Who is Jesus Christ II?

Jesus said, "I and the Father are one." John 10:30

Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us." 9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10 Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. John 14:8-10

Jesus Christ Himself made the following statements: I John 10:11 he said “I am the good shepherd”. “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger [or] thirst” (John 6:35). “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman” (John 15:1). “I am the resurrection, and the life” (John 11:25). “I am … the bright and morning star” (Revelation 22:16

Who is Jesus Christ to me?
No verse is as clear as John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

There are some “grey areas” about certain things in life but when it comes to Christ,  It is simple. It isn't nuanced or complex. Jesus is the son of God who came on earth, live a sinless life. He died on the cross for my sins and that makes Him my Savior. He resurrected after three days and ascended to heaven. He is with the Father and one day he will come back to take me with Him as promised in John 14. "My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Jesus is the Christ. He is the anointed king/Ruler. He is a member of the Trinity. He is the Son of the Living God—meaning that He is God himself.

Thank you Lord Jesus for the sacrifice of the cross. Amen.

Praise the Lord!
