the common cold, diabetes, or cancer, I want you to know that it did not come from God. We are too quick to accept affliction and diseases as the will of God. Scripture tells us that the will of God is for His people to be well and to live long prosperous lives and to help win souls for His Kingdoms. It would be impossible to accomplish that from the grave. In fact, most wonders of the devil in the gospels are to produce all kind of sicknesses and diseases. Jesus gave us the power to heal the sick and to cast out demons. The demon-possessed boy was healed by the faith and prayer of the father. The best thing we can give to our relatives is our faith and prayer, to our spouse, children, and grand-children, and even our neighbors. We don't have to run to anyone, you can pray for your family. Some people never even try. Jesus says "Everything is possible to those who believe" Mark 9:23, and then He says: if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Mt.17:20).

"Faith in Christ" is the most powerful force of the universe, able to heal the body, to stop storms, to move the mountains of hatred and doubts, and most specially to fill us with love, with Jesus in our hearts, the seed of the love, joy, peace, and security that nothing or nobody can take away (Rom.8:37-39). Faith in Christ" is something very simple and yet powerful, when we trust God, amazing things happen:
The father of the boy above believed and Jesus healed his son, by the faith of the father.

The woman in Mark 5 believed Jesus could heal her if she just could touch him she touch him, and she was healed, she stopped the bleeding she had for 12 years.
Jairus, in the same chapter, thought Jesus could resurrect his daughter, and Jesus resurrected her! Glory to God!
In chapter 7, the Syrophoenician Woman, believed Jesus could heal the epilepsy of her daughter and the daughter was healed, by the faith of the mother.
And the same goes on and on with the leper, the blind Bartimaeus, the servant of the Roman centurion, another pagan and yet another miracle. Nowadays for you and me to have "faith in Christ" is the same. God is no respecter of man, what he did before, He will do again.

Are you face a difficult season right now? Release your disappointments, your heartbreaks, your hurt, your pain, your failure, your loneliness, your ailments and all other burdens to God in prayers. Trust Him to take care of your needs and He will. God is able and willing, and all He needs is "your" faith. Only in one occasion in all Gospels Jesus "could not" make miracles, and it was in His own town of Nazareth, (Mark 6:5). Not even Jesus "could" make miracles when there was no faith! It is faith that gives Him permission to work miracles in your life.

Would you put your faith to work today?

Praise the Lord!

Divine Protection

Psalm 91
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

Worship with Believers

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

It is never too late to make a decision to start going to church. Start this weekend and make plans to attend regularly. I have come to realize that staying in touch with other Christians take my focus off of my challenges. What is a good church? It isn’t the church your entire family goes to for years or the church where you are well known. It is the church that stands on the word of God, where sound doctrines is taught. It takes courage to part ways with something you are accustomed to but when it comes to the walk with God, no sacrifice can ever be too great. God LOVES you and created you to know Him personally. He sacrificed His son for your salvation. Giving up the wrong church for the pursuit of spiritual growth and to develop a serious relationship with God should be a choice that you are willing to make.

Spiritual growth results from trusting Jesus Christ. "The righteous man shall live by faith" (Galatians 3:11). A life of faith will enable you to trust God increasingly with every detail of your life. You can join me in continuing 2011 right by adding the following to your New Year Resolution:
Allow the Holy Spirit to control and empower your daily life and witness (Galatians 5:16,17; Acts 1:8)
Trust God for every detail of your life (1 Peter 5:7).
Witness for Christ by your life and words (Matthew 4:19; John 15:8).
Obey God moment by moment (John 14:21) Read God's Word daily (Acts 17:11)
Go to God in prayer daily (John 15:7).

Friend, Jesus Christ is declared to be Lord by God in the Scriptures. He is worthy to be Lord because of who He is, not because of what He has done. The believer’s life should be under the control of Christ. The Christian should recognize that Christ’s control of his life is for his own welfare and fulfillment. Make an effort to attend church regularly and worship with other believers. Submit every area of your life to the Lordship of Christ and be blessed.

Praise the Lord!

God is in Control

"Therefore do not worry, saying what will we eat? Or what will we wear? For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things". Matthew 6: 31-32

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Putting your faith in God DOES work. I am talking from experience. I know exactly what it is like to toss and turn all night long and then take a pill the next night to sleep, and another pill or caffeine drink to keep awake through the day. I have known the fear of not having enough to pay my bills, the fear of losing house and my job, the fear of getting sick, the fear of marrying the wrong person, and the fear of letting the right person go. I have known the endless fear of living alone and dying alone. I have been tormented and challenged in every area of my life.
I WAS LOCKED UP IN A PRISON OF WORRY AND FEAR FOR A LONG TIME.

One day, not even that long ago, prompted by the Holy Spirit, I opened my Bible to Matthew chapter 6 and I have been leading a different life ever since, (Praise God). Matthew 6 is God's provision for a worry-free life. In that chapter, what our loving Father is really saying is, don't worry, I got your back. I got you covered. It is a summary of all that He is as told in various verses in the Bible. He is saying: I am Jehovah Shalom, The Lord your peace (Judges6: 21)
I am Jehovah Rapha, The Lord who heals you (Exodus 15:26)
I am Jehovah Jireh, The Lord who provides for you (Genesis 22:14)
I am Jehovah Rohi, The Lord your Shepherd who takes great care of you (Psalms 23)
I am Jehovah-Elyon; The Most High Lord, who sees all and can do all (Psalms 7)
I am Jehovah Sabaoth, The Lord of Armies who fights your battles (Isaiah 44:6, Malachi 3:7, and Psalms 46:7)
I am Jehovah-Nissi, The Lord Your Banner (Exodus 17:15).
Obviously when you have Jehovah on your side, there isn't a need to worry. Besides, the word of God says "which of you can add a single hour to span of life by worrying? (Matthew 6:27).

Friend, if worrying is sign of little faith; then putting an end to worry could be the stepping-stone to building your faith up. Make the decision to trust God. Ask Him through prayers to help you trust Him. "Ask, and it will be given to you" (Matthew 7:7)

don’t let worry and fear paralyze you for another minute. Unlock the prison door. Break free. Jesus died for you freedom. Claim that freedom in His name. Read Matthew chapter 6:25-34 and get on the road to recovery.

Praise the Lord!

Still Standing

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.blogspot.com

Many Christians have trouble understanding why they suffer setbacks. It really doesn’t matter how long you have been a Christians and how strong your faith is, we all have moments when our faith is tested. There are some situations that just don’t turn out the way we hoped or expected. If that ever happens to you, don’t panic, don’t give up. Stand firm, re-align your thoughts to biblical principles, remember God is still in control and your battles are His. It’s not over until He says so. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

There could be a day when you awake to the same situations of the previous days. You find yourself finding the same problems yet again. You may not feel strong enough to face your troubles but remember this: “Dear friends, don't be surprised by the fiery troubles that are coming in order to test you. Don't feel as though something strange is happening to you, but be happy as you share Christ's sufferings. Then you will also be full of joy when he appears again in his glory”. (I Peter 4:12-13) Just when you think it is over, you are lifted up and your strength completely renewed because “My kindness is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak. So I will brag even more about my weaknesses in order that Christ's power will live in me. Therefore, I accept weakness, mistreatment, hardship, persecution, and difficulties suffered for Christ. It's clear that when I'm weak, I'm strong”. (2 Corinthians 12.-9-10)

If you have been praying for a long time about a situation and you are not seeing results, don’t worry, there is a reason for it, no the time for anxiety and fear. You don’t know it all but you’re the child of the Omniscient God. So when you get to one of those situations that you don’t seem to understand, call on God. At a recent single convention, a 48-year old man admitted to have been praying and ACTIVELY looking for a wife since He was in his 20’s and I told him that could be the problem. There are moments in life when you need to “stand still and let God”. God is not moved and pressured by time. He is Eternal. He knows how long your life is going to be, He knows when to bring this person into your life. I don’t care how long it’s been, you ought to keep praying and thank God for sending your mate even though you have yet to see him in the natural. It is not over until He says it is. You may be going through right now but your suffering will come to an end. Job didn’t stop trusting God through his adversity Follow his example. The Bible says when it is all over, you have won because “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There won't be any more death. There won't be any grief, crying, or pain, because the first things have disappeared”. (Revelation 21:4)

Praise the Lord!

There is Power in the Name of Jesus

"I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father can be glorified in the Son" John 14:13

www.bibletourwithjoline.com
www.bibletourwithjoline.blogspot.com
www.bibletouravecjoline.com

When I was about 9 years old, my parents encouraged me to memorize John 14, the entire chapter. It took a few days but I eventually did. Back then I didn't realize how important it was to understand that chapter. It was the key that shapes my Christian walk. It is the one chapter in the Bible that clearly explains why we prayed in Jesus name, and also it is the chapter that reveals the power of the Trinity (God the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit).

When you pray in Jesus name, you come to the father with everything that Jesus is, when you mention His name to the father, you are reminding Him of the blood covenant, the sacrifice on Calvary that is why you cannot fail. You can have power and dominance over whatever you are facing. "In Jesus Name" is not just some fancy words we used at the end of a prayer. It is the assurance that you will get whatever you just prayed for.

The name of Jesus comes with/synonymous of power and authority. I t is the name that is above all names. (Philippians 2:5-11). It is the ONLY name that SAVES.

God wants YOU to walk with power, talk with Power and more importantly He wants YOU to be filled with His power, but you have to know how to get it. His power is in His word, in Jesus, the Word becomes flesh (John 1:14).

When you pray in Jesus name, believe that you receive. You cannot pray in Jesus name and continue to worry about you situation. Jesus is power, dominion, love and victory.
You can come to God and expect a miracle in Jesus name.

I don't pray in Jesus name and hope to get an answer. I pray in His name and KNOW/EXPECT that my request/need is met and my answer already given (notice the past tense) on Calvary years ago.

Are you facing something so great, so powerful that it seems irresponsible not to worry? Are you facing a battle that seems lost in the natural? Let me assure you, there is no need to worry; your battle is already won in the spiritual, in Jesus name.

It is the will of God for you to be "worry free" to prosper, to be in good health. (Jeremiah 29:11-12).

It does not matter what you are facing, it doesn't matter what the doctor says, it doesn't matter what it looks like, it doesn't matter what your spouse and friends are saying. The word God assures you that you are more than a conqueror through Christ Roman 8:37). And that's that. You need to stand on the Word of God.

There is power in the name of Jesus. Put your faith to work and receive your miracle in Jesus name.

Praise the Lord!
