“Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your children and your children’s children— Deuteronomy 4:9
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

What does the Bible say about raising children? I have heard parents tell their children, “ Do not do as I do, and do as I say.” When it comes to training, Jesus practiced what He preached. He lived the value that He taught. He led by example. He never asked anyone to do anything He wasn’t already doing. The goal of all Christian parents is supposed to mimic Christ and it ought to be to create a home environment that makes it easy for the children to follow Jesus Christ and have a relationship with Him. God blessed parents with children and they are gifts that must be valued. Parents must do their best to raise them well, while praying that some day when their job is done, and they have gone home to be with the Lord, the children will still continue to follow the Lord. Parents cannot forget for one minute that doing God’s will is the purpose of our lives.

"Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7
Praise the Lord!
